A male provider was charged with inappropriate touching and the backdrop showed Super Foot Spa on Campbell. However immediately several legit female massage operators were interviewed and were complaining about "all the new" shops opening. The city will supposedly be checking more closely. Then reference was made to "trafficking". I am tempted to call in and ask if anyone has seen the cars that these ladies drive? Hardly suffering trafficked or exploited foreigners. Just my 2 cents.

Here here, DesertSailor. The "trafficking" word is thrown around much too casually, often by NGOs seeking attention and donations. Every AMP girl I meet in Tucson is a good capitalist. And yes, as you alluded to, I know of one who is driving a 2021 Lexus.

I just saw on the news today where councilman Steve Kozachik is going after massage parlors that are not licensed.

TPD works on new ordinance to regulate massage establishments.

TUCSON (KVOA) - There are two issues involving illegal massage establishments that concern Tucson police: prostitution and inappropriate touching by massage therapists. Tucson City councilman Steve Kozachik is working with Tucson Police Department on creating an ordinance. "This is an important ordinance because now we have women being sex trafficked in Tucson," Kozachik said. Councilman Kozachik said TPD is working exhaustively to put this ordinance together. "We have operators at massage establishments who are threatening women to take their passports, visas, get them deported if they speak up," he said. It won't just help women being trafficked but also help legitimate massage businesses. "We have a lot of massage establishments who have customers coming in and expecting something other than a massage," Kozachik said. That happened to Garnet Adair, a licensed massage therapist for over 30 years. "I said, I'm not going to do that. You can get out of here," Adair said. Adair is also working with police. She said she is seeing more and more massage parlors popping up all over the city. She knows some of those businesses are conducting illegal business. "If this ordinance decreases the human trafficking that would be wonderful," she said. Adding, they need to protect the legitimate businesses and licensed massage therapists. "And not be associated with intentional and inappropriate touch," Adair added. Tucson police is still working on the ordinance and they hope to have it before the Mayor and Council soon.

I just saw on the news today..We started speaking to this already over here.

To make the patrons aware, decide on a fixed venue to discuss.

For now or ever, stay far away from these places.

I have been to AMP's literally over 100 times, never once saw anything to lead me to believe my masseuse was trafficked. It's not an election year, so he's probably whipping this up so people will be distracted from real issues like potholes.

Steve should be emphasizing enforcing ordinances prohibiting public urination.

More and more I see homeless hanging at evey corner asking for money. Sad part many of them are actually fully capable of getting a job and contributing something to society. Just drive down aviation highway and look right across from DMAB and you can see tons of homeless house and some even have cars. Just check it your self if you don't believe it.

He is just a headline grabber. Nano's says he is loosing cops left and right due to the stupid Covid requirements. So, who is going to enfore this "crackdown"? Crackpot Kozachik?

I would hate to see the AMP seen go away like the Spanish and Daisy delights just because an asshole feel so righteous to try to stop a problem that is not really a problem. As stated before, they should see the cars that these ladies drive. No exploited sex worker would have those cars.

I used that same title a few weeks back. TPD nodding and smiling to a politician in a public forum is quite different from devoting man-hours to enforcement of a non-existent problem. While we recently lost our chief (the new head of Customs and Border Patrol, for those who haven't heard), my sense is that this will turn out to be much ado about nothing. Meaning that it would really surprise me if the clock got turned back to the status quo of eight or ten years ago. It's possible, but I don't think it's likely. Again, I will ask that anyone who gains First hand knowledge, as opposed to rumor or conspiracy theories, of a squeeze on the local AMP scene to report it on this forum. Until then, this is a non-starter.

The justification was trafficking girls. They never ever charged anyone with trafficking. All they accomplished was destroying destroying the finances of women that were not hurting any body. They charged them with minor things like living in a non residential building.

They had the same problem when they shut down Spanish.

Don't think for a minute that T. P. D. Or the Sherrifs dept. Is way too busy to investigate these AMP's. This councilman has a hard on for these AMP's he is going to pursue it all the way. They busted that brothel 11 years ago out on old Nogales highway. They showed up with about 44 deputies and arrested everyone. She had a complete group of girls from South America and Mexico City.

Stop for a moment and think about this? You know that the Mamasans read this forum don't you think T. E. P. Is reading it as well. Anyone who has wrote a review of a am P. Including me. We are telling them exactly what's going on inside. We include girls name's such as Yuki and Cici and Nancy Q and we talk about each spa. Spa 9 Sun ect. All T. E. P. Has to do is just sit outside write plate numbers run the plates. Then just follow us around. Say we go to Sun then maybe visit another down the road. They have a visual of us know where we live.

Ect. You see where I'm going. We talk to much on this site. We are telagraphing our every move. Maybe we should just pm each other and only do it with Senior Members only. We are setting ourselves up for a Big Ending.

For me. I will not be reviewing A.M.P. Anymore. Will review Escorts but no more A.M.P.s

I know that at least one of the gals at AA drives a Lexus. At least she's driving from her so-called trafficking work responsibilities in style.

YMMV.

(snip) . . . my sense is that this will turn out to be much ado about nothing. Meaning that it would really surprise me if the clock got turned back to the status quo of eight or ten years ago. It's possible, but I don't think it's likely. . . . (snip)What happened over the past few years really surprised me -- all the AMPs were in Marana; only private providers of massage were located within city limits (some ladies I visited, listed in BP and elsewhere, as well as By Spanish and her places, were in Tucson proper). Back in those days, that didn't matter, as I was living near Casa Grande and had to visit someone regularly in the Ina Road / La Cholla area. Then I looked again and any number of places were open in the city and thriving. Where I am now, Marana is on the wrong side of town and I can save a half hour each way by going, say, to Rain *.

So if they go through a period of shutdowns in Tucson, it shouldn't affect the establishments and any possible new ones further north. It will be more inconvenient and possibly more crowded for a while, but unless the poison spreads to Marana or to Pima County, the desert won't be completely dry, I expect and hope.

*The place on Houghton Rd would be even closer, but it had horrible reports published here so I skipped it.

How would he email you from jail? Even if he could, why would he go through the trouble of doing that just to hear " I told you so. "?

I'll come down and tell you. I told you so! Look, I don't want any of us to get in trouble, but as long as we post our results and experiences we have at each AMP. We are just providing them with more information. But Hey? We all know that everything that is posted on here is just Stories written like in the Penthouse Forum to provide entertainment for all of us. Its just all make believe. I'm not looking to get anyone mad. Just looking out for all of us.
