I wouldn't say you have to pay to be a monger. I think it's just numbers that matters who cares how you get them. I been getting for free from as many ladies as possible for awhile!

It is in the Urban Dictionary and has a common understanding in this forum, where it is used a LOT, so I would imagine we would want to interpret it correctly. Even if the term monger "can" be about, "selling and promoting goods or ideas," that is NOT the context in which we use the term in this forum. By that definition every salesman, shopkeeper, politician, et.al. are the the people to which we refer as those picking up SWs on the K. (Maybe some of them are, but that's not the intended context of the word as we typically use it).

Besides all that, you originally said that being a monger was a "numbers" game which included having sex for free. I just don't see that coming close to any recognized definition of the word.

Being a black man, and having been a young black male I can understand both sides of the fence. There are alot of young black males in the hood who see these women as nothing more than objects. I know for a fact when I was younger I saw SW's and drug addicts in general as walking zombies, disposible instruments there for my entertainment, or to make a profit on. As I've gotten older I've started to see another path. We are all people, deserving of the most basic human compassion. They're seen as the "hard sell", the ones where even if you work they're still not satified, they're also seen as more likely to commit crime. I admit stereotypes work both ways meaning that not all stereotypes are true but there's a story behind everyone. From my point of view I don't get upset if a SW doesn't want to date me because of my skin color or appearance in general, I just take my money elsewhere figuring she's either been hurt by someone who looks like me or knows someone who has. It's nothing personal, just business. I liken it to America in general. People like to believe that racism no longer exists which isn't exactly the truth. Everytime a young black guy sees a white guy with a suit and tie and nice car and thinks he must be a CEO, that's stereotyping, same as a white guy seeing a young black guy in a nice car and thinks drug dealer. I've experienced it myself. At 22 I was single, no kids, and making six figures a year. I had all the coolest clothes, the gadgets, the boy toys, the flashy car everything. I would get stopped on a weekly basis, get ruffled up, my car tossed, I even had my apartment raided. I would get stopped because I had to drive through a high crime area to get to work. I worked at a factory and I worked alot of OT. But because of my age and the amount of money I had the Police were convinced I was doing something illegal, they even got a warrant to search my residence because they saw me give a co-worker a ride home, after dropping him off he went and bought some yayo. Of course nothing came of it and had I have been a 50yr old white male I would have never even been a blip on anyones radar. Before anyone blasts me, everyone has a story, a reason for believing what they believe, I'm just glad that at least we can have a discussion about it to clear the air, I genuinely believe it helps.

I recently posted a new thread under the Amateur Section of Special Interests which is entitled: SW Stroll Maps. I didn't create these maps; I just collected them all together in one spot for the ease of use of mongers who are traveling to another city. I had organized them myself from past postings of other mongers, so I thought I would share them with the board all in one place.

I have my strengths, but I don't claim to be a computer genius. I know there is a way to translate a web page to a JPG or other pic format, but one needs the software to do that (or if it is available for free, please let me know where). If there is a monger out there with the ability to do this, it would be a welcome addition to the SW Stroll Maps thread to include maps of the K, Camden, Torresdale and OYR strolls. I am sure there is a way to create these on Mapquest or Yahoo and translate that to a pic file format.

I bought one and they are surprisingly very clear and easy to operate. It makes sense to have something like this just for general safety when talking on the phone and operating a vehicle, but it especially makes sense to avoid harassment and/or a ticket now that Philly and the state of NJ both ban cell phone use while driving.

The one thing I am most cautious about when mongering is making sure I am not surprised by a SW's "friends." I could understand your being peeved if I had passed the pics off as my own but I didn't do that. Nonetheless, I apologize if you are sensitive to having your pics re-posted without a heads up first.

In the Philadelphia thread we often re-post one another's pics for any number of reasons: to indicate what a SW looked like in a report if the monger reporting didn't take any pics; to show what improvements or enhancements are possible with photo software (I have benefited from this instruction); to confirm whether a particular SW described in a report is someone for whom a previous pic was posted; just to indicate our favorite pic (s). We even had a photo thread (now inactive) with a collection of pics from all mongers of SWs by year, ratings and links to reports about them. I have never asked other mongers permission for the re-posting of their pics or required that they ask permission of me. As long as I (or they) don't pass off the pic as my (their) own, it is in the best interests of sharing information without having to get formal approvals all the time.

