Back at it again after a long hiatus. The pickings are very slim. But based off the reports I ventured a little further than I normally did and am not upset at all.

Did the the 5th Cic stroll recently, about 4 am, and turned onto one of the side streets a *BOOM* there's two state police cars, in the middle of the street with just their parking lights on. I did my first Chicago stroll (only other time was in Dallas) it was around 7-715 this evening and made eye contact with a slender blond at the gas station. I drove down the road just to familiarize myself and turned back around only to see her again. She definitely acknowledged the 2nd look and as I was in the left turn lane, she started walking in that direction. I was going to a side street but there was no parking and I felt a little weird. I took one more lap and she looked at me with the WTF look and I tried turning down another road and that didn't. Figured it wasn't the right time. I know there have been questions whether or not the girls are still out and where. I can only speak to my own sightings. I went out during the day last Wednesday. I did not hit all areas. But what I saw was the biggest collection I have seen in a long time. I chose not to partake. I saw 6 different girls on 5th. Pulaski, between North and Division was swimming with them. I stopped in at my friend's little car wash and the street looked pretty much dead. I don't know what these workers if they are indeed working are doing after work since the bars are all closed. It will be interesting to see how a community that is totally based on service jobs will come back and at what level. Some of the big players out there that own most of the properties on the strip and downtown were paying their workers, however now are furloughing them as they don't want to carry the load. Many tourista are looking at it as a payback for all of those resort fees. I track the area from back by us here as I am looking to get out of our winters. I don't think I can ever leave us here full time, however I would like to get away over in nevada especially when our weather goes south. I would say all of the mentioned people here by mr. Mannheim are indeed screwed for now. The one pro I knew tried to have a legal life and it was indeed difficult for her. The escort life is by it's nature secretive so all of this money is hidden. Now what does a stripper or escort claim on their taxes so they can get money either at the end of their working career? I would think that landlords and mortgage companies are being reasonable with at least a forbearance. So the bills aren't going away. They are just being delayed which can be problematic just the same. I am ok with money now, however I was in a situation of being thrown out of a crib in the past. All of these forbearance programs and court / city supported programs of saving one's house can be a slippery slope. Been there done that. With all of the jumping through hoops I did in the court system down there it became a full time job just to hold off dart's people from putting me on the street. Hopefully reasonable people will do reasonable things. Again if people really need food, shelter and clothing it's available for the asking.

I have no official info on what policy (written or unwritten) that CPD or Cook County is using. But here is a little info from other locations. A friend of mine over in Indiana that has a neighbor that is a local cop has been told that they are not stopping people for minor traffic violations, like speeding unless it is considered to be of a dangerous nature. In my local town, cops are not investigating minor crimes such as your home being broken into, unless there is significant loss or damage or danger. This info was in the local media. They are simply taking phone reports. Both of these reports are designed to reduce LEO contact with the public. Take that for what it is worth and if other mongers have info on what locals PDs are doing, feel free to report it. No rumors, please, that might get mongers in trouble- make sure it is solid info.

A friend of mine over in Indiana that has a neighbor that is a local cop has been told that they are not stopping people for minor traffic violations, like speeding unless it is considered to be of a dangerous nature. In my local town, cops are not investigating minor crimes such as your home being broken into, unless there is significant loss or damage or danger. This info was in the local media. They are simply taking phone reports. Both of these reports are designed to reduce LEO contact with the public. Again I do believe that some will have a fear factor and believe that since they ghosted on child support or indeed are out loose when they should not be, many will take a pass on the 1. 2 k. On the village website anything minor like who really knows what that entails is to be phoned in. What usually happens up here for instance the homeless can take the blue line at rosemont, jump on the big blue bus (not my former garage down here though) and get off in our little downtown. Usually if the fuzz sees them hanging out, they will say look we are giving you a free ride! Meaning they escort them back up to rosemont, see that they get up on the el and then send them towards the city. Now what one of the homeless guys told me while he was waiting for the bus was that they just told him look you don't belong here so get on the bus and get out now! The fuzz station across the street is closed unless it's official business. So yea I am with you, ump. The line is blurred. I am of the belief that if one is stopped for something stupid while driving they are going to ask what you are doing out and in the area. I mean I have limited my in city drives only because right now there's nothing down there but my mail box downtown.

Those places are incubators for this kind of thing. I know when I was doing what I now call "sucker" work with the cpd, west loop associations and charitable organizations (problem being the same 15 people do all the work and the rest of the community just applauds and gives you your complimentary pat on the back!) We toured cook county lockup with the cpd and got an extensive tour. Everything in there is tight and we did go into a cell which was two to a cell except when they are crowded and then they did one on the floor, two in the bunks. They have those blocks where they do have a communal area. When they are processed they chain them all together when out of this big cage. Makes you wonder why people do crazy things and wind up in there!
I had just written yesterday saying I had no official info about CPD. Today there is a story in the Trib. CPD brass wants to set up checkpoints. Technically, they would be the usual safety checkpoints, looking for seatbelts and auto violations. But people out without a "valid" reason would be urged to go home. The police union is against this as is the ACLU. What does that mean for us? I'm not sure. It will be of interest first to know where these checkpoints will be. Let's say that one is located at North Cic and Fullerton. Does that put a crimp in the route, do we all tell LEO we are on the way home or to the grocery store? Or do we just endure LEO telling us to go home? I personally believe, that if not from the neighborhood, LEO might not believe you are merely shopping or on the way home. LEO is not totally dumb as to why we are out there, especially on some of the seedier routes like 5th. The problem now is that they will believe they have a legitimate reason to stop us. "No sir, we are not stopping you here on Fifth Avenue because we believe you are seeking street girls. We are simply checking to see if you are using your seat belt. " And there is the other thing, that LEO doesn't particularly want to get that close to either us or the girls any more than he has to. So feel free to contradict me or add to the info from the Trib. Maybe just getting older and more paranoid. Both day and night have their advantages and disadvantages, Grand and Pulaski gets too heavy with LEO especially in the warmer months once the sun comes down. Last year I was getting pulled over at night by Pulaski / grand area and by Cicero / 5th And kostner and Madison. They never pulled me over because I was soliciting or looked like I was soliciting. It was for stupid things like I or my vehicle fit the description of some other a hole Or what are you drinking sir? Really? Of course they check my backseat, driver's license etc. And then apologize to me. Total turn off when your looking for some action. So I decided to try to score more in the daytime. So far so good. Potomac and Pulaski in the daytime is hit or miss but recently even with this virus last week there were 4 street walkers waiving at cars around 1 pm. On Pulaski between Augusta and Chicago in the daytime between 9-12 I scored 2 WSW honeys within 2 days.

Is 5th ave right off 290?On Cicero just a couple blocks south of 290 . If you're driving south on Cicero you'll cross over 290 before the bridge turn left on 5th drive til Kostner. You should see them between Cicero and Kostner on 5th. They walk around all over that area.
Figured I would try to get out of my place for a little while today, I'm getting so bored that I have considered working out, just to have something to do, so it's getting seriously boring.

Just another scouting report. Did not partake. Wanted to see if my previous report of more action during the day than night was accurate. On North Pulaski between Grand and Division, saw something like half a dozen girls. Won't vouch for quality. Also, BB, I know many newbies are nervous about just what to do when they find a girl. I'll tell you my system. Others will tell you differently. I drive by to get attention.
