Based on an earlier review from this board, I saw Sydnee from the TW the other day.

Of course, when the shit starts coming around, it's a cause for alarm. It means an infection is beginning and a neighborhood infected with drug addicts, of which most street hookers suffer, is worrisome.

I live in a gated community and even my area is occasionally invaded by transient hookers and other deviants. It's really unnerving when one walks out the back door and finds some street gal taking a shit in your back yard. I've even found them taking fully clothed showers from my water hose.

Hey guys, relative newbie to the street scene (but not to the hobby). Thought I'd post a few observations.

Went out a couple weeks ago and again last night. Two weeks ago saw some reasonable sws off MM near the Circle K. Everytime I'd finally spot one and turn around to make a move someone else had stopped and picked them up. Guess I'm just too slow. Also saw one just off Stone near the low $ motel between Speedway and Drachman. She appeared to be with her pimp so I didn't stop. Spent better part of 3 hours cruising and checking things out - ultimately went home frustrated.

Last night was much worse. Started off on MM around 10 ish. A whole lot of LE action going on. Saw some poor guy pulled over (by two cars no less) near the Nevada bar. Cruised around for just over an hour between this area and Stone. Never saw a single girl that looked to be working. I did see one on the corner of Grant/Oracle (out in front of the Walgreens) that looked real promising. I slowed to take a better look and then noticed a patrol car following me! She then disappeared and I kept driving! He eventually passed me on Grant heading towards I10 but then stopped right in the middle of the street and turned on his flashing lights. I thought I was dead but another car pulled up next to him (also in the middle of the road) and they began to talk through the windows. I don't know if it was an unmarked unit or what - I split pretty fast. I counted no less than 15 cops in my short cruise. I saw another poor guy get pulled over at Stone/Drachman in the parking lot of the Whataburger. All in all a terrible night and still no relief for this poor newbie.

Have to agree. There is so little brothel action in Nogi, this could make that practicle. I was in smaller Agua Prieta recently, couldnt help but wonder why Nogi doesnt have the clubs for dancing, and boystown for bangin. I would guess many off us would visit both.

OK guys, I want to talk about something here...

You all know my frustrations about the horrendous lack of street action over the last few....hell, the last few years. However, there's something that gets me angrier then that even.

When the girl acts like she doesn't even see you.

Now, I've been doing this hobby for a few years now, and I believe I can judge with at least 95% accuracy whether or not a girl walking down the street is working. I consider such factors such as clothing, the way she's walking, whether or not she's is carrying anything and how much, whether or not she's alone, what part of the street she's walking on (shoulder, curb, sidewalk, off the street, etc). Which direction she's walking (either with or against traffic on the respective side of the street), and of course, what area of town we're in.

Now, tonight, I struck out yet again. I strike out roughly 8 times for every time I post about it. I mean how interesting is it to read me whining about striking out over and over again? But this girl-ignoring-me thing happened not once, but TWICE in the same night. I couldn't believe it. I park in a place where she is supposed to get in the car, but she keeps walking as if I weren't even there. Doesn't even look in my direction. Unbelievable.

Now my question for you guys is why do they do this?

I've thought about this on my own off and on for the last few years. I'll share some of my thoughts with you

-I considered that perhaps some sort of magic fairy dust was making my car invisible, and myself as well since I was in the invisible car, but then I remembered that cops can obviously see it because I keep getting speeding tickets. Plus I can see the car in my driveway right now, so I doubt very seriously that's it.

-I considered that perhaps that maybe they thought I was a cop, but I don't fit the profile. My car is very poor, and I am an overweight guy in his mid twenties and look it, so I doubt very seriously I could EVER be confused for a cop, so that's not it.

-I considered my own actions, but it's not like I'm slamming on the brakes in the middle of the street or anything...I am being as low-key and discreet as I possibly can

-I considered that other cops might be in the area and she was pretending not to see me to avoid an incident with onlooking law enforcement officers, but tonight with these two incidents I made it a point to look around thouroughly, and saw no cops in the area, so that excuse doesn't wash either.

-I considered that perhaps I have dated them before, and the remember our encounter negatively, but that's not it either with these two girls who ignored me tonight.

So, the only theory I'm left with is the following, and you can tell me if the theory has merit or not.

I'm thinking that because I'm "young", and my car looks poor, that women assume I don't have any money. Perhaps some streetwalkers will only get in the car with an older man driving a twon car or something similar. This theory doesn't make much sense, since I can afford the 50 bucks or whatever their services may cost, and that even a stupid businessperson can see that money is money no matter who it comes from, but as you can see from above, I'm running out of theories here.

What is really angering is that a few years ago I could just say "fuck you *****, there are plenty of other girls out here to choose from", but unfortunately, that is no longer true of Tucson. I often fantasizing of suing the prostitution industry for reimbursement for all the gas I've wasted looking for someone on one of my many "strike out" nights. Hey, people sued the tobacco industry, so why not?

Anyway, I would really like to hear from all of you on this issue. Does this happen to you also? Does it happen often? How do you handle it? Why do you think it happens? What can we all do to preventing it from happening again?

