Time to brush the dust off this thread!
Well Lake County is on board trying to rid the country of our hobby. They participated in the "National Johns Suppression" operation and got nine guys the past few weeks.

On January 13th and February 9th, 2017 the Lake County Sheriff’s Gang Task Force went undercover, arresting nine men in a continued campaign to suppress the demand for purchased sex.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Gang Task Force joined a coalition of federal and local law enforcement agencies in a nationwide operation which specifically targeted customers of prostitutes known as “Johns.”
This two-day movement was a web-based operation and utilized a classified advertising website which is regularly used as a medium for prostitution. When the “Johns” arrived and offered money to the undercover detectives for sexual acts, they were arrested and transported to the Lake County Jail.If you read the comments on their Facebook post you'll see why they keep doing this. It's free positive publicity, plus they're going to make some money off the hobbyists in the way of hefty fines.

Sheriff Curran reminds the public the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
This quote from the article says it all about how how anyone caught will be treated. Sounds fairly biased, but I guess that's his job. Free publicity, yet they only caught a handful of Johns. The last time this happened they were all given fines and had their record screwed up. However, most of the fines didn't justify the use of manpower.

I know that I preach my rules, but always on BP remember that if you haven't seen the add before, wait until you see it again. Multiple adds you've never seen before is a red flag to stay away. Lake County does this a few times a year. They always have pics of smoking hot women, and I wouldn't be surprised that multiple adds with multiple pics have the same or similar phone numbers, it it feels weird walk away.
In regard to trafficking, it's hard to detect trafficking when LEO holds up at the same place and doesn't go looking for those being trafficked. I'm going to guess that since it was all done at same location, they were too busy to actually help the girls who may be in too deep. Once in my years of mongering did I feel that the girl was being trafficked. That's one for more than 10 years. Most have bill issues, kid issues, job issues. One told me that she liked nice things and could afford them this way, because a full time job paid less than offering services a few days a week. Not one comment about the girls being helped. All tax payers should have issues with that. Of course I also have issues with the names of all of the alleged johns being released in the article, since they haven't been to court yet and are innocent until proven guilty.

I think the target area is between here and Kenosha and Racine county's. There has been a couple guys trying to get women in there cars and / or recruiting in this area and LEO thinks it's a high traffic area.

If these law enforcement agencies would actually target human trafficking vs human nature, perhaps they might have a positive impact on humanity. They had to re-brand their perpetual crusade to regain public support. Sadly most of the media buys it and doesn't question or do any actual research. Reason is one of the few who caught on to the game.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the idea of trafficking and women being forced into the game, but I don't think I've seen any that are being forced into this by trafficers, most just are looking to get money, without having a regular job.

Just need a little to float a car payment etc, they've been some of my favorites, since they get more into it and have less mileage. They're the ones who pop up a few times a year.
Just like sex, and getting paid for it is even better.
So I just jumped on SKG to see how many adds there are at this moment, just in Waukegan not even all of Lake Co, keeping in mind that many are fake ones to get cc info, and there are 24 adds from yesterday, and currently 15 for today. They rescued 5 in two years.
DISCLAIMER, NOT A MATHMATICIAN.
At approximately 20 adds per day = 7300 per year so call it 14000 for two.
The percentage of women saved is 0. 00035, and this is based on Waukegan STG only. Not counting SW, other sites / locations.
These guys are simply doing this to get some positive media coverage. This should be unacceptable to the taxpayers.

This was a typical sting. They posed as prostitutes and arrested the johns. The fact that they added "trafficking" in the press release is very misleading. There was no mention that they posed as underage of some other victim and the arrest charges bear that out.
Read the comments on the Lake and McHenry Scanner FB page. There's a couple of wackos that say lock them up, just because. Those are the people LE plays to. Thankfully there seemed to be more intelligent people who commented that it's a waste of time and money.
Things to think about come election time.
They do it every summer. It never fails. If they don't convince the public that human trafficking is a real thing in the US then how else do they justify the money used to enforce the draconian laws?

The 22 ed gurnee police did a sting and busted girls. Not sure how many but I know one and her and her gf both got busted and today the cases showed up on the courts public access for court dates etc they were at one of the motels by the olive garden. No news reports on this one so far anyway.

So, no worries, everything will be back to normal soon.

Like today I see a provider from Wisconsin, is in chicago right now. In the time I been mongering I never seen her post in chicago. This Xinrui Zhao works somewhere in northbrook but they didn't say the name of the place. On another note in waukegan, they took the massage sign down at the old Heaven and they're revamping that old strip mall. So these massage places keep losing towns to operate in. They make money like crazy, why not just get trained girls licensed and meet all of mundelein's rules? At least us mongers would get a better massage out of it.

To the best of my knowledge this course is only offered in English. So how many AMP girl's do you know that could actually obtain a real license? This pile of shit state is always crying broke. They have now legalized marijuana and sports gambling. It's about time that they wake up and legalize the old rub 'and' tug. She already has 400 hours and says there are about 10 AMP girls in her class who all want to open their own places after they get licensed. I've seen her books and it doesn't look easy. Once they all start doing this I'm sure they will charge more.
Sometimes I even let her practice on me lol.

Most of the time around here they place fake adds for their "day without johns" where client come to them. I doubt they would do an Uber check, they would likely need a warrant to access the drivers phone (not to say a driver wouldn't just give it to them. Could I sue Uber then? Then cross check you. Too much work, this is a publicity stunt. On the Rockford forum it looks like they're coming down hard on hobbiests. They need probable cause to get you. Taking an uber one day shouldn't raise flags, but multiple trips within a month could be an issue. Plus once the heat dies down both Wauk and Rock LEO might get back to the drug and violence issues.

That there would be liability for the municipality for allowing a licensed business they know is offering sex to customers to operate without warning those entering. All they can prove is one paid for a massage and then succumbed to advances from the therapist as any man may. The therapists can't be police agents as they are performing illegal acts which is entrapment. I cannot envision any other way this can be happening unless they are gathering license plate information and people are confessing which would make for a very weak case with no further evidence.

Guys don't want the attention, their wives, neighbors, kids, etc.
Guys don't want to get arrested, their business or job could depend on it.
Regular guys aren't Robert Kraft so we can't all buy our way out.
Face it, the average monger is LEO's best play, so that's who they target, the press makes it seem as though they are on top of thngs.
But, until legislation changes in favor of legalization, mongers must rely.
On common sense and and a little bit of luck.
The notion that sex is legislated, outlawed, perceived as a societal "no no" and the lengths that LEO will go to to ruin a mongers' life just boggle my mind.
