Jenny was sick for a few days. Don't know if she is back or not yet. Sounded like she had the flu.
I have been told that there will be a new girl replacing Suki when she leaves. It will not be LuLu. LuLu has been around a long time. Maybe she is just taking a longer break. Don't know anything about new girl but she will be in late November.

Has anybody visited the Rainbows lately? Just wondering if they have gotten any new talent. My last experience there wasn't so hot.
Went to Yin's and got a mediocre massage from Amy. No regrets. FS on the flip. Looking for a new AMP, Yin's is hit or miss. I hear great things about Suki on here, could someone PM me with a location on M2 I'd appreciate it.

Magoo dropped in to visit the new Mings II girl today. She's a bit long in the tooth compared to Suki but was a fun time nonetheless. It has a nice looking entryway, lots of potted flowers and Christmas lights up. Was greeted by a plump but cute 30 something Asian woman named Amy, said she was from Hong Kong. Paid. 6 for an hour, requested a hard massage, was obliged. Received a very deep, hard session, which I'm obviously into. Wonderful massage, and I'm pretty sure it went over an hour, so I was suspicious it was a legit place. It was, nothing extra was offered. Left an obligatory tip, smiled and left. Not a regrettable experience, but had something more adventurous in mind.
Tl; dr: Good massage, nothing else.

Attractive, although probably a bit older than my initial observation. I would say she is mid thirties. Skilled and experienced. Well worth a visit. I think Jenny and her would make a good team. A few weeks back I had a dream of visiting the new girl at mings 2; I can't recall her name but she had recently arrived to replace Suki. The session was decent and I left satisfied but she definitely was not Suki caliber nor did she have the constitution of Miss Lulu. Massage was fair and the flip standard + finish was enough to leave me satisfied but I chose not to repeat the next day when I had some time to kill and was out in the prowl.
I decided to check out the rainbow for the first time instead and was not all that impressed. Had to come back a couple times after getting the "10 more minutes" routine but after finally getting in I was rewarded with a mediocre massage and a decent FS session. Was hounded for additional funds several times but drew a line in the sand at $ + house fee. Lady's name was Ce I think, she spoke ok English but was on level when it came to what I was looking for and performance wise.

I was in Homer for a few days. Surfing the web one night I came across a review of a massage studio in Kenai. Sounded quite good so I checked out the website. Sounded and looked even better so I made a phone call. Sounded even better, so I made an appointment for the next afternoon on my way back to Anchorage. I am very glad I did!
The studio is located in Kenai in a strip mall right behind the Wells Fargo Bank. Easy to find. Very well set up. The massage room is gorgeous, one of the most comfortable I've ever been in. The gal who owns and works the place is named Karen. Now, she is not a Barbie by any means and Penthouse is not hunting her down for a centerfold shot, but other than that, she is one of the very best I've ever met. A consummate professional. A beautiful smile with an attitude to match. She gives a full hour, putting in a full effort to make the customer feel like he is the most important customer on earth. I was very impressed. When I left I felt like I was floating on air. How good is she? Let me put it this way: It is 300 miles round trip to Kenai and back. She is worth the trip. I know I will be taking a nice drive down there some day when I'm off. I have a feeling the service is even better for regulars.
It is a long drive but I am so tired of Chinese. It is so refreshing to be able to communicate with the masseuse. Have a few laughs with an interesting gal. Yes! I was quite pleased! After being here nearly a year now, I am still looking to find a provider who reminds me of my past time spent in Asia. When I say this I am looking for that typical petite Asian woman, but I am also looking for someone on the less than half a hundred. So far I have found two that qualify. Visited June Spa last week and was greeted by middle aged nice lady named CeCe. Well rounded and reasonably proportioned but not what I would call an attractive body. The best way to describe her looks is rather plain, not attractive but not scary either. Massage was decent, thorough and unrushed. I would comment her hands are VERY soft. That feature was particularly appreciated on the flip where some pleasurable time was spent teasing and coaxing the HE. There is a new girl there so I wanted to try. Her name is Kacey (I know it is a new one for an asian and I asked her twice to be sure.). I say she is late 20s or almost 30. Cute face but she wore baggy clothes and a sour face. Not sure what the deal is. The reception is not friendly and the massage is average at best. Flip came at 35 minutes and she started twisting the knob like she is tuning a radio. I was not desperate so I asked for a massage only and walked out at 50 min.
I can see that Anchorage (both climate and business wise) can be depressing for a new girl but if a girl with decent looks like Kacey gives a good service with a smiling face she will have more than enough business. Went to Meiya massage the other day. And as others have reported on this forum, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I didn't catch the name of the provider but she was pretty long in the tooth and the massage wasn't all that great. They ask you to put on a pair of mesh undershorts (that they provide) so from the beginning I knew what it was going to be. If I want a straight up massage there are many other places in town that provide better.
Also has anyone had an experience with Lalita that advertised on CL today? Sounds like she is into the tantra stuff and if could be interesting, but the price of admission seems pretty high.

