Got to ask a question of the team. I have been mongering the K and Camden strolls for many years. I have seen a trend in the last year or so of the availability of the typical $10 houses that the girls offer to take you to do the deed. The last dozen or so times, I have taken them up on the offer. I have not had any bad experiences, but could see things going wrong. (I have had really bad experiences in other cities throughout the US, but never in Philly or Camden.).
I have a lot of experience in the 'hood, so I am not scared, but could see some guys being weirded out. I never take a wallet or anything valuable at all, only enough money for the deed.
Have any of you had a bad experience? The funniest experience, once a SW told me, "this isn't a typical $10 place, the dude has heat, running water, and' shit!

This is hard core, Big City, East Coast poverty on display here. Might be worth a tourist "look see" but better have a street savvy, hardened A-Game if one is gunna try playing in that sandbox. Gotta give credit to those who have mastered the art of playing in that venue!

"K" street is rough in its own regard, not a place for those unsure or who show fear. I wouldn't take a girl back to the Rittenhouse under any circumstances. Look up le Hotel Carlyle as an hourly place for SW hook ups. Most girls should know how to get there. 14th & Poplar St, a block off (west of) Broad Street

I'm not from the area, but this much I know.
There is no 14th & Poplar St. There is no 14th Street anywhere in Philadelphia. There is 13th street, then Broad Street and then 15th Street. Broad Street is where you would normally expect 14th Street to be. The Carlyle Hotel is at the corner of Poplar street and 15th street.
The, "EL," is what most Philadelphians call the, Elevated Transit Train that runs from the far end of West Philadelphia, though Center City and ends in Northeast Philadelphia. Only a small section of the, "EL," is built over the Kensington Avenue Stroll.
I used to go to Rittenhouse Park to play chess. That was years ago. The park is still there, the neighborhood is still there, that's all I know.

1. There are hit houses or houses where addicts go to shoot-up or smoke. These are usually abandos or houses run by an addict, who allow girls to bring in dates and charge the dates $10.
2. There are drug houses where drugs dealers hang around and sell drugs to the owner, the girls and their dates. Because the owner is an addict he allows the dealers to run the house. Sometimes you can get a room in the back for $10.
3. There are houses run by people just trying to make ends meet, hustle up a few extra dollars.
I avoid hit houses and drug houses. Most dealers don't want any trouble anywhere near them and addicts know to respect that. The odds of you getting robbed in or near a drug set are slim. The last thing a dealer wants is trouble from some solid citizen.
I was once in a house where a fight broke out between the owner and a street punk who threw a brick into a window.
I don't like being around anywhere where drugs are being sold or taken. If there is a raid, I don't want to be part of it.
I always ask, "Is there electric, running water and heat. I have been lucky. I have been able to locate some fairly nice places. Unfortunately, sharing is out of the question. If you want to find the good $10 places, ask the girls; do not ask me.

And none intended in my previous posts. But my experience suggests that one doesn't wander on to "K" St (###) with Midwesterner nativity, Rocky Mt High, West Coast laid backness or Southern gentlemanness and expect to be 100% safe. The game is more focused and the dangers more acute. Perhaps if one cut their teeth here on "the K" they don't appreciate the superior skills they have acquired in dealing with "more" than is in most places?
"The K" is much more than a bunch of "Good Ol' Boys cruising in their pickup trucks" looking for p*ssy. So anyone who fits the category of Good Ol' Boy, "could" be open for some "street education. " I'm just sayin'.
### = used as an abbreviation here to avoid typing out Kensington Avenue. It appears to be a convention that most around the board understand and have widely adopted. I guess it would be confusing to those "not from around here!" Maybe another point supporting RTFT?

