So. If you keep up with the boards you will know there is a theory that if a good "find" becomes popular that it also becomes more expensive and worse service. I have seen this be true as well, but at the same time I often count on the experiences of others to make a choice. I am sure many of us keep certain gems to ourselves, but I do my best to contribute, but sometimes it is hard to want to.
This brings me to my current lucky find. I contacted a TGTBT craigslist post via email. Turned out real and fantastic. Visitor (from Fairbanks) that is gone now, but plans to return monthly. We will see if that actually happens.
I am intentionally not providing much information here (see above), but will respond to PMs from senior members. There is not a current post nor do I have pics.

Regarding my methods. I don't really have a great plan nor do I often have luck on CL. Once I started using text app I am a bit less hesitant to text someone or email them my number. I read the posts and see if they sound like real people or not. Search any images / numbers. The few I had luck with had no number posted. So I have a hobby email and send it off to see what comes back. Often what comes back is nothing at all. Sometimes an obvious scam. Once in a great while the email response again sounds like a real person. If so I email back with my texting number. If we get texting and they still sound real I take the dive. Hope that helps!
