It doesn't surprise me, I've said all along a good many of them are corrupt and rotten to the core. The happenings yesterday just goes to show what I say is true.I've had two very close family members that were cops and, even with that bias, would have to agree 100. Being a cop seems to somehow promote a feeling of elitism in individuals. They seem to think that their moral compass is the guide for what laws to enforce and which to ignore, and which don't apply to them because they are cops.

A little over 30 years ago, I left the Philippines after a 6 year tour. I was so used to being able to buy pussy that it seemed like normal function. While stationed stateside, I was driving, looking for a business. Realizing that I had missed my turn, I turned around in a major chain hotel parking lot. Not even looking for service, I stumbled upon a young lady that walked in front of my truck so that I had to stop. Then she came to my window and asked if I wanted to party. Of course, I was agreeable. To keep a long story from becoming longer, I'll just say that cops were in the room, she was a cop and I was busted.

Result from bust: $310 fine. 5 days in jail, mandatory AIDS counseling, mandatory AIDS testing, my name published in the city paper. Secondary results: Loss of security clearance, denied reenlistment after 12 years service, fallout of friends and family seeing name in paper (including daughter.)

All of the above crap because I said "yes" when tail was offered. I wasn't even looking for it at the time. Shortly after this came the Rodney King riots (I was stationed near LA.) Police doing what they god-damned well pleased and getting off scot free or with slaps to the wrist for major atrocities. Meanwhile, my life, livelihood and everyday life was turned upside down because of the pursuit of ass and the bullshit tactics of police. BTW, one of the cops from the town that was running the sting ended up getting in a little hot water shortly after this time. He had an affair when a GI's wife and, when the GI found out, confronted him. The cop used his position to threaten, harass with traffic stops, and generally tried to run over the GI using his "cop powers." Luckily, the GI had some powerful friends of his own and the cop was disciplined. By being given 14 days off, with pay.

The events of that time period has taught me to be a little wary of how I participate in this hobby of ours. I have learned to look for tell-tale signs but I have also started having a "don't give a fuck" attitude. At my age, I don't really give a shit about what the cops try anymore. I'll take general precautions (these come natural since I have been mongering since the 70's) but I'm not going to worry about the elaborate setups.

Oh, back to the 5 days of jail time. I was allowed to perform them with community service, at a landfill. The person running the crew was a speed-freak and you could get out of your time by giving him speed. For those that stayed, the busted prostitutes were giving $10 blowjobs all day long to those of us that had been busted, busted pot heads and other "evil jailbirds." I don't think that anyone was rehabilitated by the time.

Here's the post of my SW locations info I periodically post for reference. I update it as needed to help people not familiar with the area and to update names of places and such that have changed, so it's not always the same old same old. I'm making a forum thread for it so it's easily accessible. Anyone not familiar with the area might need a map to get to some places, but this should help.

I've been dating the SW's of the B'ham area since the early 90's. They all change, come and go, disappear and reappear, but the places where they are mainly stay the same. I won't talk about specific girls, just where to find girls, for alot of the girls know places on every side of town to go and you may see one near Legion Field one day, then the next day she's in Woodlawn. And times that girls are out vary, though in most places I'll mention you could drive through there any time of the day and see one, and its possible you might not.

1) Starting on the east side of the B'ham area, theres a road off of Highway 75 heading toward Oneonta right past the Blount County line called Old Highway 75, its just a road that goes in and a mile down the road comes back out, well that's an area that blacks live and its a well known crack area, and SW's frequent there sometimes, but I haven't seen them there lately.

2) There have been girls known to walk down Center Point Road as well from where Center Point begins all the way to the end of the road, theres been less frequency of that since they got tougher on that type of stuff in that area.

3) In the Leeds/Trussville area, there's a road off of Highway 78 heading to Leeds from Irondale called Floyd Bradford Road. About 3 miles down that road theres an area called Lola City where its a well know drug peddling area. Off of F.B. Road to the left is a one block dead end road called Virginia Street and girls are known to frequent there sometimes. Also, two blocks down from there, if you turn up the second left past that theres a road called High Street, and thats also known drug area, and girls frequent there as well. These areas are not always good to find girls, but it is possible.

4)The 1st Avenue North area, going west from the Anchor Motel near the Krispy Kreme all the way down to the Crown gas station around 45th Street is always an area where girls pop up. Areas along that road where girls usually frequent are the adult book stores accross from the new Church's, the area around the Crown and Conoco gas stations near I'd say 69th Street maybe. Also the area in the main Woodlawn area is always cropping with girls, especially around the McDonalds in the 3 motels (Sky, American, Relax) surrounding it and in the streets around there, too. Then down the road there's a Motel 8 all alone at 50th Street, that area has alot of girls that frequent that area too. 50th Street is also a road to check. There's also been a few TS that have shown up around the adult book stores on 1st, so make sure what you're getting. In Avondale near there, 3rd Avenue from the Exxon station to the Star Inn, and the streets behind the Star are areas to check. All of these areas have equal number of white and black girls. Always an area that needs to be checked.

5) Downtown theres always the faithful 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North around the post office that girls frequent at all hours, though not as prevalent as before they passed the hooker laws of course, but still there. I found a girl I went to high school with that was a cheerleader down there trying to pick up dates (she got hooked on pain killers), so you never know who you'll find. The girls usually are at the small mini park across from the post office, though the girls available usually look worn out. Also downtown, the area around the 16th Street Church and Kelly Ingram Park have been active with all kinds of girls walking around at all hours, also worth checking out. If in that area, I'd also ride by Linn Park, that's usually where the transients sleep, and there's alot of female transients who're always looking to make money.

6) Around the west side of town, if you travel down 3rd Avenue West from the Church's Chicken and Alabama Adult Books (around 9th Street and 3rd Ave west) all the way to where the fairgrounds area starts where Lomb Avenue intersects, theres always a chance you'll find a girl walking somewhere down that road. Though there have been girls further down heading towards Bessemer at a motel that used to be called Plantation and now its called Sun Inn I think. The side roads on either side of 3rd Avenue West are places to look too. Around that area, near Princeton Hosp. and the Arlington House you can look in the areas around Tuscaloosa Avenue, Cotton Avenue from Elyton School down to Rallys. As well, you can go down 8th Avenue, from Arkadelphia Road all the way down to 16th Street and theres girls that frequent all areas down that road at all hours. If you're into transvestites, transexuals or whatever, they used to walk down 8th Avenue between 5th Street past Parker H.S. and 12th Street, though I haven't seen them there in a long time. Mainly black girls around these areas, though occasionally theres a white girl every now and then.

7) Highway 78 heading toward Jasper, also called Arkadelphia Road, is another good area. Theres 2 truck stops right near one another, Pilot has a Wendys attached to it, and there's Kangaroo. Girls hang out in the parking lots alot and walk along the side of the road. Up the road from there, there's several motels, one near a overpass walkway and one called Alabama Motel. Finley Avenue also has a couple of truck stops around the I-65 exit, Conoco, Shell and Citgo, and those areas always have girls hanging around. Around these truck stops theres usually equal numbers of white and black girls. Going toward Jasper, I've also found a girl before walking down the highway in an area called Argo, next to a gas station on the side heading back toward B'ham.

8) There is activity at a motel on the Irondale/Birmingham border on Highway 78. It used to be a Holiday Inn, now called the USA Economy I believe. This place is also being watched and now has a security guard that walks around all the time. Be careful there, too. I've been told that the motel across from the Krystal in Irondale has had girls there off and on, but the manager there isn't as casual about it as they are in Woodlawn.

9) Bessemer used to be active. There was info that the Scottish Inn down near Walmart has had girls outside of it, though I have yet to see any. The Motel 8 on the west side of Bessemer heading toward B'ham is quite active there as well as the lots around the BP and Shell on 28th Street up the road. Also, side roads in Bessemer are always areas to look. If you're familiar with Bessemer, the areas around Snitz Snider Stadium at 4th Avenue and 9th Street, all the way back to Eastern Valley Road and all the areas in between are all places to look. Also look around Dartmouth Avenue on the eastern side of 150- there's some projects up the road that shows promise. You might want to watch out for Bessemer police, though, as they were out in force early morning the last time I passed through there.

10) I've found girls around the fountain in southside. The fountain is on 20th St at the crossroads of 11th Avenue. I can't say for sure whether they're SW's or not, probably homeless or runaways just passing through. But those type usually are ones that could be up for a way to make some money, so it might be worth checking out.

I don't think that term was mentioned in my post, but you might be referring to the area around the intersection of Lorna Road and Rocky Ridge Road on Hoover, named so because of the large influx of Mexican people that hang out on the side of the road around there.

Here's a list of SW's I have been wondering where they're at. I usually post this every few months, but noticed I haven't posted it in quite a while. I decided I'd make it a seperate post and it might get noticed more. I'm going to list several girls that I either used to know, date, or see on the stroll but haven't seen in a while to see if anybody here might know where they're at or what happened to them.

- One I haven't seen in over 15 years was called Consuela (sp), on the street, but her real name was Ramona. She was in her late 20's back then, and I haven't seen her since around late 1991. She had a dancer's type body, blonde hair, lived in the Center Point area and Hoover. Used to be around the old Granada and the Tourway.

- Another girl I definitely miss was named "Sonny", there's 2 girls named Sonny I'm going to talk about, but this one was around the East Lake/ Roebuck area. I saw her around the summer of 1994 and haven't seen her since. I first saw her outside the adult book stores on 1st Avenue and I picked her up other times by the Anchor Motel on 1st Avenue and the Waffle House by the motel near where the new Roebuck Walmart is. She was 19 at the time, had shoulder length wavy brown hair, and looked just like one of the UAB Golden Girls at the time, though I know she wasn't.

- Star was a girl that lived at the old house that burned on 1st Avenue around 49th Street. Haven't seen her since '94 either.

