VSIt's one thing to put yourself at risk. It's another thing to place a person at risk when they're dependent upon you to keep them from harm.

That was not my point, the guy did show abhorrent judgement, no question.
I just don't think anyone should be arrested or deserves to be arrested for prostitution. The religious right keeps it that way due to their magical mythological belief systems. Even in Germany where the people are taxed to support Catholicism prostitution is legal and controlled. There are very few Baptists, Nazarenes, Church of God, Mormons etc. There, so even though they are taxed to support it they don't let it get in the way of their recreation.

VSI have many memories from 3 and 4 years of age, most maybe all significant that influenced or taught me something, not many I admit. But one thing I wanted to mention, my parents and family are Europeans and I've lived there and used to be a citizen, re: religious right. Who I'm not particularly a fan of, but the religious right is not in power more so than those who cater to them. Still we've had four years of the left running the country and diddly squat has changed; problem with prostitution in USA is the perceptions of the street walkers, the pimps, the drugs and crime, diseases, etc, which motivates people against it especially the moral crusdaders and religious but not necessarily, when I lived in Jax I had hookers walking in front of my home and I proudly took part in ridding the area of the garbage, don't get me wrong I believe and support legalization and CONTROL / REGULATION, I'm not religious, but I don't want prostitutes and pimps on my swell area while I got family over; but it's not so much the religious right with the power than the police, legal entities, civil, state, federal governments profiting off its illegal status and they are infinitely more powerful than any white painted First Baptist Church of Shady Acres or Reverend Bubba McFuckles screaming from the pulpit. In Europe where it's regulated, I don't know if it's all countries BTW, the only people that know about it are those who seek it. Street walkers, pimps, diseases, etc. Are at such a minimum it's virtually non-existant it's not brought up or thought about even among the most religious / moral, though I only speak from the countries I've been in and lived.

My mistake. I saw the picture of a provider hanging on to the sign that said the 600 block of Ridgewood and thought thats were the LEOs were. Regardless the article was more about Chitwood stating it (prostitution arrests) ain't going to stop. All mongers beware.

From what it sounds like, the gov't assistance programs are probably some of the easiest to abuse. No one ever follows up on it to make sure people are using it right. Kind of sucks cause the people who actual NEED assistance get screwed by people like these. Until they start checking on this crap, it is never gonne get better.

