Police Investigate Sexual Assaults of Female Escorts

Posted Thursday, December 5th 2013 at 7 am.

State police are investigating three incidents in which women may have been sexually assaulted after arranging online to met men at two Newark-area motels. Troopers say the victims, who have not been cooperating with their investigation, had advertised in the escorts section of a classifies website. Police say in all three incidents, two men armed with knives sexually assaulted the women.

OK, so was looking on line for confirmation of recent prostitution busts on MDA and found this article and video!

http://www.wect.com/story/31765938/the-life-who-is-buying-prostitutes

It is quite instructive as it shows what NOT to do when dating off of BP. Too many of "the rules" were violated!

Here is what I see.

1. Dude walks in the room and there are two ladies in there. BIG RED FLAG! Very few LE decoys will be alone as they could get injured before help could get there! Violation of Rule #16.

2. Then the genius guy actually recognizes one of the Undercover LE girls and says you look just like XYZ! The girl calmly says she is my sister and we are twins! Yeah, right, an LE twin sister is hooking off BP? Give yer head a shake dude! WAKE UP! Think with the Big Head and get the F out of there! It is laughable, he says out loud when I came in the room I said that is Agent XYZ sitting there and if so I am in big trouble! Jeez, dude, when you see that, beat feet out of there! This is just pure stupidity! Guy has ZERO Spidey senses and can't think on his feet for sh*t! Hope others aren't driven by the little head? If so it is time to back off, memorize the rules and take baby steps.

3. When the dude came in the room, he failed to put the safety chain on the door! See it on the right edge of the frame? Rule #18 Of course, read the text and they mention a dude that DID that and LE immediately broke the door down! But if he didn't mention sex for money, or put money out by that point, they have nothing on him and the video evidence to prove such! Oh unless he talked sex for money via text and carrier his cell phone in with him to the date!

4. Obviously he failed to do some recon of the motel as other Johns were staged in the p-lot and agents were in a nearby room so they had access to break the door down! Rule # 15.

5. He never did anything like a cop check, so putting money out or talking about what he wanted to do was idiocy ! Rule #19.

I dunno. Risk management! Learn here or the school of hard knocks!

Mongering looks easy, good, consistently safe mongering is anything but easy!

She posts SO many fake posts on backpage where she pretends to be a completely different girl. It's gotten so bad I stopped bothering with most providers that were hosting in Newark.

Indictment Shows Backpage Facilitated Prostitution, But its Shutdown Will Still Hurt Sex Workers

Samantha Cole
Apr 9 2018, 5:15pm

Friday, USA Law enforcement agencies seized Backpage.com, a classifieds website where people posted, among other things, ads for sexual services. Since 2004, when the site went online, it's been a lifeline for consensual sex workers as a place to vet clients and seek help from the community.

The Department of Justice unsealed the charges against Backpage on Monday: A 93-count indictment names seven people, including Backpage co-founders Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin. The indictment lists 50 instances where ads were alleged to have facilitated prostitution and also accuses Lacey and Larkin of money laundering. The full indictment can be found here.

Backpage was shut down soon after the passage of FOSTA, a bill passed last month that will make websites more liable for what users do and say on their platforms. Advocates for FOSTA held up Backpage as the poster-villain for why they claimed we need stronger anti-trafficking protection. Representative Mimi Walters, who supported the bill, applauded it for causing the shutdown on Twitter.

Sen. Kamala Harris, who's waged a years-long battle against Backpageshe brought felony pimping charges against Backpage CEO Carl Ferrer in 2017 and co-sponsored SESTAhas been silent on social media about the site's seizure.

But FOSTA isn't even law, yet: The president still needs to sign the bill, so Backpage was shut down without the statute in place.

