I've always had luck at Fantasyland and never had any luck at Thee Love Shack. Now, it takes patience at any of these places. AND, if you go to Fantasyland your chances improve dramatically by paying for entry into the Pool room. Even if you don't play pool, some of the girls go in there to play because there's too many guys in the main club area. The pool room is more private because a lot of the guys are too cheap to pay for the pool room (good thing). And even some of the gals that play out in the main theaters are more likely to make sure you get your turn if you've been in the pool room being friendly with them. By friendly, I mean just that - friendly. Be cool and just chat with the gals that go in there. Let them make the moves. Don't run around the pool room with a raging hardon like a dog in heat. The gals in the pool room are there to avoid the guys that are acting like that.

Privacy? No. That's like going to Bucs stadium because you need alone time.

The theaters were all pretty dead last night until about 4:00 a.m. I had a very rare opportunity to be out and about in the wee hours and at about 4:00 a.m. a very young and very hot couple came in. The girl could have passed for 16 but I'm sure they were both 18 as Fantasyland would never tolerate illegal activity....*ahem*...
Anyway, they came in and sat down and within 5 minutes she was sucking him off. Although shy at first they eventually warmed up and lots of people got a good tit grope and she was getting at least 4 fingers in her from every direction and bucking like a horse.
She was hands down the hottest looking girl I have ever seen at a theater and could easily pass for 1st string at any of the strip clubs. Very nice opportunity but a steep price to pay if you count lurking in a theater for 6 hours. They were in an older white chevy s-10 pickup truck so if you ever see that vehicle parked at a theater it's worth checking out.

I've never understood why so many guys are into this sort of thing considering the low payoff probability. I'm certainly no expert on this area, but the impression I have is that the theatre craze was just a phase that was big during a period of time when law enforcement was relatively lax in that area. Most of those theatres were located in the Drew Park area and that area has been heavily "cleaned up", with much fewer lingerie shops, street walkers, etc. (e.g. Lipstixx has been relocated to its outer edges and the Pink Pony no longer even exists). Most of the adult bookstores/theatres are still there (at least the ones that had been known for the activity you're probably thinking about), but after a series of raids to the worst "offenders", the more "outrageous" of those activities have been severely curtailed. Of course, this is all just my general impression and I could be completely wrong, but it would explain why no one has posted anything about this in over 3 years.
It's has all moved to private homes, hotel get togethers and some swing clubs. Lots less activity for sure.

I drive back and forth through that area to get to and from school. It is really dead now. Won't find much of anything in the way of SW's. There are four adult books stores in the area but only two of them are clean enough to want to spend any time in, namely XTC and Fantasyland. As for Lipstixxx, if that place is still open a year from now, I'll be very surprised. Almost no one is there, even during the evening hours. Not a good sign for a strip club.
Have some fond memories of that place though. But that's for a different thread

Drew Park's near the stadium, not downtown or Hyde Park. If there's going to be increased police activity, it stands to reason it would be in those areas. My guess is that they're looking to make some busts for the weekend to get some good press. Bad shit tends to happen during the parade so they'll need to counteract those stories.

It would be far more profitable to operate an adult theater (without the DVD sales/rental component) that caters to the comfort and/or privacy of its patrons with a wink-and-a-nod understanding that consensual physical activities will happen in this environment. Operating as a private, membership-based club would help avoid, shall we say, legal entanglements.
If I were to pursue such a business, I probably would include lingerie and toy sales as part of the operation, and maybe maybe maybe a very limited selection of high-quality adult DVDs as well, to make it more enticing to couples, but I would invest most of my resources in the theater.
Why? People enjoy porn videos at home, but there are very few places where they can enjoy them -- define that however you wish -- in the company of others. There is clearly a demand for such communal activity, so if you can find a way to make it a pleasant experience for patrons, you might make money with it.
Admittedly, the potential audience isn't very large in sheer numbers compared to the overall population -- you wouldn't be filling a mass-market need, a la McDonald's -- but if you are able to find a way to connect with and retain a significant percentage of the people that would make use of such a product, it can work nicely. It's all about market penetration ... no pun intended.

