Myself I also drive a muscle car with a modified exhaust and in almost 4 years doing this I haven't had no problems at all. Cicero and 47th the cars are a mix of everything because of the restaurants in the area and also I've seen everything from beat up Kias to BMWs and Mercedes Benz parked on the streets. Again, my issue is with reckless drivers who for some reason don't understand how the game works.

Best times to go there is between 10 pm and midnight, and 3 am to 6 am. The area is considered a red zone because of gang activity, that's why the police heavily patrols it.
5th is dead almost at any time now. Mornings before sunrise used to be the perfect time, but now it's empty most of the time. Plus the pimps at Killpatrick have scared off most of the girls, to the point they’ve either move out to other areas or stop all together. Also, Pulaski and Jackson used to be a "Candy store", so it made sense for the girls to stay around that area, but the heavy police presence seems to have pushed the dealers off to another corner, so most likely the girls moved with them.

Had to make a random stop at a Walmart the other day and the nearest one to me was the cal city one at 167th.

Sorry should have been more specific LOL Jamie and Jennifer are sisters. They normally could have been found on pulaski anywhere from division to belmont as well as Cicero and diversey. Also about 10 years ago use to walk diversey between central and austin. They started around 2008-2009 and were about 18/19 years old, so now they would be in there early 30's. Jamie was assaulted by a crazy guy driving a minivan on north ave between central pk and pulaski. Ended up in the hospital and I believe lost a finger or half a finge. Nice girls but the streets were getting to them as well as their vices. Think Jamie also lost the majority of her teeth due to her habit. Pretty sad but who are we to judge. Last I saw them around was right before covid so about 2019/2020.

Got in the area around midnight. A couple BSW's and a couple black tranny's out (BTW there are more trannys then I can remember). After a few passes these bozo kids took control of Cicero at 50th shutting down all directions with their cars doing drifts, burn outs, etc. Totally killing any chances for getting around. I appreciate it!Keep in mind that what is refered to as "cic" or even "cicero" is a street 48 hundred west (and it all works from ground zero at state and madison) so what is refered to as "5th" on this forum is really east on cicero a few streets south of the 290 expressway the "ike". As far as melrose these are all nearby western suburbs. Cicero is also a nearby western town. So melrose, franklin, stone, schiller are all short for the name and the word "park". Like I say where you will be staying / working there is not much to be had. It has been reported on the other thread that on occasion one has cruised through those places as you mentioned, went in for some booze at a store and a girl or two was hanging around nearby looking for "a ride". Again hit or miss and really not much even further west which is the "heim strip". So that would be the east end of the big airport from say belmont down to lake street. Not to get into a geography lesson, I would just cruise around a bit the first night you are in town. Good luck. But I haven't seen or heard of anything in years. It also had a real good strip joint on Lake Street, long gone. Manheim, north of Armitage used to have possibilities, but now it's a rarity and the strip club scene is mostly dead. There are probably mongers that can give you more promising info than me. But based on Maywood location, the closest might be Chicago on 5th, and North Pulaski. But they can be sketchy hoods and I wouldn't recommend without being familiar with the streets. If you're a traveler, maybe you are blessed with dough. Massage places or escort sites might be better for you. I am more familiar with the streets so I'll let others weigh in on those.
