You're comparing apples and oranges, and I think that's where my issue rests.

I've always been more than a bit leery of 'services' like RS2K. Part of it is the worry that they're a huge target for any LEO-types that might wants to "get tough on crime". Think of it: a quickly-served search-and-seizure warrant and all that info; names, credit card #'s, you name it, is in uncle's hands.
