I just have a quick question, anybody can answer!
The strip joints in Irvington (Champange room, I forget the one next to the Hess gas station, or any other ones in the area) are they still open? I haven't been out there all year & would like to partake in some fun before 09 gets here!
I'm not good with the names or streets (really its been a while) but I drive out there & know my way around plus I got a couple tour guides in that area, lol!

CR is still around. They changed the name (don't remember it off the top of my head) but it is still on Clinton. They cleaned it up (not as sleazy or nasty) and repainted inside but its basically the same. $5 cover after 8pm Sun-Thur. $10 Fri & Sat.
Vics on Stuyversant always has something decent going on. Take-out and eat-in are also available. They are open 6 days a week,from 12noon - about 6:30p. Closed on Sun. $5 cover Thur-Sat.
Pacemakers on Lyons Ave is pretty good too but they are only open at night after like 10pm on Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat not sure about Sun. It doesn't get jumping until afer 12.
There are a few other clubs in the area, Doll House, Slicks, Embers. I usually take a pass on them cause they havent been worth the time and effort to park and secure the car and go in.
Keep your eyes open, be careful and stay alert, Irvington is still mad ghetto.

Slick's was a bust; Litterally the same girls that I have seen there for the last year and a half. Place was boring and nothing much was happening.
Champagne Room on the other hand had some good stuff happening. 4 or so girls in the club. 2 were 7 or better. One of the 7's was on stage when I came in. Lots of pussy flashing from her. Her friend (the other 7, hispanic, 5'5" really pretty with a fat ass) gave me a bar side lap dannce. Quoted me $10 for the song or $20 with mr. Happy out. I went for the $20 dance. She advised me that I should chk out Sights. Said it's gotten better girl wise, safety wise and that we could do alot more there. I'll be checking Sights out another time.

Even with their crazy entrance process and security its still like what Chris Rock said ". Going to clubs with metal detectors; sure there are no guns inside. But what about all thoses niggas outside. They know you ain't got one. "
It was like $35 to get in and the same girls from CR and the other Irv clubs are there and they charge at least twice as much. Sure its REAL dark and they have VIP areas but you pay alot more for virtually the same service you could get elsewhere. YMMV but the rewards didn't always out weight the risks (or cost). At least for me they didn't.
Guys, are these places black or white. I'm white and I don't want to go a) where I'm not wanted, or b) where I'll feel unsafe...any thoughts?
I don't me to offend anyone ... I just don't want to have or cause any problems.

Have fun, be safe and report backThat's also been my experience at Vic's. Yeah, some of the folks standing around out front can look intimidating, but just be cool and act like you belong there. Dine-in and carry-out is available, in various selections for different appetites. If you need a place to rest for a while, the 50 Ball Motel is a dump, but the convenience, proximity, and (maybe) price are right. I usually try to catch Vic's when they open at Noon, but getting there at closing can also be interesting since some gals are a bit more flexible at that late hour. Summertime is a good time to catch a cold soda or other beverage at Vic's. Enjoy, amigo.

Passed by Vics 2weeks ago at about 3pm with a friend of mine. The place was good, although my usual girl complained that noone spends any cash on the girls anymore. "they just sit there and drink" whatever that means. Anyhow, got my usual takeout and was happy to leave by 4pm.
Anybody got good recommendations for high mileage clubs?

I'm new to USG, but a vet of the Essex Co. Strip club/go-gos (I. E. Vs and Ss). I was just checking out the Nwk thread for the first time, saw this post and had to set the record straight on good ole Sights:
- Safety. I've been going there since the middle of this decade and I've only seen a handful of skirmishes (all inside). The security is serious both inside and outside the club. The main thing is that cats come to this joint for the females, NOT to start problems with each other! Plus, the only people around the club at night are the patrons.
- Cover. Yes, it's 35 for the first time, but 25 with a membership card, which you typically get on your first visit. IMHO, this is a fair price to pay to get into a full service spot.
- Sights vs Irv go-gos. On any given night in Sights, maybe half the girls in there also work in the Irv spots. But there's still another half that don't. from NYC, Philly, other states, etc. And let me make this clear, you WILL NOT get the same service in the Irv go-gos that you'll get in Sights! Most of the Irv joints don't even have private rooms. In Vs, where the mileage is the highest, the best you'll get is a yank or 'special' lapdance. To repeat, Sights is FULL SERVICE!
- Prices. Putting aside the cover, you basically pay the same as you would for takeout from V + a stay at Ball. and potentially less, depending on the individual.
I don't mean to ruffle any feathers, but this post was way off base and I had to let the mongers who come thru the Bricks know what the deal really is.

