View Full Version : What should I do about Madison J and/or her reports?
Greetings everyone,
I have received a number of complaints about Madison J's recent posts, generally requesting that I take a range of actions from deleting her posts to banning her from the forum.
Personally, it seems to me that this chick just never shuts the fuck up, but maybe that's just me.
However, there was recent situation on another forum wherein I was blamed for causing a forum member quit the forum after I dared to ask him to post his diatribes in a separate thread, after which I had to defend my decision for the next 4 pages of posts. A small number of members threatened to quit in protest, others suggested instead that I should just have advised other members to use the "Ignore" function if they don't like what a specific member posts, and other members with actual balls chimed in to support my decision.
Anyway, due to these events, I'm just not all that enthusiastic about cracking down on what some members might consider just another "colorful" contributor, so I'm just going to pass the buck here by using a survey to ascertain the opinions of the membership.
The question is simple: What, if anything, should I do about Madison J and/or her reports?
Of course, there's no way I can win in this situation because somebody, either Madison J or her detractors, will be unhappy with the outcome, so all I'm really expecting to get is some sense of where the membership's compass is on these sort of situations.

I agree I post to much this is true but it take's a while for a post to go up so I can't edit or delete it and I just post pics of old SW thinking someone would be interested and I know from past how Tammy 4 you wants to make sure there is no mistake in getting the 2 confused by posting the street walker last name to avoid confusin and Tammy's usual it's not me and everybody acts like they miss that. The only other person I can see complaining is man who thinks one of the escorts is his girlfriend and doesn't want her knowing he dates other escorts but does try to intentally ruin her buisness for his own gain. I read this board daily I don't do a whole lot daily if you ban me I will truley miss it. I was first female to post on the memphis board and boy did I have to fight to earn my respect. I said other escorts would say that's a street board like they were to good but this is where they post now. If you ban me I can see why but can't say I understand but I really will miss the place. I didn't write this for you to post this was more to you personally but do as You wish. I admit been going through alot of stress latley but people blow stuff totally out of porportion and yes I take it from there.

I say nothing, that's what the "ignore" feature is for. If you are going to ban her for never shutting up then there are a lot of members, especially in this forum who "never shut the fuck up" either when they get something stuck in their craw. This is suppose to be a forum for the free exchange of information and ideas. Madison is a long time provider and has as much of a unique perspective about the hobby. She may be a little off but we are all on here reading and posting about paying for sex which means pretty much all of us are a little off.
Sure she tends to go off on tangents but you can look back the last month or two and see multiple examples of other providers and members doing the same thing and not ever shutting up. There has been a lot of hijacking the board for petty arguments, people pissed they don't get their way, cat fights between providers, etc. People should just do as I do, either use the "ignore" function or just read first couple of lines and then go on if it doesn't pertain to any interests you may have. I don't believe she's a problem here and even if she is, she's definitely not the only one or even the first. If you are going to ban people for rambling, arguing, being a screwball or whatever Madison is accused of then you should just shut the whole thing down.

Jackson, you hit the nail on the head. The ignore funtion you so graciously enabled in the forum allows us to filter anyone we don't want to deal with. I think Madison contributes to the forum positively both on line and in private. We have a few members that like to stir the pot and get others posting and posting replies. For the record, I don't have anything personal against her, and almost saw here a time or two before she jumped off the bridge. I just didn't want to pay her rate and her drama level was a bit high for me.
As for the board, her posts are very difficult to read and she'll make five of them to address one single issue.
I was sincere when I said I hoped that having her own group on yahoo would slow her down over here, but alas, no such luck. I personally did not complain to Jackson and I hoped that a gentle nudge might slow her down a bit but as you can see, she made 2-3 posts just to tell me to piss off. I read a lot and when reading in forum X, I prefer that most of the posts be related to that topic.
I haven't tried the ignore function, but I guess I will and see what it's about. My apologies if I helped stir the pot. I really do try to avoid doing that. I learned a long time ago that if you stir shit often enough, sooner or later you begin to stink too.

I'm surprised that more survey participants didn't choose the option for limiting her to posting in her own thread, which has proven in the past to be one of the most effective methods for limiting overly-dramatic members.
I appreciate the general philosophy of using the "Ignore" function, but there's a point where it seems that all of us are endeavoring to avoid the drama in lieu of simply moving the drama into it's own thread.
Perhaps the reluctance stems from the misconception that limiting a member to their own threads is some sort of sanction, when in fact it's simply a complementary strategy to a forum that limits the overall number of threads.
Something to consider?