-Around the summer of '95, there was a girl that was around 3rd Avenue near the Rickwood Field area named Tina. She reminded me of the daughter on Mr. Belvedere, which was being shown on some local channel at the time. White, about early 20's, shoulder length brown hair, short, kinda chunky figure but not fat.

- Another girl was named Glinda, that was her real name, I don't remember what street name she had. She danced at the Sammy's on 3rd Avenue before it closed, although now it's called Magic City II or some sort of thing. She was around that area in 1991 and 92 and I last saw her at the first of '96. She was white, long straight brown hair when I first knew her, and later had short brown hair and glasses. She had a child by a "dealer" that got shot behind a car wash on 3rd.

- Leslie was a girl around the Legion Field and 3rd Avenue area. She was white, shoulder length dark hair, was pregnant at the time but first acted like she wasn't. I haven't seen her since late '95, around the time she had her baby. I'm thinking she quit the street thing because of her baby. *note- this is NOT Lesley from 1st.

- The other Sonny I haven't seen is a girl that usually was around the 3rd Avenue area, around the Motor Lodge usually. She's white, about early 30's now, long straight blonde hair, about 180 to 200 pounds. Usually hangs out with a black guy that looks like Charles Barkley. Haven't seen either of them in about five to seven years or so.

-April was a girl I saw during summer 2003 walking down 1st Avenue between 50th Street and the San Ann, now Crown, gas station late one night. She was early 30's, Latino looking, long wavy black hair, wore a knee length dark dress, killer legs. She came from some area down 50th Street near the pipe plant there. I'd love to know where she went to. Oh, this isn't the "April" that's always on 1st around the I-20 overpass, I know who she is, and she pops up all the time-- short, sometimes wears a black wig or has dyed hair.

- Jayda is a white girl I've known since New Years Eve 1998, she's been around the Arkadelphia and Finley area the last several times I've seen her. Though I haven't seen her in probably 8 years now. I wonder where she's been lately.

- Nay Nay was a black girl that looked like the younger daughter on Fresh Prince. She was about 20 or 21. She was on Tuscaloosa Avenue in 2001 around the Trade Center times. God she looked nice.

- Melanie is a white girl, short, wavy blonde hair early 30's probably now. I first saw her in the Moody area around an area where this girl I knew at the time was staying. Then she appeared on 3rd Avenue and has last been seen around the Arkadelphia and Finley areas. That's been probably 7 or 8 years now, too.

- About 5 or so years ago, there was a black girl that walked along 3rd Avenue near the Burger King up to around the Captain D's. She always wore nice clothes, leather type, and carried a small purse. She was about 19, slim, and said she was making money to pay her bills. She had some home made looking tattoos on her lower part of her leg. Don't remember her name, but she wasn't around there long.

- Snowflake, as she was known on the street, was named Christina. She was short, kinda stocky, very cute, young looking, wore her hair in a small pony tail type thing. She was around the 3rd Avenue area when I first found her in May 2000, lived in the Ensley area for a while and was Woodlawn on 1st Avenue in the early part of 2002. I saw her last summer and she gained alot fo weight, and was staying at the Seweet Home with her bf. I'd still be interested if she's still there or not.

- Amy was a girl who was around 1st Avenue North around this time in 2003. She was first at the Bama and later at the Anchor down the road. She told me she was just hanging around the area cause she got caught up in the lifestyle and made friends. She was about 20, blonde, average size, had tiger paws tattooed above both her breasts. She's one of the ones that I've seen working at Red Lobster, but I'm still interested in if she still walks the street.

- Kip is a white, large bodied blonde. She alot of times used to walk down 1st and sometimes could be found in the Moody area. She reminded me of Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks a bit in the face. She pops up occasionally but I haven't seen her walking the stroll in over a year. I first met her in 1998. She also was last seen working at Red Lobster.

- 'Tweety' as she goes by, her real name was Amanda, usually is around the 16th St church area and back around the bread factory a block or so over, sometimes shows up around 12th Avenue North. She has the look of Melissa Gilbert a bit in the face and is about 22 I believe. I haven't seen her since May 2005.

-Ann was a slender red head that stayed at the Anchor last summer. She was 26. She had hair down to her butt and had very nice legs. She had a very country sounding voice and usually hung around thugs.

.............I may have missed a few I was thinking about mentioning, but if anyone has seen any of these girls lately, or knows what might have happened to any of them, please pass it along. Some of these girls I never dated, but were girls I used to know virtue of hanging around some other girls.

- Also, does anyone know of a white girl named Ann, who has long butt length red hair, a killer body, and a very kuntry accent ? She was around East Lake in the summer of 08, either walking the sidewalk around the Krispy Kreme area or staying at the Anchor. She's from Dyersburg, Tennessee, so she might have went back home. This is a permanent feeler question, anyone who answered me this past week about this doesn't have to re-answer.

Additions:

11) East side of Birmingham - Richard Arrington Boulevard in Kingston and Woodlawn area. If you go down Arrington Blvd from the intersection of Messer Airport Hwy and head west toward town, basically before you get to Vanderbilt Road, there's always the possibility of finding girls down this way. They're usually on the Kingston side, though on the weekends when the bars are open there's girls that hang out by the several bars right past 40th Street. In Kingston, it's going to be rough looking, usually black girls, though.

12) Downtown Birmingham area - 12th Avenue North from 22nd to 32nd Streets. This stretch of road occasionally has girls walking down that stretch, usually around the Rally's or down by the Shell and McDonalds. They can also be up in the neighborhoods as well, but it's hit and miss. Mainly miss. Low end girls here, as well. If you head east on 12th and go all the way to the end of it on Vanderbilt, turn right and go to the intersection, then turn left and that is Arrington Blvd mentioned in #11

There's been alot of talk the last month about that redhead around the Exxon and McDs area on 1st, and one person who knew of Ann was also one who saw this new redhead and said it wasn't her. The truck stop at the intersection of Highway 78 at Arkadelphia Road and Finley Avenue is generally pretty active. That's saying alot as most truck stops around here haven't been very active lately. I don't remember the name of it but it has a Wendy's attached to it.

If you're visiting the city and only have a short time, then the ones to pay attention to below are numbers 4, 6, 7, 9 & 11, which will be your best shot at finding SWs. The main area discussed in the General Reports as of late is number 4.

If you're familiar with Bessemer, the areas around Snitz Snider Stadium at 4th Avenue and 9th Street, all the way back to Eastern Valley Road and all the areas in between are all places to look. Also look around Dartmouth Avenue on the eastern side of 150- there's some projects up the road that shows promise. You might want to watch out for Bessemer police, though, as they were out in force early morning the last time I passed through there. Heading back toward Birmingham on Bessemer Super Highway, there's two motels called the Hiway Host and the Ace Motel around the Lipscomb and Brighton areas to keep an eye on. Those two motels have been fairly active of late, though I'd watch the area as cops tend to hide where you can't see them until you're right upon them.

10) I've found girls around the fountain in southside. The fountain is on 20th St at the crossroads of 11th Avenue. I can't say for sure whether they're SW's or not, probably homeless or runaways just passing through. But those type usually are ones that could be up for a way to make some money, so it might be worth checking out.

11) East side of Birmingham - Richard Arrington Boulevard in Kingston and Woodlawn area. If you go down Arrington Blvd from the intersection of Messer Airport Hwy and head west toward town, basically before you get to Vanderbilt Road, there's always the possibility of finding SWs down this way. They're usually on the Kingston side, though on the weekends when the bars are open there's girls that hang out by the several bars right past 40th Street. Around Kingston, you'll usually tend to find rough looking black SWs.

12) Downtown Birmingham area - 12th Avenue North from 22nd to 32nd Streets. This stretch of road occasionally has SWs walking down that stretch, usually around the Rally's or down by the Shell and McDonalds. They can also be up in the neighborhoods as well, but it's hit and miss. Mainly miss. Low end SWs here, as well. If you head east on 12th and go all the way to the end of it on Vanderbilt, turn right and go to the intersection, then turn left and that is Arrington Blvd mentioned in #11

I will say I understand why people ask if they've moved somewhere else, though. I was out last night and went from one side of town to the other and there wasn't a single sight of a SW from Roebuck to Bessemer. The Woodlawn area around 50th, all of 1st, even back up on Airport was dead as a doornail. It kind of makes you wonder when you pass by everywhere SW should be and see nothing at all, no SW, no dealers, no tag-along thugs - nothing. The thing is as far as moving, where would they move to if they did move ? They really have nowhere else to go but the areas I've described in the post below. If they were to show up strolling in the city limits of Hoover, Trussville, Irondale, Gardendale- they'd be thrown in jail or run out of town as soon as they hit the pavement. For one thing those places are not where they know to buy dope. The areas where they walk are all close by or in areas where drugs are sold, in the projects, run-down motels and drug infested neighborhoods right down the block from their stroll. There really are no other places for SW to go than their old standbys. They're not going to base their stroll far off and have to constantly be taken back to dope area to buy dope. They want to be a few blocks away at the most so they can call up such-and-such and have their baggie ready when they ride up or even be staying in the same motel as the dealer and just go to their room and pick it up. They're not going to go to areas that are not 'dope neighborhoods'. It's almost like the other areas won't tolerate it and snuffs it out before it even gets started. The areas they walk are around neighborhoods where the dope dealers live, and even if you drive the SWs and dealers off the street they're still in the area so they'll always be around. That's why when people ask if they've moved, if you think about it, where would they go ? The only answers to SW disappearing is if cops did a sweep and arrested the SW and dealers, or if they're just holed up inside their motel rooms and have enough repeat clientele that they don't even have to come out to the stroll. With the heat and pressure cops seem to be putting onto the SW scene, I could see both of those as possibilities. But as far as going somewhere else other than the areas I've mentioned, where else would there be to go ?

