Suspected Prostitute Arrested In Glastonbury Hotel.
GLASTONBURY — Police arrested a prostitute at the Hilton Gardens Hotel on Wednesday after she agreed to have sex with an undercover police officer for money, police said.
_ 31, of Manchester, was charged with prostitution, interfering with police and criminal impersonation.
Police seized $235 cash and a 2013 Honda CRV from Hall.
A regional task force set up the sting after hearing that prostitutes were conducting business at the hotel, police said.
The undercover officer arranged to meet _ 31, who charged $200 for one hour of sex. When they met, the officer described what he expected for the money and _ agreed to the arrangements, police said.
That's when task force members moved in and arrested her.
_ initially identified herself as _ 36, of North Carolina. But police eventually learned her real name.
_ said she had lied to avoid a warrant from North Carolina charging her with prostitution, police said.

One of the lessons we mongers can take away from this story is to be very cautious if we call up a BP / CL / whatever escort girl for an incall appointment and are told that she's in a hotel in Glastonbury, or West Hartford, or Rocky Hill or Newington or wherever. On the other hand, the Windsor Locks police made a bust at the Motel 6 near Bradley Airport, so maybe LEO is watching everywhere these days.

according to the news report for the recent bust at bradley airport motel 6, it involved an **** girl (i think 16 years old) and they were tracking her pimp for quite some time.
personally when i'm browsing any of these sites i use google chrome and right click images and select "search google for this image" (easier than using tineye). i'll pass on them for any of the following reasons:
* the picture is a fake picture (like it matches a picture used on 2,000 amateur porn picture forums).
* no picture (in fact i won't even click to view the post if there is no picture).
* all the pictures are lower quality (as in taken on a cell phone) and by another person (as in her pimp). if all / most pictures taken are "selfies" then it means she is complicit and not being coerced into making the ad which is a bonus.
* and of course if she doesn't appeal to me (ie: she's a fatty or she has a lot of ugly tattoos).
Eleven men were arrested in Windsor Locks during what police are calling "Operation Cupid.".
According to police, "Operation Cupid" was designed to address the numerous complaints of prostitution occurring in local motels along the Route 75 commercial business district.
Police say that this activity has led to an increase in larcenies, illegal drug use, child exploitation, disorderly conduct, as well as other related crimes and quality of life conditions.
Launched on St. Valentine's Day, February 14,2014, "Operation Cupid" was a joint effort between members of the Criminal Investigation and Patrol divisions.
Police placed an ad on a popular internet site used by people who wish to purchase sex for money.
An undercover officer posing as a prostitute responded to numerous request by clients for sexual services.
The officer and clients would meet at an area hotel where the client, or suspect, would be arrested by a team of backup officers.
A total of 11 men were arrested for soliciting prostitution. The operation is ongoing as police continue to combat increased illegal prostitution and associated crimes.

There were several ads for Windsor Locks this past week but most of them appeared several times. The one above only appeared on Valentine's Day itself and has a much simpler layout than the other ads, and does not mention any prices.
And as Boy Wonder 9 pointed out, this is apparently an ongoing operation. I noticed that the press release did not include the name of the hotels, so there are at least 6 or 7 candidates, although Motel 6 would get my vote as a prime candidate, as a teen girl got busted there a couple of weeks.
I feel bad for any guy who gets busted today (as well as yesterday's guys). Proves the value of reading USA SG to keep on top of the news!

I've been doing some checking around and have discovered that the ad that I wrote about in my previous post was not the ad put on BP by LEO.
Apparently the ad that LEO placed was posted on Thursday Feb. 13th only, then taken down, and the ad had no photo at all. Which explains why I couldn't find the photo over the weekend.
A separate source told me that La Quinta was the motel where the busts took place, not Motel 6.
As the guy said in 'Hill Street Blues' be careful out there!