I remember you were having the same problem when I was there in Feb. I was driving a new rental (minivan), and basically did not get ignored. I'm a bit older (not grey yet) and overweight.

However, when in my sports car, I have had similar problems, usually until I get out of the car and they can see I could not qualify for PT. I had a few sw I connected with later tell me she thought I was a cop when I was riding around. Since you are young, I would guess they are thinking you are undercover LE.

Maybe there is a way to let them see you are overweight. Have you tried parking and approaching them on foot? Just be careful and wary of nearby males.

I think that everyone on this board has had the same frustrations that you expressed about SW. Some girls have told me that my hair was too short, my car was too clean (or dirty), I drove too fast (or too slow), I am too good looking (or too fat), I look like a cop (or some guy that beats up SW). One girl actually got in my car and THEN told me I matched the description of some serial killer in Tucson. I told her, "Lady, either you are wrong or very fucking stupid to get in my car."

IMHO most SW are strung out on drugs and their paranoid delusions take over their behavior. If the girl is good looking enough I will call to them or even get out of the car. However, this is a dangerous practice and stops you from being able to get out of there quickly.

My best advice is to save your money and visit established escorts. I know it's sounds boring or expensive and ruins the thrill of the hunt, but it is much safer. Good luck and be safe.

Plus I can see the car in my driveway right now, so I doubt very seriously that's it.

-I considered that perhaps that maybe they thought I was a cop, but I don't fit the profile. My car is very poor, and I am an overweight guy in his mid twenties and look it, so I doubt very seriously I could EVER be confused for a cop, so that's not it.

-I considered my own actions, but it's not like I'm slamming on the brakes in the middle of the street or anything...I am being as low-key and discreet as I possibly can

-I considered that other cops might be in the area and she was pretending not to see me to avoid an incident with onlooking law enforcement officers, but tonight with these two incidents I made it a point to look around thouroughly, and saw no cops in the area, so that excuse doesn't wash either.

-I considered that perhaps I have dated them before, and the remember our encounter negatively, but that's not it either with these two girls who ignored me tonight.

So, the only theory I'm left with is the following, and you can tell me if the theory has merit or not.

I'm thinking that because I'm "young", and my car looks poor, that women assume I don't have any money. This jibes with what I've seen though I've never partaken. Grant, Speedway, and St. Mary's between say I-10 and Main often have some hotties walking along that look like they're working. I don't know if any of you have noticed this, but the local media seems to do pretty good advertising of where to find prostitution. I succeeded south of Grant, slightly east of Oracle the other day, but I have to say that I saw a dozen others in the Oracle/MM area that weren't even close to up to par and almost gave up. I have recently concluded my employment at Raider's Reef, aka "The Boat", as a doorman. I never wanted to mention it before, as I wanted to protect my anonymity and my job, but now I don't give a shit, so I'll tell ya everything I know.

First off, much of the info on the Tucson Topless review is inaccurate. Cover is $4 after 6 PM, except on Sundays when there is no cover, and on $2 Tuesdays when cover, drinks, and shots are...you guessed it...$2. Drinks are normally $4.25, but this week is the week to get in there. The parking lot is all torn up with a repaving project, and the club is cutting customers a break on prices as a result.

Dances are $5 table dances, $10 VIP area, and Champagne Room dances are $15 each, after paying a $10 admission fee to the Champagne Room.

OK, here's the deal with the Curves "sister club" thing...The owners (there are five, what a mess) of Curves/Reef have divided the clubs into a major league/minor league kind of thing, with Curves being the majors and the Reef being the minors. The pretty girls who work out at the Reef get called up to Curves, and the ones at Curves who gain weight or get in trouble some how get knocked down to the Reef.

Here's the deal with the Reef...the Reef gets the girls that none of the other clubs want. This can work to your advantage however...the club is a little less pricey, and since the women are "second tier", they might be willing to do more with you.

Now for some insight into the inner workings of the Door staff there...any day until 6PM, there is only one doorman there...so your odds of getting away with something are increased. Sunday and Monday nights there are two doormen, but one is always working in the parking lot. In all honesty, we didn't check the VIP area or the Champagne Room all that often, but we did check it occasionally, so keep an eye open.

With the VIP parking, the club doesn't get any of that...that is split up evenly among the doormen. The dancers (most of them) don't appreciate what doormen do for them, so most of them don't tip at all. None of the waitresses ever remember the doormen, even though the doorman often helps the waitress get customers. The bar staff very very rarely remembers the doorstaff, even though the doorstaff does ALL of their bar backing. Even though there are a couple jerks on the doorstaff, for the most part they're a good group of guys who deserve better than what they're getting there, so if you go, park in the VIP lot, and if the doorguy is helpful to you, give him a buck or two. Trust me, no tip is too small...as I explained, the doorstaff rarely sees any tips, so most of them are sincerely grateful for anything they get. I personally was just as grateful for the fact that they appreciated me enough to tip as I was for the money.

Also, if there's a specific type of dancer you want, don't be afraid to ask the doormen. They're usually quite helpful, and can find you the type of girl you prefer, or at least something close to it. This way you don't have to hunt throughout the club

OK, now to the girls...the toughest part of the job is keeping all the girls names straight with faces...there must have been at least 75 girls on the roster there, but I'll tell you all I can remember.