I recognize that everyone is different and I will respect your wishes if you desire to know beforehand if any of your pics are to be re-posted. But please know that I meant no malice, misinformation or violation of what others might already understand to be your policy regarding the re-posting of your pics.

The hands free blue tooth cell phone device used to be quite expensive, in the $60-$80 price range, when not on special. However, many AT&T stores are now selling them for $19. I bought one and they are surprisingly very clear and easy to operate. It makes sense to have something like this just for general safety when talking on the phone and operating a vehicle, but it especially makes sense to avoid harassment and/or a ticket now that Philly and the state of NJ both ban cell phone use while driving.I have always questioned the dangerous part, the holding of the phone to the ear or the actual conversation. I am not sure if hands free is considerably safer. How many of us actaully drive with 2 hands on the steering wheel? I think the most dangerous part is the entire distraction of the call. I see so many people on phones that forget they are on a highway in the passing lane and now only doing 25 mph.

If having a conversation in and of itself is dangerous then they should outlaw passenger conversations and radios for that matter. It is most certainly the fact that you have to divide your hand eye coordination with two objects which is extremely difficult, the closest analogy would be juggling. When driving with one hand the other isn't doing anything complicated it's idle. I think this ban is a double edged sword, it'll make the streets safer for drivers but the PPD is going to use this as another way to harass citizens.

Ordinances such as the cell phone ban may have a basis in safety. But I agree with you Bad Boy that it is just one more reason for LE to stop and hassle you. I know some areas in NJ that use the ban as a way to make money for their township or county, just as is done with speed traps, because the fine is a stiff one.

There is a safety case to be made for banning cell phones. But I don't know that the political motives of the City of Brotherly Love were so pristine. I do know that a few members of the City Council, for whatever reason, have had a hard on for banning cell phones for some time now, and there has been press about it for several years. Ostensibly, banning cell phone usage while driving is to make driving safer for everyone. Insurance accident records and several independent studies would indicate that cell phones are a leading cause of car crashes. It is estimated that cell phone distracted drivers are four times more likely to be in a car wreck, and that cell phone usage is almost as dangerous as drunk driving. According to a Harvard University study, cell phones cause over 200 deaths and half a million injuries each year. Car-Accidents.com has even collected together cell phone related crash pictures. The studies further indicate that it is not just the fact that one is holding the phone and using one hand to drive the car. There are those who argue that perhaps only hand-held cell phone usage should be restricted, but that hands-free sets ought to be permitted. However, it is not merely the holding of a phone, that takes at least one hand off the steering wheel, that is the problem. The problem seems to be the overall distraction of talking and listening to someone on the phone. While there are some who claim this distraction is no worse than listening to a car radio, the safety records prove otherwise. I am not advocating a full ban, just stating the facts of the research.

I am sure we all have anecdotal stories about the cell phone user who hit us or almost hit us while driving or vice versa. I don't know what the statistics are on other types of distractions such as conversations with passengers (it would seem the same principle of distraction applies here). I often wonder what the statistics are for doing ANYthing distracting while driving, such as eating or drinking or even combing one's hair. I have seen some crazy distractions. I saw a woman tooling at full speed on the Schuylkill Expressway with the steering wheel between her legs as she was looking in the rear view mirror, and using both hands to apply her eye makeup. There should DEFINITELY be a ban against THAT!

I have been sharing some of the experiences of several SWs who are corresponding with me and sharing some of their experiences with mongers. Collectively I call this group "Deep Throat," an appropriate double entendre' inspired by the anonymous character of the same name we remember from the Watergate scandal.

I have my own experience to relate which completely grossed me out, and will cause me never to date this particular SW again, even though the rest of the experience was OK. It was so disgusting that I won't even link it to her name nor file a full report here on our date.

