I get that late nights / early mornings give better cover of darkness, but not all of us can get away at those times.I mostly hit 5th Ave and Pulaski / Grand mid-day to early evening. Population and peak times do vary a lot. 5th and Kilpatrick has 1-3 girls all day. These are mostly but not always Black girls and they're looking for higher rates. Just in the past month I've been seeing more White girls right here, but low quality.
On the rest of 5th, 10 am is the start of a second wave after the early morning crowd, either girls who didn't get up early or girls who need to top up. That thins out by around Noon-1 pm as the girls leave to enjoy their profits. Then some come back out an hour or two later. They all seem to disappear from either area between 3-4 pm. My guess is they get chased off before the school kids let out, especially from 5th and Kostner. That stretch might pick up again around 6 ish? Again, it's pretty variable.

Big time city thing lately in places I have never seen. From what I understand there was a move to remove many of these places and give them actual places to stay. Big time city thing lately in places I have never seen. From what I understand there was a move to remove many of these places and give them actual places to stay. I know on harrison at financial plaza which was a major encampment is now gone. However, the ryan near roosevelt last I checked is still there. What I did see recently is right in humboldt park several tents. So I would totally agree that things are changing rapidly and not for the better which in turn is sliding down to the SW women. One would tend to believe like delivery people and cabs they are easy targets as the bad people know they have cash. It is scary as I was held up while hacking a cab back in the 80's. Daley's first 3 years in office Chicago had over 900 homicides a year, we've never seen anything close to that since. Blame the 24 hour news cycle and social media for the hype. Crime maybe more widespread but that's about it. I guess when it was confined to certain areas on the south and west side it was okay but now other areas are feeling some of the same pain others did for decades and things seem out of control. Or maybe people just don't like the mayor for other reasons.
But since I started the SW scene in 2016 compared to now its been a massive drop off. I think the girls are avoiding the strips due to robbery risks in combination to moving onto online platforms to charge more, and avoid being on the street. I think there's an uptick in girls also being taken off the street and forced into trafficking or missing too. They have been robbing the girls at gunpoint. She did mention four vehicles that seem to appear around the time the girls would be coming out after midnight. She mentioned that one car pulled up by her and someone stuck out a gun out of the rear window. She also mentioned that two girls got robbed at gunpoint inside the Subway. Fifth is _near_ the Cicero Blue line stop but you'll have a 5-10 minute walk before you get to anyone. The area doesn't have many pedestrians so you're going to stand out A LOT. Best if you look a bit scruffy if you don't want to draw attention. Then you need to find a place to do your things, which means you need a girl who's willing to hike along with you to wherever that is. I've had some girls in that area refuse to talk to me on foot, but only a few. But a lot of the time the most I'll get is a phone number because the girls figure if you don't have a car you don't have enough cash to make it worth walking with you. I know a few spots for the deed nearby but they're ++sketchy++ and also dwindling.