Gina- I think you can get some action out of her. Rumor has it that she was recently fined by the management because she was caught giving a blowjob in the Champagne room. I guess this means that she's up for some "extra" activity.

Sasha-Reasonably attractive hispanic girl who gives the best dances I've ever seen. If her dances don't get you hard, check yourself for a pulse.

Liz-One of the few girls there with a good work ethic, she has a perfect body from the neck down. I heard she was getting called up to Curves, but she might still be at the boat for a week or so. Worth getting a dance or two

Candy-She won't do anything "extra" with you, but if you want a very sensual dance from someone who works out twice a day and her body shows that, this is the girl for you. The only thing on this girl better than her body is her personality. She is very cool

Toi (pronounced Toy). Total skank, waste of space. She looks like Manute Bol. Can't dance, and she's a *****. Stay away from this one. Don't waste your time or money.

Jade-Has a forehead you can show a movie on. This girl wears clothes to cover her stomach and for good reason. I don't know if she does "extra" things, but if she does, trust me, you don't want it. Yuck

Nina- Don't know too much about her, except she's not too hard on the eyes, and has a reasonable pleasant personality.

Bonita- smokes more weed than Cheech and Chong put together. She's kinda nasty looking, but I'm sure if you offer her some weed you can take her home.

Legend- don't know too much about her either, I've never seen her dance. But she is pleasant, and reasonably attractive

Skylor- I've heard nothing but good things about the way this girl dances.

Paige- Also a good dancer. I don't know if she does "extras", but it's possible. She is quite attractive. I'm not sure, but because she exceeded boat standards, I'm guessing she got sent down as punishment.

Isis-Stay away from this one. She has a very unpleasant personality, and her dances are bland and dull.

Magica-She's cool, and she gives good dances.

Danelle-If someone actually sees this girl dance, could you please let me know? She hangs out at the club all the time, but is mostly in her street clothes. I don't know how she makes any money at that place.

Kelly-quite attractive, and she was really nice to me, but she usually won't deal with you unless you want to take her into the Champagne room.

Jinx- Stay away. I don't know about her dances, but in the daylight she has spots or sores or something all over her. It's pretty gross...I think she works for money for more crank.

Michelle and Denise- They come in a set, always show up together, always leave together. They are considered by management to be among the best looking dancers there, so they are given full impunity. They have VERY unpleasant personalities, and are often in disputes with customers over something. Management always sides with these girls. My advice is resist their looks and stay the hell away. It ain't worth it.

Honey- nice girl, great dancer. Worth a try definately.

That's all I can think of at this moment, but I'll offer more opinions when I can remember more girls. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the boat, or the girls who work there, please don't hesitate to ask. In your question, please try to include the girl's stage name as well as a brief physical desription.

Another tip...unless you're a clean cut person who doesn't have your face peirced and your pants are pulled all the way up, the doorman will probably want to run your ID through the copy machine before giving it back to you. I always hated this policy, and I only did it once or twice during my time there, but if you look like a thug, or that you might be trouble, they'll want to copy your ID. If you don't want your ID copied for whatever reason, I recommend staying away from the club all together.

Also, if you get into a money dispute with a girl, the best way is to leave immediately before a manager can make it over. If you can't do that, sometimes a doorman will physically restrain you, depending on who's managing. They might threaten to call the police, but that's an idle threat 99% of the time, and the other 1% the cops won't show up. When we had fights there, it took the cops over half an hour to respond. If they take that long for a fight, imagine how long it takes for them to respond to a money dispute...

Your best bet for escaping a money dispute is to pretend that your card won't work in the ATM at the club, and that you need to go to Circle K and use their ATM. They'll send a doorman to escort you there and back, and once you get to Circle K, just run. The doorman probably won't run after you, and if he does, he probably won't catch you. If you do decide to run, they have no way of knowing which car is yours. Just come back for it sometime after 3AM, as all the employees are gone by that time.

Also, one last tip for now...if you're in a wheelchair, or are otherwise unable to do stairs, don't go to the club. While there is a handicapped accessible entrance, the restroom is down a flight of stairs, and it's the only one there. :(

Its been totally dead the last couple nights. I saw a few big time druggie SW. I saw a blonde that looked ok from far away but when she got close to the car I saw she was like 40 and ugly ugly face. Saw a lot of them last night (Sunday) between 8:30 and 10:30 P.M. in the following areas:

At the curve where Drachman turns into Oracle, I saw a couple of blondes at the bus stop immediately to the right. I am sorry to inform you that Tia is no longer working in Tucson. Of course, the ever expanding Missy is still overflowing on a massage table in the Old Pueblo.

Spent the Weekend in Tucson. Had mixed expereince in Nogales on Friday night. (see the review at the Nogales forum).

Saturday night called a couple of numbers from the Tucson Weekly because Diane was booked up through Monday AM.

Well I made it back to Tucson and here is my report.

Now I have noticed alot of cops around the area where Curves is located. When I was here last cops were there but not in the abundance t that I have seen since being back.