Another bust, this is from this morning's Hartford Courant. I guess the police are too lazy to fight crime outside because of the frigid temperatures, so they bust an indoor facility that's minding its own business and not bothering anyone in the neighborhood:
West Hartford Woman Charged With Prostitution At Berlin Massage Parlor
BERLIN — A 43-year-old West Hartford woman was arrested on Wednesday after allegedly offering an undercover police officer sex for money at a Berlin massage parlor.
Police said the department had received several complaints regarding possible prostitution at Magic Hands Therapy, located at 112 Mill St. On Wednesday, detectives conducted an undercover operation at the business, which was operating without proper licensing from the town and the state Department of Health, police said.
A Magic Hands employee allegedly performed a massage and then offered sex for money to the undercover officer, police said.
The employee, who is also the business' manager, was identified as G. J., of West Hartford, police said.
J. was charged with prostitution and operating a sexually oriented business without a license. She was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 11, police said.
Police said that the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be brought.

If any of guys busted on 2/14 are part of the thread, please know that all of us give you our support. The worst part is over. The newspaper outing was the worst. Your bails were relatively low and they did not impound your cars. I have heard of simple prostitution bails being more around $7,500. I do not know what the Enfield courts do, but in Hartford, mongers get community service, std testing, and a one day class. Then the charges are dropped. I looked online and the guys from 2/14 got either $1,000 or $2,500 bonds. The guy who also got sexual assault got $5,000 bond. I assumed he tried to "touch" the undercover cop. The women busted in Glastonbury got extra bull-t charges and is still in York on a $25,000 bond.
The interesting part is I looked up all the names on the state web site ( http://www.jud2.ct.gov/crdockets/parm1.aspx) and two of the guys I could not find. I am wondering if the charges have been dropped or maybe the newpaper / police report had the names spelled wrong.
If anyone needs a criminal lawyer recommendation, they can PM me. Unfortunately, I have been in the back of a police cruiser more than I would have like to have been.

IMHO she appears to have been busted because of her involvement in the two heroin overdose deaths and for assaulting a police officer. This does not appear to be a routine bust for prostitution.
I might argue that taking Stormy off the streets is a public service!

MANCHESTER — Officers with a special task force arrested a local woman in a prostitution sting and found that she also was wanted for allegedly assaulting a police officer, police said Friday.
Brandy Milone, 24, who was listed in a news release as homeless, was charged with prostitution and failure to appear in court on a charge of second-degree assault on public safety personnel.
The arrest happened Wednesday at a local hotel. Officers with the East Central Narcotics Task Force had learned that a prostitute calling herself "Stormy" was posting advertisements soliciting her services, police said. Officers arranged to meet with the woman, and she offered to provide an undercover officer with an hour of sex for $200, police said.
Milone had been engaging in prostitution in several towns in the state for the past few months, charging up to $1,000, police said. She also has been linked to two heroin overdose deaths, police said. Police Sgt. Richard Grimaldi said he could not provide more details about the overdose deaths because they are still under investigation.
The assault charge was related to an incident in Meriden. Grimaldi said Milone told task force officers that she had been sleeping after using heroin. She said she woke up, found a police officer standing over her and punched him, Grimaldi said.

The reason why I am posting the article below is because apparently the woman admitted to the police that she had been streetwalking, and they didn't arrest her.
There is a bizarre element to the story. After he dumped the girl, she was talking with the police when he drove by again? The dumbass should have left town ASAP.
If he is in fact guilty of conducting similar assaults elsewhere, then I'm glad he's off the streets. Should be interesting to have a CO incarcerated. They'll have to keep him separated from the general prison population.
Correction Officer Accused In Hartford Rape

HARTFORD — A correction officer assigned to Hartford was arrested early Thursday on charges that he raped a woman at gunpoint on Huyshope Avenue.
Kelvin Grisales had agreed to pay the woman for sex, but instead pulled a gun on her and sexually assaulted her, according to a police report.
Grisales told police that the woman didn't mention money until after they had consensual sex and that she became aggressive when he refused to pay her.
Grisales is charged with first-degree sexual assault with a firearm, first-degree threatening, weapon in a motor vehicle and illegal use of a facsimile firearm. He was arraigned Thursday in Superior Court in Hartford where bond was set at $500,000.
Grisales was assigned to the Hartford Correctional Center. He was hired in September of 2008. Grisales has been placed on administrative leave. If the allegations against him are proven, the Department of Correction will pursue separation from state service, said a DOC spokesman.
The alleged victim called police around 12:30 am Thursday. She told officers she was walking on Wethersfield Avenue, looking to make money, when Grisales picked her up. He offered to give her $60 for sex, but then pulled out a gun and raped her in the back seat of his vehicle by the Science and Sports Academy on Huyshope Avenue, the police report says.
The woman was speaking with police when she saw Grisales drive by, and officers pulled him over and detained him, the report says.
Grisales told police that after he and the woman had sex, she asked for $60. She threatened him when he refused to give her money and he pulled out his son's BB gun because he feared for his safety. The woman became more aggressive and he ordered her out of his vehicle, the police report says.
Police seized the BB gun and a badge. Similar sexual assaults in Hartford and New Britain are under investigation, police said.

