You can look up various pictures on the net of symptomatic STD's(Herpes, Gonorrhea, etc.), however even if you are an OBGYN, there are so many diseases out there that may be non-symptomatic including the really scary ones such as HIV, Herpes, etc. Besides, just because there are no scars, sores, growths, it doesn't mean that you or her are non-contagious.

I think it depends on what you mean by "service" and where.
Kapalua would agree, some of the skanks downtown would offer more BB service than others because of their habits, addictions, needs, etc.
In AMPs, I have found that the older providers give way more BB service than the youngins, simply because they know they wont make as much good money as the young hotties if they don't offer more bang for the buck.

No need to put a $ in front of .2 or it comes off as one hundred and twenty.
And, no need to put both $ or 1 in front of a decimal number, only one is used.

Just to let you know. I've have friends that have and are working in the AMP business here and some of them keep on working even while their "friend" is visiting. This is quite true. IF the girl is infected, and IF you do her BB multiple times, your risk is substantially increased. No argument there. However, if you look at the HIV statistics from the CDC and the State of Health and run through the numbers (exclude all the cases from gay/bi male sex, exclude cases of IV drug use, exclude ages outside the range of the typical AMP provider, exclude all races other than Asian, etc.) you'll see that the potential number of infected AMP girls is pretty low. Your chances of encountering an HIV-infected AMP worker are pretty slim. As I said in my previous post, it's important to look at the numbers behind the numbers. Century Center is the tall mirrored building diagonally across from the convention center.

You can go to Life Foundation at the old Gold Bond Building on Ala Moana Blvd. They do free HIV testing and you get the results within 20 minutes. It is an oral swab (feels like you're sticking a pregnancy test in your mouth) that can detect HIV within 20 days of contracting it. So you need to wait another 19 days and get tested. Instant results and it's free! Can't get better than that. The nice thing is they give you all the condoms and lube you want after the test is done. And you can go back as often as you like.

Excluding marijuana, the most widely used drug here is crystal meth, which is smoked. I believe crack is in second place, followed by powder cocaine. (My stats might be slightly out of date, so if anyone has more recent info, please jump in.) We do have some heroin use in Honolulu, but it's nowhere near as prevalent as it is in other cities in the country. I wouldn't say there's NO reason to be worried, but much less reason than if you were mongering in an inner city area on the mainland. In short, this is another example of "lucky we live Hawaii!"

SA has none, SLAA has none, SAA has meetings in Kaunakakai, Molokai and Kihei, Maui. Interesting, both are coed. Cannot imagine going to a coed sex addiction meeting and seeing chicks talk about their experiences. Honestly, that environment is more inducive to hooking up and promoting the problem we are trying to stop.
I was in contact with the SA organizers on the mainland, and they asked if I would be interested in starting a SA meeting. If I could get some of the forum members to go, I would seriousy commit to starting a group. Electronic and phone meetings cannot compare to face to face meeting.

Not meaning to scare, but ask any doctor and they will tell you that it can take up to 6 months after contact to show up positive for HIV. Based on your previous post, it looks like you had contact in mid-November. Good luck to you. Stay safe.

Asked a doc friend and fyi, hiv infected usually 1) gay 2) drug using 3) black 4) male 5) skinny

On the other hand, highest documented risk for female to male transmission is 1/30. Lab tests have documented only. 1% chance even if you stick yourself with hiv infected needle.
Apparently hiv is tough virus to spread, but because people expose same people over and over, they get an increased risk.
He said if I don't get sick in next week chances are really low, but I won't know for sure until about 6mo from now.

The person at Life Foundation says that their test will show positive for HIV infected persons between 20 days and 3 months of contraction. This is for the oral test. And it's free. And you get results in 20 minutes. And it's free. Did I mention that it's free?
