I have been out of town, on a road trip and unable to keep up with my correspondence. Prior to my trip, YoshiRed was kind enough to private message me a heads-up regarding the information in a post that he would be placing in the public forums of both Philadelphia and New Jersey. In this PM to me, it was kind of implied that the recommendations which I had made, involving Phoenix's behavior and personality, were largely considered in his decision to set-up a date. I got the impression that he sees me as partly to blame.
YoshiRed has every right to be pissed about what happened. Yes! He has every right to be pissed. But! He should not be pissed at me. Nor should he be upset about my endorsement. $300 dollars is a lot to lose for anyone of modest income. To that end, I would like to offer this information given by 'OL Gator, in response to another mongers loss of money.
To further free myself of any guilt regarding YoshiRed's loss, I would like to offer these three testimonials, given by others.
I'm assuming Den86 met, "not on her phone at all. ".
Personally, I'd take this one with a grain of salt. Few mongers are going to give a $40 tip on top of a $200 fee..I have 2 providers in our area. Both respond to the cell phone 90% of the time. All are reasonable priced and do no not connive. Convenience. They are probably working mothers and need a little bit of cash and lay low.
I would go so far as to say all the SW's are addicts, as in 100% so my rebuttal is to your use of the word, "most".
My goal is to find the relatively new arrival of the addict to K Avenue. As many will attest, the streets can age a provider in just a matter of months. So if you can hit one when they are relatively new to the street, its almost like playing lotto. The odds are very much against you but its hitting a winner (even at the lowest modest levels) that provides enormous satisfaction and keeps you coming back thinking the next one will be the big payoff. In reality, the big payoff is an unattainable myth but nobody hobbies thinking it is not totally out of reach.100% agree.

CookyJar and I have been personal friends much longer than I can remember. In the many years we have been friends I'll say this. He has never to my knowledge taken advantage of anybody for any amount of money. He has given away more money than most of us have lost in this game. He has no need to set anybody up for any girl. He's simply not that type of person.
I'm sorry the other monger lost money because he met a girl CookyJar spoke highly of. It's a shame. I will say this that Cookyjar had nothing to do with his nor anybody's loss.
When any of us post here, lets understand, we speak of our own experience. He always point's out YMMV. We, as well as those that lose money, can't predict how things will go. If we find ourselves in a situation that may require giving front money, walk away. It's not worth the risk. If we feel we can't or don't want to walk away then put up 25% - 50%. Tell them they get the balance when the task is finished. Never give a girl money you can't afford to lose or spend.
I have publicly spoke out against the practice of giving front money over and over. I've been cursed, threatened, yelled at because all I'm trying to do is keep people from this exact situation.
When you arrange to see a girl your money is in your pocket. Right along side of the control. Hand her the money and you hand her control. If that makes you comfortable then by all means do it. I knew she posted on online. Personally, I never hunt the web, but I have considered the option. There are a number of liabilities
dangers with looking for and dating Streetwalkings. There is the inherit dangers of the street, the threat of Law Enforcement and the difficulty of finding someone good. And, if all goes well, you've still got to come up with a suitable location. The $300, charge while steep IMHO, maybe a good tradeoff for some mongers. Considering the cost of a hotel room (assuming the internet provider is covering the room expense) and considering the fact that in most cases, an hour date in a nice room beats a quickie BJ in the backseat, I can understand why some mongers may opt for internet dating. We don't know the man and we don't known his circumstances. He is, after-all a fellow hobbyist. Don't forget that there are others, non-hobbyist, who look down on us as johns and call us names and think our monies wasted on sex workers. His was an honest mistake, all be it a costly one.
I don't know YoshiRed, personally. I don't know his reasoning. I do know that we all come to the hobby by different routes. A few years ago, I was leaving a $10 house as another monger was entering. He was obviously crippled and deformed. The girl he was with walked pass me as he was struggling on crutches up the steps. She stopped to hold the front door and I asked if he needed help. He shyly declined my offer. I'm guessing it was a matter of pride. I later asked the home owner about him. I was informed that he was a fellow photographer. I was told he only took pictures, nothing else. He was the third handicapped monger that I have witness in the hobby. My guess is that handicapped mongers are easy prey. Often, depending on their handicap, handy challenged mongers cannot easily pick and choose. They must sometime rely on others and are likely willing to pay a little extra for reliable service.
I don't know YoshiRed. I don't know his circumstances. I am not suggesting that he is handicapped in any way. But! I am a disabled serviceman and I've learned enough during my life not to pre-judge others.
In the future, I hope YoshiRed follows the advice given by that 'Ol Gator.

Somehow the two picture takers got polarized and guys took sides. Amazing how things like this develop. Fighting was so bad, Mod banished each to their own threads, which is how this thread came to be. Eventually the other dude slipped up and someone posted the dude's IRL real name and links to FB, etc. Of course that dude who posted the "outting" stuff got banned. There are still remnants of that kind of 'stuff" around.

There is a little known, but very helpful USASG feature, which may help you. Click on the highlighted user name of any member and a dropdown menu will appear. Then Click on View Forum Post to see a complete list of that members past post. I find this feature extremely helpful.

I'd rather have a hygienically clean girl with plain features, who provides good service over a beauty queen with questionable hygiene and a provider of bad service.

Back when I did do car dates, if memory serves, very few of the prettier girls were eager to strip down in the backseat of my mini-van. When I think about it, neither was I. Originally, Alysia didn't want me to see or photograph the tattoo, which was a stupid idea when you think about it. Our agreement was for her to model for nude pictures. Not nude pictures with her pants on. I put her at ease by telling her that I could remove the tattoo it I thought the tattoo would harm her personally in anyway. (More than anything else, she seemed embarrassed by the tattoo.) I assured her that it wasn't my intention to show her in a way that might damage her image or hamper her ability to perform her chosen occupation. I explained that as an amateur photographer, my purpose was not to harm her in anyway, but to challenge my own skills by making her appear as appealing as possible without deceiving my viewers. (I said something like that or words to that effect.) I also let her know that if she didn't remove her pants that would be a deal breaker. At that point I didn't know the nature of the tattoo.
As I said before, the tattoo itself didn't bother me. I was more impressed by her shapely ass. However, I couldn't help but be curious. I have no tattoos, myself. I cannot understand the appeal. Alysia's case seemed to me particularly disturbing. Why would anyone, much less a beautiful young girl, get a tattoo that could potentially be so embarrassing? So, I asked her. Of cause she couldn't give a reasonable answer and elected to lie.
Later, while editing Alysia's photos, as much as I could determine after viewing her other dark tattoos. Alysia is most likely a witch (or demon) and not a Nazi.