Saw a very interesting possible WSW today. I stopped at the Chevron off of 1st by I-20 to get some gas and a nice looking white girl, 30ish, brown shoulder length hair, nice body, walks past the pumps over to the pay phones. There have been more than one person on here, myself included, who has reported how Lacey will get with you the first time and perform excellent. Then the next time you try to get with her she acts like she's eager to get with you, all holes are open and all that good stuff. I saw an old SW yesterday, though I wasn't even looking for anyone. I stopped to get gas and this somewhat plump girl with a permed hairdo comes in behind me and I hear 'hey dude, you remember me ?'. I glance around and see she's talking to me, and I recognize her as a cleaned up and healthy looking Christina, the girl who always walked Woodlawn looking sweaty with scabs on her face, arms and legs. She was actually pretty for the first time in a long time, and looked like a biker chick somewhat. She tells me she's been clean now for two years and that she's married now. Looking back through the 'general reports' forum two years might be stretching it, but it has been over a year since anyone's really reported seeing her. Recently I had thought I'd seen her on a street down from 50th playing with kids in a yard every so often when I passed by. I asked her if that was her, to which she said yes. I'm happy for her, as she'd about hit rock bottom. She was always someone I felt sorry for anytime I'd see her out there. I was reading another cities thread and a poster made an observation that is quite accurate, and probably very well explains the lack of semi-quality to quality SW on the streets as of late. This idea could hold true for any city you visit of late. That poster described SW in a 'class' scale relating to looks and availability, from I to III. I took his theory and added to it with my own observations.

Class I SW are SW who constantly keep a cell phone, and always have coverage, they get something like the $50 unlimited cell phone plans and disappear off the streets. They're the higher end of the SW 10 scale, and ones we'd call diamonds-in-the-rough. Those you'd only see on the streets when the phone is not ringing. His theory is most mongers prefer not to drive endlessly, so those higher end SW almost always receive calls and don't have to venture out on the street. He also estimates that their availability on the streets as 1-in-10.

Class II are SW who have cell phones, at least the device itself, but usually have no minutes. They're also at the middle of the scale on a SW 10 chart, so their demand isn't always high. Because of that they're available on the streets on and off. His estimate of their availability on the streets is 1-in-4.

Class III SW are the lower rung of the SW, the ones who have no option but walking the strolls. They're the nasty looking ones, and ones most of us would never pick up. They make up about 2-in-3 of the crowd, and are the ones you usually see out walking lately.

This makes sense. Cells are cheap now, as are the ability to put minutes on them without having to sign up for plans with IDs and the like. It's gotten so now-a-days that anybody can own a cell phone, even if they have hardly no money. I've seen bums walking the streets with cell phones. Watch the First 48 and see how many homeless looking people on there have a cell phone. So it's not hard to see how a SW who is reasonably good with their funds and realize the importance of having a cell with minutes would always keep it filled up. And even if they aren't very bright, there's always going to be some monger who comes along and puts that idea into their mind to get one so they don't have to walk the street. There's probably even mongers who would buy them a phone for that very purpose. I've previously viewed a pre-paid cell as being expensive especially when it coms to the price of minutes. I used to always be surprised when I'd see a SW with an active cell phone, because I've been around many SW in the past and know how bad SW are with using money for ANYTHING but dope. Plus there's not many SW I've ever picked up that actually have a cell phone, which also explains their being on the street, lol. SW I know are always losing their cells if they had one, either that or they have no minutes. They also use every last dime they have to buy crack, and I just can't see any money being used otherwise. I just don't see a SW, regardless of how good she looks, being addicted to crack and being able to regularly pay a cell bill. I see it moreso a monger getting the phone for them and keeping the bill paid or keeping minutes on it, than the girl doing it.

It's just not worth it to me anymore to take that kind of risk. Not to mention, the motels are their home base, and it's less likely you'll be satisfied if you go to their room than if you take them to some location of your choosing.

I've gotten to where when I monger at night, I really don't stray from main roads or roads that directly take me to a main road. That way they can't say I'm somewhere I don't need to be. I also always have a fool proof, unique reason for being out on the main drags at any time of day or night, and it's worked every time I've gotten stopped since I started using it.

ABC 33/40 weekend anchor Roy Hobbs, who Birmingham police said was arrested over the weekend on drug charges, is on temporary leave according to station officials.

Birmingham police on Friday night stopped Hobbs in the Woodlawn area and found him in possession of crack-cocaine and a crack pipe, Birmingham police spokesman Sgt. Johnny Williams Jr. confirmed Wednesday.

The arresting officer had stopped Hobbs in the 6800 block of First Avenue North on a previous occasion with a known prostitute, suspended license, and no proof of insurance, according to an arrest report.

The officer gave Hobbs a warning and let him go. The same officer saw Hobbs in the area again Friday. This time he was alone, the report stated.

When asked what he was doing in the area, Hobbs said "he was looking for a girl," the report states.

The report said Hobbs admitted to having crack-cocaine under the driver's seat. The report states he was under the influence of drugs.

Hobbs was taken to the city jail, and then the Jefferson County Jail on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hobbs was booked into the county jail Saturday at 3:29 a.m. and released at 8:35 a.m. His bond was set at $800.

He has a court appearance scheduled for May 10.

Efforts to reach Hobbs were unsuccessful Wednesday.

Mike Murphy, general manager of ABC 33/40, said Hobbs is on temporary leave, but declined further comment.

My daughter lives at (& give an valid address or a valid intersection), she called her car won't start, so going to see what's wrong with it or to give her a ride to work. ProblemchildCheyenne's been around at least 10 or so years. A girl I used to hang around with back in 98 and 99 used to know her and I dated her once around that time. Back then she hang around Avondale and East Lake. She's the one we've talked about on here before that looks like Hyapatia Lee. Eight people were arrested in a sweep last week to clean up prostitution in northeastern Birmingham, police said today.

The Birmingham Police Department's Vice Unit held a prostitution operation in the 5000 block of First Avenue North on April 22, said Sgt. Johnny Williams, public information officer for the police department.

Six people were arrested for soliciting for prostitution. Two others were arrested for loitering for prostitution.

The charges are misdemeanors, Williams said.

Nashville seems to be more of the escort scene compared to here. You'd think also with NFL and NHL teams as well as it being the hotbed of country music there would be more activity there than here. Yep, even if someone was to have been part of it best not to associate yourself with your identity here. Some people will say they were stopped the night before or give somewhat specific information. Went out for a cruise on Tuesday evening to have a look around for SW Julie that was posted pics a few posts back. Never found her, but ran into a cutie near the motel with no name on 1st Ave South. I was thinking, you can have fun doing stuff like that as long as you stay away from the drama aspect of it. I used to be big into hanging around girls I knew who were SW back in the day, but the constant drama wore me out. Now I just cruise looking for an occasional gem, and if I find one I want to see regularly I try to stay at an extended arms length from them to avoid the ever present drama associated with crackheads. I see girls like he reported most every time I go out mongering, I'm just not interested in probably 75% of the ones I see, nor am I usually setting out mongering feeling like I must get off even once before I go back home. If you're intend to have a successful time while mongering, it's true the way he went about handling the ones that were tweaking is the best route if you expect to come away satisfied while still letting her have her money she wants so bad. Many times have we all came away burned by encountering some feigning crackhead who ran away with our money. I've always though when people post rules about how to monger trying to keep things like that from happening to a new monger, that's honestly something that almost must happen to a newbie in order for them to know what to expect and to better deal with it. I learned without 'rules' and without the internet and other mongers telling me how to do it.

Those were better days, when you could go out and find girls on the street at all hours as there were less ways of communication back then and they had to stroll to find dates. I got to town this evening and needed a little TLC. I went for a drive, just looking around. I made a couple of passes around the Tourway and spotted a cute brunette on the lot, waved at her and she motioned for me to park.

It's hit and miss. The street you mention is called Tuscaloosa Avenue heading west once you pass that gas station. The road over to the left from it is called Cotton Avenue, and the street that intersects them by that gas station is Center Street. If you'll go back to the first page of this thread and see my post of where to find SW in the area, this area you're mentioning is # 6 on that list and those streets are mentioned there. That area used to be alot more active than it is now, and it's hit and miss now. But all areas around town have been hit and miss these last few years. I'll say if you like black SW then this area is a good place to look, but if you'd prefer white SW then you might want to head over to the eastern side of town around the area where 1st Avenue No and 50th Street is that's discussed more often on here. If you want to find girls on this side of town, though, then you will also want to find the road Parker High School is on called 8th Avenue. This is the road that runs on the back side of Legion Field. It's more active than Tuscaloosa Ave is, and always has been. Basically you'll just need to ride around the area and make yourself familiar with it, as there's always the chance you'll see a girl in some odd place. I know in my years I've seen them everywhere. Lately with the fact you could ride for hours and not see anyone, it also helps to enjoy the hunt.

Your Man. Clark is right in his response to you. I always looked at mongering as hunting or fishing. I have never been a hunter, but I love to fish. And with fishing, you can come to a certain spot on the lake that you KNOW should have some fish there,but you come up empty. No matter how long you stay, or what you do, you end up with nothing. Or you could load the boat up. Just like fishing mongering is always hit or miss. When I was real into it, the "hunt" was as much fun as the actual pickup. Especially on those days, or nights when everything comes together. There's not a better feeling than finding a gem off the beaten path at a perfect pickup spot, and with no one around. You circle a few times to do some recon, and then it's on. With Birmingham's finest on the prowl, you better be damn sure what you pick up is a legitament sw. You better have your "story" as to why you just picked up a woman in the middle of the ghetto, before you even get in the car. Something like "you looked familiar", "didn't we go to school together?", something like that. As opposed to having a twenty dollar bill and a rubber laid out on the console. There's nothing against the law to pick someone up. But if it feels 'fishy" to you, put her butt out, and save yourself from being a name in the newspaper. As I've said many times on here, that episode of First 48 with Angel(which airs at 7 on thursday night, I believe)
put an end to my running around. I don't want to be the "last person someone was seen with" if something goes down. Sw are basically drug addicts, and there's no telling what drug addicts are up to. I picked up plenty of them who had their fix on them when I picked them up. Or dumb ass me, took them to get their fix, while I drove around the block or waited in a parking lot. Fishing & hunting is a fantastic summation of finding the right SW. Especially here of late in B'ham. With B'hams finest out now, it's a shame there is no "off city B'ham" limits or houses of "fun" where the hunting and fishing can provide the trophy SW we all want on our walls of memories.