I have been to le Hotel Carlyle before, can find my way there and assume anyone wanting to go there would either ask a girl or use gps to get there. I don't live in that area so I don't know all of the streets intimately. Just get to the Broad and Poplar area and get west by a block and you'll find the hotel.
Now let me clarify a few things and be a bit SPECIFIC:
1) The real name is Hotel Carlyle. The "le" is used in front of the name to give it the illusion of of being a fancy place, when in reality is a dump (no offense intended) and not a place you would wish to take your family unless you had no other alternative. So the use of the "le" is actually a bit of an inside joke on these boards for those who have been there and are "in the know. " Just some playful fun. No harm intended.
2) le Hotel Carlyle is not on any corner as it is in the "middle" of the block. Not dead center "middle" but "middle" in the sense of not being on the corner. If one were to describe the corner that the hotel is closest to, I would guess that North Carlyle Street would be more appropriate than 15th St.
3) Getting there isn't as easy as the "get to Broad & Poplar" as I described. (too many one-way streets) For me that is good directions and I figure it out from there. No big deal. But since I am being specific: if one is coming down Broad Street from the north, they need to take a right on Girard and left on 15th and left on Poplar. If one is coming from the south on Broad, left on Parrish and right on 16th and right on Poplar. Which of course assumes there are no left turn restrictions or other turn restrictions along said routes and that one wishes to park in front of the hotel. Again, as I said, I'm not from that area, so don't know all of the turn restrictions. Attached map should help. Or Google it and let GPS take you there.

Me I'm just an 'OL Gator.I met up with her twice. The first time we were interrupted by a passerby who threatened to get out of his car and punch her in the face. We were just sitting there talking before any poetry readings. That quickly ended our first meeting. I still wonder if that was a setup or not. We met a 2nd time a few weeks later and completed our session interruption free, and quite skilled too.
I've seen her in recent weeks stumbling around not looking too good.

Also, can we agree that when someone uses the term "K St" on these here threads, as a matter of convention or convenience, that it is understood that they mean Kensington Avenue? After all, it appears as though that is the generally accepted practice here already?
Can we agree that travelers visiting our fair city, do themselves a disservice by NOT reading the threads and getting educated about the game they are about to play?
The issue of the street name abbreviation is quickly cleared up if one does some basic homework and finds the stroll maps! I dunno, I kinda figure if one isn't observant enough to find the Philly stroll maps laying out in plain sight, how are they gunna spot UC-LE on the stroll, a pimp hanging around the corner or some other street danger waiting to happen?
So visitors or newbies need to do some homework since there is a good trail of evidence laying around for the taking; left over many years by gents with decades of experience. I mean really the photo history left by this thread alone could provide a visitor with enough evidence / knowledge to pick a true SW and not a UC-LE as well as avoid a fair number of the crazy ones.
I dunno, I think we are on the same page and hope we aren't caught up in semantics? I do hope we can come to agreement?

The baseball bat is the preferred weapon of choice among many people, all over the United States. We all probably have at least one baseball bat story. Mine is about a friend using a bat. I would be more surprised if there were no stories about a monger being chased with a bat. Why would mongers be different from the rest of the population?
Geez! Drunks have been getting rolled since the invention of gruel. Or was it grog? No matter! Prostitutes have been rolling drunks since the start of the profession. Any guy who gets drunk and goes with a lady of the evening and passes out ought to expect to wake up penniless, with all his clothing and valuables gone. Back in my day, in my old neighborhood where there was a saloon on every corner; ladies would wait late into the night solely for a drunk to rob. That's how they made their living, rolling drunks.
As for never going to the girls location. All I can say is, never say never, but always be cautious. I have gone to a lot of places I probably should not have gone. I have been some places I should not have been. Call it luck or fate, but I came out okay. I have my methods, precautions I take, but the truth be told, it is mostly luck. I would never advise anyone to blindly follow anyone. Caution is the name of the game.
In short, whatever works for you is your best option. Be cautious! Car dates, hotels, $10 houses or taking them home, they all have horror stories.

