It might make sense to add Elgin to the list of strolls. Below was in the Daily Herald today.
Elgin chief meets neighbors on prostitutes, drugs

Elgin police are committed to ensuring pimping, prostituting, drug-dealing and abusing don't come easy on the city's near west side.
To that end, they have devoted additional police resources to the area and last week arrested two prostitutes known as "Country" and "Alley Cat," Chief Lisa Womack said Thursday during a two-hour meeting with 11 residents at the police station.
Drugs are also down in the neighborhood, thanks to new security measures implemented by management at the Buena Vista Tower, 222 Locust Street, she said.
That includes cameras on every floor, alarms on the stairwell doors and hiring off-duty Chicago police officers as security guards, said manager Brenda Huff.
While Greg Schneider, the neighborhood's live-in officer, is off figh ting in Iraq, Womack has assigned officer Tony Rigano, who serves the southeast side in the Resident Officer Program of Elgin, to make his presence known on the near west side as well.
"Perception is everything," Rigano said. "If you get the criminals to realize and understand that the police are in the neighborhood and not going anywhere, they're going to think twice before they continue their criminal activity."
For the first time, Womack heard complaints also about the disconnect some residents say exist between Schneider and themselves.
Chuck Keysor, president of the Near West Neighbors Association, said Schenider wasn't visible enough in the area, had inadequate communication skills with residents and skipped neighborhood meetings.
"He's a good man and I like him; that's why I haven't complained," Keysor said. "It's hard to complain about someone you like."
While Womack said she can't address that issue until February when Schneider returns, resident Roy Chapman accused Keysor of changing the meeting's focus.
"I thought we were here to talk about drugs and prostitutes," Chapman said. "I didn't know it was roast the ROPE officer. I don't think that's appropriate."
The meeting came eight days after 20 residents pleaded with city leaders and the police chief at a council meeting to help them quell crime.
For the last three months, the neighborhood has enjoyed the lion's share of police resources, Womack said.
The majority of complaints about the neighborhood's working girls originate from State and Chicago Streets, "a highly traveled corridor" that includes several businesses and the bus station.
"The nature of some of the businesses that provide food and beverages ... it's got places that tend to attract loitering," Womack said.
Womack declined to single out any one establishment, but says police have had varying success with some of the owners and landlords when it comes to fighting crime.
While the department continues evaluating where the ROPE houses are in relation to the city's crime, moving the ROPE house to another spot in the neighborhood has finally become an option, something near west neighbors have wanted since 2005.
"We don't feel on Union Street there's that many problems," said resident Cinda Bates. "In our area, we have a lot of problems and we would like to have a ROPE officer moved into that area."
To be sure, drugs are more of an issue in the neighborhood than prostitutes, Womack said.
Residents wanted to know what they could do to help police and Gary Joy, former president of the neighbors association, suggested they form a citizen patrol to monitor crime.
Womack encouraged neighbors to continue calling police and report any suspicious activity in great detail to police.
Keysor floated the idea of either creating a local database with pictures of known prostitutes and johns or asking local publications to do it as a community service.
"When we can say this person is a known prostitute ... it's going to lower the rate of people being pulled over for nothing," Keysor said.
But Carl Missele, a member of the police Citizen's Advisory Group, questioned whether the neighbors open themselves to lawsuits for calling someone out on their alleged behavior, if it turns out the accused aren't convicted in a court of law.

We should ask the Elgin police for the list of prostitutes so that we can post it here. Knowing who the ho's are will allow us to help get them off the street (at least for a few minutes...)

So I got out of work early yesterday and had the chance to cruise through Elgin at noon time. Although I did not sucessfully pick up an SW's I am sure that I saw a few around town, which gives me confidence that there is action. I picked my areas to search by going to the Daily Herald website and searching "Prostitution Elgin". The best part of town seems to be by the bus station. There were some girls hanging around by the bridge on Chicago AVe., they weren't too bad looking, but I am not sure if they were SW's (maybe having off hours) or what. In general there was a collection of "vagrants" hanging out here.
Early mornings (6-6:30) seem to be dead. I have yet to try the evenings. Hope you other guys are having better luck then me.

