Picked up a copy of the Anchorage Press. Toward the back I saw an ad for "Massage for Tourists". It listed a familiar phone #, for Mings. Also listed the new address posted here in the forum recently. Said they were giving discounts for seniors, couples, and military. My! Is this their new target customer base? I get a laugh thinking about Jenny giving a massage to some 72 year old female from Florida wondering how she is gonna make a tip!

I saw a post on CL last Thursday that had a ring of familiarity to it. I called the number, and lo and behold, Connie answered the phone. She said that they were in a new location, so I set up an appointment for 11:00.
The location is in downtown Anchorage, near the corner of 4th Ave. And see St. It's inside that blue-colored tourist mall, across the street from the Army-Navy Store. I wasn't feeling too comfortable when I saw the "333" address on the building, and the feeling didn't get any better when I went inside. There were people milling everywhere in the shops inside the building. The room Connie told me she was in is at the back of the building.
I approached the room and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was a room, just a big room. There was a blue curtain across the doorway to the room. There is also a long window in the room. A painted sign on it said "Tourist Massages". Connie appeared from behind the curtain, leading two older ladies out. She greeted me and led me inside.
The room she is in was divided by another blue curtain. The front half of the room is set up as a waiting area. I could see a massage table, stand, and other equipment and supplies in the back half of the room. Connie took me to the back half of the room and pulled the curtain shut. It moved back and forth from the breeze in the hallway to where I could actually see and hear the people moving around out there. The lights in the room were glaringly bright. My comfort level dropped even more.
Connie ask me how long I wanted. I was going to go for my customary hour. I turned to look at the window and noticed that it only had one of those kitchen curtains on it. The kind that only covers the bottom half of the window, allowing sunlight to come through the top half of the window. I stepped over to the window and noted that I was tall enough to see over the curtain and out into the hallway. It was then that I surmised that someone who was as tall as I could walk up to the window from the outside and observe the activities in the massage room.
I asked Connie if she was going to be going back to their old location. From what I gathered from her answer, she is going to be there for quite some time. She said they are doing tourist massages now. I looked around the room again, then told Connie that I wasn't comfortable with the setup and would have to pass. As much as I like Connie, and have enjoyed her company in the past, I just don't thing I've got the stones for that kind of activity in that location. I told her that I would consider trying it out another time and left.
I am hoping beyond hope that this is just a temporary situation for Ming's. IMHO, it would have better served to move Connie and SaSa to the Ming's II location rather than open the spot they have now.

Saw an ad in the Press in the massage section for a new service called "I Love Massage". The gal is named Peggy. She has been around since the 80's but retired a few years ago. I guess she is back. She must be around 50. She is attractive. Very professional, very experienced. If you've never seen her give her a shot.

I decided to try the Tropic since Mings is kind of out for now, saw Coco gives a real nice TS, however the massage is very lacking. Her upsell just isn't my cup of tea. They seemed quite busy, the hour I paid for turned into about 40 minutes which was ok as the massage wasn't very good. I probably won't go back

As promised, I went to TOFTT at Wellness Massage (on 9th Ave) last week. Just a little late in posting.
The "new girl" turned out to be Nancy, the owner. I encountered her last year when she was filling in for Shelly at her place on Dimond. I didn't recognize her at first, but as I was talking to her I realized who she was. I asked her name just to be sure.
Nancy's massage is all rub, no flip. And not a very good rub at that. Shelly used to tell me that Nancy was not very good at massage, and hated filling in for the girls. I inquired after Vivian (who normally worked Wellness) and Shelly. Nancy said they were both gone. She closed down her Dimond spot and took over the operation on 9th Ave.
Realizing that there was no other provider available, I politely excused myself and left. One time with Nancy was enough. Of course, if anyone out there has had a better experience with her, I'd like to hear about it.