From what it sounds like, the gov't assistance programs are probably some of the easiest to abuse. No one ever follows up on it to make sure people are using it right. Until they start checking on this crap, it is never gonne get better.I'm from daytona but work / live in alabama, just about everyone up here gets food stamps, or disability. All the kids I work with get food stamps and smoke and drink red bulls all day, pisses me off, sorry.
News is reporting that Polk County Sheriff's Dept made 92 arrests in three days. Arrested were both mongers and providers and all off Back Page. The top cop has an issue with BP apparently and is going after them. You got to believe he will be enlisting the help of other top cops in centeral Fla. It is an easy arrest, not to many of those arrested fight it in court getting a high convection rate / large fine and is great for their all important "stats". Just a word of warning to hobbyists and pros alike, be careful out there.
For those that don't know, the part of Polk county we are talking about is just west of Disney. While I live near there, I have not seen any of this in the papers. I suspect this is in the hotels around the theme parks. Here is how you stay safe. LISTEN TO THIS! When you walk into the chick's room walk straight toward her put your hands on her shoulders, pull her close and put your mouth to her ear and quietly say these words."I am not a cop, but I'm not sure about you. We are going to take each others clothes off and start having sex. Once we do that we can both be sure that neither of us is a cop. Then we will talk business". If she balks then turn around, tell her you are int the wrong room and run like hell. NEVER, EVER talk about sex or money until you are actually having sex. No cop can ever take off clothes or touch you or let us touch them. And particularly do not about sex AND money. In all cases the "john" was swarmed as soon as he entered the room by Polk Co's finest. There wasn't time for any verbal foreplay or negotiations indicating the POs had sufficient probable cause for an arrest (yea right!). Even if not, what "john" will argue in court? deltona woman arrested in **** prostitution investigation
a prostitution business that employed **** teenage runaways was busted when the ringleader was arrested thursday on a dozen felony charges. the volusia county sheriff’s office, working with the ice-brevard-volusia child exploitation task force, took 22-year-old devin xxxxxxx (dob: 1/22/92) into custody at her deltona home where the prostitution had taken place for at least the past four months. investigators had learned that xxxxxx solicited men using an on-line classifieds website. the men would meet xxxxxxx at her house and either pay to have sex acts performed by xxxxxx or sometimes a 16-year-old girl. however, xxxxx and some male associates would oftentimes rob the clients without performing any sex acts. a 17-year-old girl was also involved in the business, but it’s not believed that she performed any sex acts. in some cases, while the prostitution and robberies where taking place, a 2-year-old girl was present in the house.
the crimes revealed by the investigation resulted in a total of 13 charges – 12 felonies and 1 misdemeanor – for xxxxx: five counts of procuring a person under the age of 18 for prostitution, five counts of deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, unlawful use of a two-way communications device, child neglect and theft. xxxxxxx was booked into the volusia county branch jail in daytona beach.
investigators were alerted to the prostitution through tips provided by the north florida internet crimes against children task force that multiple advertisements on a classifieds website contained pictures of what appeared to be **** girls. traced back to xxxxx, the ads lured potential customers in with phrases like “hey fellas ready to have the night you’ve always dreamed of?” and “we aim 2 tease, please & satisfy.”
then a teen who was reported missing by her family in early march was recovered a couple of weeks later. when investigators interviewed her about where she had been, the 16-year-old said she had stayed at xxxx’s house where both juvenile and adult prostitution took place. while there she also had access to drugs and alcohol. through interviews with the girl, investigators learned that her 17-year-old friend was living in a room in xxxxx’s house and had invited the 16-year-old to stay with her temporarily. the 17-year-old said she was initially going to live at miller’s house in exchange for cleaning the place and taking care of a 2-year-old girl. but once the 16-year-old moved in, xxxxxx then explained to them that she earned money by having sex with men and if she didn’t want to have sex with any of them, she simply robbed them. xxxxx told the girls that she made thousands of dollars a week with about five customers a day. xxxx asked if the girls wanted to make money doing the same thing. she then created online advertisements for them.
men who responded to the ads traveled to xxxx’s house on blaine circle. they paid xxxxx at the door and then went inside to hang out with the teens. the first few times this happened, the teens didn’t engage in any sex acts. instead, xxxxx would have some male friends chase the customers away without a refund. on some occasions, the friends would rob the customers at gunpoint, taking any additional money the customers had on them. however, the 16-year-old said that three times she did perform a sex act on customers and two other times the customer attempted to sexually batter her. xxxxx paid the teen a portion of the customers’ fees. the 17-year-old told investigators that she was present for the robberies of her customers but she never engaged in any sex acts.

Careful this weekend guys.We all knew it was coming, according to my source it was four, but I only searched for females. And now that I've searched on males, yes one of them was a male, looking mighty female. I think I saw that one being discussed RE: a backpage listing.
Last night on the 1100 news they had video footage of some of these girls. The blond was in a hotel room cuffed on a bed saying how she knew the guy was a cop. So much for listening to her instincts. The longer haired brunette was shown also, standing further from the camera and in less detail.
The positives from this are free advertising and now hobbyists know these girls arent LEO, altho there is the possibility now of them being under their thumb as part of a plea deal.
I'm curious what the cops do with the cell phones. Go through them and copy numbers and info they find appealing is my guess, despite the recent ruling by the supreme court on cellphone privacy. A good reason to always use a drop phone.