Since they're not breaking any laws that allow them to arrest people, they're chasing them with BS zoning laws, etc. You have to be very careful where you open something like this, otherwise you'll be always fighting a battle of some sort.

And I should probably clarify that I have no intention of investing in an adult theater -- for the reasons you mention and more. But if I were to go into this line of work, I'd do it big and I'd do it right, and I do believe it would be *possible* to make a successful go of it with some smart decisions. (Relying on DVD sales to drive your profitability ain't one of them. It's time to rethink that business model.)
Basically, I'm just playing off the idea that some people might have been shocked -- shocked! -- to learn that the adult theater in Brandon is already closed after only a few months. Bad location, inadequate facility and, from what I read, an undeveloped sales strategy were just three of the factors.

I have gotten lucky a few times since going. This one let me take a nice photo as she sucked me off and caught it all and swallowed.
And then there was this one time on a Saturday night, there was a couple in the gloryholes and the girl was amazing. She must have been in her early twenties. She dies her hair a bright pink. Very attractive. She was servicing guys and I asked if I could go in the room with her instead so I can pop one in her mouth. She said yes, I came in her mouth, she swallowed and I was the happiest Fantasyland 1 patron of all.

I thought shit like this only happened in porn flicks. I stopped by early afternoon, Since this was my first time I was unfamiliar with how the process worked. For a tip of .5 Bianca the front desk attendant was kind enough to give me a few pointers. I purchased an adult theater ticket for .19 (12 hr ticket) and was told there were two couples back there.
Since this was my first time so I was a bit shy and didn't know how to approach them, in addition there were about 7 guys back there which made me uncomfortable. Soon after I purchased the ticket the couple left. I headed up front and the attendants reassured me that later on that evening more couples will arrive. I went home and returned around 10 pm. This time there were quite a few couples and single women, there was also double the amount of guys. Once I got comfortable I started interacting with people and ended up.
Getting full service with see from a single lady and one couple. Overall it was a decent experience. The negatives are the amount of guys that show up, As soon as a female would show up all guys would gravitate towards them like vultures, however most females seemed like they were down regardless. The smell in the theater was also god awful. Pros: Decent females, I saw two really good looking ones the rest were average to butt ugly. However, You have your choice with them for the most part. The absolute best part was I received all of this for the super low price of .19. You just can't beat this. Would highly recommend!

Only luck I have had is on doublelist, couples for him section, but literally it worked out once in the past four or five momtjh months out of maybe 20 ads as they are either placed by the theatres themselves, are fake, won't include you unless you are super hung, or whatever. But it has worked that one time. Also could bring a streetwalker or escort in yourself and pay for her a blowbang or whatever you are looking for. But yea it's not an easy or inexpensive fantasy to fulfill for the most part.

I may be back in Tampa in the near future and from reading this thread, it sounds like the Drew Park adult theaters are dead these days. Many years ago when I lived more on the east side of Tampa, Tres Equis by the Gold Club could be hit or miss for fun. Any reports from there these days?

Any reports from there these days?There has been a bit of chatter about Tres Equis, the common conclusion is that it is an OK place to bring a date, but not to find anything happening. I checked it out a few times, total sausage fest. Also, the problem there bringing a date is that the walls are full of holes so no privacy if that is what you need.

Over in Drew Park, scary theater type place. A lot of zombies walking around. $7 for upstairs, free downstairs. I spent the $7. There was an older older OLDER lady blowing guys upstairs for free. I grabbed her crotch to make sure not a dude, and took my turn. Not my proudest moment but heck why not. Friday noon, was pretty busy with guys walking around.
Back in the day there were a few sex shops fora a decent tip you could have the attendant. Granted this was in the back page days so it was advertised. Not so much now. Are there any toy stores left where you can play with the attendant?