The indictment against Backpage does not look good. It summarizes 17 experiences where alleged victims of trafficking passed through the site, and details email correspondences between Backpage staff about how to discuss escort services on the platform. Cosme Lopez, a spokesman for the USA Attorney's Office in Phoenix, told AZ Central that several of the victims were as young as 14 years old. But while Backpage was imperfect and had many flaws, sex workers say that it became critical to their businesses and their safety. Backpage wasn't good, but it was what they had to work with.

Canada-based sex worker at asbinvancity told me in Twitter direct messages that this bill is already impacting her work, even though she's living and working outside the US. Before Backpage's seizure, she was able to screen clients using it. Now, people ask her for services she doesn't provide, people with blocked phone numbers call her, and would-be clients try to reach her through various apps. "The predators are out and about trying to get {sex workers} to lower rates," she said. She has raised her rates to help weed out these clients.

Backpage was an imperfect solution to the problems facing the sex work industry, but for many workers, it was a life raftbeing able to vet clients and post one's own ads freed them from relying on abusive agents and clients. It was the kind of platform that workers warned would be destroyed in FOSTA's wake, and they were right: Even in the days and weeks following its passage in Congress, multiple sex work forums shut down their sites proactively, and even a few tangentially related forums did the same, including fringe-preference dating sites and the Craigslist personals section.

"The impact on sex workers has been immediate: people are pushed out into the street where they're at greater risk of violence, and they are afraid to seek help because their work is criminalized," Jessica Raven, executive director of DC-based advocacy group Collective Action for Safe Spaces (CASS), told me in a Twitter message. "For those who relied on websites to screen clients and engage in sex work, they've lost income that they needed to pay for housing. ".

Anyone have access & can post the full story? Or other reports or info?On August 8, 2019, officers from Newark Police Street Crimes Unit conducted a reverse prostitution sting targeting individuals attempting to patronize a prostitute.

Using various undercover investigative means, officers received contacts from approximately 60 different phone numbers looking to patronize a prostitute within several hours.

During the operation, officers arrested two males for patronizing a prostitute. Both subjects were released on Summonses.

Chief Tiernan has stated that prostitution is not a victimless crime. Often women involved are forced into the activity. Locations, where prostitution occurs, are also frequently the scene of violent crimes and drug use.

The information provided above is from a City of Newark administrative report.

Is it just me, or does this sound like a date gone bad?

Not a fan of car dates. Did it once in millville, NJ and the girl just looked too young so I took her home before doing anything.

By Josh and Jane Newark Post

Two people accused of gunning down a motorist in Glasgow last month were arrested Saturday night at a Walmart in Elkton, Md. , police said.

Sierra XYZ, 28, of Newark, and Charles ABC, 44, of Felton, were both charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. ABC was also charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited due to a previous violent felony conviction. Both were jailed after failing to post more than $1 million cash bond.

Not sure how one gets this as a car date gone bad? Could have been a robbery, car jacking or some other thing gone bad?

BUT if it were a date gone bad, it strongly suggests one use good OpSec when car dating. So, forgive me, another opportunity to step up on the soapbox and provide some "learning" for any newbies or lurkers.

So, as the rules state, I never go to a location the girl selects, I select the location and don't let her know where we are going. I try to maintain control by choosing the location. Also, I make some random turns and take an unusual path to "a spot" to watch and make certain no one is following.

I NEVER scoop a girl if there is some dude around, even Ashley when Paul is tagging along, she needs to separate before I'd scoop.

So IF this was a date gone bad, I suspect that with proper OpSec the whole thing could have been avoided. If that was the case, apparently the dude made some mistakes and paid with his life! Sad.

Like I always say, two ways to learn, "book learning" by reading rules and avoiding the mistakes others make / made, or "experiential learning" or making the mistakes on your own. Why would you risk your life because you refuse to learn from others?

Hey, mongering "looks" easy, but continued, successful and safe mongering is anything but easy.

Just saying.

WTF! Cash Bond? $1 mm Those two ain't going anywhere for a while. Even the Bondsmen want 30% on Cash Bond.

