Not just weapon training. In my case I never shot a pistol but perhaps six times in my life mostly as a kid under supervision but quite a long time went since that and honestly I didny know nor care if I ever hit a target. To me a gun just lost its utility in the scenarios I played out in my mind.
This time, however, just by chance I found with expert instruction I took to shooting with ease of a zen master. I draw out my own particular possible scenarios and still keep the weapons in proximity just as you would any other tool, I. E. When you might need it I know I can get to it. Unlike LEO I don't need it cocked and ready to draw in an instant.
The fact is if an LEO type isn't at the range as prescribed there exist a strong assumption he isn't rehearsing many other possibilities he may encounter. This is why in zen they warn even the highly trained swordsman to be most wary of an untrained fighter because you just never saw that one coming. Same as prize fighters last thing is a street fight.

The FBI launched a coordinated effort in 57 cities across the USA with local law enforcement to stop teenage prostitution. While Tampa is not specifically mentioned I am 100% sure it was on the list with the RNC coming to town and all.