It would appear that if the "boys" are on the hunt, the SW would go somewhere just outside of B'ham city limits. We know they are NOT going to stop working. Just my two cents. Stay out of sw houses. Find a sw and keep them on your turf. In my case it was always my vehicle. Going into some skeevy motel or some house was never my thing. Too much can go wrong. Sw will try to get you to do anything. Like parking in front of someone's house they "know", or going somewhere they think is good. For me it was all about being as comfortable as possible, without having to worry about some druggie's boyfriend robbing me or worse. And these days some thug hiding in the bathroom would rather cut your throat over $20 than look at you. To be a good mongerer, you've got to have some street smarts and common sense about you. Sw are going to be where the drugs are. And they are the greatest in the Bham city limits.

Regardless if you go out of the city limits of Birmingham, unless you go into one of the few unincorporated sections of the county, you're going to enter into another city. Whatever city you go into isn't going to be any more receptive to SW presence in their city than Birmingham is. Also, the Birmingham cops are no more or less active now than they have been in recent months. Just because Roper is flapping his lips on TV all the time doesn't mean the police presence is any different than it has been in the past. They've always been aggressive in the areas where SW walk, mainly because those areas are high crime areas. Look at the Birmingham episodes of First 48. Most, if not all, of the episodes occurred in active SW areas. But speaking of other cities, Bessemer has a pretty active SW presence, but the cops there are no different than Birmingham. I passed through Bessemer on numerous occasions last year and went through road blocks on the roads around the stadium where the SW activity is the busiest. I remember in Bessemer coming down the road by where the pharmacy is and seeing down by the stadium where there appeared to be some bad wreck blocking the intersection because there were flashing lights everywhere. So I turned off that street to go down to 150 to avoid the wreck. Well almost immediately about 3 cops came flying out on me and surrounded me. They then proceeded to question me as to why I was in the area and why I turned down the street evading the check point. I explained to them it looked more like a bad accident, and most people if they see what appears to be an accident and lots of flashing lights will turn off said street to go another way. Exactly as I did. Most times anyway if you approach a bad accident cops act like you are a fool for not seeing them ahead of time and taking another route. So they had a 'check point' disguised as an accident and cops hid at every turn off down that road watching for people trying to evade it. You can't worry about avoiding areas where cops are, that's just a part of it. You just need to have your sensible reason for being in the area handy in case you're stopped, and it's also a good idea to be on main roads or roads that carry you to main roads. Basically a white guy who lives in Vestavia going down an alley behind the Smithfield projects at 2 in the morning will be hard to explain. You've got to just go out in the environment and see the area and make yourself comfortable about it.

As Spiderman said, the SW are going to be where the dope is at, not off somewhere to avoid cops. They'd rather be within a short walk or drive to their dealer, than in some off the wall place that takes a while to get back and forth. Many SW accept being arrested as something that eventually will happen and that's just a chance they take to be in the area where the dope is. SW don't fear being arrested, they don't want to be but they don't fear it, so they're not worried about being in a hot area. It's their way of life, and something they know will occasionally happen.

As for not going inside anywhere, I also agree on that point. Besides the possibility of being robbed, there's also the greater chance you'll end up leaving unsatisfied. If you go inside their room or house, it's their territory, and everyone they hang with know all you are is a date and their goal is to part you with your money for the least amount of time and trouble. A common motel room scheme is within 5 minutes they'll get a call or a knock on the door which will be a date coming or some 'emergency' thus ending your session prematurely. You need to have an out of the way spot you feel comfortable going to where you can park and not be disturbed, at least somewhere you can spend enough time to get business done and leave without being noticed.

Hope all that helps. You need to be cautious, of course, but thinking too much into it will make you not be able to enjoy it even if you did go out mongering. For me, that would cause a case of nerves even viagra wouldn't help.

WH, if you read this, please try to post the SW reports here. I saw you posted one a day or so ago in the 'general reports' section, and while that might have been where we used to post about SW we need to try to help consolidate things here as best we can.

I'd hate to be someone visiting a city trying to search for certain topics, when they're spread over two or three folders. SW posts are here and in the General section. CL posts are in it's folder and General. BP has it's own folder but keeps getting discussed in CL, as well as General. I almost think it best with all the confusing amount of folders now it almost makes sense to lock the 'General Reports' folder where things can be posted to more specific topics. It wouldn't correct all of them but would give people less choices in where to post a topic.

Yeah, her address listed is in the Norwood area, only a few blocks from the 31st Street intersection where the McDs and Shell are. There used to be several decent young looking SW who used to roam that area, but they've venished in the last couple of years. That set of yellow colored houses a couple of blocks down from Shell used to be an area where girls were, as well as the road where the Cosmos club is. Lately all I see are lanky looking black girls hanging out at the Shell, nothing of the quality I used to find.

I recently moved back to the Ham and wow-tumbleweeds on the streets. I have been catching up on my reading of this site and want to comment on the cash-dash posts.

My experience has been: Half up front and the other (plus the mention of a possible tip, though I do not) after the show. If she is not up for it, and cannot accept my 'don't want to be burned' policy, let her walk. I have actually been lucky enough to walk away donating less and being more critical of her attitude or performance-turn the tables, so to speak.

Though kinda shitty, I was burned a while back in Louisiana (go figure) and called her back a few weeks later hoping she wouldn't recognize the number. She set the time and place (Upscale location. Motel 6), and asked that I place the and envelope on the dresser of the hotel upon arrival. I did so, and before she could even touch it, I began kissing her. She didn't know what hit her. Until I was dressing quickly and headed for the door. Inside the envelope: a ten and ten ones. I informed her of the burn from 2 weeks prior and walked out the door assuming there would be a scene. All I got was "F**king A**hole! "

Ez Rydr, it's always nice to get girls back at their own game they play, and it's especially nice to pay them back for their lack of interest at performing. I got a kick out of your story, and have done things like that a few times on my own which I've probably mentioned here in the past, though I'll briefly recant them again for those who haven't heard them.

There's this girl whose been around the Woodlawn area now off and on for at least the last 20 years named Robin. I first met her back in 1990, I believe. She told me she was 21, but could have passed for a school girl. Either way, I always enjoyed my time with her back then. Back about 10 years ago I ran into her again and this time she was staying at the Relax in Woodlawn. I don't believe she remembered me and I didn't try to refresh her memory to it. Anyway I went in her motel room with her, and this is one of my lessons I learned as to why I don't go in them anymore. We got in there and she immediately wanted her payment and then wanted to immediately get to business without a BJ or anything to help me. I gave her $30, which consisted of three 10's, that she layed on the nightstand by the bed. So we get started, and not 2 minutes in she starts asking am I about done. Then the phone rings and she answers it. Lo and behold it's another customer who she's got to get ready for so she jumps up and tells me she's got to get cleaned up and all, basically telling me my time was up. I was pissed, but not wanting to start a scene at a roach motel in cracktown. So I dressed, then noticed my money was still laying on the nightstand, so I picked up those tens and put a five that was in my pocket on the stand, then headed out the door. By the time I got to my car and was pulling out she noticed and was running toward me screaming she was going to call the cops, get me back, blah blah. I just yelled at her that maybe the dude that was on his way could fund her habit, since she seemed more interested in servicing him than me. Another thing that happened which I told the story of in a PM the other day was when I picked this drunk and high SW up probably 10 years ago now back when I used to bring some of them back to my place. The girl was a knockout, but was drunk as shit. When we got there we went to the bed and she wanted to start giving me a BJ right away. Well I'd already taken what money I was going to give her out before I picked her up and put it in my coat pocket, and didn't have any more cash on me in the first place. I believe I saw the girl with the red-tinted hair today while passing through. It wasn't the girl in either of the pics Blad posted, though like them she did look like she could also be in her 40's. That girl's name is Michelle, if it's the one I'm thinking of. Last summer she was staying at a house one block behind the Shell at the intersection of 3rd West and the road that turns into Arkadelphia. She got arrested around that time last year and was in jail for a good while and got released a couple months ago. That's how I got her name, though that might not be her street name. I've seen her lately hanging out at the Mexican apartments across the road from the Hong Kong Seafood place. Last year when she was hanging around behind the Shell she gave me that attitude as well. I believe I've had dealings with her a while ago and don't remember it as being good so I wasn't interested in picking her up. Last summer, there used to be a few other girls that used to walk between Graymont and 3rd around that time. When I was trying to see what they looked like up close Michelle got the idea I was trying to hook up with her and started flailing her arms and getting into the street with attitude when I'd pass by, lol.

Remember like I've said before, many SW aren't worried about getting arrested. So if they're feigning and needing a fix they're going to make a scene for all the world to see if they need the means to acheive it, lol. That should show you how she'd probably be once you picked her up as well. Ones like that seem more trouble to deal with than it's worth.

With around two decades of mongering, I've dealt with all types of situations and done and experienced most everything imaginable in that time. That's why in that time I've learned a few life lessons I could not have learned otherwise if it hadn't happened to me. That's why I feel I need to make a comment regarding forming romantic relationships with SW since I've actually done that more than once in my time mongering. It's just a comment from experience, nothing more.

