PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — One person was shot in the head early Monday while at a popular strip club in Peoria.

According to Peoria police, the victim and another person were both inside Big Al's Gentleman's Club, located near the CityLink Downtown bus station, at around 3 am When the shooting happened.

Both victims — their names, ages or genders were not immediately known — were taken to OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center. As of 8 am, there was no word on their condition.

Peoria Police are still investigating the incident. We will continue to update you as this story develops.
