Did Katrina flood out all the postings for AMPs in NO? I used to love a Vietnamese place out on the Chef Hwy named the Lily Pad. I can appreciate it got flooded out by Katrina, except that they still have Yellow Page listings for that location and another one on Decatur about a block or two off Canal Street. Reviews connected to the Yellow Pages listing for the Chef location talk about price at about $1. 6. So it's amazing there's no discussion whatever here in the FF about any of the AMPs. Is there something obvious I've missed, or is there just no interest in AMPs in the NO forum?

FYI, with regards to Happy Feet, it is not an AMP like the ones out in East New Orleans. It is nothing but a massage parlor. They don't offer HE, HE is self-serve. Even tho, Sheriff Harry Lee is no longer with us, I don't think they're quite certain that JPSO will tolerate AMPs in Jefferson Parish.

New to the board, thought I would share my experiences. I have been to both Asian Health Spa, and VIP, both on Canal. VIP does not have many girls, maybe 2, and they are a little chunky. I'm an out-of-towner but I get to NO often. For AMPs, the best I could recommend near the Superdome is Hollywood (across the street from the Roosevelt). I prefer the AMPs on Chef Menteur Highway. I usually go to the Lilly Pad (Mimi. Was at Tokyo but has returned to the Pad) or Hong Kong (Coco or Jeannie. Both seem to vacation often so may be difficult to see them). Came back to NOLA for business and followed up on my New Year's Hollywood visit and lucked out to have seen Jade. Very polite, great chest, easy and calming. I was in New Orleans on Friday night, and thanks to the reviews here, I decided to check out Hollywood.
Knew it wasn't the best day / time, but figured I'd give it a shot. Was met by Angie, probably in her mid-late 30's, cute face, BIG belly.

I was visiting New Orleans for several days and had the chance to make three visits to the local AMPs.

It would seem that I am not one of the VIP's at VIP Health Club on Canal Street. In fact it would seem that nobody truly is. I found myself wondering away from Bourbon Street around midnight. Greetings, all you NOLA mongers. I normally post in the Northern Virginia (NoVA) boards, but I had occasion to spend a few days in the Crescent City and, once again, enjoy some of your city's fantastic food (as well as some of the good jazz on Frenchmen Street). One night, while walking along Decatur Street on the way back to my hotel, I noticed a sign on a side street (Iberville). So, I detoured and decided to take a chance. The establishment, depending on the sign above the door or the sign in the second-story window, was named either Bangkok Spa or Sun Bangkok Spa. Regardless, it is located at 509 Iberville.
A medium-height Asian gal, whom I later found out was Vietnamese, came to the door and let me in. She was at least a 36 C, reasonably attractive, and appeared to be about mid-30's. I believe she gave her name as Judy. Anyway, she had me sign-in on a clipboard in the foyer, and then took me upstairs. The house fee was. 6 for the "hour" (which did not last anywhere near that long). The entire interior was rather dim and dank, and the room with its high ceilings had the appearance of a basic flophouse room. I imagine that a lot of sweat and other DNA has been released within that room. At any rate, the towels on the bed were new, and she had me undress and get comfortable on the bed while she took the house fee to wherever they keep the money. When she returned, she gave a perfunctory massage on my back and legs, using a bit too much of a scented lotion, before prompting me to turn over. At that point, she then said that a HJ would be. 6 tip. I agreed and she proceeded to apply lotion to Junior Roman. I asked if any other options were available, and she said "Yes", but the price of $$. 5 for CFS was not enticing. When I reached up to lower her top and expose the headlights, she said that it would be another. 4 for that. I told her that I only had what I'd brought and that, in NoVA, exposed headlights was the norm in the AMPs there. She said that she would remove her top, but said that in NOLA (and especially with Asian establishments) it was normally extra.
The HJ was unremarkable, and she kept asking "Are you okay?" every 30 seconds. After about 3 minutes, she claimed that her hand was getting tired and said I needed to help. I did for a bit, but eventually put things back into her hands. Ultimately, I achieved Shangri-La and she provided a wet cloth to clean up. Afterwards, I got dressed, tipped her, and she showed me to the door.
Would I return to this establishment? No, not if I lived next door or even had a room within that establishment. Asian spas might be scarce in NOLA, but this place isn't the one to visit. The gal mentioned that most of their customers are guys in town for conventions. My advice: Look elsewhere.

It's more of a HE type of place. Some may say they hate paying the 120+ for 5-minutes worth of boom boom. That's quicker than a quick visit with an escort.