After reading some of the prior posts regarding the worth of the AMP's around town I decided to add my 2 pennies for what it's worth, which I usually don't do. I'm not here to argue, but maybe point out a different perspective.
I agree with all that has been said, nobody is worth $$$. With that being said, most of the top notch providers, like Naomi, Cali, Jules, Sloan and Alaira are all charging $$$-$$$$. Now most professions don't make this hourly rate and everytime I payout I'm thinking "what a dumb ____! We all know it's an expensive hobby that ranges from lowly SW to the elite just mentioned. Nobody is twisting arms forcing us to visit these AMP's or any other provider. We visit those who provide "the best service for the buck." After all this is a free market we live in. Anyone can charge and pay what they want. This doesn't mean they should be criticized for it. It merely means if you don't like the service, the price, the girl just don't visit them.
I'm glad we have the AMP's around because when the "elite" regulars are not in town I fall back on the providers at AMP because I always know what to expect. And I think Cece at RS is one of the Best! We pay for what we get, most of the time.

Went to see Connie at the AMP on Karluk, which I guess is called Chinese Massage aka Mings I. Connie is one of the best AMP workers to ever hit Anchorage. Top quality. If you've never seen her, drop in sometime. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Heard it from someone who should know that the June Spa will be moving to another location. Today will be the last day on 36th. Not sure what new address will be at this point but it will be opening approx May 10th with same name and phone number. Had some dreams this past winter / spring. Forgive me if I get names wrong but had memorable dreams about Gina at OT (TS, FS) and one in her late 30's pretty decent. Stopped over to the June Spa at its new location on Fireweed. Was wanting to see one of my favs, Jenny but she wasn't working. I guess she is the owner now and is cutting back on her working time. Anyway, the girl working is named CeCe. She has been there before, I think late last year. I went for an hour. Great massage with good all around service. The girl is worth a visit but next time I think I'll wait for jenny. The new place is nice with a good ambiance. They added bars on the ceiling for backwalking although I didn't get any. I just woke up from a dream and wanted to share it with you.

Been back in AK since 2010 but, still have not located a massage provider in valley area. I do venture to Anchorage on occasions but, it would be great if I was able to locate an independent provider here in valley. I have checked BP, here, and CL regularly have seen just a few random people claiming to be providers, but out all them only 2 seemed legit the first was disconnected number and the other wanted well over standard massage + tip pricing I believe I was quoted at around $350 per hour. She also hinted that the price may not include tipping which was an abrupt end to my interest. Anyone know if there are any independent Massage providers in valley? If so post or PM me. I had seen one review saying that Sarah was decent but when I called they said they also had a girl named Allie I decided to take a risk and it paid off big time. I can honestly say it was one of the best times I have had with any provider, if you don't count Charlie or Neomi. She is very petite standing about 5'2" and can't weigh more then 110 with a nice set of what I guessing were size C boltons. I was not 100% sure if she was uncomfortable or if she really liked it from all the noises she made but it looked close enough to enjoyment that I liked it. The message was not so great but on this trip that's not really what I was looking for so I was glad I opted for the hhat.60. The tip for FS was $.4 and for what you get with this one its fair.

ThanksWell, that brought back some memories for me. The first time I ever tried to get into an MP was in Massachusetts when I was 19. They asked me my age and I told them. Wouldn't let me in. I went back a few months later and nobody asked my age so I was off to the races.
My guess is that you probably look young. My guess is also that if you make enough attempts sooner or later you will get in.

TrenamanNo, things are pretty strict on the Kenai. It was a shame about Karen as I thought she was pretty cool. A bit out there for sure but good quality. I checked Rubmaps again and the last review was on July 9, 2013. Since I'm going down there anyway I may just drive by the address given and see if anything is up. Sounds like "Rose" is pretty good.

So, I finally visited an AMP. First time and Sarah at OT was my guide. All I can say is "what the f. Have I been thinking all this time, wasting money on the crap shoot going on in BP where the odds are stacked in the house's favor and not spending more time in the AMPs! So, I started of the day catching up on some of the recent reports hoping to find some useful information to assist me in where to go today. I decided not to do the AMP thing and give ole backpage another shot. Well, It didn't go so well! I just don't understand why these girls advertise on BP and other sites if they truly don't want to do the work. Refer to BP thread as that's the correct spot.
After I was stood up I went to OT and dreamt of Ally. She is at the top of my all time favorite list. She's probably mid 40's but OMG what a body! Basically anything you can dream of goes. If you call ahead of time she'll have the hot tub on for ya. Defiinitely recommend.