I had a date with a SW recently at the Carlyle. When we were finished she said she had to use the bathroom and I told her it was right around the corner. She got an anxious look on her face, took off her jeans and panties, squatted over the waste can, and proceeded to pee in it! To make matters worse the smell of it was putrid.

I was at a loss for words (a rarity for me, as you might imagine), but I finally had to ask her why she would do such a thing, and she said because she thought if she went in the bathroom that I might leave her there.

She was pretty and well built, and admittedly drug addicted, but peeing in the waste can....when the bathroom is right around the corner? That is inexcusable paranoia.
She's a lucky girl, if she had done that when with me it would've turned into a self furfulling prophecy as I would've definetely left her there after that. Not only is that disgusting it makes you look bad, I know from you're reports that you frequent this place pretty often, how's the "cleaning crew" gonna feel about the situation when they see what happened. All because she was paranoid you were gonna leave her. I've had girls scared I was gonna leave them before, I tell them that if I was there would be nothing they could do to stop me anyway. Yuck, now I'm really grossed out.

If you knew someone was following you, why'd you stop somewhere that was condusive to you being robbed, that's just plain dumb.

I ALWAYS make few turns and never discuss acts or price, or head to any parking spot or notel until I have made POSITIVELY SURE there is nobody following. I know that an undercover is unlikely to get in my car, but I take nothing for granted, and make sure there is no tail before I talk about anything even remotely incriminating. I also don't want anyone following me for the reason noted: some "friends" of the SW who would like nothing better than to separate me from my wallet, or worse. I also never go to a location suggested by the SW for same reasons: I don't want a nasty surprise either by LE or some thieves.

Wanting to have a little fun with a SW shouldn't cloud your judgment. I have been mongering a long time and I have never come even close to an LE sting or a robbery. And I don't plan on that changing at any time or for any reason.

Be careful out there.

Sorry to offend but I'm just trying to offer you a better way to pull off what you were trying to do. I think the rules state that you should post pictures that you have taken yourself. The has been acceptance of pictures from adds but my view point from a conservative technolgy stand point is that it almost never makes sense to duplicate pictures in the gallery. Being wasteful of resources no matter how plentiful is just raises the hairs on my back so I appologize if I come off a little harsh.

This isn't funny or simply disgusting. We should have our fun but remember that some things are just plain wrong. I’d really like to know who this girl was. Why not share this information with the rest of the board. Your information might save another monger from having to experience a similar occurrence. If she had tried to rip you off, you’d report that information to the board, right? If she had offered you bare back sex, you would report that, right? If her blow job was terrible, you would report that, right? Why not this? This is the type of girl I’d like to avoid – maybe. On one hand, if she is really hot, I might be able to excuse her behavior and assure her that I would never abandon her. On the other hand maybe I’d just avoid her if she is just a so, so date with average looks. Then again, on another hand, maybe I am into water sports.

I certainly agree that distracted driving is risky but after all the energy put into discussing the distractions of cell phones and even radios and conversations with passengers, we might take note of more serious distracted driving risk: Driving the K while scoping for SWs.

Driving a lap on the K involves doing a lot of distraction along the way.

WHILE DRIVING, I find myself absorbed in spotting the younger females and then looking them over carefully. Is she looking back at me? Is she good looking? Does she look alert or nodding out? Is there a pimp nearby? Is LE watching? Was that a red light I just rolled through? Is LE watching? Do I recognize this one? How young is she? WOW, that one is hot, where is the next place I can turn to loop back and get another look? Will another monger get her before I get back there? I'd love to make a U turn but, is LE watching?

You hit a nail on the head. Similar to another favorite activity, half and half, I prefer to give equal attention to safety/caution and spotting. In addition to spotting SWs, I want to be aware of pedestrians (who tend to cross the K wherever the hell they feel like it), traffic lights and potential dangers.