Well I will give you my 2 cents worth! This is a forum!!!!!!! A forum is for everyone to express talk discuss argue their views on many diffrent topics!! How many times do members argue or discuss things on a topic that does not even belong here or in the catagory they are posting it in the forum???? How many times are totaly off the wall comments left LOL!!!!!! Hey its all about opionions and we all have them!! Some people will always agree some will disagree! The only time one should be disciplined here is they would threaten physical violence to another person! OTHERWISE you can choose not read post from ANYONE you do not like, and you can always agree to disagree! Or you can argue with them in here for as long as they will argue back LOL! That's America my friends YOUR RIGHT TO SPEAK YOUR MIND! Inside this forum just think of all the diffrent variety of people that are here!!!!! We have all ages races and social backgrounds! All talking for the most part on a common subject! COM'ON NO ONE HERE WILL AGREE WITH EVERYONE LOL!!!! I don't know Madison at all BUT she should be free to post what ever she wishes! As we all do! Jackson - I have been a member of this board for about 16 months and I feel that i have contributed to it as well as learn from it. I know that over the past months i have not posted as much as usual due to alot of the catfights that have been going on. With that be said this forum is about people writing their thoughts, concerns, and experiences. If people don't want to read what a particular monger of provider writes then they have the ability to hit the ignore button.
For the record thats my 2 cents worth.

I know I don't post that often anymore, but it seems that if the forum members don't like Madison's posts they should just ignore them. Personally, I enjoy Madison's outlook on a lot of the issues, and those that don't can just bypass her posts easily. If you ban her, then anytime a poster doesn't like what some other forum member has to say, they are going to feel as if they can contact Jackson to get this person banned. Besides, in any place where there is a free exchange of ideas/information, you can always expect to find a voice or two that you don't want to hear. Simply ignore what they have to say and keep on going.
I started thinking though I've actually recieved alot of compliments on my post in the last month and only really issue I've had here latley is The Best pasteing my pm and changing my repy. That and posting a actual pic of someone actually named Tammy #2 if she used a fake name to work under or had other street name than would had gladly used it. I been surrounded by haters for the last 4 or 5 yrs why should I expect a difference here from a gym or some jerk that follows me around a mall. Here you are asking a simple opinion and this guy has to jump in and make an asinine comparison of Madison and some USA sexguide superstar that got his ass busted for patronizing a juvenile. The Best is just trying to stoke her fires and get her to look even more crazy than he already claims. Posters like that are just as much to blame. If you are going to regulate MJ to her own thread, then you should also (and I'm not trying to start a fight, just making a point) put The Best, Banger Hard, Sweet Melissa, and Rebelest their own as they have occupied and lot of board space in the past few months airing out certain differences with other members. We all do it to some extent.
Again, you already have a solution in hand from the beginning (at least with this incarnation of the board) and its the "ignore" button. I personally don't use it, I see a name who's opinion I'm not interested in, I just move on up, but I can see where it could be your friend. Hell, this subject alone has leaked into other threads and even other groups. If anything, this has only made things worse.

I did not publically ask you to take my pics off your group even though I had asked you to do it once, it took you being mad at my TWO SENTENCE comment and comments on this board agreeing with me, to slam me on your yahoo group and take my pics off.

I have read far more offensive posts than madison's. The entire thing could have been very simple. Tammy4u just wanted to clarify that she was not the Tammy mentioned in the postings, and I don't blame her. She was not out of line or rude in attempting to clear that up. I do feel Madison throws out too much personal info that has nothing to do with anything. Her posts are quite incoherent at times, but I believe she is basically harmless and needing to vent at times. Let's just keep the personal stuff out of it (such as, "I heard he fixes your car", wtf does that have to do with anything?)
Like I said, if separate threads are going to be started for drama, offensive comments, etc., admin will be very busy.

TammyAfter posting your pics on my board and you getting great comments and you responding and posting your link. I didn't take it that it bothered you that bad. I have read far more offensive posts than Madison's. The entire thing could have been very simple. Tammy4u just wanted to clarify that she was not the Tammy mentioned in the postings, and I don't blame her. She was not out of line or rude in attempting to clear that up. I do feel Madison throws out too much personal info that has nothing to do with anything. Her posts are quite incoherent at times, but I believe she is basically harmless and needing to vent at times. Let's just keep the personal stuff out of it (such as, "I heard he fixes your car", wtf does that have to do with anything?)
Like I said, if separate threads are going to be started for drama, offensive comments, etc., admin will be very busy.
Madison, I recommend that you take a moment before you touch your keyboard to collect your thoughts before you post. With that being said why do you keep crapping on someone if you don't choose to be with someone then so be it. But to fight like little kids throwing rock at each other is so ridiculous, it makes me wonder why this hobby is going down the tubes, some of the best and well respected providers have quit and/or moved on because of the in house bickering. I for one have had some bad experiences and I acted in a "BIG BOY" fashion by not repeating, not by coming on one of theses chat boards and trashing someone. Give me a break. GROW UP ALL UP YOU. And leave the providers alone they also have bad days just like you and me. So quit fulling the fire. And lets get back to the fun and excitement that this hobby can provide. Lets stop throwing rocks and start making appointments and leave Madison alone. So in closing GROW UP EVERYONE.

I have determined that Madison J is simply incapable of participating in this forum without fostering her brand of pointless drama, even after this thread and the accompanying survey clearly indicated to her that she needed to tone down the volume.
In a review of her posting history, I came across this post from her, posted in one of the general discussion threads, that struck me as emblematic of her need to continue to foster a level of drama that would make a soap opera star jealous.