I meant to file this report over the weekend but was extremely busy. I ran into Tina a girl I have not seen for over a year now. I very quick time was had by all and it was very enjoyable. This was between noon and 1pm just as the rain was hitting that day. It started just out as a ride and then grew. I found her over on Raymond.

Thanks for the update. I saw a woman hanging out in the park by Raymond street the other day. She just kep sitting on the bench, I thought she may have been an SW, but she really didn't make an effort to move despite some eye contact.
I did cruise Raymond and some other parts after work (3:00-3:30ish) yesterday but really didn't see anything. Also swung through on my way in this morning (6AM), nothing.
It definetely seems that noon is the more active time in the area.

I also saw the thread and looped raymond, bus area, and strip mall area just to get a lay of the land and saw nothing@ 5-5:30. Can I get a description of Tina?
Tina is a WSW in her late 30's about 5' 6". She is very clean looking.
Went through Elgin this morning (around 6AM), came in off of Rt. 20 onto State Street (rt.31) and as I was going down what I think was National I saw a nice looking SW. She was thin, olive complected (hispanic possibly), short black hair. Cute body. She was walking towards the clock tower strip mall by the casino boat. She gave me the look as I went past her on the bridge there, but by time I got turned around she was gone.

I went out very late last night or early this morning if you please. Basically the 1am hour. I had no intention on finding anyone. Low and behold who do I see walking down National right by the Casino parking lot non other than Tina.
Now I have to say she is shorter than 5' 6". But this time she was definitely tweaking out because she was a bit on the crazy side and there was no smell of alcohol. I should not have picked her up. After seeing her tweaking I had no desire for anything. So we drove for a bit and I kept on telling her to put on her seatbelt. Then I saw him stop and turn up a side street real slow in fact it looked like he was turning around. So now I am starting to flip a bit and I headed out of there faster and thank God for the hills in the area. Never made it to McD's. Just dropped her off at the gas station and went home.
The moral here is Tina is really nice when she is not tweaking.

Been cruising Elgin regularly with not much luck but have seen and absorbed quite a bit, especially le. I have a question if fellow cruisers have observed a 5'5" long blonde hair woman in the 30's. I've seen her at bus station and now again today on 31 north of national with a couple of guys. Had eye contact with her once but that was just after she had a conversation with Uncle leo. Any one have info on this one? She carries an orange messenger bag.

We've been bantering over Elgin, has anyone had any other luck in nearby towns? I travel around quite a bit during the day and would love to cruise any other "hot" spots. I have seen walkers on Hill Ave in Aurora but don't get down that way much any more. Info would be greatly appreciated.

But Elgin did not let completely let us down, thru a CL escort post I did find this lovely cock worshipper who "loves to suck". Did the Elgin Cruise yesterday and was almost sucessul. Saw a girl who I was pretty sure was a WSW around 4PM. Watched walk around aimlessly for awhile. the noticed she was hanging out on the bridge on Highland Ave. As I was waiting to turn another hobbyist convinced her to get in his SUV. I will keep an eye out for this one though, she was pretty cute. She was wearing black shorts and a red t-shirt that said Leisure Zone.
Hopefully the rain will be over when I get done with work today and I can try my luck again.

Was this sighting a blonde? I've seen one in that area now and again but couldn't confirm she was a SW. Seems to be quite a hangout there at the bridge. Notice there is an under road walk way/vagrant playground @ Chicago and looks like it extends over to National.

