I would also check other sites to see if they are reviewed. If they are showing some skin in their ads, chances are they are more legit but I would avoid them. There are too many out there to choose from.

From what I have seen or read when the LEO does a sting on CL they are usually using some type of bait that is out of the ordinary like barely teenage girl or in this case twins. The fact that they are asking questions and quoting prices is either a real stupid provider or a definate sting. Whenever I call anyone all I ever say is "tell me about your service". That way if anything is said out of the ordinary I didn't actually ask anything specific to initiate it.
Just a thought, but as Deere said, there are enough providers reviewed on either here or TER, or even using someone off of Roomservice 2000 is better than getting popped and paying at the very least $500 for a lawyer.

TER has a policy that if a provider gets a negative review, at least one other person must report a similar experience or they don't post them. I know from experience, as last year I got ripped off by a "visiting" provider who agreed to a price, then when I got there, took the money and refused to do anything more than give me some "manual action" unless I shelled out a lot more money. I wrote a bad review of her to post on TER to warn others and because nobody else reported a similar scam, mine was killed off. As far as I know the b**ch is still out there upselling scamming poor unsuspecting sods.
Their policy, the guys who depend on the site just have to remember that bit of trivia.

Reviews disappear all the time, though, and I think providers can make it happen if they complain. At least one provider I used to keep my eye on has gotten several to "disappear" -- the ones that mentioned services beyond what she advertises. Maybe she doesn't want to let on that FS is available for legal reasons, or because not everyone always gets it. Either way, it makes TER a tricky read.

I quite trying to figure out how TER operates it's review screening process after what happened to me. I just take them as yet another source of opinions on providers, just like I regard what's said here, one more data point to make a decision on.

Guys, I am NOT a shill for TER, but this is the first I have heard of such a policy...
That being said, TER does have a policy that if nothing sexual happened, then you cannot submit a review. So basically if you get completely ripped off, girl takes your money and does nothing, you cannot write a review saying that. If you try, it will get rejected. In this situation, the only thing you can do is write about it on their Forums, and try to "out" the girl that way.
If something sexual does happen, but you just plain hated it, I don't think such a review would get blocked... I've written many bad/mediocre reviews on TER over the years, although I guess they may have changed their policies recently.

Actually, as the title says, I was told that by the folks who run the TER site when I asked them what had happened to my post. I also told them that all I got from the provider in question (who collect $$$ from me before anything happened) gave me a half-assed HJ before closing off everything when I refused to leave the room and get her the extra money she wanted to charge me. I wrote a negative review and it wasn't removed. The girl sent me messages via the site threatening to sue me for defamation, which I found quite funny, but nothing's been removed.
I've had one rejected because I made a negative remark, but that's the extent of it. I found the rejection odd because I didn't say anything cruel, I just stated the facts; the service was pretty poor. My guess is that the site owner at the time may have been nailing the girl and he didn't want her to have any negative press. Just my theory, but I could be wrong.

They collect huge lists of numbers and sell them to unscrupulous telemarketers, scammers, jerkwad "collection agencies" who run skip traces looking for old out-of-statute debt, buy it for pennies on the dollar and then try to strongarm you into giving them money, etc. If you respond via e-mail, you end up on e-mail spam lists.
That ad and your experience sounds to me like a sucker ad. If you start getting telemarketing or other weird calls, that's why.
If you must use CL, use your common sense. Just because she says "pic is real" don't believe it if it looks too good to be true! Stick to the ones you know or at least avoid the ones where your big head says "seems fishy" but your little head says "come on it's fine!"

I don't know if the person reviewing my review dien't like me, didn't like the girl, or was trying to protect the girl, but the process was a real pain in the ass. I too have put in a few reviews with TER and none ever got posted. The few that I posted were negative and not sure if they are trying to keep most of the reviews on their site good. Either way, it is a crap shoot if you are going with TER, because any provider even if she does have stellar reviews can just not be into it. I use TER frequently when travelling. I find some info is better than none, plus I prefer spinners and while beauty is subjective height info and build are usually reliably reported. The only time I wrote a negative review it was rejected because the Craig's post for the girl had expired.

I agree. TER is good as a basic spot check before you "take one for the team". I find it less worthwhile when out of town due the inability to report no-shows. Nothing is worse than going out of town and wasting a night of away playing phone tag with some bimbo who ain't coming over. TER really needs to allow this.

I have read in a forum that he would blackmail providers and not post any of their reviews until they would offer him a free session. I used to post on a number of chicago boards (and bbs's back in the dial-up days) but always paid for a TER membership. TER has saved me a great deal of $ and a lot of bad experiences if you know how to 'filter the data'.
But, when I submitted reviews on TER to get free VIP days they would get denied for 'lack-of-detail'. But, other poster's reviews of the same provider weren't as informative as mine and were accepted.
So, I think that if they know you're a paying customer they'll be more apt to reject your submission knowing that you're going to continue to pay for the VIP status.
I'm probably just being paranoid but that seems to be what is happening in my situation.

Cook County sheriff's police conducting a sting discovered three women from Thailand who told investigators they had been forced to work as prostitutes in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Texas in the three weeks they have been in the United States.
The sheriff's office said it suspects the women were caught in a human trafficking ring that offered them for "services" on at least two Web sites.
The three women were in contact with the Thai consulate in Chicago this afternoon, said Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Patterson.
The women had arrived in the United States three weeks ago, and operators of the ring took their passports and demanded $60,000 before they could get their passports back, according to a sheriff's press release. The women are not expected to be charged with a crime, the sheriff's office said.
The three women were discovered on Thursday after investigators answered an ad on a Web site for a "super model, hot, sexy Asian bombshell," the office said. An investigator was directed to go to a Schiller Park intersection and call the contact in the ad again; they were then sent to a specific room in a motel in the 4100 block of North Mannheim Road in Schiller Park.
At the motel, once the officer entered the room, a 23-year-old woman immediately tried to have sex with him, police said. When other investigators came into the room, they questioned the woman, and she told them two other women were in nearby rooms.
The three women were questioned by police, including the sheriff's Women's Justice Services Department, which includes interviewers who are former prostitutes, according to police.
When interviewed, the women, who have limited understanding of English, told investigators they flew to New York on tourist visas from Thailand three weeks ago, and were taken by limousine to an area motel; in each city they visited, the women were met by a limousine driver, who took them to an area motel, and were told not to leave their rooms until the woman involved in the ring gave them orders to leave for another city, according to police.
The woman, who the three women knew only as "Anne," would call them to tell them a man was on his way to meet them to pay for sex, and after each man had left, a man who worked with Anne would collect the money, according to the sheriff's office.
The women have told investigators the operation includes a woman who arranged for men to meet the women for a price, and a man who collected the money they made, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office is working with federal authorities to investigate the ring. In the meantime, the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation is providing social services to the woman, according to police.

That is not necessarily true. The chinese language papers here, in LA, and in NYC have ads in them looking for girls who are willing to work the circuit in the states. I have met several of these girls over the years.