When I walked in I was greeted by one lady who came from the back and told me it would be about 10 minutes. She went back into one of the rooms, and another lady came out and led me to another room. I opted for 1 hour, forked over my green for the house, and got prepared.
The lady who led me to the room came back and started the massage. As I was talking to her, I learned that she was not an employee there. She was friends with the other lady and was just there to help her out. A little bit later the other lady came into the room, and for about 15 minutes I was getting massaged by the two of them (Oh Happy Me!). Then the first lady excused herself and left the room, leaving the one I first met to finish the massage.
The massage was quite good. It really got down to the kinks and knots. Then she had me turn over, and she strategically placed a hand towel over "Prince William" and continued the massage. She gave my chest and stomach and good, long rub. Then. All finished. No happy ending or hint of extras. I gave her a $20 tip (the massage was good after all), but she asked me for another $10 for the other lady. I simply pressed the bill into her hand, kindly thanked her, and walked out.
Another AMP gone straight. The Benson AMP is owned by the same folks who run the one near the corner of Fireweed and Spenard. That one has always been straight. I fear the straightness has spilled over to the other location. I hope this isn't going to become a trend in Anchorage. By my count, that's four AMPs that have gone straight...or just gone.

For me, a lazy massage is usually a dead ringer for a Korean provider. There are exceptions of course......like Cici at Mings I (ex ming's I guess)

I can confirm what others have reported. Don't waste your time on Minnesota and Tudor location, unless you have really low standards regarding looks and service.
Jenny say she be here another week or stay longer. If she stay it another place. Maybe open new massagee store. Always call downtown number to check.

Went to see Megan who advertises on NNL and has received good reviews from some here. She practices Tantra and Tantra massage. I am into Eastern philosophies so I thought I would give her a try especially with the good recommendations. She pushed my appointment back an hour an hour before it was scheduled. No big deal. But when I get there she is still with a customer, leaving me waiting. It wasn't too long but it did put me off a bit as I think a true professional would avoid doing that. She leads the customer out walking him right past me which I again think is very unprofessional. She then pulls up a chair and sits across from me. She starts talking. And talking. And talking. And talking. I begin to wonder if she will ever shutup. It is one of the most boring discourses I have ever heard in my life. She jumps from one boring subject to another boring subject. After 15 minutes I am definitely losing interest. At 30 minutes I start getting a headache and stiff neck. At 40 minutes I get up and tell her I have to go. It seemed like she was maybe about to get around to the business of the massage but I had had enough. If she ever had talked like that during the massage I think I would have screamed! Unbelievably she starts telling me how she offers "lingam manipulation". My god! I couldn't wait to get out the door. I would rather sit in a dentist's chair being drilled for 40 minutes rather than go through that again. My head was literally throbbing by the time I got out of there. The only redeeming fact is that it didn't cost me anything. Whew!
I left and headed straight for Mings II. Saw LuLu. What a relief! After feeling so stressed her massage provided a welcome relief. LuLu is definitely not a great conversationalist but she knows how to induce euphoria with her lips.
I guess LuLu and Jenny are splitting time at Mings II. Apparently Jenny didn't fly away yet. I hope there is enough business to keep them both going.

I am sorry that your experience with Megan was so unsatisfying. I have been seeing her for nearly 3 years and I happily report that every single meeting with her has been exceptional. But let me quickly say that I am in no way challenging your review. It goes without saying that you are deservedly a respected opinion on this board and I value your insights.
I will say that Megan required a (no-cost) interview before my first session. We met for a drink and had much the same conversation you had with her. However, because I understood that this interview was important to her (for security, safety, ground rules, etc) I was totally cool with it. I am also very much into tantric massage and have placed myself in the hands of numerous New Age therapists and healers over the years. Hence I am receptive and supportive of Megan's insights and approach.
I will also reiterate that once Megan gets started, her touch is magical beyond words. She is simply one of the best and I always look forward to my all-to-infrequent return visits.
Your cautionary tale should remind us that providers and hobbyists are all human. We all have our personalities, preferences and idiosyncrasies. I also think it's hardly an understatement to say that we live in troubled times and providers need to be extra-cautious in meeting new 'friends'. Perhaps Megan was just a bit too apprehensive for your taste.
Again I am sorry that things didn't work out. However, if you didn't burn the bridge behind you, she is absolutely worth a session. Regardless, play safe!

