Just getting started on this site, but, I have a couple questions I was hoping someone could help me with. I noticed in the news that someone had been "going to meet a computer acquaintance" in Mishawaka, when he got mugged at the specified location. I was wondering if anyone had heard anything more on this story? I see a similar issue posted on the backpage site, where someone is complaining of being mugged at the location where he was supposed to meet the girl in the ad. I have seen similar posts on backpage previously and not given them much credence, but, with large number of girls currently advertising, I would not be surprised if some were on for that reason. The saying I keep seeing at the end of a number of posts "be safe out there" is a great idea, but, I was wondering what are some of the ways I should be looking at to reduce the odds of becoming a statistic.
Ways I try to use: tineye to see if pics previously used, phone check one number, new girl with new phone number, girl that has posted many times using same phone number, to good to be true pics.

I'm thinking they are being written by other providers for obvious reasons. There does seem to be an abundance of girls posting lately for our little community. I wish more of the mongers around here knew of this site. More feedback surely wouldn't hurt. I posted twice on backpage telling of this site and paid for repeat postings of the same message. The repeat posts never happened. Stings going on elsewhere are keeping me with regulars for now.

BMThe problem is that we are all an easy mark. If you get ripped off by trying to entice a young lady to do something illegal, are you going to the police to have them arrested? No way because LEO will have a major laugh at your expense. Even if they were to arrest the girl, they would have to arrest you for solicitation. Just find the good girls and keep them happy. It's the girls that only want the money and then they'll move on to their next mark that make it difficult for all of us. Unfortunately, South Bend has always been a haven for the ripoff girl, the clubs, BP, CL and the streets.
OK, OK. I have been around several Michigan boards long enough to know better I made a rookie mistake. Let the bashing commence. BUT, I felt that other gents should know.
In a recent dream, a few weeks ago, I saw a post from a new young lady a 20 whyear old spinner. Have a weakness for young spinners. Initially, communication and everything else seemed to go well. Sent texts, got quick responses. Texted pics to confirm posted pics were her. Telephone call, quick call back. She seemed nice, sweet, sincere. Agreed to meet at a public place (fast food restaurant) to get acquainted. Mentioned a driver (allegedly her brother) and that he would be there to initially check me out for safety but would fade away if the dream continued.
Dreamt that I went to the restaurant, was greeted in parking lot, got the stare-down from driver, she and I went inside to get a beverage. Chatted a bit, agreed. Seemed very nice, sincere.
This is where I F'the up dreamt she recommended that I go ahead and donate to driver to avoid any complications later and then that I secure a location (literally about a block away) and she would be right behind text her room. As I was securing the spot, got a text nervous, accusing me of being you and see l e l e o, said they were splitting, took off with my friend Benjamin. I knew better.
Wrote it off as a dumbass maneuver. But then the dream got stranger she called me later that night, apologized, swore to make things up to me, talked for about 10 minutes and she seemed sincere, said to call her Monday. Called Monday, not feeling well. Texted Tuesday, she's in the hospital, would call me when she's feeling better. Texted a few days later, her 'mother' responds that she's in a chemical induced COMA. WTF?
Sooo, I chalk it up to stupidity and move on not knowing if she'll ever call or resurface. This past weekend, she posts again for the heck of it I text her, no response. Today I text. 2 hours later no response. Then, I text from my other disposable / burner phone immediate response. Quick answers, even sent pics without my asking to confirm it was her theιjΰ vu. Asked if I wanted to dream, I said yes, but, she had to make things right. Texted back 'who's this. I told her of the scenario I dreamt and she must have remembered the same dream. No responses again.
Gents dreams become nightmares, this one is playing games and will cash-and-dash. Again, I knew better, should have woken up, but I kept my eyes closed. Messed up.
Thought others may be tempted to dream this way and should know.

I had that happen a few to many times, believe me I don't make it a habit. The last time with a girl in Indy that I seen a few times. It would be nice to add that this incident happened eight to ten years ago when I was fairly new to the hobby. We have seen each other since this post and I think we had a great time! It would be very nice and helpful to confirm this as I asked you to write a review and it must have slipped your mind. But I believe we had a very nice appointment in the comfort of my home.
