She gave me a menu of services provided and that was it. It was dark as a tomb in there.
About 20 girls came out for the lineup and the quality was mediocre, at best. The girls were so fat and ugly that I wanted to tell the madame that I was going to pass. I didn't, because I was afraid something may happen to me. I was literally, trapped in there. The last girl was OK-enough looking, so I picked her. We went back to her "bedroom," which was the size of a broom closet. It didn't even have a bed, just a couch looking thig to do the deed. She was pleasant to talk to and a decent lay. She told me about their life there. They must go to every single lineup, no matter what time it is. They sleep when they can. No TV, no newspapers, or even magazines. They work three weeks on and one week off. They sign a six month contract with the brothel that is extremely binding for the girls. They pay top dollar to rent the room and they must buy their meals from the brothel. Also, half of what they make goes back to the brothel too. They are checked out for STD's by a doctor once a week. They pay for it. All in all, a tough lifestyle for the girls.
It was also quite expensive. I paid $$ plus tip for FS. This was in the mid-nineties.
So that was my experience with a Nevada brothel.

The RTFF sentiment should be applied in all matters including brothels. Luckily, way before I moved to Vegas, I took a trip to a few brothels while out on a business trip and:
1. The two places I visited were not horrid compounds. In fact, I was a Sheri's Ranch last week and it's just a bit off the beaten path in Pahrump. It has a phenomenal sports bar that locals peruse, and they even offer an overnight hotel on site. I've gone there and I had a blast without even partying with a provider.
2. Many guys here in the forum would like to be able to make choices. I. e. , a lineup. Most longtime mongers have experienced that anxiety of standing at a doorway and not knowing what the hell is going to be behind the door.
3. Everything is indeed safe at the brothels. For those who like that type of thing, it's right up your alley. They even get the girls tested on a routine basis. There is YMMV in that regard. They protect themselves in every single encounter.
4. Some parties are expensive. But the entire hobby is! I have had parties with pornstars at chicken ranch for as little as $250. In a safe, legal environment where I knew I could walk to my car still a free man after it's over. I have had crappy Eros providers for ten times as much, with the risk of incarceration after it was over. There is also no crazed pimp or boyfriend kicking in the door. There is no green dot scam, no ROB, no bait and switch, no vice squad sting, no underage, no bad part of town or sketchy hotel! Safety is worth the price. That's why I buy car insurance even though I have not wrecked in 60 years of driving.
5. YMMV, but luck favors the prepared. If you do your research ahead of time, and make sure you know what you're paying for, a legal NV brothel can be the time of your life. Don't go to the places that are compound-like. Don't go to the places with bad ratings. Look at the girls on the website that you want to party with beforehand and book them specifically. Maybe you want a hot tub party or a dungeon party? Book that in advance. It can be a fun time.
I suggest you take more than my advice, more than Vinos and more than C3's and do your own research. Give it a try and make your own determination after you know what you're getting into before you go. BTW: drive yourself! Limos and taxis cost the brothel and they add that cost to your party. Chill in the bar and mingle. The girls join you and you can avoid the lineup. You can get to know a girl without the awkward first conversation in the room.

C3.Please keep in mind that my OP wasn't meant to be a detailed outline of what Nevada does in regards to prostitution, only that it is legal in that State. And yes, you're absolutely correct, it is NOT legal in Las Vegas, or, more accurately, in Clark County where Las Vegas is located. As I recall, Nevada bases the law on population, if the county has more than some number of citizens (I believe the cut-off is 700,000), then it is not legal for prostitution to exist in that county. When I was last in Vegas a few years back, there was a ton of advertisements for prostitution though, like most other places where it is not legal, it's couched as massages, escort services or private erotic dances. While there, I also visited one of the legal brothels. While not a great experience, it wasn't bad either. I don't recall the name of the brothel, it was a drive from Vegas, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, there were about a dozen ladies working, some were fairly attractive, others not so much and, from what I recall, more expensive than most of the providers in our area. One could argue that there's some "value" to it being legal and regulated, you don't need to be at all concerned about being arrested and, with being tested regularly, the chances of any STD are rather low.

A Colorado woman was arrested in Tampa over prostitution related charges. Seems she and an Isreali man ran a "high end" prostitution ring. While pointing this out may skew the results, I'm curious as to which will get more attention, the arrest and the allegations that led to the arrest or the fees the escorts were charging. I assume that you are at la Torre del Reloj now. Save me some of these pawgs. I am going back again in August and am thinking to stay closer to the tower instead of Bocagrande. I have read everyone's opinion and you all have valid points. Your reality and your experience is your own. I do want to set the record straight that it's not a multi-hour Drive from LV to the nearest brothels. Sheri's and the Chicken Ranch are 45 minutes fro the strip. Indeed not in Clark county.