Thinking about taking a roadtrip to Vic's over the weekend and had a few questions. Oh, I've been there 3 time before. So, I basically know the set-up. But Vic's is #1 on my list for over-the-top clubs w/wild ass youngs girls willing to make a man happy.
First, I was wondering if it's still open? I have not seen any activity on the boards lately. And if so, are they open Sunday's too? Anything new going on there?
Second, Vic's closes normally closes like 5 or 6pm. What is there to do after that? Where do the Vic girls go? With all that rubbing and drinking, I like to leave my options open about hanging around for the night, hitting some other other spots, and maybe getting a hotel. What other clubs would I have hands-on fun at bargain prices.
All info is appreciated. We have to get this forum going again!

I have been going to nordone's in elizabeth for a while. If you want full service look for jenifer or tease. Tease will let you do anything you want at the bar or in the vip. With jenifef you have 2 take her back to the vip. But the good thing with both, you don't need 2 spend extra.

Stopped by Nordones tonight from about 8 – 10 not much going on there were about 12 guys and 6-8 girls working. I had some money to spend but it didn't seem like they wanted it they would come by for a tip after the stage dance but didn't come by on my side of the bar. It's their loss I took $300 out of the cash machine on the way over and was prepared to give it to the right woman.

I just left the champagne room in irvington. This chick name tease. Aka brenda. Hooked it up. She took care of me 4 the low low. Guys you need to check her out she'll do anything. I think she's inbetween a rock 'n a hard place but she's clean and just tryin to get it together so she probably won't be there long. If she's not at the Champagne Room you can find her in Elizabeth at Nordones. Its worth it, get it while you can. Please report back and let me know what you think. Just returned from a trip to the Hood.
Visited Paradizo (formerly Champagne Room) Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Previous reports have discussed the club and its attractions pretty accurately. As with all things YMMV, but I found the full range of dancer types and opportunities to be available according to your desires and tastes.
Visited Vic's on Saturday, tried mid afternoon Sunday but was closed so headed to Paradizo. Vic's on Saturday was hoppin' and met my expectations although was somewhat more subdued than some of the more fanciful recent reports have suggested. Full range of attractions and opportunities available as usual but in house activities were definitely on the discreet side, and the owner seemed to be keeping a pretty tight reign on dancers that began to engage in anything that appeared to go beyond the standard dance practice. Don't know whether they're under some kind of scrutiny but in-house action was definitely restrained.
Also visited Nardone's Angels. Bit more like a standard strip club, larger, higher prices, VIP room specials, previous reports also seemed fairly accurate about opportunities although my experience suggested that return on investment was more in line with standard strip clubs than other local establishments.
Also visited Pacemakers. Opportunity, but attractions not of the standard of other establishments.
Also visited Bottoms Up. Tame. Didn't stay more than half an hour.
Conclusions:
From my one trip experience Vic's and Paradizo (formerly CR) offered best of opportunity and value and were consistent with the more realistic rather than the more embellished reports on this forum.
Another comment, since this post related to Tales from the Hood. I'm a white guy and found no problems. Staff, entertainers and customers quite reasonably checked me out until they were comfortable with who I was, but at no time did I feel uncomfortable or at risk in any way (except from the usual stupidity you can do to yourself). Normal street smarts should of course apply, but I saw no cause for concern.
In short, I was made welcome once I had gotten past the understandable initial caution. If other white guys have problems or nervousness about the area or the clubs then my advice would be that if you don't bring an attitude with you and just respect people for who they are then you are probably going to be fine. In this context respect includes recognition and appropriate response to both the good and the bad which exists in all cultures.