The cops know that it was probably your typical SW situation where the guy didn't want to pay at the end. But who knows, But the guy got charged what he got because he admitted to using the BB to counter her. She probably didn't have any weapons on her and the fact that he is a lot bigger then her, cops are not going to buy he fear for his safety. Because she accused him with rape and he had a weapon, he got screwed with the first degree rape charge. Will this hold up in court? Who knows?
But most girls don't call the cops if the guy just don't pay, so he probably did something more then just don't pay. But who knows, just my 2 cents.

Either that, or else one of the two said something they shouldn't have. In any case, there's probably more to the story than what was printed in the paper.

Darlene Court, 44, was charged with conspiracy to commit prostitution, possession of marijuana, being a fugitive from justice and failure to appear in court. The East Central Narcotics Task Force made the arrest Wednesday and the investigation is continuing, task force Sgt. Richard Grimaldi said.
Court, who was listed as homeless in a news release, was arrested at a Manchester hotel after task force officers learned that a prostitute calling herself "Danielle" was posting advertisements soliciting customers in the area, police said.
Task force members arranged to meet with the woman, who offered to provide an undercover officer with an hour of sex in exchange for cash, police said. Once she and the officer discussed "the particulars of their arrangements," other officers moved in to make the arrest, police said.
Danielle turned out to be Court, who had been engaged in prostitution and drug activity in several towns, police said. Investigators also learned that Court was wanted by state police for failing to appear in court on a drunk driving charge in the Danielson area and on a fugitive from justice charge in connection with a drug trafficking case in Maine, police said.

The East Central Narcotics Task Force investigates illegal drug use and sales and related crimes in Manchester, South Windsor, Vernon and Glastonbury. Anyone with information is asked to call the task force at 860-645-5548. Police say all calls will remain confidential.

Police Arrest Two After Pair Flees During Undercover Operation In Manchester

MANCHESTER Police said they seized 100 bags of heroin, a small amount of marijuana and made two arrests after a car sped away from undercover officers conducting surveillance at a local motel.
The operation happened at the Manchester Inn, 100 East Center St., Wednesday night, police said. Members of East Central Narcotics, a regional task force, had learned that heroin was being distributed in the area by "transient tenants," Sgt. Rick Grimaldi said in a news release.
As undercover officers watched, a man drove a car with New York plates into the parking lot briefly, then sped out of the lot, police said.
The operator drove through the intersection of East Center Street at Madison Street, cut off another vehicle and continued driving recklessly until he was stopped by a patrol car at Main and Strant streets, they said.
Police smelled burnt marijuana coming from the car, after which they found 100 bags of heroin and 1.49 grams, or less than a quarter of an ounce, of marijuana. The estimated street value of the heroin is $700, police said.
The driver, LW, and his female passenger, DB, both 23, were arrested. Both were charged with criminal attempt at sale of heroin and possession with intent to sell.
LW also was charged with possession with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, interfering with police, operation of a motor vehicle while under suspension, reckless driving and stop sign violation.
LW's bail was set at $250,000; DB's was set at $50,000, police said.
In March, a man died after he was beaten at the motel. Police have arrested two men in the death of BT, 47.

Prostitutes operated openly on the fourth floor of the Comfort Inn on Silas Deane Highway, according to a yearlong police investigation, at times shocking other guests by appearing in scanty clothes at breakfast or in hallways.

Back in the 1980's (when I was younger and stronger), I spent the night at the Grantmoor on the Berlin Turnpike with a girl from Hartford who was definitely not a prostitute. We needed the room because she was living with 3 kids and her mother in the projects. Managed to fuck most of the night and into mid-morning. If the maid had gone through the garbage after we checked out, she would have found 4 condoms with sperm in them, but trust me there was no prostitution involved then.

