Just wondering if anyone went to those walk in places like the Medical Corner to get a prescription for this. I don't have a regular doctor but guess this would be a good time to find one if I can't find a quicker and easier way to get this. Just seems kind of lame to find a doctor just to get viagra, since I know he will ask what made me decide to come to him. Or are there doctors that specialize in sexual dysfunction? I second Brother H M on that. I wouldn't think of going to anyone but my PCP. I suffer from the "Over 40 Trifecta" of Type II Diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. I casually mentioned during a routing follow-up a while back that the plumbing wasn't quite working as well as it used to. Getting a regular Doctor is the best. Don't be afraid to ask too. They usually will give you a free sample. Remember if and when you do get a doctor, and he or she writes you a prescrip, be sure to get the 100mg. 100s and 50s are the same price. There might be 25s too, but there all the same price. You can cut the pills to what you need. 50s work good for me, sometimes even 25s, but 100s, I feel you'll get the same result as a 50. Good luck.

A little while back, Securetabs was advertising on USASG. They were a little over $1 per pill. I think it was $140 for 132 pills for 100mg Suhagra. No prescription needed. However, one night I was at Kison and despite the valiant efforts of an experienced provider, Little Red couldn't finish the job. Finally, I just gave up, and the provider sat there staring at me with pity, as if I were a pathetic loser, LOL. Yes, now I can laugh about it, but at the time it was discouraging and disappointing. Mission not accomplished, and hard-earned money down the drain. Was advancing age ultimately catching up with me? Could this be the beginning of the end of my long and wonderful mongering career?
But wait! Soon afterward, I noticed the following encouragement, posted on the forum by a fellow monger: "Hooked up the V when I had a few episodes of technical difficulties. Took that shit and went to the AMP an hour or two later, and I was the man of steel".
That captured my imagination. Maybe instead of having doubts in my mind about whether the aging Little Red would be ready for action, and being embarrassed if he wasn't, I could swagger into any AMP with full confidence, knowing that I was a "Man of Steel".
So I visited my doctor, who said that many older guys need some help with their sexual performance. After a professional evaluation, I received medical clearance to try three of the common PDE5 inhibitor medications: Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate), Cialis (Tadalafil), and Levitra (Vardenafil). Because I wanted to determine which one might be best for me, by now I've tried all three of them. Below are my findings. Remember, though, these medications can easily have different effects on different men, and my personal experiences with them may not be the same as the experiences of some other mongers. So if anyone has had dissimilar results, please feel free to post about them.
My doctor suggested that I first try Viagra, so I did. He said that I could safely start with the highest dose, 100 mg, and then adjust it downward.
Wow, the 100 mg dose of Viagra certainly did make me the Man of Steel, first time and every time. Indeed, it was like turning back the clock by twenty or thirty years, and I was quite impressed. However, I soon found that I could economize, without any significant loss of effectiveness, by using only about two-thirds of a 100 mg Viagra pill.
Next, I tried Cialis, always using the maximum dose of 20 mg. Unfortunately, Cialis wasn't as effective for me as Viagra. Sometimes it worked very well, but sometimes it didn't. A few times it wasn't really effective one hour after taking it, but then it seemed to fully "kick in" about three or four hours after taking it. The primary advantage of Cialis is that it may last for up to thirty-six hours, compared to Viagra's usual time span of approximately four hours. So a monger may be able to have sex for two days, or even three days, on just one dose. Plus, if you're a downtown street monger and don't find any acceptable providers on one night, you may be able to go hunting the next night without taking another dose. Personally, however, I prefer Viagra because (for me) it packs a stronger punch and works well every time.
Finally, I tried Levitra, always using the 20 mg dose. For me, Levitra usually seemed as effective as Viagra. However, Levitra may have two potential advantages. First, Levitra can last about one hour longer than Viagra. Yet, I've found that during that last hour, Levitra may lose some of its power. Second, some say that Levitra can work better than Viagra if there's food in your stomach. I have no personal knowledge about that factor, because I prefer to use either medication on an empty (or nearly empty) stomach for maximum effectiveness.
Side effects? When using the 100 mg dose of Viagra, I had nasal congestion (as if I had a cold), and one time I experienced a mild headache. However, after I reduced the dosage of Viagra, the only noticeable side effects I've encountered with Viagra, Cialis or Levitra have been a "warm" feeling, facial flushing, and sometimes a faster heartbeat (though not disturbingly fast). Some other guys have reported having various additional side effects (such as indigestion, nausea, muscle ache, blue-tinted vision, sensitivity to light, etc.), but fortunately I haven't experienced any of those.
So, I intend to continue using Viagra and Levitra. They've improved my sexual performance and totally restored my sexual self-confidence, without any significantly adverse side effects. "Little Red" is once again a proud little soldier, ready to answer the call of duty on any day or night.
However, I would advise anyone who hasn't used these medications to consult with your doctor before making a decision about whether to do so.

I would just like to support and reaffirm most of what he said. I started off with a doctor's prescription for Viagra a few years ago but found myself becoming seriously constrained by the skyrocketing costs to the point that I was passing on some potential opportunities due to whether I might be wasting a $30 plus pop. (approx cost of one pill). So I went to the internet and chanced a small order costing about $20 or so dollars. I believe it came from India. They worked just fine and I've reordered several tmes.
BUT strongly suggest check with real doctor first.