I was crusing thru Elgin last night and decided to check out the area. I didn't see anything out and was going to call it a night. As I was headed out I was passing a McDonalds near 25 and Lake St. A skinny chick with light brown hair was walking out of the parking lot. It was cold so I offered her a ride. Was on my way home last night around 12:30 and decided to drive thru elgin. Had to stop at the JJ Peppers on rt 31 and as I was going in there I seen a black lady just kind of loitering inside the laundrymat that is connected to the store. I was out on the hunt this afternoon and spent a good amount of time taking in the sights. I have seen a dirty blonde on a few previous cruises wandering around but not really giving a look. Police have busted what they call a house of prostitution just 800 feet from Larkin High School, arresting three in the process.
Jesus Enriquez-Rodriguez, 25, of the 2000 block of West Algonquin Road in Mount Prospect, has been charged with pimping and operating a house of prostitution within 1,000 feet of a school, police said. Both charges are felonies.
Likewise, two women working inside the house were both charged with felony prostitution within 1,000 feet of a school, police said.
They are Rosa Haydee Canjura-Garcia, 36, of the 0-100 block of Evergreen Lane in Carpentersville, and Fabiola Peregrino-Acopa, 26, of the 1400 block of Meyer Street in Elgin.
The apartment, in the 1400 block of Meyer Street, is roughly 800 feet from the school.
According to court documents, undercover officers gave Enriquez-Rodriguez a total of $80 for 15 minutes of sex with each woman - $40 would have gone to each woman.
As part of the house arrangement, the women would be allowed to keep $20, while the other half would have helped support the household, documents said.
Elgin Deputy Police Chief Jeff Swoboda said the house had been under police surveillance for about two weeks.
"We started getting complaints ... that it was looking like a prostitution ring and of a lot of people coming and going," Swoboda said.
Swoboda said prostitutes worked at the house for a certain period of time before moving on to other addresses.
"It wasn't the same prostitutes all the time," Swoboda said.
After Enriquez-Rodriguez led the undercover officers to Canjura-Garcia and Peregrino-Acopa, police executed a search warrant on the house and arrested all three people, documents said.
Carpentersville police assisted in the investigation.
The bonds set by Kane County Judge John Noverini Thursday morning were 10 percent of $5,000 for Canjura-Garcia and Peregrino-Acopa.
The bond for Enriquez-Rodriguez was 10 percent of $20,000.
None were able to post bond and they were sent to the Kane County jail to await their next court date.
They are due to appear in court March 27 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

I don't think your post was hard to read, I believe UTR stands for "under the radar" and yes I've had some good experiences with providers in Elgin in the past but they are tough to find.

Elgin Police arrested a South Elgin woman
Elgin Police arrested a South Elgin woman they found in a compromising position - on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She could face additional charges as well, police said.
According to reports:
An officer on patrol saw 24 year old April having sex with a man she said was her boyfriend at 1:29 a.m. Monday inside a Dodge Dakota pickup parked at South Riverside Drive and Prairie Street.
April told the officer she is a recovering heroin addict who started using two months ago and warned him that he would find hypodermic needles inside the truck.
But in addition to 27 needles, the officer also found 17 condoms, receipts from a local hotel with April's name on them and pieces of paper that detailed advertised prices for prostitution and others with scheduled dates, specific prices, phone numbers and locations.
The officer seized those items as evidence for possible prostitution charges.
"We don't have any additional charges at this time, but there is the potential for future charges based on information that we received during the investigation," Elgin Deputy Police Chief Jeff Swoboda.
April told the officer she's learning how to sell herself as a prostitute on a popular consumer Web site and that a woman recommended that she charge $150 an hour. But she said Monday's encounter doesn't qualify as prostitution because the man is her boyfriend.
April and the man were cited under a local ordinance for endangering the public health and are due in court Sept. 15 in Elgin. She is scheduled to appear in court on the more serious charges Sept. 25.

Good afternoon! This report is for a visit last month which I have been meaning to post. Note: I had not been to Blackjacks since the remodel (I'm guessing my last visit was in 2004 when they featured air dances.)
Went to Blackjacks on a Friday morning, right when they were opening up shop (approx. 11:30am). Was greeted by a friendly fellow whom I took to be a manager (he drives a nice Jaguar). No cover at this time of day, but I was hungry and figured why not have a meal, watch some pretty girls, and see where it goes.
The only patron in the place, I ordered a cheeseburger/fries/pop. Sort of generic stuff. I think all the strip clubs that offer food order their ingredients and supplies from Sysco. A couple of regulars started to amble in. The DJ introduced the girls at about noon. They all came on stage and then walked out into the seating area. A chocolate lover, I'm usually on the lookout for the ebony ladies, though Latinas are near the top of my list as well. Out of about 15 or so women, there was one ebony dancer. I tried to make eye contact with her and failed. Another dancer came to my table, but I kindly let her know that I wasn't interested. Seeing my ebony target once again (she had slipped into a back room for a time) and being in a time crunch (I had some errands to run in the afternoon), I got out of my seat and approached her for some private dances. She was young, about 20-21, toned body, gorgeous breasts, very pretty. I found out her name was LeLa (not sure on the spelling).