I don't tip for being a drug addict or a skank. I would not compare this to Vics. Vics has some nice girls and I have some good times there and recommend it. Sights is a dive and readers should avoid it !

First, what 'service' are you referring to? So are you suggesting that cats who patronize the go-go/strip club scene in and around Nwk should go the Spitzer route -- for real? If you're not full of shit, post some credible info on such a service.
Second, you can recognize that most of the Vics girls are not hot and that only a few are tight, but you can't acknowledge the same thing @ Sights? Mind you, like half the dancers in Sights work @ the Irv go-gos anyway. So wouldn't there be at least the same % of gems -- and a larger quantity at that.

This will be my last response to this thread. Readers can make their own judgement on this place based on prior reviews. As far as Vics is concerned, there is as I mentioned before a few diamonds in the rough. Some of the girls go to SIGHTS and maybe some of them maybe ok looking. For the money,it is not worth it. You can have a better time with a quality escort ( outcall service ) then the garbage this place attracts. Why spend the same money for sex with someone that looks like they crawled out of the sewer when you can get much better and safer service from a reputable outcall service. As I wrote above, this is my last response on this thread. I encourage anyone else that has been there to contribute to this thread since the purpose of this board is to share experience / knowledge.

When I went there it was around 2am that they opened up. You have to wait in line to be checked , photo'd and frisked. good luck

You're correct that Sights opens late @ 2am. However, most of the girls don't show up 'til @ 3am, after the Irv and NYC clubs have closed.
The security is tight, it consists of being patted down like 2 times, and filling out some bs-able paperwork, b/c it's a 'private social club'. I welcome these security measures b/c they keep the would-be hooligans out.
And most importantly, once you get inside you'll see why the lines are typically quite long!

At first I wanted to believe that IAL was a legit monger who just had a bad experience on his ONE visit to Sights, but now I'm convinced that he is a fraud! How much did I spend? Re-read my last post, I included common monger code for the amount in question -- perhaps you should ask a real monger to decipher it for you.
Not worth the trip -- one of the main draws of Sights is that it's right off the highway, so it's easily accessible from NNJ and NYC. Dude, you keep soundin' like a teenager when you talk about shit like 'scabies'. It's definitely not the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, but they do clean the backrooms in Sights throughout the night.
Finally, you keep sayin' that the talent was low quality on the night you went, but again, you only went there ONE time! Plus, how long ago was that one visit, IAL? I went to Nardone's today it was a lot like Lookers. The girls come up and dance, expect a dollar then scurry away. In every other city I have been in these chics work you on a personal level and you can figure out your level of interaction could be with them.

Later on I retraced my steps and figured out I must have lost it there. So about 4 hours later I go back in and ask the bouncer about the usual procedure on such things, figuring I'd be out of luck. A middle aged woman walked it out to me and encouraged me to count the money and let me know if a single dollar was missing. Everything was intact (and no, a guy with my name didn't open 6 lines of credit later either). I don't recommend leaving your wallet anywhere, but I was pleasantly surprised that they took pride in not allowing any of the dancers to steal the money.

I hit up Champagne and Slicks on Tues and last night between 10:30-12am, the talent wasn't as good as I thought it would be with Vics closed.

I was in Irvington a few days ago. Passed vics where there seemed to be some remodeling going on. Went to Champagne Room, or whatever its called. Its been remodeled but in the afternoons the girls seem fat and lazy. Then, went to the newly renovated club on Lyons. There's been a club here for a long time but now it has a new name. I liked it! Lot of energy, some attractive girls, sexy environment with a small VIP area which, I was told, can be accessed for $10 for the club plus whatever you've negotiated with the gal. I had a good time here and I'm a white, old timer who remembers Town Tap.

I wouldn't waste my time in Newark. Pacemaker lounge is the raunchiest, but opens 7:30pm. Vic's is still the same just with a new interior. Champagne room, no action ITC, but OTC is available with a lot of girls. Slicks has some hot girls, but no ITC. OTC here is more difficult than the previous two. Never been to dollhouse so I can't say anything about it.

