Gonna be down there, anyone know anything about the strip clubs there?I think there is still one on the far west side of town, leaving via Rt6. I forget the name of it. I went there once about 10 years ago for a bachelor party and don't remember a lot of details, only that it was a bit on the dumpy side.
I also recall the place made the news a few years back since a bonty hunter came in and tried to drag a stripper off stage who had skipped bail in another state. Other patrons stopped the guy. Illinois does not allow bounty hunting so he wound up getting arrested for attemped kidnapping.

Ottawa has 2 clubs. Silver Slipper is right off the highway. It is a more "upscale" place. Good selection of hot girls. A little something for everyone. Most of the girls do totally nude dances for $20. Some even grind, nude. That surprised me. Dances take place upstairs in full view of a security bouncer.
On the same road, maybe 8-10 minutes away is Lamp Lighter. Hole-in-the-wall, been there forever small bar. All nude. Topless dances only. $20.00, & they do a pretty good job. I've personally had better times at LL than SS. I've been to both places several times over the years. The only thing I don't like about LL is, being a tiny place, your dances take place right in everyone's view. There's nothing worse than having some drunk old man staring at you, while a stripper's rubbing your junk.

SlapsterIt's pretty much the same as before. The difference is that they've taken out the tables and replaced them with La-Z-Boys (at least in the room I was in). I've only been twice, and both times in the downtown location with the Jacuzzi, but it's basically the same as before. The girls have told me that only about half of the girls with pictures on that site are still there, and there are several others who don't have pics up.

Prices are a little high for what most are used to. I haven't been in about a year, but I believe prices are about $60 to $80 door fee. Model expects a tip somewhere around the same. Generally attractive enough. A helping hand is pretty much a sure thing and usually that's it, although YMMV depending on the day. I like the place because I don't care for AMPs but the prices keep my visits down.

They used to be called "the Spa" there are reports about it in the IL other areas general reports going back a few years. They do not as far as I am aware offer any extras. It is real close to me and I have just never gone there. Uncle LEO in LaSalle county goes after places thatextras are offered and closes them down very quickly including girls who sereviced truckers at the truck stops in L-P. So I do not think this place would stay around if they did indeed offer anything extra.

Went to the Silver Slipper Saloon last Thursday. Friendly atmosphere, the girls are not pushy. Drinks are priced at what they would normally be. I do not recommend the VIP dance ($175) while things are hinted, nothing happens but being left with blue balls. So I was out in the area and decided to stop in the LL. I hadn't been there in about 4 to 5 years. It's like stepping back in time to the 70's (that's part of the charm). This is a small, hometown type place. The drinks are cheap & the bartender is friendly. I got there around 5:30/6 & it was a weekday. There was no cover (I don't know if there's one later in the evening). The dancers were all cute "girl next door" types. They take turns on stage & for a few dollars tip you'll get a close up view. After each girl is done dancing she'll come around for tips. A couple bucks gets you a handful of c / d cups (maybe a face full). This place is relaxed & the girls aren't pushy. Lap dances are done in the open so don't expect major high mileage. Overall, a fun place with cute friendly girls that don't try to drain your wallet. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
