I recently completed a business trip to Atlanta. The AMP scene is alive and well there. I visited a spa in a northern suburbs and had a fantastic visit. Due to competition prices are reasonable and the menu very open. It's pretty easy to negotiate a discounted price for additional services once in session. Just ask to see mamasan and the price goes down pretty quickly. In the better ones you can actually request a lineup and have your pick. Lineup usually consists of 2-4 girls provided they are not busy. I do miss Royal but there are much better experiences to be had in ATL. They and Massage Foot Care used to be good for at least a diy and sometimes a handy assist. I decided to try again just to see if things had calmed down. I called M & why about 8:45, just time enough for an hour massage before they closed at 10. I showed them my old stamped card with several signed by Summer and Tina. I know I've said it before but here it is again. If you are looking for a great AMP experience you've got to get out of HSV. Others on this board have tipped me off to great places in FL and GA. Thanks, guys. Atlanta will take care of you but I just got back from Southern California. Most of the BP providers are the same as here. Wanting too much for what they're offering, and thinking they are doing you a favor. The MMPs and AMPs are where its at. Dang good looking young women, with the right accessories, stout bodies, modest make-up, long well kept hair, sexy outfits, and sometimes even the nicest bolt-ons man has made. I was there for a few days and was taken care of every single time and went to two different places. The BP Asian girls seem to be the same workers at the AMPs working after hours. I ordered up a few of them too in the wee hours of the morning and ran into some recently acquainted friends. Good times, man. I've had a good time in Atlanta, but I've had a great time in LA since the quantity is huge. Do some hotel hopping from Orange county, to Hollywood, to Santa Monica and you will never meet the same girl twice but be well satisfied for 180 full hour, full service. Can't wait till duty calls again in the city of angels. Until then, Atlanta here I come.

I agree totally. There are several legit spas around where the girls actually have licenses. I got my first massage with HE from Massage Foot Care in Madison, and several assists for DIY at M and why. This was all before the bust at Royal. Tina and Summer were lots of fun. Now nothing. Asians Spas target men who have an asian fetish and are looking for more than a cure for sore muscles. People who go there and spend big bucks for a two hour massage and leave a big tip without pushing for extras make it harder for the rest of us. The girls have a name for them. ATM's.I don't go to a seafood restaraunt and order steak. If I want steak ill go to a steakhouse. Fortunately I'm not counting change to participate in the pleasures of life. If I want a massage I want a high quality relaxing massage so I go to a massage parlor. If I want a HE, BJ or FS I will go to a provider who has a reputation of being an enthusiastic high quality provider if I can find one. If not ill take chances like everyone else. A buffet type experience is not for everyone and while I'm enjoying my hq massage or FS provider I'm certainly not worried about making it easy or hard on whoever follows. As always know what you're looking for and go where you can get it if you can afford it. I would never go spend money without knowing exactly what I'm getting. Whats foolish is going somewhere hoping to get something that's not offered and complain about it. I travel alot and visit AMPs and massage parlors often. Some do some don't but if I'm there its strictly for the rubdown. If extras are offered I may or may not participate based on several factors but I never leave either a massage parlor or provider without being happy. In short my position is to each their own but go to the right place for the service you want, don't go somewhere hoping for anything. It leads to disappointment. Just because one mans ceiling is another mans floor it doesn't warrant namecalling. Having surplus cash, knowing what you want and being willing to pay for it doesn't make you someones ATM. Its a transaction between two adults. All this massage talk makes me want one. I don't think ill pursue any FS providers here with all the talk about red dicks and green drainage. Over and out.
Bottom line is she's very selective. Nothing mechanical about her in my opinion. One hour massage you will receive a very friendly convo, about a 6 or 7 gentle touch massage and at the end she's very selective. It's a trust and cleanliness issue.I have seen Kelly B for many years and her options open up the more you see her. She is my go to massage girl, she offers a very clean and relaxing environment and her prices are reasonable.
I've been a regular at them&why for over two years now after trying nearly every AMP in the county. Never got anything remotely leaning toçward 'extras' but almost always got a hands-down excellent massage. Typically opt for the 90 m but often if I really need a good workout, 120 m does the trick. The girls have come and gone, some better than others but I've never left feeling like I wasted my $. Health M next to the old Kangaroo is my next choice. Style is a little different and sometimes I get a harder massage (almost too much. Almost). Both places are relaxing and it doesn't hurt that all the girls are young and cute. These are totally legit shops that guard their rep well. I always respect them and tip well for a well done massage. BB.Just left m and why again. Another excellent massage. 90 minutes for 80.00. Same girl as last time with the magic hands. 40.00 on a tip. I can't understand her too well even though she speaks pretty good english. She's just got a thick accent. I did understand when she said see you next time. My reply "I hope so". Two more visits and my card will be punched for the complimentary 30 min. Ill be in hsv about ten more days or less so maybe ill make it. If not ill have to ask that cutie to marry me. LOL.