Heroin, Cocaine Seized, Two Arrested
MANCHESTER. Officers seized drugs and arrested two people Tuesday at a motel on Spencer Street, police said.
Officers from the East Central Narcotics task force were in the area of Studio 6 Motel after getting information that a meeting had been set up between a man or multiple men and a prostitute.
Mr. A. J. , 44, of Willimantic was spotted by officers knocking at the door of the location they were watching, police said. When officers approached him they saw him trying to hide drugs in a garbage bag on the porch, police said.
Officers also approached J's car and found Ms. A. P. , 29, also of Willimantic, with marijuana, police said.
Police seized 16.5 grams of cocaine, 96 packets of heroin, nine grams of marijuana and over $1,000.

Each had their bond set at $100,000, police said.

An 18-year-old woman was accused of prostitution after allegedly stealing a hookah pipe from her client's smoke shop in West Hartford Thursday night in a reported dispute over money, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports that West Hartford police were called to a smoke shop to investigate a shoplifting complaint and officers determined that the woman had stolen the hookah.
Pipe following a disagreement with the store owner " over a fee for sexual services" she had rendered.
She was arrested on charges of prostitution and sixth-degree larceny, while the owner was charged with patronizing a prostitute and falsely reporting an incident.

WEST HARTFORD After 24-year-old MM refused to pay for a sexual encounter with YM, a woman he contacted through a sexually oriented website, the woman snatched three hookahs from the shelves of Smokers' Discount World in Bishop's Corner, according to a police report.
The encounter occurred in a backroom of the shop at Crossroads Plaza the afternoon of Aug. 28. MM, who was working at the store, initially told the woman he was setting up an encounter for his uncle, the report says.
But when YM, 18, of Holyoke, Mass. , arrived at the shop about 2:30 pm Aug. 28, MM's uncle was not there, so YM waited in the store's backroom, the report says. After about an hour, she decided she had waited long enough and demanded payment, police said.
That's when MM inquired about cost of certain services, according to the report, and he and YM reached an agreement. He refused to pay up front, but agreed to give YM his iPhone as collateral, according to the police report. He promised to pay for the sex act with cash and one of the store's hookahs, YM told police. Police said they suspect MM's uncle knew nothing about the incident.
Once the act was completed, MM refused to pay, YM later told police. While she was arguing with MM about payment, her friend DS, 21, of Atlanta, showed up at the store. YM grabbed three hookahs from a shelf and left the store with DS, the report says.
MM called police to report the theft of the hookahs.
Police arrived about 4 pm, before YM and DS could leave, and began trying to sort out the different stories they were told.
YM eventually admitted that she was at the store because MM contacted her after seeing her ad on the website, the report says. She admitted having sex with MM, and said he refused to pay.
"YM freely admitted that she took the hookahs from Smoker's Discount World because MM was refusing to compensate her as agreed upon," according to the report.
MM's story kept changing, police said, and at one point he became belligerent with officers and began recording his interactions with them on video. He ultimately refused to give police a written statement.
Hours later, police charged MM with patronizing a prostitute and falsely reporting an incident. He posted $2,500 bail and is due in Superior Court in Hartford Sept. 11.

MM is from Pakistan, not the US, which may explain why he was stupid enough to call the police instead of just letting the girls leave with the 3 hookahs and chalking up the loss to experience. He's also lucky that YM is 18, not younger, or MM would be in even bigger trouble.
I'm fairly sure that the uncle didn't know about this and is not amused to have this incident occur and hit the press (it also made NBC 30 yesterday evening).
YM has an intriguing first name that I don't recall seeing before. I'm curious what name she used in her ad, also which "sexually oriented website" she had advertised on.