I have been in DB more than a year. I have been swan hunting everywhere, even in the scary. I followed every bread crumb on the boards and got nothing. You know, I had a conversation with this girl a while back. She had this method (albeit, strange) of things she would do before she saw clients and I was trying to explain to her why it was a bad idea. So the conversation went back and forth for some time and it consisted of her being a smarty pants and finally, I just stopped dealing with her. I always try to throw these ladies a bone of advice telling them they don't need to get into pissing contest with these clients because some of them are nutty. I tell them how vulnerable they are and that they need to politely hang up the phone or end communication because otherwise, even if they (escort) recognize the number of someone they've had a verbal altercation with, that person can still use another number or even their buddies as a decoy. But as you guys can imagine, these girls have all the sense in the world and PhDs to boot and they won't pay you any attention because they know it all. I'm not saying bad things like this should have happened to any lady but by the conversation I had with her, I knew she was bound to interact with the wrong person and possibly meet her demise and she did. I can't tell you how awful our communication was but not a very tasteful experience, tell you the truth.
Also, like the other poster said, BP will definitely be under LEOs scrutiny since now there have been 4 girls (3 deaths) attacked and harmed. Here again, I ask, is it worth it? With all the safety measures you think you're taking, there is technology out there you don't even know about and furthermore, with instances like this, you never know what kind of mistake you may make. I guess his biggest mistake was assuming he had gotten rid of both girls but one survived to tell the story. I knew it was her even before the news broke the story with her name. I keyed in Baymeadows in BP's search feature and looked back on what girls were staying in the area around the time of murder (the date) and her ad popped up and when I clicked on the link for her ad and saw her pix, I felt very strong it was her; again, because of our negative encounter. Very sad story!

Florida police busted 43 people for a slew of sex crimes, including child porn and targeting kids for sex, in a week-long sting during a giant motorcycle festival.
Volusia County Sheriffs organized "Operation PredaTour 2015" to coincide with Daytona's Bike Week because "pimps and johns alike are known to bring the illegal sex trade into the area for special events such as Bike Week. ".
"This is the worst of the worst," Sheriff Ben Johnson said in the statement. "When you're trying to deal with a child to have sex, and you're a grown man.
The department carried out two stings during six days of the fest. Twenty-two men were arrested for attempting to have sex with a minor during a child predator operation. Another 19 people were booked on prostitution charges in a second leg of the sting. Two more face child pornography charges.
The nearly week-long dual busts included the arrest of a former New Smyrna Beach police officer, Raymond Smith, FOX 35 reported. The 47-year-old was booked after deputies found child porn found on his work cell phone, authorities said.
The department organized the online predator leg of the tour by allowing deputies pose as 13- and 14-year-old girls on social media. They engaged with older men and talked about having sex. In one case, a predator commented, "I can get in big trouble playing with you," the department said.
When the men made arrangements to meet up with the girls for sex, they were told to go to a house in the area. Cops were waiting inside to arrest them.
The deputies ran a prostitution bust as well, with undercover cops posing as men looking for sex and prostitutes looking for customers.
Most of the charges were for human trafficking and solicitation to commit prostitution, but "a 37-year-old woman was charged with battery after she grabbed an undercover agent's crotch to try to ensure that he wasn't a law enforcement officer," the department said.

In a follow up article in the DBNJ about formal charges being filed against the DB city employee caught in a BP sting it was revealed that there was an additional female deputy also posting as part of the sting. The article stated that the poster involved in the take down of the city employee advertised as Summer and called for a "discrete and upscale gentleman" to come meet " Santa's best present". In searching past BP postings I can't find the ad referenced but I do remember seeing it. As I stated previously, this new aggressive action on the part of LE should be a warning to all mongers to use extreme care and caution when visiting an in call location of a SP.

What's most disturbing about this one is that it was a reverse sting. I'm not aware of such action on the part of a police agency ever before. During the 90's he was on the violent offender task force. If they had an operation approved for overtime and all, if the planned operation could not happen they would do a hooker round up. Movie theaters, Lingerie Shops, and MPs. He was there when PeeWee was arrested. The OT was approved but the person they were after was not where was supposed to be. Instead of sending everyone home they went out on the theater patrol.
