That "are you a cop? 'cause you got to tell me if you're a cop" is a myth perpetuated by TV and movies. If they're working undercover, not, they do NOT have to tell you they're a cop. However, if they identify themselves as a cop, and you ask to see their badge, then they should have no problem producing it. In fact, I would go one step further and ask to see their state-issued I'd. At least the only thing this guy got hurt was his pride.

I was at Travelodge to set up an appointment today and just kinda hung out since they wanted a 20 min heads up. Well, they have forms to sign up for food stamps (takes awhile to process those forms) and job placement services (takes time to apply get a job then work and get your first minimum wage paycheck) She went right back out because she need food and a place to stay now not in a couple of months. But they don't write that in the article.

B.You also have to remember that 2024 will be an election year! This includes a lot of the state AGs and other people connected with "public safety"! So it's time to ramp things up and get their great press concerning their war on these evil traffickers! Don't get me wrong, no woman (or man for that matter) should EVER be forced in the life. Especially minors! But you really hear very little about it for the other three years of the political cycle. I agree 100%, it's pretty much all lip service till they either get elected or lose! Then it will be back to business as usual! But absolutely be a little extra cautious till the great crusade calms back down for another 3 years!
