Ginal, one time probably over 10 years ago now, I was riding down 280 and saw a SW outside that seedy looking motel in Harpersville. That is the one and only time I have ever seen any girls down that stretch you mentioned. Because of that whenever I have need to ride down that way I'll always pay close attention to what's around there, yet I've not seen anything out there since. A friend of mine used to do contract work for Walmarts and used to have to stay overnight at local motels because of it. He is also a SW enthusiast, and once he had to stay overnight in Sylacauga. He told me he rode all through Sylacauga and that it was completely dead. He even went back into the project area behind the football stadium on into town, and saw nothing. All of these people were engaging in homosexual activity as it is common in parks around this area. So no big deal.
I disagree with your statement; it is a big deal when two (three, four, or five) consenting adults are denied the right to engage in whatever it is that turns them on (assuming they were private/ not public acts).
I also strongly disagree with the loitering laws that the courts/Leo are using.
Next they'll be regulating our rights to (fill in the blank).
All of these people were engaging in homosexual activity as it is common in parks around this area. So no big deal.

Here in Birmingham, there's several parks people meet up at like that for homosexual rendezvous, namely Bradford park over near Trussville. It was in the news alot in the last several years because people would meet up there and go in the bathrooms or areas in the woods nearby where they thought they were hidden but they weren't. There's an active tennis court there, plus a childrens playground, and they'd do their thing right where people ended up seeing them. Chances are where they were catching them in Florence was inside the restrooms. Regardless of it being inside a stall, it's still not private. The loitering laws are more than likely there to be able to catch pedophiles who might be hanging out at the park to abduct a child.
Ginal I am in Harpersville and other than a stray from out of town the area is dead. Years ago they used to be around but most are holed up in a house now with their bf. Childersburg every blue moon you might catch one around the laundrymat beside Hardees and the motel that you mentioned by Burger King is usually dead. Sylacauga has a few back behind Avondale but they are usually holed up also. Sad to say the whole SW scene down this way has went dry unless you want to walk into a Crack house and take the chance of getting raided. If I can get some digits of local talent I will pm you their number, but other than just a very occasional find it is pretty poor pickins.

Did anybody read about the Foot Washing festival that went on over the weekend in Clay County ? I thought it was funny how they made such a big deal about the drugs and the random sex going on there, yet by publishing an article about it in the paper tells other interested parties about it who might have otherwise not known. I know I'd never heard of it. It's gone on for years, and suddenly the sheriffs hear about the drugs and sex going on so they have to set up substations to preserve their so-called order. They think by putting that in the paper all the bible thumpers will all let out a shocked sigh when they read it, but they don't realize others who might want to attend BECAUSE of the 'evil' things they're trying to prevent will read it as well.
