SARASOTA (FOX 13) -
Police in Sarasota are taking an unusual step to curb prostitution, sending out warning letters to homes and businesses in their area. *
The letters are penned to the owners of registered vehicles that were in the area at the time prostitution was suspected of taking place.
"Your vehicle was observed on (this date) at an area within the city limits of Sarasota known for prostitution related crimes,"*a sample of the letter states. "The driver or occupant of your vehicle engaged in conversation with either: (1) a known prostitute (an individual who has been previously convicted of a violation of Florida States 796.07) or (2) an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a prostitute."
It's unclear how the letter is addressed when it arrives. Sarasota police emphasize that the letters are "not an accusatory letter," rather a way of alerting families or businesses of what happened.
Police say the letters are not coming with any charges. *
Authorities say they're trying to change the reputation of some areas in Sarasota through the letters, and they hope these letters help.

Had a dream not too long ago on a Sunday on 41 when I picked up a nice petite burnette. She took me back to her place and for only .30 she gave a great blow job. When I tried to hook up with her again the motel desk clerk informed me she got busted for prostitution. She was trying to make a living and even Sarasota law enforcement members are critical of this policy for the following reasons. I talked with a member of law enforcement in town who is disgusted with high end hotels along 41 such as the Ritz Carltn, Hyatt, hotel indigo who complain to the cops about streetwalkers yet these same hotels refuse to cooperate in investigations involving high priced eros escorts who they know have frequent clientel in the hotel. The cop made a great point: If all prostitution isn't prosecuted the same way why does the patrons who use eros high priced escorts be exempt from criminal charges because they are sufficiently powerful & rich enough?

Who knows. I think this is the place that was on the news for a guy calling the police for some reason. They may not have even held a sting had it not been for this guy calling the LEO.
Mamasan has been charged five times since Oct. 7, 2022, for different charges at Calla Massage, located at 2191 Tamiami Trail, Unit B, in Port Charlotte. According to the report, she has been charged with crimes such as battery on customers, engaging in prostitution, unlicensed activity, and another charge of engaging commit offer lewdness 1st offense. Nevertheless, this always makes me extra cautious. When I decide to make a trip to a parlor I circle around aa few times, check the area for unmarked LEO and vans. Be cautious!

I think to be fair to Deanna, it should be noted that she hasn't been at the Super on W. Main for at least five years, in fact I think it might be six years. I have stayed well clear of the spas on popos radar since May. MokA is definitely on the list to avoid. I would still be cautious at any of the spas. Circle before you land and if possible take your evidence with you. Don't use the ATM or pay via credit card at any spa.

Always curious what the "complaints of sexual services being offered" originate from.Undercover LEO goes in I'm suspecting and their own complaints based on their experience in a specific AMP.
So the Homeland Security Investigations is more concerned about this minor detail adult stuff between two people when there are about lots of thefts going on in this country in retail stores in big cities like San Francisco with people just walking in and looting with police doing nothing about that! Outrageous! BTW a 7.8 Billion dollar business stealing! Where is the Homeland Security Investigations on that?

Only in America!I stopped there about 4 yrs ago for a drop dead gorgeous chick hanging outside and asked her if she needed a ride. She refused and tried to get me to go into the Flamingo. Said no, just thought you needed a ride and left. Few days later saw the busts appearing in the local paper. They're not catching criminal masterminds.