LE got involved somehow and they were handcuffs but I guess nothing was found on them so they were let go. Hopefully it's just a rumor. CookyJar.I don't know how many of you caught on to this, so let me explain. My last three reports all occurred on the same day, night, and outing.
First I ran into Jennifer, who I now know as Lindsay. I passed on her because I saw Betty aka Veronica standing about a block away, on another corner. I had been with Veronica before and I knew what she was capable of, Jennifer aka Lindsay was a unknown, so I decided to pick-up Veronica. But! Right off, I could tell she was sick. I decided to give Veronica a few dollars, get her well and thereby insure a better date.
After dropping Veronica off, where she could get and take her medicine, I returned to the stroll and picked up Jennifer aka Lindsay. Lindsay was cute as shit and promising as hell, but no guarantee. On the street, Lindsay seemed to agree to everything. Once in the car she switched things up a little. By the time we arrived at the $10 dollar house, she wanted to only do pictures. Because I had not seen her naked body, I was okay with only doing Pictures. Why? Because, I thought I had Veronica waiting in the wings.
Lindsay was sick and in a hurry to get well. I was okay with letting her go, (Maybe not happy, but at least it felt okay) because I was eager to return to Veronica's pre-arranged pick-up location. Sadly,Veronica was a no show. OH Shit! What was I to do, now? I had just passed up / fucked up my chances with two hot girls.

From Kara to Lena. Here's my reasoning. Kara was a one time find by an expert (CookyJar). Though cute and flawless, she was not found ever again from what I can tell. Lena though not out there now was always around and always first class. Kind, accommodating, funny, well groomed and very frisky. I am primarily an Utr guy but Lena was always my fallback for most of 2015 when the utr flaked or I needed a second girl for a 3 sum. Look, before I made my first scoop many years ago I did the following:
1) Memorized the 22 Rules page.
2) Read entire threads here, and asked questions when I didn't understand something.
3) Ran the local strolls for 2+ months to get a lay of the land, who is out, LE patterns.
Point is that I learned a tremendous amount from this site and its occupants and that helped me build up some "spidey senses" which kept me safe. The Street is a powerful and often unfortunate teacher. It is your choice how you decide to learn.

Today I went to k street again, still around 12 noon, and I drive around for more than 1 hour!

This is great information about cell phones. Before I got my burner phone, I use to let girls use my cell phone all the time to make calls. I would say about 5 girls have my main number, but none of them have giving me any problems. Only one of the girls will call me once in a while, which is my favorite one. So I don't mine at all. She has never call asking for anything, or gave out my main number. I guess I was lucky. Since I almost got my phone stolen, I have invested into a cheap burner phone and wouldn't mine giving out that number because that phone would be powered off majority of the time. While searching though my pictures, I came across these variations on Glockman original pose. They may not be exactly what Glockman had in mind. They are the results of the evolution of his vision as it is seen by me.

...It looks simple but it is not easy to get a good result...Then I went to my own archives and worked backwards. I quickly came across a bunch of what I thought to be failures. They certainly fail when compared to Glockman's.
After looking at my fails, I realized that the fault lay mostly with me, the photographer. Sometimes I took a picture when there was no picture to be taken. What I mean is that, I forced a shot simply because it was in my view finder. There were other times when the girl just wasn't capable of the pose.
Usually, I would instruct the girls on the pose, then have them position themselves and then once I was satisfied, I told them to put down their legs and relax. I told them to relax while I focused and readied the camera. Once I was ready, I would count to three and then they were to strike the pose and I would take the picture. I did it this way so that the girl would not be straining to hold the pose while I set-up. This worked for some girls. They would easily open their legs, smile with little effort. Others would open their legs; forget to hold their legs straight and wide, forget to lift their head and to smile, resulting in something less than I had hoped for.
Whenever anyone, not just photographers, take a picture, they want it to be perfect. They want their pictures to resemble exactly what they imagined they saw in the view finder.
For me, these maybe nice pictures, but they are not what I was looking for.

I started by doing a little research, trying to determine why Glockman's always looked better than mine. So I went back and found what I thought were good examples of his work. Then I tried to determine just what makes a picture an "Ankles Away," shot.
1. The legs have to be spread wide, out and not just up in a V-shape.
2. There should be no bend (or little) at the knees.
3. The pose should look natural, relaxed and not forced.
4. There should be a sense of uniqueness and sparkle. (Every time I look at a Glockmans Ankles Away shot, its like I am seeing the pose for the first time.)
5. If the girls face is in the picture, she should not be grimacing and appear comfortable..
Glockman's Ankles Away shot, in there simplicity, always seem to include a multiplicity of elements. They imply sensuality as well as fun.
I've included a small sample of Glockman's Ankles Away shots, that I selected for contrast. I could have picked from any of the many that he has posted, they all have the same qualities.
