I've been thinking / saying this shit for a long time. These dating websites are being hacked, the hackers are actually the site owners just like Norton anti-virus software as and example (bit off topic but relevant to my point) Norton an McAfee anti-virus are the same ones who keep hacking their own software and then marketing a new version of the anti-crap to protect us. Personally I use Ad Vast for now, but they still will probably be bought out.

I believe there is not much to gain off of hacking these sites, it may expose a few married guys with money who may pay to keep their name clean, or maybe get a few CC numbers that are soon to be cancelled which are most likely green dot cards anyway, which may be still somewhat safe, and what does safe mean and what are you capable of paying to be safe, from your job, your family, your wife and kids. Exposing Johns website, easy (winner winner) great idea, profitable I'm sure.

I'm thinking TER, Date Check, P411. I've been a member of all of them. These sites have our true identity, I don't believe for a second that they purge our information. I had P411 call my place of employment four days in a row looking to speak with me. I did not realize registration would happen the same day and so fast and so persistent.

I'm sure that there is a site, or will be one that will take up the slack, the market is still there, so it's going to go somewhere. I'm really kicking myself for not doing a better job of collecting contact information and storing it offline. The handwriting was on the wall as soon as BP made their changes late last year, and even earlier when the escorts section of Craigslist went away.

I didn't expect it to happen so fast in the end though. Nightshift is gone too. I'll be spending some time out in CA this summer and Nightshift was THE site for CA. Guess I'll have to work a little harder while I'm out there.