However, this time the New Britain Herald has a much more extensive article, which also includes the full mug shot of the eldest woman, DM, who was obviously wearing her "working clothes" (see-through black shirt and colorful bra) at the time of her arrest.
For those who haven't figured it out yet, the youngest woman, BM, is the infamous Stormy, who was recently released from York Correctional Institute (as noted in the article below). Considering Stormy's recent history, she won't be missed.
The oldest woman, DM, advertises as "Dina Marie" on Backpage and has been written about frequently of late on USA SG. "Dina Marie" was obviously posting photos in her Backpage ad that were taken at least 10 years ago, as noted by Tiger37 in a recent post on the Waterbury board. I did a Google check on photos for DM and found that at least one of the photos that Dina Marie had posted in her Backpage ad is also on her "my space" page (under her real name), further verifying that DM and "Dina Marie" are one and the same.
Since LJG is 29, her 2003 arrest for prostitution took place when she was 18 (or 17). She's the only one of the 3 who doesn't look as if she's had a hard life.

SOUTHINGTON Three women who police said were advertising online as "escorts" were charged with prostitution Friday after detectives conducted an undercover sting at a local hotel.
BM, 24, of Waterbury, LJG, 29, of Hartford, and DM, 51, of Wolcott, were taken into custody after allegedly agreeing on fees of $100 to $200 per hour to perform "sexual activities" with an undercover officer, police said.
"All three set up a meeting with an undercover officer at a local hotel," Lt. JS said. "We don't have any reason to believe they were connected."
The women were advertising as "escorts" on Backpage.com, a classified ad website used to sell or buy items or services. The department's detective division began investigating after receiving several complaints that women were working as prostitutes at local hotels, Lt. S said. Police declined to give out the names of the hotels that were targeted for complaints. But Lt. S said in the case of the sting which took place Friday, an undercover officer working with the Special Investigations Unit arranged for each woman to show up at the same hotel.
The name of the hotel is also being withheld as police may be conducting similar stings in the future, said Lt. S, who couldn't recall the last time the department had received numerous complaints about prostitution at local hotels.
"We haven't had the volume of complaints come in like this in the past," he said.
The undercover officer contacted the women, who were "known prostitutes" through the website and then arranged for a meeting at the hotel where a discussion of the price of the activity took place, Lt. S said.
All three women were charged with prostitution. LJG, who has a previous 2003 prostitution arrest according to court records, was also charged with interfering with police after she struggled with officers, Lt. S said.
BM was on probation for a March prostitution arrest when she was taken into custody during the sting, according to court records. DM was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

However, this time the New Britain Herald has a much more extensive article, which also includes the full mug shot of the eldest woman, DM, who was obviously wearing her "working clothes" (see-through black shirt and colorful bra) at the time of her arrest.
For those who haven't figured it out yet, the youngest woman, BM, is the infamous Stormy, who was recently released from York Correctional Institute (as noted in the article below). Considering Stormy's recent history, she won't be missed.
The oldest woman, DM, advertises as "Dina Marie" on Backpage and has been written about frequently of late on USA SG. "Dina Marie" was obviously posting photos in her Backpage ad that were taken at least 10 years ago, as noted by Tiger37 in a recent post on the Waterbury board. I did a Google check on photos for DM and found that at least one of the photos that Dina Marie had posted in her Backpage ad is also on her "my space" page (under her real name), further verifying that DM and "Dina Marie" are one and the same.
Since LJG is 29, her 2003 arrest for prostitution took place when she was 18 (or 17). She's the only one of the 3 who doesn't look as if she's had a hard life.

SOUTHINGTON Three women who police said were advertising online as "escorts" were charged with prostitution Friday after detectives conducted an undercover sting at a local hotel.
BM, 24, of Waterbury, LJG, 29, of Hartford, and DM, 51, of Wolcott, were taken into custody after allegedly agreeing on fees of $100 to $200 per hour to perform "sexual activities" with an undercover officer, police said.
"All three set up a meeting with an undercover officer at a local hotel," Lt. JS said. "We don't have any reason to believe they were connected."
The women were advertising as "escorts" on Backpage.com, a classified ad website used to sell or buy items or services. The department's detective division began investigating after receiving several complaints that women were working as prostitutes at local hotels, Lt. S said. Police declined to give out the names of the hotels that were targeted for complaints. But Lt. S said in the case of the sting which took place Friday, an undercover officer working with the Special Investigations Unit arranged for each woman to show up at the same hotel.
The name of the hotel is also being withheld as police may be conducting similar stings in the future, said Lt. S, who couldn't recall the last time the department had received numerous complaints about prostitution at local hotels.
"We haven't had the volume of complaints come in like this in the past," he said.
The undercover officer contacted the women, who were "known prostitutes" through the website and then arranged for a meeting at the hotel where a discussion of the price of the activity took place, Lt. S said.
All three women were charged with prostitution. LJG, who has a previous 2003 prostitution arrest according to court records, was also charged with interfering with police after she struggled with officers, Lt. S said.
BM was on probation for a March prostitution arrest when she was taken into custody during the sting, according to court records. DM was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