Where you meet someone doesn't matter. What does matter is if they've got an addiction and how serious that addiction is, and whether they are using you as a means toward an end at meeting their needs for that addiction. I got into the SW scene and dove in head first right at the start. I was dumb and foolish. I'm not proud of it looking back on it, and part of me wishes I could just go back and erase it all. I've told about my experiences before, to a degree. When I started mongering, I was a young, shy, inexperienced fool. Inexperienced at most everything. I was at a lonely place in my life, and needed to feel wanted at the time. The girl I found while mongering made me feel wanted, but I soon learned the hard way about the lengths people will go to when they're addicted.

When I first met her she was on dilaudids, but a few months later someone introduced her to crack and that became her drug of choice. With the dilaudids, a half a pill and she was fine for over 12 hours, and we used to spend all that time together and have fun and everything. During that time we got close, and that's when I met her family. When she got on crack she turned into a different person, basically the common crack persona you see in all crack addicts. Once she got on crack that's all she wanted, and she wasn't ever satisfied. She saw that I cared about her and used that as a way to get funds for her habit without having to sell herself. As long as she could do it, she did it, until I finally saw through it. I alienated myself from my family and my friends because of her. I got to where I had no money, even the very night I was paid. I sold things I regret to this day doing. I did this because in my mind I loved her and remembered how we used to be before the crack, and I was trying to do what I could to satisfy what she needed all the while trying to keep her from selling herself. I'm sure she knew how I felt, and maybe she felt that way, too, somewhere inside, but her addiction was more powerful than anything else. That addiction drove her to do what she had to for her fix. Because of the addiction, it was the crack that she loved. Her lips said what they had to to get me to supply her with the money to fund it. I didn't see that until I was almost at rock bottom.

For about a year there I lived the crack lifestyle while not actually doing it. I couldn't fund all her habit but I was still with her, and was around while she'd make her money for the habit. I was her boyfriend, and that's what the other girls and their guys knew me as. I wasn't actually doing crack, but I'm sure I breathed in enough second hand smoke to get high plenty of times between her doing it and all her friends doing it as well. I told her she never could sit back and enjoy her high because when she had it she was always trying to figure out where the next money was going to come from, who had more crack and talking general BS drama. I was wide open with her 24/7 for a while, hardly ever sleeping, running here and there, all the time day and night. When I finally stood back and saw where I'd put myself, I decided I had to make a clean break from it all immediately, and that's what I did. I got my heart hurt out of it, but it was a learning experience.

I got completely away from the SW scene for over 2 years because of it, and still now when I monger it's always at a long arms length. That's how come now when I see myself starting to get too interested or involved with a girl addicted to something, I take a step back. I've seen myself on a few occasions since then putting myself into situations that's similar, and I have to remind myself of the past. An addict will do whatever they have to to get their next fix, whether it be suck your dick or pretend they care about you. As long as the funds are flowing everything is fine. It's when the funds disappear you see what's really important. And like I said somewhere inside they actually might care - but as long as they're addicted, it's the addiction that will win out. Every situation is different, but most every SW story involves an active addiction to something that makes them similar.

That's just my personal insight from an experience 20 long years ago.

Well I got to thinking and small world that it is. This Dana chick. A buddy of mine was married to her younger sister as he confirmed it Sunday. So I talked to the little sister and asked where her middle sister Dana was. She flat out told me I could find her at the "Super 8" on 1st. So this means what you may ask. It means be very careful if you pick that one up guys. She is a bad iv drug user and according to her sister is wanted in Florida for possession with intent to distribute heroin. Add to this she already has hepatitis b and god knows what else.

I understand where you're coming from, I was married to an addict for years and I'm an addict myself although I hide it well. I don't have 20 years of experience about picking up girls from the street or dating escorts/hookers but I'm well aware of what it means financially and emotionally to love an addict. I know what I'm getting into, and I also know there is an extremely high probability its all going to blow up in my face.

Isn't it interesting how there's always a connection somewhere to various girls who walk the street. I've told the story before about how one of the local girls used to be a cheerleader at my school, one who grew up close by to me and who knos many people that I do and there's another one whose extended family lives down the road from me.

WH, I also understand some of where you're coming from as well. When I was with her I wasn't doing any type drug at all. I even would pass out pills I'd get since I didn't take them. A couple of years later I had dental surgery and received percocet and that was my first taste of pain pills, and I've been doing some type of pain pill off and on since then. The relationships are just a recipe for trouble and heartache. It was certainly a one way street, especially when the crack kicked in. That's why I say all drugs are different, because when she was on dilaudid I saw her moreso for the person she was, or as close as she was going to be. That was the person I was always trying to get back. Once she got on the crack it took me being broke and out of gas in her hometown 50 or so miles from home - and to see her basically leave me where I ran out - for me to see what mattered most to her. That was an empty feeling in more ways than one, and a feeling I always remind myself of if I feel myself becoming too attached to any SW anymore.

I was out this morning and may have seen the short skirt girl who was hanging out around the Motel 8. This girl is Robin. She's the girl I talked about who 10 years ago I traded the money I paid her for a $5 as I left because of poor service. It was described in detail only a couple of pages back. She's to be avoided as she's nothing but total drama. Back when I first met her in the early 90's she was between 18-21, which she and I debated, and was a young thing and really hot. Now she looks horrid, and like an extra in a horror movie screaming 'braaaaaains'. She's been out there basically since I started mongering. 20 years. Seeing girls out on the street that long makes me sad.

Ok, let me say this right off the bat this report deals with Talladega and not B'ham. But I decided to post it here because there are more readers in this forum and I am sure more experience with business and legal items.

I was driving in Talladega on 17th Street, it was raining prety hard. I saw a white female walking down a stretch of the road that was nothing but woods for about 1/2 mile. I was not looking for any action, but was just interested in helping some get out of the rain.

I pull over, ask if she needs a ride, she runs over gets in an thanks me. I ask her where does she need to go. She tells me she was heading to a friends house so she could get $20 as she was flat broke. She told me her friend lived out on Ashland Hwy, almost to Stockdale road. I told her that certainly was a very long way to walk in the rain to get $20. She asked if I was married. I said no, which is true. She asked if I would be interested in a date. I said I don't know, I only date women with pretty titties. She pulls up her shirt and exposes a nice set of see cups. Then asks if she qualify, I reach over and feel of them real good, told her yes, she had real nice tits and she qualified.

So I ask what does she want. She relies $20 for BJ, $40 for everything I say cool, I need a good BJ.

She suggest we go to her friends house so we can be more comfy. I decline and tell he I did not feel comfortable going into someones house that I did not know but that I knew of a place off hwy 21 south that was safe.

I say to her, well I am sure they are looking for you and the car. She tells me that she lost license for dui and did not renew car license nor insurance and she had the car hidden somewhere. She laughed said them dumb SOB's are out of luck as she will never pay a penny.

So we get to the hidden spot, which I had not considered the rain, its a dirt road that is muddy but driveable but car is a mess. I know people run into hard times and titlepawn their cars and at least try to make paymenyt, I know the interest rate s like %200-%300 and its hard to pay those places off. But to do what she did, should be against the law.

People do stuff like that all the time, Sadsammy, and it doesn't even have to be someone hooked on some type of dope either. It certainly doesn't surprise me to hear about something like that happening. I've heard all kinds of stories like that from the various girls through the years. It's no different than in the past with someone maxing out a credit card intending on filing bankruptcy. Sometimes the only reason someone would do things like that is because they know they can get some quick money. She probably got hooked on crack or whatever and still had some things she could use toward getting money and did so, never intending on paying it back. I doubt they'd be able to prove when she originally got it that she never intended on paying it back. People like that aren't worried about the reprocussions until they have no other choice but to face it. That's why I gave the warning about getting emotionally involved with girls like that because they certainly would have no problem putting someone else's finances in ruin just to get money for dope, and with that it's not their problem.

Well, like I said it's not just SWs. It could be anybody down on their luck, maybe hooked on dope, or someone sour at the world and just wanting their piece of the pie. It comes down to how much of a conscience someone has, and how much it'll bother them. If you watch the First 48 shows, most detectives will try to play on the culprits conscience bothering them keeping what they did to themselves. Think about the people that write bad checks. Most know they have no money in their account. On the mug shot site you'll see people arrested for bad checks and they'll have sometimes over 30 charges against them - that's 30 different checks they wrote that were bad. You know they had to know they didn't have the funds to cover it. Most everybody has some form of dishonesty in them, but most aren't willing to go so far to do it blatantly implicating themselves like she did, lol.

Now that's a subject that I regretfully am very familiar with. My ex-wife whom I joyfully refer to as My Last Wife (1988 divorced) wrote a ton of bad checks before I divorced her. ( I got the kids and the bills, but we made it fine).

I was making about $11 an hour back then which was good money. She wrote 64 bad checks, with a bank charge of $8 per check, for a total of $512 in bad check charges in one month. Not counting I had to borrow money from credit union and my dad just to pick up the bad checks plus their bad check fee, most of checks were for CASH, plus she got arrested in 2 different towns and one of our cars got repo'd.

I was working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for several years with all the overtime i was making over $50k a year which was a lot of money in 1988 for blue collar work, while she was out spending money on who knows what (drugs i strongly suspected).

Man that brings back memories of some dark days in my life.

My kids are grown, have college degrees, and have decent to good paying jobs. But with the economy the way it is, I am just thankful that they have a job.

Lot of girls picked up on 1st Ave N in Eastlake today. The dealers leave the area, the girls go indoors, all thats left on the street are the bottom tier hookers with no place to stay, money for rent, and a drug habit on their back.

Once a couple girls or dealers get picked up, the people in the life go underground and wait it out if they can.

Today was an interesting day, met a lot of the people in the life. There are a lot more girls working than it appears just from driving around and looking, including some that I would have been interested in dating if I wasn't into a certain other girl in a big way right now.

Also, I think I realize why the working girls talk so much shit about each other. You know always telling you about the other girls steals or the other girl has diseases. Once a working girl starts telling the other girls you're her boyfriend instead of you're her client then the other girls will start trying whatever they can do to get with you. I've had more pussy thrown at me the last few weeks than ever at any other time in my life, and its sort of weird because my philosophy has always been if there is pussy available, get it. Now I'm being monogamous for a woman who gets paid to have sex - crazy huh ?