After chatting for a song or two (learned she's from Milwaukee originally and now lives in the area), LeLa was encouraging us to get started; a manager-type (not the Jaguar-driving fellow) walked back to check on us, and she then proceeded with her lap dances, which she did with enthusiasm and which were fairly good (especially compared to what was on offer previously, but which were still overpriced). You might get a better deal on contact dances if you went to one of the clubs in Melrose Park or Stone Park, and you'd definitely get a better deal if you went to Arnie's in Harvey. (The latter is highly recommended if you are an ebony affectionado.)
Anyhoo, the dances were over and I pulled out my cash to pay up. That is when things started getting interesting. Unbeknownst to me, the time I spent talking to LeLa was being charged as well, because LeLa said that I owed $120. 00 for four songs versus $60. 00 for two! We left the booth area and went up to the front counter, where there was a cash register. She explained the situation to the manager-type who had checked on us; while I could have protested, I figured it wouldn't get me anywhere and that perhaps I should have known better (especially having been in the sport for going on 12 years). Furthermore, LeLa did keep trying to encourage us to get started, but I was enjoying the conversation and didn't catch her signals. Blackjacks has one of those wretched highway robbery ATMs with a minimum withdrawal amount (about sixty bucks, IIRC), so I extracted the necessary cash (thank God it was payday for me) and paid the man.
What can I say. Even a strip club veteran makes a rookie mistake every now and then. Lessons learned:
1) If you want to know more about the girl, ask her come to your table and talk to her in the open seating area versus going straight to the booths.
2) Ask questions, e. G., "Am I being charged even when we haven't started yet? " My previous experience, which may have gotten me in trouble, was that at many clubs there is more leeway, especially if you go to the private area in mid-song.
LeLa accompanied me back to my seat. She felt bad about what had happened, but I said not to worry about it. We agreed that if I returned to the club at a later date and danced with her, I would tell her how many dances I wanted upfront. Anyway, after some more talking, it was her turn on stage, so flush with cash, I watched her dance and tucked a couple of bucks in her G-string. She went in the back to freshen up, then came back to my table and I bid her farewell.
So highs/lows/verdict are as follows:
Highs: The club was clean and much classier than its previous iteration. It did not sound like the DJ was cutting song lengths, but then I didn't have a stopwatch out either. The food was reasonable. The women who were there were fairly pretty. The dances are full contact. Parking is more than adequate.
Lows: The dreaded pasties. Very expensive dances. Fewer black/Latino ladies to choose from if that's your taste.
Verdict: Will I go back? It's tough to say. LeLa was hot and had an engaging, sweet and attractive personality. It's close to home. I suppose it's a decent place to get food and watch women writhe about. If you did a burger and one dance during the day shift (no cover), your damage is under $40.
The chief problem is that the dances are so expensive. E. G., if you sampled four girls, you'd be out $120. 00. I think there is more value to be had in the Melrose Park clubs, which aren't too far away, or even the ones in Rockford if you live in that direction. That being said, I may visit this club every so often to see what, if anything, changes.

Cruised this new found play land today afternoon during lunch. Nothing to be seen around National/31/Chicago area.

Earlier today and since my so is out of town I did the usually stroll by clock tower plaza since in recent weeks I saw a few SW's, nothing to be had there so I went up the hill on National and turned on 31 to go to jjpeppers but instead I took left on the next street right where the funeral home was, and there was LE in the parking lot so went straight and make another left towards walnut and headed to the liquor store that is right ahead I stop there for a minute to see if I see something since long time ago I picked a girl there, but that was a long shot didn't see nothing. I pulled in parking lot I went to buttera to buy a water and make time to see if LE is gone, I took national towards raymond the trooper was on wellington st. Still with the car that he pulled over, I turned right on raymond and wow 2 troopers and an unmarked red car were there with a suv that they pulled over, the red car had 3 po's.
I don't know what's going on un elgin but that was enough for me, and I just went home.