I rarely take too much time in the first instance of spotting a SW to check out all the details. I usually turn the nearest corner and get out on foot (sometimes saves a lot of time vs. making a loop depending where you are on the K, and it has other benefits as well) to scope it out up close and personal. That allows me to look out for and avoid LE, see if I recognize her (now that colder weather is coming they are going to be more bundled up in their hooded coats and sweatshirts, and much more difficult to recognize or evaluate properly until you are close), observe the attractiveness of the girl, note if she has a pimp or "boyfriend," and get a sense of whether she is strung out and/or nodding off and her personality. I can learn a lot more that way than even the most careful observations while driving.

I may miss a few hotties by not stopping right there on the K or hanging a U turn right there on the Ave like some other knuckleheads, but there are plenty of fish in the sea and it isn't the end of the world if I miss one.

You make some good points (regarding the waste can pee girl). As I said, the sexual experience was good, not fantastic, but good. Mongers might want to decide for themselves after reading my report of the experience. A monger might find what she did interesting and even exciting rather than disgusting.

I do have pictures and you have convinced me to post a report with pics. I would have taken some pics of her doing the deed, but I was in a mild state of shock at the time.

She definitely knew I was angry and I told her that I thought it was a very nasty and disgusting thing to do and showed no respect to the hotel and especially the cleaning crew.

I am sure equal to or worse things have occurred there such as barfing or bleeding all over the sheets or floors, cumming on the walls or floor, whatever. I was just so embarrassed at the time for myself and for her that I didn't mention it to the management. Things have a way of working out in one's mind with a little time, distance and perspective from a situation that catches one totally by surprise. Upon more careful reflection, the things I realize now that I should have done are the things that I will do, including posting the experience with pics, as you suggested, mentioning it to and apologizing to the management and leaving a tip for the cleaner (who will obviously remember the experience). Although I didn't do it, I assume the responsibility to make things right.

I am sure that many mongers would not have reported this experience for any variety of reasons. It is certainly not flattering in any sense. I have been accused of many things, from writing reports that sounded like they were improbable and came from the Penthouse Forum, to the similar improbability that I dated 7 SWs in a day. I consider any contention of these as pure jealousy and insecurity. Just because they don't or can't have these experiences doesn't mean that I don't or can't. But I don't just report sweetness and light. I have reported on bad and mediocre, and even a few close to danger experiences. Just like one of my favorite long movies, I report on "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly."

Both the mongers in question have very sick and demented fantasies to be sure. One has role played them with an ADULT SW. That might be reprehensible but it isn't EVIDENCE of child victimization, nor would I EVER encourage such. In the other case the monger wants to do something that is also sick and demented. But there is a big leap between wanting to do something and actually doing it.

Don't get me wrong. I personally think Louisiana has the right idea by doing the following with regard to convicted child predators:

* Requiring lifetime registration for all sexual offenders;
* Increasing sentences for sex offenders for a variety of offenses;
* Linking internet sites such as Facebook to link up with
the state’s sex predator database; and,
* Allowing for chemical castration of certain sex offenders on their first
offense.

If a Deep Throat in question wants to report either guy I think she would be doing society a favor. LE could certainly conduct a sting on these guys similar to what they do on the running TV series, "To Catch a Predator." But for you to urge me "publicly" to tell the DTs to do so as if I were their agent or parental authority of some sort is WAY out of line. They read this forum. They are directly involved in the activity in question. They are adults. They have to make up their own minds about what they want to do about it.

You seem to have a different story every time I respond to your complaints. First it was that there was "confusion" as to the location or availability in re-posted pics and that "memory" was not an issue. Now you claim that "technology" (learn to spell it, as well as "ads" for "adds" and "apologize" for "appologize;" there IS a spell checker built in here!) is the issue after all and that duplicate pics are a "waste of resources."

As an aside, you also seem to be very high-handed morally (regarding your other complaint) for someone posting on a board dedicated to getting sucked and fucked by SWs.

For someone so concerned about the "technology" you need to take a brief look at how to use the photo gallery before launching all these complaints to me about how my pics wind up in it. Yes, there IS a link to a report on every photo in the photo gallery, as I previously explained to you a couple of times now. LOOK at it!

