As I reflect back on what happened, there were many signs that should have tipped me off as to what was going on. But, live and learn. And now I know this scam and will not fall for it.
First off, she is TGTBT.

Thirdly, when she called back the first time, she said she was with someone else. I have never heard a provider say she was with someone else!

Now, this peaked my interest and a little warning light went off in my head, but the little head, as he has done from time to time, over-ruled the big head. I get the gift card and I drive to the hotel. This is where I should have KNOWN that it was a ripoff, but I was too stupid. She had me read the code off the back; now I cannot return the card. I went to the room, and it was empty.