I've seen Megan 3 or 4 times, and while I am not as enthusiastic about her as Hereforthefun, she does provide an interesting and different experience. But definitely not for everyone, and she is a long way from being a typical FBSM or escort experience. I have tried to get her to give me more than just the sensuous Tantra / prostate massage but so far she won't.
I agree that she can talk too much, and come across as a little strange. I also agree that her choice of location is a bit dicey. Not private or discreet enough.

The massage was not mind-blowing, but was strong and got the job done, and the gal was nice, to the point of being cute even, on the flip. When asked for her name she said something that sounded like "e-wa", but to be honest who knows what she said? This guy didn't, and by then it didn't really matter too much.
Last report about this place intrigued me. I have not been there since the remodel. I used to go there when it was Chinese but it is Korean fare now. Lucky is in her 30s, cute face, friendly, good english, fit tight body, great tits, nice TS with attention to detail, 8 massage and very service oriented. Highly recommend. $80 for 1 hr is not cheap but worth it because of TS and sauna.

Went to Muldoon Massage down at the far end of Muldoon near the highway. Hadn't been there in a few years. Visited both places last week. Muldoon was just a rub and tug, walls in the room didn't go to the ceiling, no TS. But the tug was good, and as I had been traveling arround the state for a week or so with out any relief the finish was explosive and messy- but she didn; t pull back, even as she, the bed and I got wet.

You'are right Cobalt. I did get lucky. I had called earlier in the say to see if Lulu or Jenny were working and was told it was Sophia, which I hoped was the same one from Ming's and it was.
Almost had the old switcharoo on me though. When I got there for my appointment with Sophia, Lulu (with her limited English) seemed ready to play at being Sophia. I hadn't seen Lulu in a while but I knew she wasn't Sophia. (As a side note, I did end up getting extras after she said I was taking too long, hehehe. Had to do it with her lousy attitude. Yes, it was Osaka.). During the first part of the massage, when the masseuse gets around to massaging your inner thighs or your arse, I always like to spread my legs wider so as to put the least amount of obstacle in her way of getting around to touching my genitials. Often this will do the trick. If not, then when the masseuse is in a convenient position, I will move play along by placing one of my hands on her inner thighs or on her arse. For instance, if you know that in your market some misguided blokes pay $200 + house fee for full service, than that is what you should pay or negotiate for. Don't try to screw the girl by giving $50 for what is worth $100 or by negotiation for $50. Just give her what she is due and don't embarrass either of yourselves.

Haven't posted in a long while, still out there playing this little game of ours.
I've hit up Tropic a couple times, wanted to echo what "AK Pooner" said about Rachel. Well it has been a while since I visited Mings 1 and am glad I made the visit a few weeks back.
I saw melissa there on three different occasions and she was great each time. Provides a decent massage and the turn is always good.
I went back last wek but Melissa is gone and I saw Juju. Decent massage and flip but I will wait for melissa to return. While I am getting a little tired of Chinese, I have all but lost hopes to meet a decent provider in this town anymore. What a shame.

Opportunity presented itself last night, so I took a little journey to V. I. P on Benson last night to relieve some stress. I was expecting to see Lisa, but there's a new lady working there. Goes by Amy. Late thirty-something. 5' 7", very thin frame. Face about 4. Very friendly, but speaks very little English.
Went for the 1/2 hour for. 4. A pretty decent massage, and the back-walking was good too. It really loosened me up. Then came the flip and a vigorous standard finish. She gave me a good wipe down with hot towels at the end. 4 for the tip for a total of. 8.

