Let me give you some background, I spent 1 year in Kuwait in the 1st Gulf War, and 1 year in the 2nd Gulf War. I was a Military Contractor in Afghanistan but didn't make it to Iraq. I used to live and thrive in and for combat. Most of us that spent time in Combat are not talked about, only the ones that did not come home, or were injured or came down with PTSD. I do not have PTSD as an example, fireworks make me sleep like a baby. Very soothing. But with that said, I lost a lot of brothers whether they lost their lives or not. Up until a couple years ago, I taught Combat Weapons Training to LE in the Tampa Bay area at a nonspecified outdoor shooting range in the Pinellas area. I am not a cop, nor even associate with them. But the point of all that is, I have the means and the training to get myself out of most inopportune circumstances that I may put myself in.
Again, I don't always do the mongering for the putty tat. I do it for the thrill as well. So to quit because of a few circumstances that would appear to be beyond someone elses comfort zone, in all actuality is still in my comfort zone. I post to educate others, I could stop posting, and just read and take in the information that I need and fuck everyone else. There are traveler's hotel door locks. They're pretty cheap to buy and small and light to carry. That way if the hotel latch lock is gone you can use your own and they install in seconds. The intruders will be surprised when the door doesn't open and you'll get a heads up. After your story I'm thinking about getting one for hotel incalls myself.

About 50 years ago (yeah, I'm an old bat!) I was very well trained beginning at Parris Island, SC; but also a number of other places. My Rambo days are long gone, but my time with 2nd Force Recon in Vietnam made me extremely tactically ready! It really taught me the art of not being ambushed because you took proper precautions in the first place and didn't miss little details!!
I don't know the qualifications of JC, but if he in fact taught tactics here in Tampa Bay to deputies; he'll be familiar with now retired Deputy B J Lyons?? Billie Lyons taught tactics to new and seasoned deputies for about 20 years and was a legend!

Last I checked the Florida Statutes, there is no law prohibiting someone from compensating a woman for her time.

ErosGuide is another reasonably decent site relative to scamming but it's also very high priced (at least IMHO) and I've had a hard time getting anything uncovered from those girls (e. G. BBBJ).