With Swine and Bird flu, that period of time when a person might have transmitted the disease was measured in days and almost always accompanied by symptoms; it made it much easier for health care officials to track and quarantine both those who were infected and those who came in contact with the infected. Between the way it spreads and the lack of tests, COVID is almost impossible to get out in front of like that. Option 2 assumes that you are isolating everyone who may have come in contact with someone who is infected. With COVID that's everyone in the country, because until we can test everyone there is no way of knowing who has it and who doesn't. COVID is also different from Swine Flu because COVID appears to survive a relatively long time on surfaces and different from Bird FLu because Bird Flu very rarely transfers human to human.
So basically door number 1 would give us door number 2 PLUS the added bonus of millions dead instead of thousands, which is probably what we are looking at right now, if we are lucky. And, of course, it's the trafficking cases that get everyone worked up, prosecutors too. I suspect we all agree that those trafficking in humans ought to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. While it's a generalization, hugely sting operations for mongers go hand-in-hand with sting operations for prostitutes, if you stop doing one, you're likely to stop doing the other. Care to name those states that successfully sued? Have you compared the list to the states that were laughed out of court?I don't study this issue, don't claim to be an expert. What I do know is that approx. 26 states have announced that they will stop the extra Federal payments. At least two, Maryland and Indiana have already been successfully sued to at least temporarily prevent them from stopping the payments. Indiana stopped the extra payments on June 19th but is now gearing up to restart the payments after losing 2 court challenges. The Indiana case is expected to go to the Indiana Supreme Court. Indiana is pretty conservative so if you can lose there you can lose in other states. There is also a case in Texas but I am not sure what its issues are or the current status. Opinion, other lawsuits are likely to follow if they haven't already. On the other hand, some states are offering bonuses to get your butt back to work. As far as States being laughed out of court, I am not aware of that list. But if they were laughed out of court wouldn't that mean they lost?

Took anyone holding or with warrants to jail and condemned the house.
They were there specifically for one person, the owner, who wasn't there.
This had to take months of planning a coordinated attack.
And they do it when the principle is not there.
It's easy to tell when he is there. It took me three times going to figure it out and I wasn't paying attention the first two.
Anyway they conned him into coming and got him for sale and distribution of cocaine I believe.

Uncle LEO is not your friend and he is not to be trusted. If they have probable cause for an arrest, they'll make that arrest, regardless of what you do or do not tell them. Their general practice is to set up outside of an MP, wait for gentlemen to leave the establishment, follow them to look for a traffic violation (ANY violation) and then effectuate a traffic stop. Once they've done that, they'll then say they know where you were coming from and what goes on in that establishment and essentially try to intimidate you into saying something. They will then use the collected information to establish the basis for a search warrant related to that business. Just tell them to write your traffic citation so you can be on your way. It's all but a certainty that is what will happen, they'll write you a ticket and let you go. Also true in Florida that Uncle LEO won't use explicit photos, that would likely be considered entrapment and, as such, isn't used here. Always be careful in your actions and, of course, sites like this can be an invaluable source of information.

I can't understand how four managers could be arrested for this when she girl used a fake ID in order to fool them into thinking she was older.I have worked in this type industry for half my life. And judging from what I have read, regardless of whether the girl had a fake I'd or not, the simple fact that she did not have a city issued entertainment license is a problem. It is clear why she never attained one, she's underage and a fake I'd isn't going to get past the local government to get the license. This is really bad and that place will probably be shut down for the foreseeable future. Sloppy management and ownership.

Sox.That's true Redsox. May be a true turn-key takeover opportunity at that, they were painting the exterior from that light purple color to a bright white this past weekend. A shiny new finish on the outside and the same dank, sticky interior on the inside all ready for action. Plus that $20 VIP Parking on busy nights. LOL.
It appears she also worked at Cleo's. One of reports I was reading stated that the staff even helped promote her even more by posting provider ads for her using her dancing nickname.

No point in going to Orlando clubs and almost no point dancing there either. In Orlando, a while back a lady wanted to be a dancer here and I came along for the evening; she talked to people in a few clubs and was treated more formally than the hotties I brought to Cocoa Beach (BTW, in my experience; women working the front door will treat you like crap even if you're a regular when you bring women to work there.) Maybe they do require that here, but it wasn't mentioned; but they did discuss a formal audition that none of the managers had time for that evening (she was cute, nice butt; I was surprised they didn't simply get her on stage.).

So it isn't un-common for there to be different laws in different locations.

That's a bunch of BS.Reading the article, the majority of cause for cancer in this study (more than 70% of instances) was due to transmission of HPV. As we all know, risk of transmission of disease increases with sexual partners. So, if the majority of the instances were caused by a factor known to increase risk, it's a no brainer that that particular factor indicates increased risk. Where the study goes wrong is failing to account for the confounding factor of percentage of partners who are oral sex only.
Most people who have a "high" number of oral partners also have a high number of vaginal / anal partners. Vaginal / anal partners are significantly more likely to be the source of the HPV transmission (per the CDC). HPV can be contracted just through skin to skin contact. It doesn't even need an open wound.
The demographic most at risk are men who engage in oral sex with other men, per NYU, but it is also disproportionately affecting younger folks (ages 13-16) and they are the people most at risk as the disease has time to become ingrained and harder to treat.
Treatment is successful 80-90% of the time, so fortunately, it is one of the more curable forms of the big C.

The bill ended up "dying" so it can't come up again until next year but wonder if LEO is trying to make big busts to make a point in support of regulating / cracking down harder on AMPs in the state.
Hopefully the reps who pushed the bill will get distracted by something else next year or focus on other bills.
