Out of the (literally) 1,000's I've interacted with (SW's), maybe only a handful did not have a habit, and were actually supporting themselves and their family by walking. Ones without habits that actually CHOOSE "sex worker" as a trade (and weren't forced into it) are doing high-end escort (at best) or stripping / backpage. The complete lack of "sexual morality" these days, has young girls seeing their pussies as a cash register.
Probably 90% or more of women I've talked to in the last 40 years, have CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE as the "demon" they run from with drugs. Add all the other horrors of being a street addict / walker, and it's no surprise why a great majority of them never get clean.
Can't judge unless you've "walked a mile in their flipflops" (pardon the pun). "Judge not, lest ye be judged", as the old saying goes.
OTOH. I know a whole bunch that have gotten off the drugs, stopped going to jail, stopped getting raped, robbed and beat up. Some of them stay in the sex trade (stripper, escort, backpage), because their lack of "other skills" and criminal history make working in a phone room or flipping burgers their only career options after the street. They walk home from a min-wage job, and every car that goes by and honks can be more $$ in 10 minutes, than they made ALL DAY. I have THE GREATEST ADMIRATION for girls that get clean and get out of the trade. I don't know that I ever could, if I ever sunk that low. And the longer they stay out there, the less likely they'll ever get right. Beatdowns, rape, jail. All become "the cost of doing business" (and staying high).
I've taken so many to BARC, I have a reserved parking spot there. Too bad it isn't like "the old days", where I could call a "program insider" there, and get them a bed right away.
I could probably write a book on this. It'll certainly be a chapter or two in my "memoirs".

" And as I was pulling away they ambushed me with guns drawn as if I just had murdered some one. After tearing up my car and wallet inside out, they couldn't even scrape up a dollar in change. So long story short, hired a lawyer charges dropped. But I still had to deal with the horrible night with society's outcast, towing expenses, lawyer's fee, online arrest record, and profession consequences that cannot be remedied. So I, unlike you, lost all respect, actually hate all f*ing pigs. Just like all of them think that everyone they come across is a criminal or thinking of committing something illegal, I too think that ALL of them just care about their rep and the next notch on their belt.