These girls get tired of customers grabbing at them, playing games with the sheet, seeing how far they can push the boundaries. If you can relax and make it known you are there for a great massage only, you will be rewarded.
(3) Get to know the girls name and ask for the masseuse you want by name the next time. All masseuses are not created equal.
Rankings:
I would rank the parlors as follows:
(1) Health Massage. University Drive. (I like a hard, deep-tissue massage. That may not be everyone's "cup of tea".
(2) M & why. University Drive. (Best tease, pretty girls).
(3) Massage & Footcare Spa. South Parkway. Their girls give a pretty good massage. I think they are owned by the same folks that own Health Massage.
(4) Wellness Massage. Cecil Ashburn Drive, South Huntsville. They are owned by the same folks that own M & why. Very small operation, few girls (sometimes one). Sometimes great depending on the girl.
(5) Monterey Massage. Winchester Road. Very nice rooms. Korean masseuses, uninspired massage.
(6) Best Asian Massage. Like so much else, calling yourself "best" is not a good sign. Nice rooms, curtains instead of doors, very mediocre massage.
While I am at it, let me rank the best cities for AMPs offering the full range of services. From totally legit to full-service.
(1) San Francisco. Absolutely GREAT asian massage everywhere.
(2) Los Angeles. Great massage parlors everywhere as well. Not all strictly asian as there are quite a few hispanic parlors as well.
(3) New York. AMPs seem to be left alone here. Great selection.

I really think some of these reports are put in here by some folks who are sandbagging. Maybe to protect their favorite place or provider. I am fairly new at this compared to some of you, but there are 3 spots in Hsv and Madison that I see people say on here for quite some time that are no extras at all. And I have been having very good success at these three spots. Hesitant now to say which places based on what appears to be others misreporting, IMO.

I strongly suspect that the same group that owned "Best" owns Monterey Massage in Meridianville. Might want to check there, same set-up, nice rooms, sub-par massage, no extras. That location on South Parkway, especially considering the road construction, was ill-advised. Without offering extras, they were not ever going to survive at that place.

I really hate to see the massage place on South Parkway close. I know it seems that often the girls may give out different names but for me, I dreamed of going three times and looked forward to a forth. They often seemed to have problems with scheduling though. The first time I went in they were busy and said come back. On return I got Krystal, who seemed to run the place even though she was young and had good English. She gave an excellent medium pressure massage, best I have had, and told me I was a little bad for always wanting the towel off. She kept it on the entire time. She never touched anything under the towel as I laid on my stomach. She did allow me to slowly ruin my fingers up her legs but not too high. She giggled on the flip after accidentally grazing the boy that had woken up and asked "how did that get there?" Second time there saw another young lady and just laid down without the towel. She put it back on and did an unimpressive massage, really just running fingers over me. She was fun to talk with and I thought I might make some progress with her but didn't. Third time I had an appointment to see the second lady but they mixed up appointments and she was busy. So Krystal asked if I would try Nikki instead and that she would come in for a free four hand massage. I go in and lay down without the towel to see what would happen. Nikki comes in and puts towel on me and begins a light massage. She finds out this was my third visit and allows towel to come off. At this point I am thinking good thoughts. Krystal comes in after a short absence and puts the towel back on. Crap. I tell her it feels so much better without the towel and she takes it off. Happy thoughts return. Nikki continues with a featherweight massage but Krystal jumps into another really great massage that was worth going for towel or no towel! Best part was that as they rubbed in the massage oil over my back to my feet they didn't miss my old butt. So I am thinking really happy thoughts as I look forward to the flip. Krystal finishes the back massage and has to leave and to my sadness Nikki puts the towel back on after the flip. I was really looking forward to the next visit. Called Winchester massage last night to see if Krystal it Nikki moved there and a man got on the phone that spoke better English. He acted as if he didn't know south parkway closed but said the girls had not transferred to his place. CRAP! I would have followed Krystal there in a heartbeat. So while nothing happened I was optimistic the forth visit would have been best.
