But my point is that if you feel anything odd about one of your testicles you should go to your doctor IMMEDIATELY. If caught in time the cancer won't have escaped into your lymphatic system and that should be that. But the time frame can be days or even hours after you notice a symptom.

Now I don't get the impression that most of you guys are not at risk since it strikes in a pretty specific age range of about 12-35, and I was 34 when I got it. But I'm sure some of you have sons between those ages and it is very important that they be aware of this. While I can't imagine being unaware of what's going on in my own pants, if your kid or anyone asks what to do just tell them to pay a little attention when soaping their junk in the shower or adjusting their underwear. If there are ever any changes in size, shape, firmness or pain then they should see a urologist ASAP. That's it, really.

After I recovered from the surgery, I was back feeling horny again in a week or so and able to enjoy sex within a few months.
