6 charged with promoting prostitution at Richmond massage parlors.

Richmond police arrested six women on charges of promoting prostitution Tuesday after a raid at three massage parlors.
The arrests were the result of a three-month investigation by Richmond police and Kentucky State Police.
Search warrants were served at Yoshiko's Oriental Health Spa. 160 Northgate Drive; Fuji Health Studio. 219 S. Porter Drive; and Ocean Health Spa. 497 Eastern Bypass, Richmond police said. The searches resulted in the recovery of about $16, 300 in cash from the three locations.
Those arrested were Sun Aldrich. 52, of Oklahoma City, Okla. ; Myong Sim Tarver. 54, of Los Angeles; Sue Jones. 75, of Richmond; Chong H. Brown. 48, of Surf City, N. C. ; Pun Suk Ray. 52, of League, Texas; and Maria Lee. 56, of Aurora, Colo, police said in a release. They were being held in the Madison County jail.
Richmond Police Chief Larry Brock said Jones, the oldest woman charged, was identified as the manager of Yoshiko's Oriental Health Spa. Brock said the other women "were offering services" to men.
Based on the addresses given by the other women, Brock said he suspects they are "moved all over the country."
"It's basically human trafficking," he said."They move them from one site to the other. They probably use the same address every place they go."
No human trafficking charges were filed.
A 2007 study by the University of Kentucky documented as many as 69 cases of human trafficking in the state.
It is a felony in Kentucky to force someone into labor, domestic work or the sex trade. But Brock said "it's difficult to prove in these cases, because you have a hard time getting anybody to cooperate with you. Often, if the women get released on bond, they disappear. They're usually not cooperative with authorities."
The three locations raided Tuesday are "shut down for the moment," Brock said."We're going to see what measures we can take to keep it that way. We're exploring that right now."

I figured I would throw this news story up here to remind everyone in the hobby to not get complacent on their thoughts of Uncle Leo. But also to raise the question about the recent rash of out of state area codes on the Lexington BP. Many of these area codes are the same and while the probability of some being scams, some could certainly be providers that are being trafficked. The myths surrounding sex trafficking are immense and often times overblown, but that should not diminish real occurrences of it. So when fellow mongers visit with providers, particularly those from out of town keep the guard up higher than normal because trafficking involves organized crime and Uncle Leo loves nothing better than a good trafficking feather in his cap.
The story follows:
Lexington police arrested five people Tuesday after busting up a large-scale prostitution ring that rotated prostitutes through cities in several states, according to uniform citations filed in Fayette District Court.
Mario Antonio Flores, Roberto Salinas-Rivera, Adrian Lezama-Ruiz and Roxana Olea Serna all pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of engaging in organized crime and promoting prostitution. Danella Santos-Evangelista, accused of being one of the organization's prostitutes, pleaded not guilty to one count of engaging in organized crime.
According to the documents, Mario Antonio Flores was "somewhat of a leader in the operation based in Lexington."
Flores would coordinate prostitutes' arrivals and departures from Lexington; he would pick them up and "deliver them to. 'handlers' in his employ," the documents said.
Serna and Lezama-Ruiz were "handlers," police charged. Lezama-Ruiz allegedly ran a brothel out of his Cross Keys Road apartment. Serna was "observed driving prostitutes around to various locations in Louisville and surrounding counties," according to the citations.
Lezama-Ruiz was also charged with possession of a forged instrument after police found a fake Social Security card in his possession. He told officers he used the card for work as a janitor, the documents said.
Salinas-Rivera's job was to "deliver prostitutes to several different locations to perform their sex acts," the documents said; Salinas would allegedly then collect money from customers.
Santos-Evangelista, whose address is listed on court documents as Cranston, R. I, was the only person arrested who acted as a prostitute, police charged. She allegedly "travelled from state to state performing sexual acts for pay." The court documents say there were multiple prostitutes who "rotated from place to place."
The bust was conducted by the police department's intelligence unit in the Bureau of Special Investigations, which worked with other jurisdictions on the case, the court documents said. It wasn't clear from court documents where, besides Lexington and Louisville, the ring operated.

Now I'm sure trafficking of children happens to some extent, but as a rather long term user of the 'net, I have never seen it readily available to "in a few clicks, order a child for sex".

The Stanhope stuff is funny and very true. I've never seen any child porn. Now I'm sure some sick fucks have a few pics or vids on their iPads but I've never seen it. I have seen some reports online of BP girls that got their start in the business a a young age of 16 but that was originally thorough a pimp who gratefully "hooked" them up. I'm in Dayton so I have been checking out their forum threads. Found this and thought I would share. Makes me think twice. I know its hard to stop the hobby and I am usually very safe except I like BBBJ. I think for now on I will be only covered everything and will only see girls that require it or that are UTR.

Also they seized everything digital in the BP Texas headquarters so they have all of the email addresses used as account user IDs.
It will leave a vacuum all over the US that will probably be filled by local websites specifically for local providers to post their ads on. The local small sites will have to registered overseas through a 100% anonymous domain registrar and run through proxies so the admin can stay anonymous.

Dump your burner or delete the app if you used them, I assume no one would use a credit card at these places.

Just curious.They reported that the police had been watching and I imagine they took down license plate numbers. It's been many months now and LEO hasn't knocked on my door yet. I parked a a nearby Arby's when I went to the Somerst location and I would never use a credit card at a rub joint for several reasons.
Photo IDs are now in the hands of the Justice Department.
