Could be but the wording is strange. Reality is this time of year one will not see ANY le walking a beat except possibly in the downtown area which would be the 1st district! I work close to i55 and cic and decided to be curious if anyone was out when I got off work. So around 4 am I decided to take a drive just to look. Despite the cold ass weather there were SW all over. So don't let this weather fool ya, they out there.Came into Midway around 5:30 AM this morning from a business trip and as I was driving home I noticed 3 girls out on Cicero around that old abandon hotel on the East side of the street.
Couldn't believe it. They must really need the money to be out working in weather like this. Have to feed the habit.

However, be careful of the Mannheim stroll as it is very heavily patrolled by LE during all hours of the day.

I've been looking at far and Clark for a few years now regularly, and I hardly ever seen anyone worth even turning my head for. Maybe I'm just always out at the wrong time! There have been some busts in the area recently, too.
If you get bored try north Clark street, between Pratt and Howard, once in a while something appears amongst the junkies and trannies. Lawrence has been decent as well, most action close to Kimball. I would start going the other way on Cicero, North ave up to Belmont always produces.

Had nothing to do a few days ago. So went for a drive on usual spots around cicero ave. Everything dead as it has been lately. Had given up when I spotted a BSW on 47th and Sacramento. Nice looking. A bit of caution that I am starting to watch myself. When I was on 47th from say cicero to western I saw lots of le. You will also see those blue flashing cpd neighborhood lights up and down 47th on the poles. On cicero I went from say 30 something down to i55 and looped back. Have also gone mannheim from lawrence (airport so nothing of course) down to lake west to that larger street and then back on north looping around and then northbound on mannheim again I would caution and advise to vary your trolling. Technically cruising is a stopable offense. Also as mentioned here by some of the senior pros. Be careful on mannheim. I don't think I have gone up and down from say fullerton to lake that I haven't seen the Christmas lights on! Happy and safe but satisfied mongering.
Many of the providers in the Humboldt Park area along North Ave know of two Lees nicknamed "Salt & Pepper". Anyone heard of them?

Went strolling around cic and 47th to kedzie last night around midnight to 1 am. Not a single prospect. God I hate winter.

As she walked away I noticed that she then went across Cicero to the back of the McDonalds parking lot, got in the rear seat of a blacked-out SUV and the vehicle then drove away. I then decided to leave and who pulls up next to me at the next stop light North of McDonalds? The blacked-out SUV with 2 uniformed cops sitting in the front seat and her sitting in the back seat. I looked right at her and smiled and just shook my head. She just looked at me with a cold stare.
From where that SUV had been parked they had clear view of her at all times and I'm sure that had she got into my car they would have been all over me like flies on shit. I'm glad I don't do street walkers but I still can't get that face and body out of my mind.

Be careful!I doubt they let an Under cover officer get in the car with anyone and even so, there is no crime in giving someone a ride. I would said sure jump in and drove away -- w / o discussing any details -- from the area and see if anyone follows and the either proceed with the date or find a place to drop her off and see what happens with trail vehicle. Now maybe it was an informant of some sorts and rules vary but what you described doesn't sound like a UC operation to me.

I'm not saying you need to believe it, I'm just saying that it happens all the time. About 10 years back I got caught in a sting. I had pulled over and parked across from a hot dog place on Cicero. A woman walks up and asked if I wanted to party, asked me for 15 bucks (a really low number but back then some street girls were doing things for 15-20 bucks in some areas). Ran into Crystal the other day on Cicero walking south. Saw her about 49th but I kept on going south. I also saw another very skinny white girl just past 50th. Always choose the spot. Never take a SW's suggestion on a spot. Tell her you have spots you like to go to where there isn't a lot of traffic, one-way streets, etc. You should be aware by now what the areas are like and where you can park and have an idea for how long. If not, drive around the area for a bit. Use google maps before you head out. Just observe what is going on when you drive around.

Cruised down cicero to about Roosevelt and then back up Pulaski. Did 2 loops between about 1030 til midnight. WSW on cic south of Belmont. Looked a bit rough, mid 40's, skinny maybe a 5 on the scale. Another WSW a bit south of her (maybe around Fullerton). Even rougher looking. Spotted a good looking early 20's BSW just north of Roosevelt on the especially shady corner on the east side of the street just before the viaduct. From the glance I'd give her a 7 or an 8 (def an 8 on the ass) she was gone on the next pass. Nothing eslse worth noting other than the strong presence of our uncle. Stay safe.

Just want to let those that don't know this. That area is the No1 area in the whole city for busting Mongers and Ho's.