Its nice because we're past the point of me paying her, I don't have to pay her unless its a situation where I don't want her to do a date then I admit I give her money so she won't have to work. But there is a drawback that if she needs to work, that means I have to somehow deal with the idea someone else is screwing her and thats not always easy but the positive part is that when she's done she calls me and the phone gets turned off and I know she's mine, and then she's in a good mood since she doesn't feel she has to ask me for money.

Another drawback to getting involved with working girl is that sooner or later someone will hit her or rob her and then you're bound to get pulled into that drama, but fortunately thats pretty easy business to handle because street justice can be bought for a carton of cigarettes and no need to personally get your hands dirty.

Non-stop drama WH. It will wear you out. Trust me. I was in it full force for almost a year, and on and off for two. It's a never ending real life drama. You get no sleep, end up feeling used, and when it comes down to it it's the dope that wins out in the end. Being 'in' the life is alot different than looking at it from the outside. But it will wear you out very quick. The difference between me back then and you now, is back then I wasn't on any type of dope, and never had tried anything at all more than a sip of beer when I was younger. So maybe you can handle the drama and stress of it all better than I did. I was the youngest of the people I hung with, but they all trusted me and let me sit in while the dealers cut and made their stuff. I know how it is to be on the inside.

I also know how it is about the other girls knowing you're a certain girls boyfriend, because then they know she has an always available ride or money if need be, and that she'll have food if she needs it. Those others don't have that and have to fend for themselves, so they try to get you interested in them.

What wore me out more than anything is the lack of down time. There was never any time to sleep. Plus she didn't eat hardly anything, and when she did it was just donut sticks and Diet Cokes. The Diet Cokes were because she thought she was diabetic and was intended to cancel out the donut sticks she ate. Mhm. Oh I forgot the Marlboro Lights. Those were part of the diet, as well. At least 2 trips to the store a day for donut sticks, Diet Coke and Marlboro Lights. For most of the girls she hung with it was the same routine. It was always make money for dope, smoke dope, ride to where money is, or ride to where dope is, then repeat one of those. The drama is constant. Always talking about what one person did or didn't do, what crazy perverted sexual stuff such and such date wanted, who got arrested, who thought which girl or dealer shorted them on money or dope or both. Back then people had to go places to contact people, now they can sit in a room and use their cell. Even a homeless guy walking down the street now has a cell, lol. I imagine now how the situation is different with everyone having cell phones and can pass along info and call at the spur of the moment when back then all we had was pay phones and occasionally motel room phones. I was happy to be left in the room alone for a while so I could take a nap. I wasn't used to that lifestyle. But it was constant and non-stop 24 hours straight. The girls will eventually wear themselves out and they'll crash, and will end up sleeping for days straight because of it. The girl I knew would go back home for a week or so for her down time. The problem was there was dope where she lived as well, so she'd occasionally get started on it up there and we'd be in that scene for a while as well.

I had the same thoughts in my mind about being 'with' her and then her selling herself for her habit. But I couldn't supply it all, far from it. So I had to deal with it. Back then the SW scene was more active on the 4th Avenue area downtown and the west side around the Town Motel and Tourway, but the Woodlawn/East Lake side was also coming up. Although those areas were in essence separate, kind of like the Bessemer area is to the east side now. Meaning the girls on one end seldom made their way to the other end. She generally was around the Tourway and Town. I'd occasionally go over to Woodlawn when we needed our space, and that's where I ran into Robin I mentioned recently, and a few others.

I also had several close calls with the cops, as well as problems in the scene itself. I was in a room at the Town Motel with probably 5 or more SW and about 3 or 4 dealers and there was crack being packaged by several in there. Suddenly a knock at the door. "Open up Birmingham Police !" Everyone hides their stuff, not really hiding, but just out of plain sight. About 4 cops come in, and they start asking everyone's age and info, but never ask mine. That's when I saw I was the youngest amongst the group. Basically someone staying there had called to complain about noise, so that's all it was. They left, but I felt I had dodged a very big bullet. She and I also got stopped one time when I had picked her up to carry her back where she was staying, but because where I picked her up was in hot SW area, it was assumed I was a 'john' picking up a date. Another time we got stopped with a dude she got her dilaudids from in my back seat. Then one time I dropped her off at a place where she occasionally got her dope and this rival dope guy we knew appears as I'm riding by and shoots a shotgun filled with rock salt into the place, busting the windows and all. Then I'm in the middle of that since I was the only one who saw him do it and he had seen me. It was basically a dope war with people selling too close to each other.

We talk about the mongering hunt, and enjoying the search as much as finding them. Getting into the lifestyle is a different animal altogether, but it also has it's call as well. Anytime I get too close to a certain girl I might meet I feel the same way I did all those years ago when I was into it over my head. All I have to do is remember all the stress it caused me and unnecessary problems and I end those thoughts right there. Like I said, as long as a girl is hooked on some kind of drug, that's going to be their main love. Even if they want something other than that as long as they're on it the pull of the dope will always be insurmountable for them.

I'm sure you don't remeber, Clark, but I asked your advice one time about this girl I found that was fairly new to the life. I should have taken it. She was from Tarrant and had a kid she needed to take care of and seemed awfully sweet when she was straight. I thought she was very attractive and it was some of the best I've ever had. I don't know why it happens, but sometimes you're just smitten beyond all logic. I chased after her a while, spent lots of time and money with people I would normally lock my car doors if I saw them on the street. I got to the point that I was trusted by most of these people though I could tell that they were laughing at me. But, I was too far gone and didn't care. Luckily I had a close call that broke the trance. I stumbled out of a "lovely" motel room close to Avondale Park after almost going to jail when a cab driver friend grabbed my arm and said, "Get your ass back to your life and away from her before you wind up in jail, addicted or dead. " I had been planning on getting her away from all of this and creating a family around her. Fat chance! Thank God for that cabbie. He may have saved my life. BTW, I see this girl in and out of the county hotel regularly. Looking rough.

I can bet which 'job' ends up winning out in the end. It's surprising how many SW have told me they work at a Waffle House or Omelet Shoppe, lol. They may very well have, but if they're cracking it up when they're not at work sooner or later they'll miss work because of it and end up not having that job. I did see a SW I knew as Giggles working at the Woodlawn McDonalds a year or so ago, so she was at least trying to do something productive. I also remember back in the late 90's I was at a light on Oporto and this girl who worked at the Eastwood McDonalds was walking to work and asked for a ride, then ended up asking if I wanted to date before her shift, lol. Another girl who I picked up on 1st in the 90's told me she was a cashier at Eckerds in Huffman, and I went by to see and sure enough she was.

I'm sure you don't remeber, Clark, but I asked your advice one time about this girl I found that was fairly new to the life. I should have taken it. She was from Tarrant and had a kid she needed to take care of and seemed awfully sweet when she was straight. I thought she was very attractive and it was some of the best I've ever had. I don't know why it happens, but sometimes you're just smitten beyond all logic. Luckily I had a close call that broke the trance. I stumbled out of a "lovely" motel room close to Avondale Park after almost going to jail when a cab driver friend grabbed my arm and said, "Get your ass back to your life and away from her before you wind up in jail, addicted or dead. " I had been planning on getting her away from all of this and creating a family around her. Fat chance! Thank God for that cabbie. He may have saved my life. BTW, I see this girl in and out of the county hotel regularly. Looking rough.


I have a good memory. Telling me Tarrant and in and out of jail tells me it's Rosa Mae. I've noticed she gets arrested about every 4 to 6 months. I wondered what happened to her. She's another one I've never actually 'seen' on the street. I know exactly what you're talking about, as I followed that same path you did, myself. You have to tell yourself to stop, it's just the same way with someone addicted to drugs. Until you see what you've gotten into you're not going to realize what's actually happening. My friends and my family all knew I was seeing a girl who was doing drugs - not all of them knew the whole story but they knew the drug part. I got lectures and talks and so on, but until I saw it for myself and realized I was heading nowhere in the fast lane all the talks would do no good. I had to end up alone, broke and virtually out of gas an hour away from home to see where I'd put myself. And for the girls, it's usually some type of bad life that got them on that path and they have no desire to quit the drugs because reality is worse than the 'high life' they're on. They're also not scared of the police and being arrested, it's just something they know will happen sooner or later. That's why they end up back on the street almost immediately after they're released. Being put in jail is nothing more than a vacation from the drugs or them, and it actually makes them detox so the drug has more of an effect on them. They reappear plumper which makes them more attractive to dates, and it's back to business as usual. But I have to believe the girls do see that you care by being there. And who knows, like I said, the girl might deep down somewhere inside feel the same way. But as long as the drug calls them that's going to be stronger than any pull the heart can muster.

The Apex. Yep, that was another motel I frequented back then as well. I used to ride through there as well, but that's another place that you can't see a thing on the other side when you're in back of it. I learned the hard way when I rode through there and came back out and there was a cop facing my way sitting at the gas station across the street. He didn't stop me, but he lit up every light he had for a second or so, which told me enough. That used to be an area I passed through all the time, as girls could be at the gas stations on either side of the interstate. A route I used to take would carry me by them and then down to McDonalds on Finley, but I changed my route when I got stopped and harassed by some fuckwipe cops with know-it-all attitudes. How hard is it to believe that someone, wanting something to eat, got off at the wrong exit and rode a few blocks through the neighborhood to get to McDonalds, finding it closed, then headed back toward the on ramp ? Obviously they did. I passed by THEIR prostitutes and THEIR drug houses. Psh. It's all a good area to search but even the roads that appear to be 'main' roads are roads most of us wouldn't be on normally, lol. I generally do one pass through and then leave when I go that way.

