As an aside I have always wondered why DeanaS doesn't get better lighted photos done? I haven't seen her in awhile, but I remember her being better than her photos. Personally I think providers should update their pics at least every six months, or even more frequently. Although my opinion may be biased since it means more business for me. .
But I find it strange that she expressed an interest in doing a shoot with me, and she contacted me about it. We set a tentative date, but then she didn't follow up. Then a week or so later she says she's waiting for some other photogs to send her their ports. I certainly have no issues with her shopping around, it's the nature of the business after all. But she just seems to be dragging her feet about the whole thing and using clearly substandard pics, which I'm sure must be effecting her business negatively. But maybe she has enough business that she doesn't feel the need for better pics.

I sent you a few samples, and April 16th you said you wanted to set something up next weekend. Then nothing from you until May 9th when you said you were waiting on some other photographers. So obviously originally you liked my work enough, but then changed your mind for some reason and didn't want to tell me. When I'm doing work for providers, I'm not trying to be artistic. No shadows, and contrast between light and dark, etc. I'm going for the well lit so you can see everything look. If you prefer something more artistic, that's fine, but that doesn't mean my work isn't professional. Also keep in mind that I'm not exactly working with professional models either in these shoots. I do the best I can with what I have to work with.
As for editing, I really don't do a whole lot of it. I balance some colors, smooth some skin tones, and that's about it. It's not like I'm doing the whole airbrushed, breast enlargement, waist shrinking, perfect symmetry, magazine cover thing. I do however remove tattoos if requested to preserve a provider's anonymity.
Obviously the choice is yours, but whether you work with me, or another photog, I think everyone will agree that you need new pics. Since you don't care for my work, I'd suggest posting an ad on CL under Gigs that you're looking for a photographer. I know for a fact that you'll get tons of responses. I will warn you though that the majority of them will be GWC's and students, but there will probably be a pro or two in there. I wish you luck.

None of what has been written publicly is productive at all. He-said / she-said is not going to do anyone any good. Lets not get hung up on what happened in the past and focus on what we can do in the future. There could be good times to be had by all if we behave like gentlemen.
Above all else take nothing personal, whether your a hobbyist or a provider, if you offer a service and someone is not interested in that service or if your not willing to provide your service to everyone it's all your prerogative. Complaining about the lack of service here isn't going to change anyone's opinion.
Now I can only imagine what shit is going to be said next. Blah blah, whatever! I really don't care what anyone says or thinks about me cause I am never going to meet any of you guys (LOL I'd be to embarrassed cause I am a big fat slob). Now the girls that do meet us put a lot on the line, ya I know they chose to be in this line of work (again blah blah) but that doesn't mean we have the right to second guess their decisions or concerns about their safety. After many conversations with him he feels that they don't have much of a case on her that they are fishing for information. He told the detective that he has no futher information to give them, then the next call he received was to his home phone and left a voicemail message for him. Well his wife heard it, he gave her a story but to me that's harrasement so I suggested he retain a lawyer to see what his options are.
Before that last message he did see Lydia twice in 2 different cities where she provided incall. They had an appointment set for a 3rd meeting, the day before she texted him and told him she had to cancel that something came up. Since then she has disappeared and that's when the police started to contact him again.
So that's the story, I'm waiting to see what comes of all of this.

I think we mongers all have been in a position once or twice (maybe even more) where we have been ripped off-either by lack of services promised or outright stealing of property. While I admire the creativity of following the thief around-and the situationm ended up working out for Energizerbunne-I would be hesitant to do something like that (even though my intincts would be the same).as you never know what type of person or persons you are dealing with-it can go bad in the blink of an eye-once it gets escalated there may be other repercussions that none of us want to deal with. I think the best advice is preventive maintenance-who walks into a session with 500 dollars in thier wallet? I never seperate myself from my wallet if I even bring it in with me. I bring the money I am willing to spend in my pocket-if I think I may dive on for extras then I keep the other money in the other pocket. I also try to wear pants that have button pockets-cargo pants or cargo shorts etc. Make it hard for them. After you see someone a few times you may build some trust but how well do you really know the people you are dealing with. Just put yourself in the best position so as not to have to deal with an issue in the first place. If you get taken-I shrug it off as the part of the risk we all deal with and write it off. Now I have never had 500. 00 taken from me so I am not saying I wouldn't have done something similar. My only advice to the any noobies is RTFF as there is a great amount of intel here that will help you avoid these situations and stay safe out there. Use Google reverse image search to see if the images in an ad are used elsewhere. The more hits, the more likely they are pictures "borrowed" from another provider, or model, or sometimes even actresses.
You can drag and drop an image to the search field, or copy the image url and paste it in.
Example, the post just before yours mentions a sting warning. Drag and drop one of the images, and it shows up as being from a London escort. The others are as well. Does it make sense that an escort from London, with her own website, would be traveling to Salem, MA and posting on Backpage under many different names? No, it doesn't. It doesn't have as large of a search area as Google Image Search, but both tools can help you determine whether a photo is real or fake.
First, you right click on a photo on an ad in question, and click Copy Image Location (or something similar depending on your browser).
Then, you paste that link into TinEye, or if using Google Image Search (click Images) click on the camera icon in the search box, and paste the link in there. I generally use both to be safe.
Sometimes you won't get a hit on TinEye. Usually you'll get a few if not more hits on Google Image Search.
I then go and check out the sites that have the image. You can tell if the images are fake if they are linking to sites that are unrelated to the services that the provider is offering (such as a photo gallery for a model; which is the place where the photos are stolen from most often). You can also check to see whether there are other ads running in other places with the same photos. If the dates don't match or aren't close together, then it may be a traveling provider. If the dates of the postings are on the same days or are close together, then you most likely have an ad with a fake photo that's being used across multiple ads.
