(if you do not have separate logins, just disregard "logging in as her") Open Internet Explorer, Go to Settings. Then find Internet Options. Then in the box that opens, select "Security" from the tab at the top. Click on the round red circle entitled Restricted Sites, then click on Sites. In the top box that opens, type in www.exposingjohns.com and then select Add. The name should move into the box below. Click Close, Apply, OK.

Yes the site is up and if you research the site it gives us some answers about who may be turning guys in. When you ho yo the profiles you will find part of a text message sent by the guy. Some have the girls name in them. So what I know is girls using the named Veronica, Alejandrina, Carolyn, and Kasey have turned guys in. I would avoid any girls using those names or known to have used those names. Also another girl appears to be fluent in spanish. Hope this helps and also never text that os a no no.

Guys at first this freaked me out but really we have a bigger chance of showing up on LEO's arrest website or getting busted my our significant other than this little website causing us trouble. It's one tiny website in a sea of millions of websites. It reminds me of our nutty girl over in Cape coral a few years ago posting details on us at the bottom of her silly Web page. We may not be able to take the site down, but we CAN make it so our significant other (s) cannot access it. Assuming she goes on the internet using Internet Explorer, and assuming you are logged into your computer as her, do the following. (if you do not have separate logins, just disregard "logging in as her") Open Internet Explorer, Go to Settings. Then find Internet Options. Then in the box that opens, select "Security" from the tab at the top. Click on the round red circle entitled Restricted Sites, then click on Sites. In the top box that opens, type in www.exposingjohns.com and then select Add. The name should move into the box below. Click Close, Apply, OK.

Now try to view the site in Internet Explorer. It won't come in.

Of course, this will not help those that use Firefox or Chrome. And if you share a computer, obviously you will not be able to check the shitty site either. But its a start. And there IS a way to block your whole machine from connecting to the site. Those instructions are a little more complicated and I will post those separately, maybe tomorrow.If you want to block on all browsers, just edit the HOSTS file.

Anybody got some good workarounds? I just recently started using a google voice number which I hope does the trick. Any other options? This is really an ingenious scam but it's almost too easy. I feel like posting a fake ad now and getting some numbers just for the heck of it.I thought everybody knew the obvious one. Get a Tracfone or equivalent. They don't require you go give personal information. They ask for it, but if you look at the fine print when you register the phone, they don't require it. Just skip over that area, or enter a false name that you want to use. Then only use the phone for calls to girls you want to see. If you start getting annoying calls, throw it out and get another one. If you are smart, you won't use up that many minutes, and it can save you a lot of grief if the wrong person were to get your actual regular cell phone, business phone, or home phone. My tracfone only has about a dozen names on it, and these are my favorite contacts. It is about my third phone over the years. I have discarded the others because of girls that I did not want to see again that were burning up the phone.

I would not dream of ever using any other phone to call a gal. Even a gal I might want to date legitimately. I can always give them a real phone number later if I want to. I also have a gmail account that I can use if I want to send something to them, like a photo, or receive the same. And I only use it for that purpose. Again, if it were ever to be compromised, I would just abandon it. I also have setup temporary email accounts for questionable contacts, and never used them again in the contact turned out to be someone I did not want to see again.

The other thing is to avoid logging into the social networking sites with your real name and then searching for some girl you met on line. Set up a dummy Facebook or whatever account too. The last thing I want is for me real name and picture to pop up on their Facebook asking them if they want to be my 'friend' when they don't even know my real name. If I want to search out someone on Facebook to see what is really going on with them, I use a dummy Facebook account to do the searching. That damn Facebook has zero regards for privacy and thinks everyone wants to be 'friends' with everybody they have done a search on.
