Hey guys. I decided to try my luck and went out to the new place across from Lowe's this afternoon. I received the same service as reported here by others, straight massage without any chance of extras.
The towel did come off early in the session and there was a point where she straddled the back of my head (new one for me) to reach my lower back and ass. Here's a tip for you champ. If you're going to post things, number one they need to make some sort of sense, and not just to you. Their advertisements are deceptive but they do not dress provocatively in my opinion.

The clothing in reality is nothing like the pics in their ads.
Again, not sure what their game is. They might get me as a customer 2 or 3 times, but that'll be the end of the line for me, and sounds like for most of you as well.
IMHO, there could be a market for a massage establishment ok with undraped massage, that doesn't require an appointment, that unashamedly massages the glutes, etc. There isn't anywhere else like that in town. But the teasing, without finishing the deal, is unnecessary and frustrating.

Some of us, however, prefer a massage and happy ending only; and want a quality massage as well as an appropriately priced session. Panda seemed like it might provide this, but now doesn't seem promising.

I too have been met with the same frustrations in homewood, and as with other reports, one would at least expect HE. I recently went to the new place in hoover on hwy 31. Well I broke down and visited the place on 31 last night. I was debating on it or Panda until I read Joda's poat and decided to go that route. All I can say is that I was thoroughly disappointed. The only other one I know is the one by Wal Mart. VIP maybe? I haven't been in a AMP in years. I think the last time I went I went to the Q, which was Paradise. The few times I 've been by VIP, I don't know if it's open or not. Call and find out. If I was back in the game, that would be the one I would choose and it has nothing to do with girls. Why after months of reports. Page after page- that say all you will get in Hoover or Homewood is a massage do folks continue to go thinking they will be the ONE to magically break that trend? Then they come on here bitching and complaining that all they were able to get was a massage maybe with a little teasig. Imagine that. Both places for the money are well worth it just for the massage. On my first three visits I was hoping for HE but it didn't happen then I realized it probably never will happen but nothing wrong with hoping and trying. I've tried to report my findings each time without coming across as complaining. And yes I tip because the massage is that good. I would tip more for HE but they don't know that.
My current HE provider gives a so-so massage. If I could get an HE coupled with a great massage well now that would be a good thing.
I was in Birmingham last week on business and since I was in the area I decided to give Panda a try. Because it was a spur of the moment, I hadn't read any reviews and wasn't really sure what to expect in the Birmingham market. There were 3 young ladies working the desk and the rooms, all fairly attractive with great personalities. Traffic in and out was so heavy that they had to lock the doors between clients as all of them were constantly with a client. The atmosphere was pleasant and the facility was clean and well kept. Rooms were offset with curtains, but privacy didn't seem to be a problem. I had read the BP ad offering a $50 special but was quoted a price of $80 for the hour, a fair price that I gladly paid. As others have pointed out, there were no extras or happy endings. In fact, the provider remained clothed the entire time but I was allowed to unclothe and relax with no towel, my personal preference. If you're just after a happy ending, this isn't the place for you, but if you are after a truly relaxing Asian massage the way its supposed to be done, you've hit the jackpot! I got my full hour+ with no upsell or pressure to tip. I hadn't received an Asian massage that good in a number of years and it reminded me of why I got into visiting AMPs in the first place. I was fortunate to have a skilled Asian provider at the first AMP I frequented. When done well, an Asian massage can be truly sensual and extremely relaxing without having to become sexual. Now I like a happy ending as much as the next guy, but if that's all you've ever received at an AMP, then you have missed out on the best part. For those of you who haven't had the opportunity before, I recommend giving Panda a try. Just go in with no expectations and enjoy the massage. You won't find a better price for that skill level, at least in my experience. Trust me, it will make you fall in love with AMPs all over again and on a much deeper level. I don't mean to sound fluffy here, but do get a feel for the true Asian massage experience and you won't want any other type. The only thing they could have added was a sauna and a walk across my spine. I will definitely repeat the next time I'm in need of some real pain relief. Just my $.02 cents for what it's worth. Saw Apple there this afternoon. I called ahead to make an appointment with Diana since I've had two good experiences with her already. Had some time to kill today so I got off the highway and rode around. I guess the old Super Sauna is officially not re-opening anymore. They've turned it into a used car lot. You know because there aren't enough of those in Center Point! The best part is that their sign is still up. They've just parked the cars around it. Paid my first visit to FA today, so I could compare and contrast with my two visits to Panda.
Definitely a higher-class operation. Real doors on the treatment rooms, as well as a door between the front lobby area and the treatment areas. Much more private. Also, like a "real" spa, you don't pay beforehand, you pay at the end of the service.
I've always been a fan of the table shower at "true" AMPs, so I asked for one today at FA. 60 mins + TS is $79. The dude (papa-san?) took me back to the room, didn't say a word about what I should do, how to dress, etc. There was a robe hanging on the back of the door and some flip-flops on the floor. I didn't see any of the "nylon shorts" that have been discussed on this forum. So I just stripped nude and put the robe on. (Later, after the session, I did notice a couple of small packaged fabric items on the table next to her CD player. I don't know if they were there beforehand and I just missed them, or what.)
Girl showed up a few minutes later. Probably mid 30s. 40, decent body but unattractive in the face, wearing khakis and a t-shirt. Typical, it seems.
She took me to the table shower room and told me I could stand in front of the heat lamp to stay warm while she prepared things. I took off the robe and moved in front of the heat lamp, which was nice. I wondered if she'd get a look at my bare white ass and start fussing at me that I had to put shorts on. But she didn't, took my nudity for granted, didn't mention it nor cover me up during the shower.

Anyway, the table shower was nice. They have what's called a "vichy shower" in high-class spas, multiple showerheads that hang over the table and drench your whole body at once. Nice. But to be honest, I find it difficult to believe that any of them would have a problem with it. You play your cards right and if you happen to be there at certain times, there is more to be had than what you think at these "legit" massage places. We've all had legit massages. The kind where you're under 2-3 layers of sheets and blankets and the only skin that is exposed is the part the person is working on. Now compare that to getting your junk washed or dried off, or being undraped with your business on display. Those are clues to the person that wants to pay attention. I have previously reported on my visits to both. Slight teasing, no touching of the girl allowed, and no extras available.
I don't believe these places will ever offer the service usually found in most AMP's because of their locations in Homewood and Hoover. They must be afraid of drawing attention of the neighborring businesses and the local LE.

I was just frustrated as so many guys (myself included) have blown much $$$ on these fake AMPs. They are all over the place (new ones seem to open weekly!) and advertise (and sometimes behave) as if there is more available, when there is really not. But that IS what this site is for: information, and I appreciate those who contribute and those who administer this site so that we can share these bits of news!
