There's no pretense anymore and everyone knows why you and the girls are there so it's just a matter of finding one you like. It seems to me that if you bought 60 mins for the good show -- that's 200.00 -- right around the fees for lowered priced escorts and if the quality is as good as you say and there is no rushed service (since you shelled out for the hour), it might be a pretty reasonable deal. I was piss ass drunk and kind of nervous. I was only 18 and really had never taken part in this hobby before, but I didn't want to go home yet and they were still open after the Joker kicked us out at last call.
I had no idea what went on there and went in expecting a private dance show or something. If I remember right, I chose Cassie from the lineup and she took me to a room where she sort of explained the three level tip structure. Somewhere between drunk and new I didn't get the hint and offered an amount between level 1 and 2.
She did a body rub which was actually half way decent and then flipped me over, stripped naked and gave me a handshake.

Dear friend - I think you might have overpaid. The $250.00/hour "special" has been present for some time. If you enjoyed your 30 mins, it probably doesn't matter what you spent in the grand scheme of things but should you return, you can probably get more bang for your buck(s).

I was at Silk on Tuesday and they had 4 ladies. The line up had Sunny, Heather, Ariel and Maleeya. I went for restroom after seeing the ladies and Maleeya was gone with other gentleman by the time I got back, big mistake on my part. No way any one can choose sunny, she is not at all attractive. Finally managed to get a visit into this fine establishment. Selected Cat from the line up. Let's just say gentlemen that my poor experience should be a lesson for you. Unenthusiastic puts it mildly. Mike, Kat is that way usually when it is the first time you do a show with her. Honestly, second and third times do not really change that much in the personality department. However, after the first time she does open up her menu a little more. She did let me dine at the "why" before although it did involve plastic wrap which I did not care for. Kat is also gay which might add a little to her standoffish attitude, but don't really know. That is just the way she is.
Now for the good news. The best there for me has always been Marrisa. Marrisa is very open minded both sexually and financially. Ayana and Emma are also both good choices. Krystal is just ok but if you get the hour she will ask for extra for a second pop. The better girls there will include the extra pop in the original $250. I used to go there a good bit when I didn't know any better and had some decent experiences there. I've also had some of my worst experiences there (not THE worst but close). Arguably the worst experience I had there was with a girl who was very concerned about cleanliness. She put the cover on me and practically started yelling at me when she thought I used my hand to guide Jr in. She was thick and then less so (I remember thinking she may have picked up a drug habit at some point because she lost a large amount of weight in a matter of months). She was remarkably accommodating. I went in once and she was there and during our "negotiation" she told me her prices and I was bummed because they had gone up since my last visit and I only brought what I thought was enough (casino rule). She agreed to do a full show for what I had with me and we had a great time.
The rest of my visits have been somewhere in between and are routinely hit or miss.
The thing with silk is that you are paying for convenience. You know that there will be options when you get there. No worries about getting scammed or robbed. You get to see the girl and then make the decision. I think the price reflects taking out some of the risk you get with BP girls, but allows for more service than the AMPs.

What I'm talking about is multiple consecutive years of less than stellar experience coupled with finding better service elsewhere.
For example:
-The stated hours say they're open until 1 AM and they're closed at 11:30 PM.
-The "lineup" is one girl I have no interest in doing anything with.
-The service is subpar, uninspired or, in one case, antagonistic.
The problem is they seem to think they're the only game in town and they aren't. Feel free to do what you want, where you want and spend your money how you want. I've found better.

I do believe if it continues the way my last visit went I would not be returning. But I'll give them another try our two. But even I know when to give up a lost cause. I hate to throw good money after bad.
Honestly what we experience here is no different than the hobby overall. We go out expecting and hoping we have a great experience. When we don't we cool on it, and then knowing that there are likely different ladies working here, we return again in hopes of having that great experience again.
I must say that my experiences at Silk have been more on the good side than the bad, but I must say this with some context. I was an avid (like John) customer back in the day when they were on meeting street. I too would venture a couple of times a day some times. Since the move, the consistency has not been what it was. I've been fortunate in that regard in that though my visit frequency has dropped significantly, the times I have ventured there have been decent. I will also say this though, in the past few years, I have found myself trying to open a locked door when I was there within the posted hours. I have also been there several times and been disappointed with the quality of the ladies there. I have no problem turning around and leaving if I don't see anybody that interests me.
This takes me back to what Amber could do to improve things.
1) Expand the hours and actually be open for all posted hours. In the past if the place closed at 1 AM, they did not turn you away at 12:30. This is just good business.
2) Post some pictures of the girls either on a website or on backpage. Nothing like some good marketing would ensure that you have a steady flow of customers during those expanded hours.
3) Heck offer up some sort of special every once in a while. This provides customers with a chance to see your place and evaluate your ladies without the typical cost. If the quality is there, they will come back at the regular rates.
4) This one is a serious, but could be considered a joke. How about a frequent customer card. Granted few would take it because we want no trace of our hobby, but for those that patronize your establishment on a frequent basis, perhaps a discount on the house fee after your 10th visit. Just an idea. You never know. Again think guerrilla marketing!!
As for me. I will likely visit again in the next few months if the mood strikes me, but if the girls aren't up to par, I'm off to an AMP or a BP provider with reviews and pictures. That's the market that you face.

