Found some time on a weekday night and took the stroll.
Literally empty streets.

Met a friend in Philly on Friday evening and took the Camden route on returning to Jersey.
Around 9 to 10:30 Pm the streets are literally empty with No trace of SW.
LE presence was noticeable.
Took couple of laps and got bored and left empty handed.

-CS.LE will want you to discuss price, etc before driving anywhere far. They may not be wearing a wire, as an officers testimony that you said something is enough to lock you up for the night. But they certainly won't let you put a hand on them, or drive far from backup. So, without openly stating you will pay x for why, do the mutual feel up, or agree to drive away first.
This is coming from a guy that was busted 23 years ago in Philly. I was young and drunk and did everything wrong.

.If you don't discuss price before they get in, they can't do anything to you. It would just be a consensual act between adults, which is legal. You have to think about the danger LE would be getting into. Let's say you are a violent john and you realize that an undercover LE is sitting in your passenger seat. Then you would probably pull out a weapon and harm and / or kill the LE. Obviously, that is not anything worth setting up a sting for consensual relation between adults. So the only way they'd do a real sting is either with an incall where you go to a room where LE are hiding out, or entrap you through the window of a car and then arrest you after you say something incriminating. They're not going to put themselves in potential danger to ride along with you if you could be dangerous.

Even so, my luck there is probably less than 50% on finding someone worth meeting, and the rest of the time I do drive away with nothing but lost gas, sleep, and time. But I only go at night, so YMMV on the given night and time. In maybe 8 or 9 visits in the past 4 months, I had 3 different WSW experiences who I'd never seen before and have not seen since, and they were each positive, so try as I might to stay away, I keep going back for more because I know they're out there.
I do think that most of these higher-quality options are doing just one or two dates an evening, enough to get their candy money, so if you get beaten to picking up someone (and I had that happen with a couple other cuties I saw), you may not see them again that night. On the bright side, it means they're lower volume and less likely to be "well-used," but it also means you just have to be really lucky with timing.

I looked from about 9 to 10;30 refusing to settle for your standard crack head and it wasn't to 10:30 that I found an oldie but goodie, Elizabeth, not much to look at but she gives a good sloppy toppy. Best to use a towel for your car seat because she can make a mess.
But back to the original question, when I can't find a decent date and I have a motel room, I've been know to get out there at 7 AM and pull one back to my room. Agreed 100% that the cheaper hotels are very gross. I think the Days inn or a Motel 6 or even a Quality inn or equal is what I'm looking for. I get reward points towards Choice properties and so those are the ones I book the most often.

Now I have to drive through at least once a week and have rethought getting my CCW permit back.
Camden is no less dodgy, but the streets are not such a winding maze. You can pretty quickly get the lay of the land. My last few trips (just sightseeing, I never buy things) I saw a few women that were definitely available, probably 9's on the 1 to 10 scale. This was during the day also, and they were discrete but the eyes tell you all you need to know.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Sat thru that sad game 7 for the Phillies and on the way back thru NJ, I took the scenic Broadway detour. I said I was looking for a friend her mom is worried about her. He said it's dangerous here with all the stabbing and shootings. I said ok I can leave if you need me to. He said hold on we're running your plates. When nothing came up on my plates he said ok just clear the area please. I said no problem and left.

Saw shy one block off broad from the Chinese store. With a man walking with a cane. Did the nod she hopped in. Has to be in her 20's, dirty blonde hair in a ponytail, nice teeth possibly gorgeous when cleaned up. Ok to 20 for BJ. Talked a bit to the spot. Invited two to go back to the room but they wanted some money up front to make a purchase before going to the room. I don't give money up front that's a no go for me. End up paying 30,20 to start and 10 if they finish. Four of the five got the job done with no rush and no complaints.

He said something about us to leave while walking past us. We parked in another spot where she had to start over. Almost gave her extra for having to restart but she was happy with the 30.

My toothless wonder, Amanda mention in my most recent post, is a study in SW migration. She began her "career" as a teenage SW in the heyday of Camden some 15 yaars ago. Being homeless for long stretches of time, she had to adapt the best she could. Her solution? Make enough money to catch a bus over to Philadelphia to live and work K Avenue. This is probably the best insight that I have heard to the question, "What happen to the Broadway stroll in Camden where you have to search far and wide compared to PHilly?
Case in point, I had business in the area and stayed over for the past few days so on my way home, I took a detour (around 6 PM) down Broadway just to sightsee and then over the Ben Franklin Bridge and a onetime tour down K Avenue. Now it's a sample size of one trip but Camden had nobody manning a street corner and 20 minutes later, I could have had my pick of 8 different choices on K Avenue. But as been said before, you better have your head on swivel because K Avenue is not for the novice.

I don't do the strolls anymore for various reasons but mainly I am getting older and the risk out weighs the benefits for me. That said I did use the strolls for years off and on. I used to go to the stroll the hour before sunrise to an hour after, same deal at sunset. I had found that like fishing they are out biting at those times more and I called it the magic hours. Another tactic that I don't know would be valid now was to wait till after kids were picked up for school and look around then. Like between 9:30 am and 11 am. I used to find welfare moms doing morning dates. Most were opportunistic dates where they werent hanging around waiting. They would do their own loops or just off the stroll hanging out for an hour for a pick up. These women usually looked for older guys mid age up and usually had some regulars.
Cold weather I used to hang near convenience stores, coffee places or similar near the stroll where girls could get hot coffee, cigarettes, use a restroom and just warm up. It was easier and less conspicuous than driving around when the stroll is dead and you stick out like a sore thumb. When I go to Broadway to look for some action there are a few things I do. 1. Always bring protection. 2. I always bring 2 towels, 1 for the front seat and 1 for the back seat. 3. Wet wipes for both me and her. 4. Hand sanitizer, mostly for if the protection breaks down.
Once I get to Camden I lock up my valuables and only keep the amount of money that I wish to spend. I like to take a few laps first to see what is out and if any piggy's are on patrol. When I do my laps I will go down different back roads and change up the route. If a piggy is following me I will go out of town, wait for him turn off, then go back after a short time. I try not to be predictable.
When I see something I like, I will turn on to the next road off of Broadway and wait till she approaches. If she doesn't approach odds are she isn't working and I move on. When she does approach, I forgot to mention this, keep your doors locked (Miranda). Anyways, I will roll my window down and I always use the same line "Do you need a ride?"