If your run the 1&9 stroll and strike out, the get off on Secacaus Road and shoot on down to AJ's.
I frequent the place regularly, and its one the best in NJ.

Nothing at all like vic's. Been there, a bit too scary. This area has alot of truck traffic, since its close to a jersey tpk enterance and exit.
NO COVER. NO Minimum Drink order. Girls are like any strip club. A handful of singles will get many girls approaching you. But thats a good thing here.

The Poster wanted information about Miller's Lounge on Washington St in Newark near Market St. Miller's is a whole in the wall bar. The dancers are all African-American, and to be blunt I have never seen an attractive one in this bar. The dance stage is at the far end of the bar. Being in Newark there is not lap dancing. Going into the bar is like going into a time warp. The music is all form a juke box which has a lot of R&B from the '70s. Also, the drinks are reasonable priced. If you want to hear old Kool & the Gang or O'Jays songs and like cheap drinks this is your place. If you want to see a hot dancer this is the last place to go.

More often than not I'll hit up a club on a Fri or Sat night and the places are pretty empty.
The week days are more of an enigma. Club is packed on a Tues and then the following Wed; 2 girls & 1 customer.

I made a quick trip to NJ recently and thought I would visit my ol' stopping grounds. I was actually going to stop in GoGo Rama but the parking lot was packed. This was Friday at about 9 pm. Have not been to VICs in a while so I decided to stop by just to do some recon. I already figured it would be the same talent from the last few years with one or two newbies.
Boy was I wrong, after a $5 cover charge and a $5 beer, it was clear that business has slowed down quite a bit. There were two dancers and probably ten guys. The guys were not paying any attention to the two dancers, like me they were waiting for better options.
Management needs to get some dancers in the club.
Instead the DJ is constantly barking, "three drink minimum"no why don't you get a minimum of three good looking dancers in here.
Then the DJ says, "you should be touching and tipping the ladies"no you should be recruiting some ladies and just stick to playing the music.
Then the DJ says, "I don't want to see any empty glasses or bottles"really, now the DJ is begging and is worst than ugly dancers doing a $1 tip parade.
DJ you can not force the issue, get some quality girls in there and everything will fall in place. And the dancers do not need twenty tattoos, one or two will do fine.
Patrons don't need a DJ trying to MC rules and regulations when the quality of the girls does not inspire spending money on drinks or tips.
Question....Does the DJ use the mic to tell you to buy drinks and laugh at a comedy club when the comedian is NOT FUNNY?

Most of the entertainers were cordial and if you sit on the outskirts then you don't have to worry about tipping and / or dance requests (if you are one who watches from a distance) because they operate differently than most places when it comes to dances. I went with a very fine woman to the VIP area and happy that I did. Got her info (and a couple others) but YMMV. I waled away. 18 short but that's because I tip everyone and everything that moves and even more if you now what you are doing.

1) Villa. It was horrible, 4 women in there and they were all really past their prime. I was the only customer. Oddly, one brasilain woman (late 40's- early 50's) still had a halfway decent ass on her. You could tell she was proabably a real looker back in her 20's. Drink prices are higher, now $5. 5 for a domestic beer. What was really surprising is that they discourage lap dancing at the bar. You have to stand up or be against the wall. This is to stop the full service lap dances which this club used to be famous for. They now have 2 "VIP" rooms for $25. I did not find out if there was a time limit nor what the dancer wants. I guess the $25 goes to the house. Some of the girls I saw have been there for every. Miami very attractive girl with a very nice body and a great personality. Star has been there for ever. Tall and then with an attractive face. Sky, has also been there for ever. She has a baby face and a big rack and is getting thicker. Jersey still works there as well. I will definitely be back.

Only street parking at Embers no parking lot. If going at night really no cars are around so you are free to park where you to choose. Lots of open space. Plus lots of street walkers available to if that's your thing.