1) They don't have to expand the hours much Maybe do 6-10 or 8-12 M-T and 6 P-2 A on Friday and Saturday to better accommodate the schedules of the average monger. The trick is actually being open those days and times.
2) Pictures of the girls would be a good idea. They can blur out faces, tattoos and or other identifying marks but let's be real here, no one wants to make the trip for a crap shoot.
3) I don't know about the special thing. I have never even thought about going for a BP discount ($40 all night long!) so I can't imagine doing it there. Then again, if service improved, it wouldn't be necessary.
4) The frequent flyer card isn't a bad idea but it would need to be disguised extremely well.
I would add that the first few times I went in, I got massages, dances etc. Before "the business. " That kind of went away after a while and the formula changed. It became: pick a girl, go to room, pay girl, she leaves, comes back in, locks door, takes off clothes and says "ok how do you want to do this?" There's NOTHING sexy about it at all.
If we're being honest, this place is NOT the place to go for a GFE but what I just described, even if you get FS, is barely more than jerking off with help. As soon as you're done, you're out. It doesn't matter if you paid for 30 minutes and only ten has passed (we don't go in there when we're getting laid a lot elsewhere).
I was in last week looking to enjoy some time with my usual but in the line up Kat just stood out. She was wearing stockings and a dress shirt, her ivory skin was just glowing so I had to. The show was great, yes I said great. Kat has had the reputation in the past of being kinda stand-offish but I think she has seen the light. Kat was attentive and caring and I believe she enjoyed her self and as long as I believe it then it is okay with me. Kat is 21 with long black hair and a thin firm body. If you have seen her before I would recommend a repeat. First timers I am just not sure on that.

Very hot on the outside but not so much on the inside. Hopegully she had seen the light. I'd love a repeat with her with a better attitude but still will mousy likely poor her on a back burner until I hear more good things myself.

I remembered seeing an article from around this time last year about one of the owners of this business being charged with a bunch of crimes relating to criminal domestic violence and weapons possession, and I remember it bothering me that the article had printed his address as Business Circle (where Silk is located, strictly commercial area). It seemed like something of a disguised attempt at calling out what line of business he was in. This situation really turned me off from visiting Silk again until very recently. (PM for details on the article, I don't think the mods will let me post it here.).
When I walked in there last Saturday night I immediately knew I made a terrible mistake. There were three or four girls there, but my concern was the alternately screaming / crying guy behind the bar (the owner from the article). This man was clearly beyond drunk and from what I could gather from him and a couple of the girls (as they basically ignored me to attend to the guy's screams) this guy was dating one of the girls working there (blonde, thin woman) who he seemed to be extremely angry with and two other girls were trying to keep the blonde, thin woman from going behind the bar. Their efforts seemed to wane a bit once they realized a customer was watching this craziness, but I was already on my way out the door. On my way out, a different girl ran over to me and apologized for the situation and indicated that the owner was having a hard time because they were closing after that night and he was going to jail. It was difficult to understand everything she said, as she had a very heavy Spanish accent (not to mention it was difficult to hear over the music and wails of the owner.) She asked if I wanted to go to a room to discuss a session, but I declined. At that point I was almost out the door before the owner seemed to realize a customer was walking out. He began yelling at me to get my attention, but when I ignored him he decided to scream "Fine, F* you, asshole. This was the last chance you were going to get here!" I went to my car pretty rattled and confused as to what I had just encountered. I left quickly, but that article regarding this guy's violent crimes left me worried about the safety of the girls.
It would be shocking to me if this place doesn't close down, as this was the atmosphere of a business that was about to violently implode. I haven't seen them advertise on BP all week, so maybe they have closed. And maybe that is for the best. What I saw will have me forever looking differently at any owner of a place like this. This man was clearly being abusive to his employees. When I used to come in Amber was almost always working and I only ever saw the guy a few times. Shame on Amber for allowing her girls to be subjected to such a maniac.This isn't my story to tell but after working there for years I feel inclined to defend Amber. The article and charges referred to were against Amber. I've stayed friends with girls there and know Amber left for her own safety. She loved Silk Stockings and the clients of the club. She would not have voluntarily left them. She was ran out. The guy mentioned was her husband and he is in jail now. I'm not sure what will happen now. Heard the place maybe sold and ran as the same kind of business by a new owner but I can't say for sure. Please give the place another try and don't give Amber such a hard time. She was or is a victim and has lost much already. She was such a big part of the place I was sorry to hear about all that happened. I know a lot of people have mad love and respect for her.

And swing and a miss. I've got to say for $320 an hour she could at least act like she enjoyed spending time with me. With all the fussing and complaining I felt like I was at home. It's sad when you can't even touch a titty without a frown. Her verbal skills were quite lacking also with the occasional "Oh baby" or "Ah baby" very monotone. She could have been reading off a card for all I know. At least try to fake it. Customer satisfaction was not high on the list for sure. I would think with business being slow that an effort to make me want to come back would have been there but nope. While the end result was satisfactory the journey to get there was a bust. I do realize that it's important to build a rapport with the ladies but she needs to make some effort also especially at that hourly rate. That makes two strikes for me. I will most likely go again one more time as it takes me a while to learn my lesson however once learned it's not forgotten.
