What is up with all the new Asian Massage places opening. There is a new one opening in Indianola soon. So far all seem legit. Hopefully this will change. Since I'm rather frustrated. Here's the follow on to my previous report.
The new massage place on 86th will tease the fuck out of your ass. She practically gave me a prostate exam. And will lightly massage your inner thigh, possibly putting your balls in contact with the back of their hand, but they will not do more. It's SOP, as this action was done by two women. I was mumbling to myself that I'd probably go. 5 for a hand release. She must have heard me because she was shaking her head and saying sorry. I was embarrassed that she had heard me, and slid into frustration as the great tease happened.
The massage itself was great. But I'm not going to pay $70 for an hour or $100 for 90 minutes when other options. Like the body wisdom school is so much cheaper, and provides excellent service in that regard.
The fact that they will purposely try to arouse you without helping out later is enough to stop me from going.
On to chicago where the sure things are sure things.

She gave a moderately-mediocre massage. Used her knuckles more than I would have liked.

And agreed with the other poster that there are other, better options for a professional massage. Even the chains like massage heights are better, and a little cheaper. And they don't pressure for tips.

Woman was pushing way too hard and no extras, even though advertising in esct sec of backpage. Filed a complaint with backpage that it was a scam, and avoid this place at all costs. I was lucky as I made such a stink, got my $80, back as whole experience was bad, but you may not so lucky!
In town and tried Heathly spa in Ankeny. Nice masage but no extras. Left unhappy.

Three women have been arrested and charged following an undercover operation in Johnston.
Johnston police said XXXXXXXXX 53, XXXXXXX. 53, andXXXXX 54, were working at the Asian Body and Relaxation Center at 5249 Merle Hay Road.
Police said they were arrested after providing services to undercover officers during a sting on Wednesday.
The business was under investigation after police received tips and complaints about the services being provided there. A joint investigation involved the Johnston Police Department, the Department of Inspection and Appeals, Mid-Iowa Narcotics Task Force and the Polk County Attorney's Office.
XXXXXXXX was charged with prostitution and operation without proper licensing. XXXXXXX andXXXXXX were each charged with one count of operation without proper licensing.
The women were taken to the Polk County Jail.

King massage, I found the address, is run by same people that used to be in the ravenwood building, 86/ Hickman. Legit as far as I know.
Forest ave is legit. They even run groupons. Good massage.

To begin with, the parking is shit. The only door is in the front, and there is no parking there, so you need to walk around, and on grand there are always people driving by.
It's humid in there. They offer table shower + sauna. Ventilation isn't the best, so it feels muggy.
They were pretty busy, two tables going, and many interruptions as people entered the place.

Stopped by about a week ago based on the glowing review. Attractive 30 something took me to the room and started a good massage. Drapery quickly went by the wayside and I thought finally Des Moines was back on the map. That's when it all went south. This place has been there for about two years now. It's usually "Lily Massage", but I've seen it listed as "Asian Massage". That's what their sign shows anyway.

Is Des Moines completely dead?Well even if it is, at least I got a decent novelty account name out of it!. More than anything here I have to say I'm flabbergasted (in the good sense though, for once) to actually see others surviving in this notorious hobbyist's wasteland. I'm not a large patron of the art here, but honestly thinking back: There may have been ONE out of a DOZEN random encounters that wasn't objectively awful (and most, in_more_ways than one).
I believe a friend of mine visiting here from a bigger city, did one of these AMP. I remember him saying the actual masseuse he had looked and acted like the front_desk_lady SHOULD have (whom he told me get specifically hired to DRIVE OFF posers and looki-loos, and legit physical therapy patients (etc.) with their nasty, f-the-customer, assholey * attitude and appearance! I few more negative trip reports would probably help me out in that respect as well. Stopped by Red Rose for a 90 min massage and decided to test the waters since the AMP scene looks dead in Des Moines as per the reviews.
Arrived there and they were busy but was asked to wait 20 minutes, not a problem.

Facilities are so-so, but table was comfortable as I hate those barely padded ones. CoCo took good care of me and I was in no way disappointed, but she wasn't at the level where I would stick with her instead of trying someone else. But, if I got CoCo again, I wouldn't be sad at all.This is the probably the only place which offers CFS.

Was back in DSM for a short stay, dropped by Hull ave. This place is clearly YMMV. I took my own prior advice and went at a quiet time, 9 pm with snow falling. I called ahead to make sure they were open, mamasan said until 10 pm. I get there, very quiet. First girl I see is Sophie. She is about 5'4", maybe 5'5", average build, fairly trim but not skinny. Smallish B cups. Not a stunner, she wouldn't grab your attention on the street, but plenty cute. Looked younger than I expected, so correcting for asian age I will guess in the friendly half of her 30's. I greeted her in Mandarin (I know very little, but a little goes a long way with the girls) and she got a huge smile. Her english is almost as bad as my Mandarin. Had to use phone translate app a few times during my session. Paid the. 65 house fee for an hour. The massage part was not great. I have had worse, but if you are looking for the massage itself to be legit good as part of the experience, look elsewhere. On the flip she asks what I want, I say everything. She requests the $$ donation. She leaves briefly and comes back with her supplies. I won't go into the details of what happened next because I am not sure it would be fair. Like I said, YMMV. My prior visit which I posted a review of a few months ago was nothing like this one. I am nothing special, just an average middle-aged guy carrying a few extra pounds. But sometimes things just click for whatever reason. I made sure to be kind and patient, took care of her and she took care of me. I had a spectacular time with Sophie and would see her again in a heartbeat. This location still has all the downsides I and others have noted, curtains instead of doors on the rooms, walls that don't go all the way to the ceiling. But, at a quiet time of day (nobody else came in while I was there) and with some good luck, I had a great time. I will stop back again next time I am in town and hope Sophie is still there and remembers me. But, I won't expect either of those to be true.

Hr massage for. 7 plus. 1 for shower. Excellent massage, dry at first then nice warm oil. More and more teasing till the flip then L1 without asking. She wanted me to do it halfway, I said you're doing great and she continued. After, the cleanup, she finished massaging my chest and legs. Then gave a great foot massage. Geesh. It was great. I may go back tomorrow. Tipped. 4 and left. She really got all the knots out. I didn't inquire about other activities.

On a slow day drink and I found myself passing Hull but didn't find a good close place to park. Behind the building seems like your car will be towed but not fully sure and the bar curb was taken. Any safe suggestions on where to park?