Only lady working was late 40's, short and doughy, Chinese, not horrible looking. All smiles and nervous. Didn't appear to be anybody else in the place. Zero English beyond the required pleasantries and prices. 60 up front for an hour. Fine. Stand up shower. Back massage was awful: clumsy and untrained. A good sign, since I wasn't there for legit. Had to tell her to use oil. Really. Flip, and all universal signals were ignored. She poor-acted surprise when the subject changed to what I was there for. Oh, shit, we're going to play this game. Got the "No, no. We no do here" bullcrap, complete with fake nervous laughter. She probably thought I was a cop. Happens often in AMPs because I'm big / athletic, have short hair, and frankly, I have that cop-look (it's come in handy before). Anyway, there was no convincing her it was cool, and she even gave me that "you can finish yourself off" stuff, so I ended things, took another shower and was walking out after being there about 40 minutes. She had the stones to hold her hand out for a tip. She got none. That did not go over well. She was still glaring at me from the door as I drove away. Hope I didn't ruin this one's mood for you regulars up there. This place is clearly an extras-available joint, but evidently not for first-timers.

Up in Fairbanks for a few weeks. Absolutely no possibilities up here. There are just a few walkers and they are gruesome. I don't participate in that. No parlors at all. We are lucky in Anchorage. Anyone know if Casey is back at Jenny's place? I would love to see her when I get back.

Paid a visit to Ming's 1 this past Sunday. When I first called to see who was there Connie told me Casey and a new girl named Nikki. Upon arriving Casey was busy so I went with door # 2. Nikki from Las Vegas. A lame massage followed that was bad enough to be a relief when it was over with. Nikki has a nice body with large eraser nips. However, limited touching down below and a vibe that made me think Oh Well next time it won't be you Nikki.
One interesting note while I was getting my massage the customer that Casey was with finished but did not have anything for the tip. I overheard Connie and him discussing the situation. He indicated he was going to return with more money but I would bet that didn't happen.

I got to tell you that while I like a variety of spice in life, I always have a got to tell you, Lulu never dissappoints and always gives me great service. Paid her a visit yesterday and it was great. She always rubs me the way I ask and like!
Visited M1 a few weeks ago and it was not a good experience. I got a lame massage and ok flip but she wanted. 6 for a tug when it was over. I said no. 4 is what I tip and she got pissy so I gve another 10 and said good bye. I did not rememeber her name but she provided the lamest massage I had ever gotten and was skinny as a rail. No way would I see here again.
What is heppening w M1? They were a favorite of mine but my last couple visits have been less than stellar. I remember Tina from M1 a few years ago and she was great. Would love to visit tropic sometime but never get a good vibe about the place or its location.

Hey. Long time lurker, first time poster.
I read most of the forum, and found my way to M1 / M2, June and Tropic before it got busted. That woke me up for sure. I liked the service there, but there was just something lacking, even from the old standbys you guys talk about like Lulu and Jenny. Don't get me wrong, they were great, but not amazing.
I checked out Backpage and saw a few ads, but there were no recent reviews here on the boards. Of these, which would be best: the place on Muldoon, the two non-tropic spots on Tudor, or the place on Intl Airport?
The Tropic bust made me blink since I had just been there. Have any of you been inside when LE comes charging in?

Last week or so at Osaka I heard some hear-say regarding the latest bust at Tropic. The little birdie said that envy on the part of the "manager" had driven Rachel (aka Starr) away and that Starr was not happy about it. Birdie heard that she made a phone call to turn Tropic into LE and then she went to Oriental to go back to work, the "manager" took one look at her "application" and told her no. Evidently Starr is a little long in the tooth, over 60, no wonder the lights are always so dim, I would have never guessed that she was that old. Anyway the little birdie is not saying where the falling Starr has landed. Just FYI.

Now I see that the ads on BP are going after your business by mentioning hot, asian girls. This is something I have not seen from them before. Yes they are two different locations. MII is in midtown area. I used to love MI before they moved but since then I have had a couple less then satisfactory experiences so I am a little gun shy when I thnk of visiting there lately but it all depends on who is there.

I would imagine that an establishment like that in Soldatna would have trouble staying under the radar. But with the economy the way it is, people should be encouraged to make money any way they choose in my humble opinion. I would like to see all of the unemployed or underemployed women investigate providing sexual services as a way to improve their financial situation. Of course I mean only the attractive, young ones. The ones with the proper attitudes and aptitudes for this type of work. What do you guys think?