I went to Club Paradizio Saturday afternoon and did not have a great time. This place used to be the spot before they got shut down by the state of NJ. The drink prices are the same as before. They have done some renovations but it is pretty much the same club. They have a new owner, along with Madison they have a Russian woman who seems to be calling the shots. They now have a shit load of new rules. No lap dancing at the bar. There is a lap dance area in the rear of the bar and you have to pay $10 to get into it. Then the girl is going to want $10 per song etc. I actually saw the bouncer break-up a lap dance at the bar. A girl said they were going to open up a couple of VIP rooms upstairs in a couple of weeks. The cost would be $25 just like Vic's. The old Club Paradizio (Champ Room) is gone I guess.
The girls dancing Saturday afternoon were Carmen from Philly, Essence, Diamond and Candy. They also have the short Mexican bartender from Vic's working on Saturdays. Sugar, from Philly, is the gate keeper for the lap dance area. She was also flashing her tits from time to time. The good thing was I got to meet some old friends. I will come back to just to collect phone numbers for OTC hook ups. But I am not happy with the NEW Paradizio.

Club Paradizio is open I went Thursday night. With all the talk of this ultra high mileage club back open I said hell yea I'm going Irvington. Well I went and it kind of fucking sucked. Son of a * at the door made me pay $5. 00 then had to pay another $5 for a drink. Once inside the "new" Paradizio it hardly had any patrons the male bouncers greatly outnumbered the customers and the dancers were exactly 5 ebony's. The dancers are your average Irvington girls like from Vics but the real question is do they provide extras. From my first visit it was hard to tell but I want to believe extras are to be had. The layout is exactly the same from before and management is your typical liberal LOL that means anything goes.
This club is legally a bikini club but all of the dancers had their tits out which was a positive addition. The new Paradizio also has a VIP area but the logic in that is pointless over time people will be fucking out in the open just like old times.
Paradizio is open and the dancers are as liberal as Vics, when you see tits out in the open in a bikini club you know you have a high mileage joint like Vics.

I went to Paradizio Saturday around 2:20 in the afternoon. When I walked in there were no girls working. Had a beer and bought a beer for Nikki (100% Beef) who was tending bar. After a while Carmen came out and started working the bar. The restrictions seem to have been eased as she would work the bar giving lap dancing, among other things, at the bar and no one had an issue with it. Later Trina, big blond girl with a huge ass came in and started working the bar as well. It kind of had the fill of the old Champagne Room. Sugar came in around 4 and took her roll guarding the paid lap dance area but she didn't seem to have an issue with the girls working the bar. At that time a lot more guys came in and the girls who had arrived kind of hung around in the dressing room. Sugar had to run back and tell them to get out there. Stopped by Sunday night around halftime of the New Orleans / LA game.
What a crazy 20 minutes I had there.
Didn't pay a cover walked in. 2 AA's girls sitting at the bar with their backs to the door. One was ENORMOUS. Like an elephant. The other was a little smaller. I sat down next to her. Maybe another 3 girls on the left side chatting with the 3-4 black guys on that side of the bar. 1 old white guy on the right next to another black guy.

Anyway. About a minute into being there the music suddenly shuts off and the girls start laughing. Apparently it was some issue with whose phone was connected to the sound system. I went to Paradizio Saturday around 2 in the afternoon. Club Paradizio or the old Champagne Room is dead with little change of being revived. No more lap dancing at the bar unless it is done standing up. This was being enforced. They have a VIP area for $25, which is nothing but the back of the club separated by an opaque shower curtain. Day time drink prices were raised from $3 to $5 for a domestic beer. Same girls and same crappy environment the prices have just doubled for everything. Why would anyone come here? No more lap dancing at the bar unless it is done standing up. This was being enforced. They have a VIP area for $25, which is nothing but the back of the club separated by an opaque shower curtain. Day time drink prices were raised from $3 to $5 for a domestic beer. Same girls and same crappy environment the prices have just doubled for everything. Why would anyone come here? TM.So let me start off by saying that I've been a long time lurker of this site with 20+ years of mongering in the Newark area. Paradizio / Champagne room has a long history of making themselves a gentleman's club after the get busted, shutdown, etc. But after a few weeks it's business as usual.