FWIW, I've found that I prefer Levitra. Haven't tried V and feel that see left me stuffier and more flush feeling than L. I also find that L hangs around in my system for almost 24 hours. And I have also found the generic from 4 rx works just as well. I have taken both the blue label and generic.

I agree. I checked with my doctor first. Asked for samples of Vee, Cee, and Lev. Drug interaction and heart problems are the two major concerns. Blood pressure, bleeding, and something else, she mentioned that she looks at. If you want the real stuff, get a written prescription. The automated version keeps records that your spouse might see. Was told by a friend, that you should hold a written prescription if ordering from the internet. When LE show up, the prescription helps get you out of trouble.

Don't want to belabor the point, but I went to my doctor a couple of months ago for my yearly physical and I popped the question regarding V. He smiled and said good thing you're checking with him because the drug can be dangerous as stated by Blake123. He only prescribed me 3 pills and when I went to Long's. I found out why. The thing's expensive! And all out of pocket. The stuff does work though, feel a little flushed during the hour you have to take it prior to sex, but it's all worth it because. Well you all know why. LOL.

I mean a lot of these reports leave me stunned as to how long guys are able to maintain. Probably there's also a certain amount of exaggeration going on but if do, this is something these fellas aren't going to admit to! Still, sure would be enlightening to have a statistical breakdown of who is using what (or not) in order to obtain such extended (pun intended) sexual experiences in our local AMPs.

Although the medications aren't physically addictive, they can become psychologically addictive, particularly because the generic versions are relatively inexpensive. So even in situations when an older monger may be able to at least adequately function without any medication, he may take it beforehand to help ensure that he will effectively function, and to enable him to perform at a higher level. If an older guy is going to spend about $200 on an AMP visit, he probably wants to minimize the chance of having any problem or disappointment, and maximize the potential for complete enjoyment. Anyway, that's been my personal experience.

Brother Red you are truly perceptive. You mentioned in your recent contribution, the psychological effect of taking any of the erectile assisting drugs. I AM an Old Guy and started using some of these "helpers" a few years back. I will now not leave the house on a sortie without something in my pocket. On a few occasions when I have forgotten. On those occasions I will just not participate. Have a few beers and reconnoiter for future stops and definitely no AMP. I am about 90% sure that with some of these experienced hotties, who are new, strange and know all the techniques that I would be able to perform just fine. However I now choose not to take the chance and suffer the embarrassment. Yup. Psychological addiction to the max.

V on an empty stomach will get Jr hard when aroused, but it is not meant to increase stamina. If your reservoir is full, no ejaculation for a long time, you will come fast no matter. But if your reservoir is empty, and you pop the V on empty stomach, you can be hard and not come for awhile. I had a batch of counterfeit from India a few years ago and they worked as well as real thing. There is no generic due to patent. The low blood pressure effect can last a long time even if potency would diminish with each passing hour. If I popped V in late afternoon, I may still feel low blood pressure sensation next morning. Enough that I have to be careful at the gym lifting. Maybe not safe to do reclined leg curls, from experience. I would not attempt cardio unless 24 hours have passed or until blood pressure felt normal.

Levitra wasn't listed within the top 100 prescribed brand-name drugs, so its sales must be lower than both Viagra and Cialis.
By the way, anyone want to guess the #1 (in sales) prescribed brand-name drug in America for 2013? Surprisingly (to me) it was Abilify, which is primarily used for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depression. Over the years, several downtown street providers (although not the most popular ones) have told me that they are on Abilify.

For the longest time I was waiting for 2013 to roll around so that the viagra patent would run out. Then in 2011 or 12 the company successfully petitioned to extend it out to 2019. So now I'm waiting for 2019. By the time that rolls around I'll be so old I won't even be interested. Ha ha.

I wonder how much generics will cost then?Sildenafil is available, which is the pharmaceutical name for Viagra. It's called Revatio, and it's really inexpensive compared to Viagra. I take 3 pills and crush them or the time release keeps it from working effectively. I've also tried real Viagra and Revatio works exactly the same. I even experienced the "blue vision" side effect with Revatio like I did with Viagra. It's just about $1 per pill so each dose is about $3.
Because Revatio is prescribed to treat hypertension and is not marketed as a boner pill, they've been able to release the generic version.
Last year, I posted a report evaluating sildenafil citrate (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra), and tadalafil (Cialis). Recently, I've gained more experience with vardenafil (Levitra), and I just wanted to mention one factor I've now noticed that wasn't addressed in my original review. Although both sildenafil citrate and vardenafil are effective for me, in my experience of comparing them in standard pill form, vardenafil now generally has an advantage over sildenafil citrate in terms of the time it takes for the medication to start working. Of course, I'm not claiming that would be true for everyone, but simply reporting what I've observed for my own body.

I managed to obtain a prescription for V from the doc and was told that the prescription is not covered by my private insurance.Doesn't show up. I get 90 pill supply at Costco. For around $50. Then cut them in half. Oh get this biggest dose 100 mg. That like getting 180 pills for $50. Use the coupon code on Good Rx app. Less than 30 cents a pill. Lot cheaper than those rip off companies on tv that compare themselves to buying brand name from a drug store with no Good Rx coupon.

Everything works fine for me downstairs, just say a little BS about not being satisfied and you'll get the prescription. I highly recommend looking into it, 1/4 to 1/2 a pill and I can get hard instantly and stay hard after finishing. I've always been able to go multiple rounds, but with v there's 0 downtime in between. I also notice I can last a bit longer on it for some reason.