I also explained some good reasons for duplicating previously posted pics in my reply to Permanent Wood. OK, I agree that my posting of the Figueroa pics was just in good fun, but it's not like I do that a lot. I can't remember ever re-posting a pic before without a good reason, and that reason was usually that it was in the interest of sharing information more clearly. My original photo journalism here speaks for itself. I have taken 60-70% of the new photos of SWs on the K this year and far more than that in volume. Considering that CJ has taken almost all of the rest (and is also the overwhelming pic and report contributor for the Camden stroll), I think I can make a good argument that I hardly am or need to be predominantly a vulture of others' pics.

Photos, maps, etc. only need to be uploaded to the server's hard drive one time, no need to host duplicate files, just use URL Hyperlinking (http://usasexguide.info/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode) (about 1/2 way down on page). Also, I never said compiling SW Stroll Maps to one thread wasn't a good idea, it can be done by hyperlinking the existing URLs (of the maps), and in doing so, you aren't limited to the 10 uploads per post.

All one has to do with the way I have it set up is to go to the post section alphabetically that one desires and pause one's cursor over each map briefly, and the name of each city is in the title of the map. With a hyperlink I could not change the title to make it this easy nor graphically evident.

While I appreciate your suggestion and see that it would be a better way to go if planning future links as opposed to re-postings, I hope you see that I did not do this just to be a nudge.

First it was that there was "confusion" as to the location or availability in re-posted pics and that "memory" was not an issue. BTW--had (have?) you ever used John's basement while in Baltimore? His place use(d) to be on Sargeant, near Cross, off the W/W loop. I don't know of many who make such worthy contributions to the Philly thread and to this forum. He writes well, has interesting things to say and gives us a ton of colorful and useful information about SWs on the K, complete with terrific pics. And his latest idea of a separate thread for SW Stroll Maps is outstanding. I am not trying to slight you in this CookyJar. You do a credible job as well and have built up a status and approach over the years worthy of copying. I guess I would say that CookyJar is the forerunner and street-smart version of a more intellectual and erudite Supereloquent. Both of your reports and pics are welcome in my monger library any time.

But you Mythbuster seem to bring little to the table except pompous criticism. I see little in the way of contribution and much in the way of self righteous attack.

I have almost given up the idea of visiting our 10 spot house in Philly any more. Tom, perhaps you can provide a step by step tutorial for us on here: "Making a Stroll Map for Dummies, and also post it in my SW Stroll Map Thread for other mongers around the country.

In response to this post here are the instructions for how I make stroll maps..

My first attempt worked. Maybe not the best method, but was free and easy.

Google maps..
Get any start and end locations, Drag them to where ever you want.
You can search either points or right click to add then. (See start end picture). For this example, I searched "n broad st and north st philadelphia, pa" to get the start point, then right clicked near the intersection of my end point.

Then drag a point on the connecting path to add a way point. The trick is to place cursor over the connecting path until a pointer finger appears, then drag that point to anywhere you want. You can add and drag as many way points as desired. (See way point picture.)

Drag start and end to be same location to create a closed loop.

Position the finished path to what you want to have save then Hold the Alt & "print screen"...this is windows screen capture. So zoom in the best that you can before you do this.

Open a image editor such as windows paint,
then ctrl & V (or Edit then paste) to load in the screen capture.

Now crop the image to remove excess.
Save as bmp format. This saves a good clear capture for editing to a reduced size for the forum.

Now with the more advanced editing, I have software that I bought, but I also have a freeware editor. I use (http://www.twocows.com/preview/504361?q=photo+editor) but you can download freeware that could do same functions. BTW, the ACD see viewer is very fast at loading large photos. Great for porn ;)

Edit the cropped image to show either 648 x 648 max. in jpg
or to be 390k max in bmp formats and save under a different name (remember to keep original in case resizing didn't work out). This new image file is what you will post on the forum.

A tip to reduce file size... change the color settings from true color to 256 colors. Any less and the image starts to get fuzzy.

I prefer jpg since the file size can be smaller with the same image quality.
Another tip...with jpg, set the file compression to be higher than 90% or the image quality will be noticeably reduced. Also, save to jpg only once, each time you do it the quality will be reduced by the compression %.