I used to spend a good deal of time at the old Apex. Now I look at it and shudder at how many close calls I've had in that roachatorium. What a nasty, seedy, rat infested, hell that was. I've paid for a room by the hour and the bed would still be warm from the last monger and skank. I'll never be there again.

I don't know of the girls you mentioned, but chances are they were dropped off there, or are staying at one of the motels close by. No. I never could catch the girl without hag momma tagging along. I asked who I now know as Susan about the younger girl she always walked with, and she tried to get me to pay her to introduce me to her, but I declined. The daughter lives up in Guin Alabama, thats why you don't see her much. But she drives an old model pickup truck that is often parked on 8th next to Susan's house. The daughter doesn't look any better than Susan does though.

It's mostly only construction workers from out of town staying there now, and only has one person that operates it. As a matter of fact, if you are thinking of traveling to Guin, Winfield, or any of those towns in Northwest alabama to monger, it will be a big waste of time and gas. And, it might even land you some unwanted trouble with the Leo, becuase the people up that way are very watchful and mindful of suspicious activity, and will call any in very quickly! About the closest town that you might find some action in would be Jasper, and even that is hit and miss. However, drugs, mainly meth has taken over a lot of people in Guin and Winfield, so it would appear that there would be a few desperate users out trying to support their habbit. But, even those few get picked up by leo as soon as they hit the street. Not a good place to monger!

Yeah, I haven't been through there in probably 10 years now. I used to go to Alabama & UAB football and basketball games and Bham Steeldogs games alot from the late 80s to early 2000s and made many trips through there back then. The last time I can really remember heading through there had nothing to do with actual sports, however. I had been talking to a girl online who lived in Kentucky and had relatives in northern Mississippi. I went up to Fulton, Ms to meet up with her one evening for some fun and spent the night with her there. I didn't get hardly any sleep, and woke up 2 hours before I needed to be somewhere down here. Went out last night and saw quite a few girls out and about. If anyone remembers the girl who always stood by the bus company on 1st with a dress on, well she was hanging around the Motel 8 and up and down the first block of 50th St. She has ditched the dress in favor of a shirt and shorts. Anybody who might be visiting our metro area and might be wondering where my 'Where to Find SW' thread that used to be a sticky is, go to the last page of this thread and it's one of the first posts of this thread. I felt it was a good idea to post it as a sticky for our visitors, but apparently it was viewed as an unneeded extra thread. I'll post a message every so often saying where to find it. I've already had a few inquiries to me asking where it is from people who visit here who's used it before. You'd think if a two year old thread about LEO visiting 'super Sauna' can remain, then a thread telling people general info of where to find SW on any given day would be left as well. If it was some weekly post from Monger John that he found Angie at Lizard Lane Motel on Tuesday night and she had a tight red dress on, then yes. But this was an overall 'where SW are in the metro area' type of thread for visitors, not a bi-weekly report of who was at the Bama.

Yeah, the one I think is Kesha is in pic 16. I'm pretty sure that's her. She has what might be her mom and 3 kids with her. The last mug shot I saw of her she looked so drugged and spaced out she probably didn't know where she was. She's not been around the area for several years now. It's good to see some can straighten their lives up, though it wouldn't surprise me one bit to eventually see her out on the stroll again.

I pass by Lovelady most times I go out, but the girls that live there who would be trying to actually date wouldn't be around the building. Yes, lol, that's what a girl I used to know did. The one in Roebuck is down a dead end road right off Hwy 11. You can see if from the street. I went there a couple of times with her and saw many possible prospects. It seems they line up early at those places, lol. Lots of addict guys hanging around there, though.

LOL, the same old hags are out no matter what time of day it is. Finding a diamond in the rough takes patience and luck, and just being at the right place at the right time. The summer months are absolutely the worst times to monger, especially in the daytime. In the past I was a regular daytime mongerer. I have seen a couple of new girls, or at least new to me, out in the past few days.

On Highway 11 at Brighton the other afternoon a young blonde about 5'6 or so. Looked clean, short blue jean skirt and white blouse waving and friendly. Well, there's liable to be girls out in the daytime just because there's more activity and people riding by for them to snag possible dates. I always say the girls are going to be out and about whenever they run out of drugs or money, and that doesn't matter day or night. I tend to like mongering at night because there's less competition from other mongers, and if you see a girl walking chances are when you've came back around she'll still be there. I'm very cautious, and will never pick up a girl the first time I see her. I always circle a few times to check out the surroundings and to try to get her to move to a less conspicuous place. If you try doing this in the daytime, there's a good chance another more bold monger will swoop in and pick her up right on the main road.

I also dislike daytime mongering in the summertime as well. The main reason is the fact that these girls sometimes will be out walking back and forth on the stroll for an hour or more at a time. If you pick them up they'll be hot, stinky, sweaty, sticky and overall nasty. I've encountered that many times in my years of mongering. Most of us can't afford that to happen, and just being arrested would be as bad as being convicted. As I said, each person's opinion and way they feel comfortable handling things is different.

Basically what I was meaning about staying on main roads at night is most areas where SW walk are in high crime areas. There's usually less traffic at night. If you're in those areas and riding through projects or inside neighborhoods with only one way out in the middle of the night it's more likely you'll get noticed if a cop happens to ride through. If someone's of the caucasian persuasion, it's easier to explain why at 1 AM you would be riding down 1st Avenue North than it is to explain why at that same time you would be riding through side roads in the Smithfield projects.

Day time or night time doens't make a big difference. Probably more out during the day, but also more mongers. Be cool and don't look out of place by continuously circling the block, stopping in the street like an idiot or driving 1 mph while staring down every side street. Drive like you have a purpose. If you hit the strip a time or two, move on and come back later when your car is not fresh in every LE's mind on that street.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend those rules anymore than something as mere reference. They read like each situation is exactly the same, and it's far from that. When I started mongering there weren't any posted rules on some website. There wasn't even any internet in the first place to read where to find them. I just knew hookers were around 4th and 5th Avenues downtown, and I started riding around the area and eventually got the nerve up to pick one up. I made out just fine without them. I think reading those supposed 'rules' can make someone whose thinking about picking up a SW think too much into doing it and actually get themselves in a fix because of it. Breaking the rules is fun when you can get away with it. One more of my rules is not to travel with drugs or paraphenalia. Town Motel used to be quite active in the early 90's. I've had quite some interesting times there. The area around the Town and the streets behind it used to be part of my original stomping grounds when mongering, as it used to be almost as active as the area around 1st and 50th is now. It used to be a motel you could ride through until they closed off one end back around that same time. The girls would be at the rooms and just peek out when you'd ride through. Well it would all be easier if amounts were listed sitewide in a way that made common sense to everyone. I've never had amounts that I've posted messed with or edited, and I never post the way the abbreviations state amounts to be since it's just confusing. Who knows what happened to your post, but the problem with the amount abbreviations and lack of understanding how it works is sitewide. We're expected to use these monetary abbreviations that make no real sense to begin with. Some view it as veiled attempts to hide actual amounts paid by using a $ for a hundred dollars and decimals for less than a hundred. I have no idea why, though, as it's just common sense the topics here are about paying for sexual favors. In society, decimals are used different ways, but most would know them in how monetary amounts are spelled out. Most people would recognize 2.30 as two dollars and thirty cents, yet some people here post that as two hundred and thirty since the .30 is supposed to mean thirty. The confusing part is adding the $'s. Society recognizes $200 as two hundred dollars, yet here it's supposed to be $$, while some will post it as .2, 2.0 and who knows what else. The problem is there's people on the site that can't even formulate a sentence correctly, and that's not saying anything about the horrible spelling. Yet these same people are expected to use these odd ways to say amounts. To me, If I spend forty dollars, I'll say 40 or $40 moreso the latter. If everyone understood what the decimals and dollar signs meant then that would be different, but you'll have people using all kind of odd variations and you'll end up having no idea what they spent. According to the abbreviation list, if you spent four hundred and fifty it would be made out as $$$$.5 but $450 just makes more sense.

Man I went out again today. Bhamguy2000, speaking of that BSW you picked up, I've had that happen before where they virtually ignore you because they assume you don't have what payment they want to date. That's nothing more than them profiling how much money someone that rides by has based on what they're driving and how they're dressed. They shouldn't assume like that, because that's certainly not always the case. That's crazy, though, that a girl would think someone wouldn't have 40 or 50. You'd think they were like that because they expected a couple hundred, but 40 or 50, lol. I think in most cases the girl just assumes someone's cheap and doesn't want to take the time to talk. It could also be the girl wasn't 'into' you and didn't want to take the extra effort, but gave in when she saw you had money, which probably explains her attitude during the session. In that case the girls need to learn that money's money. One time a black girl I pulled up to told me 'you ain't got what I need', which quite pissed me off. I circled the block and passed her with what I had spread out like a hand of cards and suddenly she was trying to flag me down and all. Too late. I hate those that assume like that. Assuming because someone might be driving a car more than 5 years old or is wearing a t-shirt that they don't have money is crazy. Just as they assume because someone has a nice car or is wearing nice clothes they have the money to spend, or money that they will spend. I had gotten a new car several years ago and picked this girl up and she said she normally doesn't 'get in' but she saw I had a nice car and knew I had money. Yeah. The only way they might be able to profile like that is catching people on their way home from work and seeing guys in dress shirts and the like, but that doesn't always mean anything. Someone out mongering late at night isn't going to be in a suit and tie and their dress certainly isn't going to reflect the money they have or are willing to spend. Anyone smart would never go out looking like they had money. That's not a good idea mainly because of the neighborhoods you have to ride through but also because it just makes the girls assume they can get more and they'll expect and ask for more. I will definitely have to keep an eye out for that girl, but I certainly don't plan on taking much extra effort if she does the ignoring crap with me. If she doesn't want my money I can certainly find somewhere else to spend it.