K. C. is / was a provider herself. There's multiple threads about her here and on another review site, most of them bad, mostly from a few years ago. WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) Two people from New Britain are accused of kidnapping a man in West Hartford, police say.
21-year-old Jalen Faucette-Smith and 20-year-old Teesa McElroy were arrested Monday in connection to the crime. Police say they kidnapped the victim at knifepoint while he was walking in January, forcing him into a car and used his debit card. They then released him the next day in Hartford.

I sometimes read through the Orlando forum and some other Florida forums and it is said again and again to not partake in activities in Polk County because of this sheriff. Its amazing that not only do they print out the johns names but also they have a brief bio of them including where they work.Wow, 160 arrests is a huge number and it will certainly put a huge dent in the demand for escorts but this polk county sheriff is a clown though. Most of the escorts who are local to that area and can't easily relocate will simply resort to other means to fund their drug habit, most likely shoplifting, burglary and or selling drugs.
On the press release site, at the bottom there is a graphic with all of the mugshots of the 160 arrested. It looks like they arrested more prostitutes than johns, and out of the whole thing netted 7 human trafficking victims. Seems like a low number for an operation that was so focused on the human trafficking crime, according to the sherrif.
Additionally, as apparently the vast majority of the prostitutes arrested had their photos posted in the graphic (and thus were NOT human trafficking victims, but normal garden-variety criminals just like the johns) I find it truly hypocritical and discriminatory that the polk county sherrif chooses to only publicly embarrass and, for all intents and purposes, convict (as once this is published it won't matter what the outcome of any court proceedings are -- these people will have been effectively convicted without due process) only the men.
Shame on the polk county sherriffs office.

How were they able to do so for that long without the word getting out? People talk, and news spreads very quickly through social media.
While human trafficking is a serious and real offense that is not to be taken lightly, law enforcement usually uses it as an excuse to round up a bunch of folks, hoping that they might actually catch someone who appears to be trafficked in the process. In this case, they found 2 cases out of 160 arrests, and even that number might be suspect. What a waste of taxpayer resources!

On Wednesday major LE sting of both Johns and prostitutes. Cops crafty on how they orchestrated the sting to get the most Johns snarled in their net.
Reviewing the Hartford daily arrest log for 12/7, they first targeted the SW between 9-11 am on Wethersfield Ave and Franklin-arresting 10 girls. Once Ave and Franklin cleared of working girls they targeted guys between 2-4 pm up by Colt Park entrance. Typical guy cruising Ave will enter by Colt Park and head south towards Autozone and further. When he sees no girls because of earlier arrests he heads back north towards Colt Park and well well a new girl / cop appears. You pull over, desperate for a BJ, discuss sex and $$ which is being recorded and she never gets in car but says go up to Stonington or Morris and I will come to you. Surprise Surprise yr now arrested and and on the local news!! What a nightmare!
Never ever discuss $$ with a sex act when picking up a SW especially if you have never seen her before. Introduce yourself, get a feel for her and leave-come back later after you see her in action and make a decision that she is safe to see. A few missing teeth, grundgy clothes and greasy hair should put you at ease.
Interesting that news only mentioned Johns arrested and no reports of any girls arrested or mug shots like they have done in past. Definitely playing hardball and determined to clean up streets.

West Hartford school resource officers received several complaints from parents that their children were getting a hold of tobacco and THC products. The parents further alleged the Qias Convenience Store located at 74 LaSalle Road was selling tobacco and THC products to minors, police said.
The West Hartford Police Department Community Support Unit (SRO) began an investigation into the complaints and discovered the Qias Convenience Store was not licensed to sell any THC products.