Also, when you edit the pixels, keep scale ratio the same as the current shown or image becomes distorted. The larger of the two must be 648 or less.
(Under windows paint, it is image then attributes)

If you find a different or better method, please let me know!

When you post the new map to the forum, please include useful info such as which corners are hot spots to find sw or best time of day to stroll, and where leo might be noticed.

If anyone sends me info to do a map, please be very specific with as many details as possible so that I can make an accurate stroll map and post good text along with it.
I will give credit to info provider unless if I'm told not to do so.
Also, if anyone has any "leads" to someone who might have a map idea, please ask them to send me the info. It is awkward cold contacting someone asking for this info. If you read a post by them, send me a link and I can take it from there.

By "the pics" am I assuming correctly that you mean the maps? I didn't erase a thing and neither did Tom (fbtom). I can't edit or erase after 24 hours, just as in any post, and I certainly can't erase anything in a post I didn't even create, and you can't "edit" anything either. If you want to create an updated stroll map it will have to be from scratch.

I could tell you to RTFF but I will be pleasant and explain everything to you. "fbtom" is another member from Philly who happens to know how to create maps easily and offered to create some. He even was kind enough to provide us with instructions regarding how to create our own stroll maps. He created some maps for the Philly strolls with input from others in the Philly thread. He also created a map for the Pompano Beach Stroll with input from a member there. Tom is no relation to me other than that I would consider him a good friend in the Philly thread. I didn't ask him to do the maps; he volunteered his help after seeing the map thread and after I had suggested that anyone interested in providing updated or new maps (particularly for Philly, because there hadn't been any posted before) could feel free to do so.

When I created the map thread I began with what I had: the most recent map versions I could find in the photo gallery.That's why I posted a message encouraging anyone with direct information to feel free to post updates.
You say the Baltimore maps were outdated. I am sure some of the maps in other cities are outdated as well. I had no way of knowing when I started the thread if any of the maps were up to date or not. So I am relying upon members who know their strolls to provide updated maps for the thread. One such member who came forward regarding the Baltimore map was

This is the very definition of "flaming." There is no cause for that. It is specifically forbidden in the rules of this forum. I am happy to see that several posts of this type simply disappeared, as they should, by good administration of this forum in the interests of keeping the discussion civil and productive.

There are other complaints which are not necessarily personal or nasty, but that I wind up scratching my head about. The complaints about Super's map thread fall into that category. He provided what I thought was a terrific idea for a new thread: all the SW Stroll Maps in one place. It gives us one place to reference if we are traveling to another city, or for the newbie mongers to use in any city. Yet there are members complaining that some of the maps are "wrong" or that they aren't in the right alphabetical order, etc. Super didn't author these maps. He just collected them together in one place. If a member has better information on a stroll he now has a place to post an updated stroll map. Directions are even posted on how to create a good map from fbtom (thanks again, Tom). I haven't tried to upload many images to one post, but it is obvious when looking at the image numbers from someone like CookyJar or Super that the images seem to get posted in some random order that might have to do with size or some other criteria? I have been mongering for 15 years and know the ins and outs. Plus my brother is a police officer in the south jersey town I grew up in so I know my rights very well. Am clean cut and there is nothing in my car that would have illicited a search. According to my brother, being in an area known for illegal activity can subject you to an automatic search.

Laws apply to state and local jurisdictions. They aren't all universal. I am aware from some of my own legal research that in "some jurisdictions." just being in a high crime area can constitute probable cause for a search. Whether that applies in Philadelphia I am not certain. Philly LEOs certainly seem to try their share of intimidation, whether legally warranted or not. In any case, you have a right to assert your 4th amendment right against illegal search and seizure simply by stating you do not voluntarily consent to a search. You don't have to do it in a confrontational manner, but you do have a right to assert it, regardless whether you have anything to hide or not.

Maybe LEOs are targeting out of state plates on certain parts of the stroll. Maybe all traffic in those areas is being watched. We will see if it is reported by other mongers.

I have always maintained that SWs who cared about getting and maintaining good clients would give better service if they knew they were being reviewed.