Yeah, it doesn't bother me as much with the ones that don't attempt to flag someone down who's just riding by that they think might not have the money. It's when someone actually tries to pick them up and they refuse solely based on what you're wearing or driving assuming you don't have what they'd want. Then there's the ones that ARE working yet you try to pick them up and they act like you're not even there, and then down the road you'll see them hop in someone else's vehicle. That just irritates the hell out of me. I get that done to me moreso by black girls, so I think it has more to do with them being uninterested in dating white guys than anything else. The area around there is known as North Birmingham and also as Acipco, for the plant that's close by. The motel is the Apex Motel. I really wouldn't take much time going by there unless it's on your way, thought it might be someplace to occasionally pass by. When whoever it was said there was some girls staying there I passed by there about 5 days in a row and saw nothing at all. I'm not going to ride through the motel so I can't say if there wasn't someone around back or not. I'm just not going to risk riding around to the back only to come back out and find a cop sitting across the road. That whole area has been dead the last few years and never really has had much activity in the first place.

I have had the opportunity to drive some on the west side lately. Did a lot of window shopping and tire kicking--not buying--but some real good prospects for those willing to look

Start on 8th ave west near Legion field around 1st or 2nd street where I have seen sandy headed white girl around 5'3 or so. Not a real spinner but certainly no extra meat. Ginal, the area around the football field is always an area to check. Also down the street that intersects right at the gas stations by the football field, going both ways but moreso on the side opposite the field. I think the black girls tend to think white guys are cops, but lots of them around there actually wave. I know lots of areas in Bessemer I scope out when I'm out that way, and I'll make a longer list of them tonight when I have more time. Some of which are probably listed in my 'where to find SW' post on the first page of this thread. The area you mentioned with the house near the Super 8 is also an active area. In that same area, on the opposite side of the Super Highway is also a good area to look around. Don't just look right off the main road, they can be walking several blocks into the neighborhoods as well. That holds true around the football field as well.

I said last weekend I'd post a list of spots to look in the Bessemer area, and I've just now gotten enough time to sit down with a map book and look them up. I know how to get places, but alot of times have no idea what the road names are and just know how to get there. Most of my mongering routes are a result of just looking around, possibly turning down the wrong road and finding a previously unknown area to scout. Most people go to the well known areas to monger, but you can also find SW back in neighborhoods. That's how it is with alot of the places in Bessemer. When I head to Bessemer I usually follow Tuscaloosa Ave past Princeton Hospital heading into West End, and that area is a prime area to find girls walking. Tuscaloosa Ave runs into Pearson Ave at an intersection where a grocery store is at. Pearson goes down in front of old West End High. Down that road there's a gas station on the right called M&N where SW are known to hang out around. Further down Pearson is an intersection where Rally's, Church's and Shell gas station are, and I've seen SW hanging out at that Shell and walking back up Pearson. Here at that intersection, Pearson intersects Jefferson Ave. If you turn left here, Jefferson Ave is another road that can be hit and miss. The road runs back around and eventually you'll end in the area around Princeton Hospital. At the intersection of Pearson & Jefferson I spoke of, if you keep straight and then take the left fork at the Chevron, you'll go back to the neighborhood where Wenonah High and Lawson State is. If you take the right fork at Chevron, you'll follow Jefferson through Midfield and Lipscomb, and eventually end up in Bessemer. The road becomes Avenue K through Lipscomb, then becomes Dartmouth in Bessemer. I've occasionally seen girls hanging out at gas stations all down this road, or just walking the street. Once you hit Bessemer there's a project-type neighborhood and it once was so bad there that Bessemer put a police substation into an old house there. You'll see that on the left as you pass. Once I pass the project area, I've sometimes went a road over and followed Clarendon Ave for a bit, because there used to be a house down that road where SW hung out, but it's dead now. When either road intersects Hwy 150, I turn left and a couple of blocks up the road I turn on a road between 2 gas stations. I go about a mile then turn right down 9th Ave, which is the back end of the road in Bessemer where the stadium is. When you go down this road you'll see a grocery and drug store on the left, and there's usually a white girl that hangs out at that intersection late at night, and various other girls occasionally can be found walking all down this road. When you come to the intersection by the stadium, if you turn left all the area down to where you'll see a grocery store on the right is areas where SW walk, and occasionally can be found walking back in the neighborhoods. On that same road, if you turn at the road on the left across from the grocery, if you follow that road you'll go over some railroad tracks and end up a block behind the grocery and drug store I previously mentioned. In that area a block back there used to be girls that hung out on that back road as well. From there I usually would get on Bessemer Super Highway and head down over the bridge. Once over the bridge, I've searched the areas several blocks into the neighborhoods on both sides of the road from the bridge all the way down to the Budget Motel. You just basically have to look around, and have a little bit of luck. On the right side of the Super Highway, if you go far enough back into the neighborhoods, you'll end up back on Dartmouth, which is the road I orignally came into Bessemer on. I generally don't like searching those areas at night because there's absolutely no good reason for myself to be back in those areas, but occasionally I will go in there because girls walk those streets at all hours. Usually the area between the gas stations and the Budget you can look down the streets and occasionally see girls walking up to the main road, or hanging out around the corners near the road. Then sometimes you can see girls walking from the Budget to the Hiway Host or the Ace, or in between the Host and Ace. The other night I saw Brighton police sitting at the car lot across from the Host, then sitting down the road across from the old Piggly Wiggly down from the Ace, basically bookending their city limits. That's why it's not a good idea to go into any of those motels with no good reason, especially at night, because the cops might be hidden staking out the area. Oh, heading back to Bham, most of the roads on the right side all the way to Western Hills Mall will carry you back to Jefferson/Ave K/Dartmouth, if you want to make a loop. With most of these areas it's a good idea to just scope it out and get a feel for where you are, and soon you'll know exactly how to get from one place to the other and will also know where the good areas to find girls are. I hope some of that helps as I'm quite bad at giving good directions, lol.

When either road intersects Hwy 150, I turn left and a couple of blocks up the road I turn on a road between 2 gas stations. I go about a mile then turn right down 9th Ave, which is the back end of the road in Bessemer where the stadium is. When you go down this road you'll see a grocery and drug store on the left, and there's usually a white girl that hangs out at that intersection late at night, and various other girls occasionally can be found walking all down this road. When you come to the intersection by the stadium, if you turn left all the area down to where you'll see a grocery store on the right is areas where SW walk, and occasionally can be found walking back in the neighborhoods. On that same road, if you turn at the road on the left across from the grocery, if you follow that road you'll go over some railroad tracks and end up a block behind the grocery and drug store I previously mentioned. In that area a block back there used to be girls that hung out on that back road as well. From there I usually would get on Bessemer Super Highway and head down over the bridge. Once over the bridge, I've searched the areas several blocks into the neighborhoods on both sides of the road from the bridge all the way down to the Budget Motel. You just basically have to look around, and have a little bit of luck. On the right side of the Super Highway, if you go far enough back into the neighborhoods, you'll end up back on Dartmouth, which is the road I orignally came into Bessemer on. I generally don't like searching those areas at night because there's absolutely no good reason for myself to be back in those areas, but occasionally I will go in there because girls walk those streets at all hours. Usually the area between the gas stations and the Budget you can look down the streets and occasionally see girls walking up to the main road, or hanging out around the corners near the road. Then sometimes you can see girls walking from the Budget to the Hiway Host or the Ace, or in between the Host and Ace. The other night I saw Brighton police sitting at the car lot across from the Host, then sitting down the road across from the old Piggly Wiggly down from the Ace, basically bookending their city limits. That's why it's not a good idea to go into any of those motels with no good reason, especially at night, because the cops might be hidden staking out the area. Oh, heading back to Bham, most of the roads on the right side all the way to Western Hills Mall will carry you back to Jefferson/Ave K/Dartmouth, if you want to make a loop. With most of these areas it's a good idea to just scope it out and get a feel for where you are, and soon you'll know exactly how to get from one place to the other and will also know where the good areas to find girls are. I hope some of that helps as I'm quite bad at giving good directions, lol.

Started by Princeton and soon saw a young WSW near the M&N place on Pearson Ave. By the time I looped back for a closer look, she was gone. Continued down Pearson onto Woodward Rd. Nothing by the Ace on Bessemer Super Hwy but I did see another WSW at the 28th St North intersection. Was standing in the parking lot at the Shell station. She tried real hard to wave me down but I didn't have cash on me. She had reddish hair and wore a light blue sun dress. Looked ok from a distance.

I'm glad my descriptions made sense. Like I said I'm good at easily becoming familiar with how to get places, but describing how to someone else is another thing altogether, lol. I forgot to mention at the intersection of Pearson and Jefferson where Rally's, Church's and Shell is if you turn right it carries you to Midfield near Western Hills Mall. Also, at the intersection of Jefferson where there's two no-name gas stations, turning right there will carry you to the same intersection near Western Hills Mall. Like I said, most of the roads on that side going down the Super Highway will take you back to that same street. Once you acclimate yourself to the area you'll know all the side routes and ways to make loops without having to turn around on the same road, which especially helps if there's cops hanging around the known areas.

Yeah, that's her. I'm assuming all the girls on 3rd will probably be relocating for the next few weeks or so since they're doing paving at night all the way down 3rd from the fairgrounds to the Crossroads. It's too much of a chore to try to make it down that road with all the activity and closed lanes.

Azalea, that's a lesson we all end up learning at some point. Chalk it down to experience and learn from it what not to do in the future. That girl Emi has received good reviews in the past, but probably the majority of SW out there are theives if given the chance. Met this lady walking along Crestwood Blvd. Tonight. Melody said her boyfriend had ditched her after a fight. I was heading home and stopped to offer her a lift since that area is not known for SW's. She lives in Hueytown and I offered to take her home-she asked if there was a bar close by and that she would get the first drinks. Next thing I know, we are back at my place with her stripping for me, and not the typical amateur either-she was good. She rode for a good hour and damn am I out of shape.