I actually saw her in February at the deluxe inn in Elkton. I never would have suspected something like this with her. She didn't even seem to be on drugs. Maybe the boyfriend was just super jealous and took it out on that unlucky young man. Could have been me or any of us that was seeing her.

Update- Suspects Arrested* Delaware State Police Investigating Homicide

Date Posted: Sunday, April 9th, 2023

Delaware State Police arrested Charles ABC, 44, of Felton, DE, and Sierra XYZ, 28, of Newark, DE for murder and related charges following an incident in March.

On March 19, 2023, at approximately 5:53 a.m., New Castle County Police Department responded to a possible traffic accident on Old County Road. When officers arrived, they located an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. An examination of the scene revealed that the shooting occurred near the 2400 block of Old County Road, which is within the jurisdiction of the Delaware State Police. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further investigation determined the victim pulled onto private property and was parked on Dolphin Drive with a female inside his car. A suspect then parked his vehicle behind the victims and approached him while in the drivers seat. The victim attempted to drive away but was shot by the suspect, causing him to crash into a wooded area. The passenger in the victims vehicle and the suspect then fled the scene together in the suspects vehicle.

Through investigative means, Charles ABC and Sierra XYZ were determined to be the suspects in the homicide. On April 7, 2023, warrants for the arrest of ABC and XYZ were obtained. On April 8, 2023, Charles ABC and Sierra XYZ were contacted in a vehicle in Elkton, Maryland by the Harford County SWAT members and members of the Cecil County Sheriffs Office. During the arrest, the suspects attempted to flee in their vehicle, but were quickly apprehended after crashing it inside a parking lot.

After being medically cleared from an area hospital the suspects were transported to Troop 2 where they were each charged with the following crimes:

Charles ABC

Murder 1stDegree (Felony)
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited with a Prior Violent Felony Conviction (Felony)
Conspiracy 2ndDegree (Felony)

ABC was arranged by the Justice of the Peace Court #11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $1,085,000 cash bond.

Sierra XYZ

Murder 1stDegree (Felony)
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
Conspiracy 2ndDegree (Felony)

XYZ was arranged by the Justice of the Peace Court #11 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Womens Correctional Institution on a $1,065,000 cash bond.

Delaware State Police Investigating Homicide

So sounds like ABC followed the victim and XYZ to where they were going to do a date. Either that OR he had GPS tracking of her phone.

So the OpSec things one could do in this situation:

1) Take measures to make sure you are not followed.

2) Ask the girl to turn her phone off until the date is over, or make sure she isn't texting your location to an accomplice.

3) NEVER park where you can't get away, don't box yourself in. Have seen quite a few reports where dudes think parking in a dead end street is a great idea, er until they get boxed in. Make sure you have ample room to get away if something goes down.

4) While you are doing a date, keep an awareness of your surroundings. One reason I hate car dates, as I am always looking around to see who is coming or not. Don't let anyone pull up on you!

5) Maybe this was a pre-arranged location that XYZ directed the victim to drive to for a date. That's one of the rules, NEVER go to the girl's spot because accomplice could be waiting or at least knows where to find you!

6) If you are gunna get robbed, give up the cash and perhaps the car. Those can be replaced, your life can not.

This is a prime example of spidey sense. Almost ended up there but just didn't feel right. Also, it was at the fairview. I'll never go to a place like that.

I've seen her post many times in Elkton and always wanted to go check her out as she was a hottie with a body. But I don't do go to those hotels anymore unless I'm getting the room. These girls always have a roommate and someone in the bathroom. And I also don't do car dates anymore because of things like this article and cash and dash. This absolutely sounds like a "Date" gone wrong. A lot of these girls boyfriends do get jealous from time to time and some even do rob certain individuals they feel are vulnerable. Glad I never went to Riann or Natalie for that matter. Was actually wondering what happened to Riann as she suddenly stopped posting and I had her on my to do list. Looks like her only way out of Baylor is to snitch out her Co D.
