New little place in National City. Stopped by last night. Kind of a strange set-up; a high-strung guy sitting behind a desk, nice guy but nervous that I don't make any noise while waiting. There's a big curtain separating the "office" from the massage chairs in the middle section. Maybe 3 private rooms in back."Walls" are thin (what do you expect. It's a curtain!) and the walls to the private rooms don't go all the way to the ceiling.
No shower; sink is in the open hallway so you can't even do a quick soap-down of the boys. Strange, because I'm pretty sure they had at least one ad claiming they gave table showers.
Finally a little Chinese gal leads me to the rooms at back. Not surprisingly nobody in the chairs on a Friday night but I did head a couple of you mongers in the other rooms. One guy obviously got shot down. The gal was saying,"Okay. All done. Uh huh. All done. Good night." I thought: well, that's not a good sign.
40 for the hour. She was an evasive little' thing; not sexy looking in the least but not bad looking either. Thin, short, wore jeans the whole time. Really seemed like it was strictly legit. She draped me head to foot with a towel. And of course I kept "accidentally" pushing it off, and she of course kept replacing it. So we danced. But I managed to persuade her for a tug at the end. Again, big emphasis on keeping it hush-hush so she obviously isn't supposed to be doing that.

Just a rant, with all of the legit shops in KM you would think someone would fill the void with a good. 5 / hour R&T shop. One of my favorite service offerings is a good massage followed by a good ending. KM is my least favorite location as your choices are largely legit MPs or overpriced FS joints beyond my willingness to pay. I only know of one reliable R&T joint and they also charge more than I like. Well I guess this is good news for the independents.

However, AMPs have just priced themselves out of the market for me. Even in Escondido where prices are still reasonable, a 30 minute F / S will run $1. 5. Down in SD, you're at over $2. 0. Whereas nowadays, Independents you can get a 30 min F / S 1. 0.1. 2. An hour is 1. 6.2. 0. Not to mention F / S quickies are. 75..80. I could see almost three independent girls for the price of one SD AMP girl.
Of course, getting a massage is nice and generally AMP girls do a better job of pretending to like you. But some of the AMP girls just want to jump right into the F / S without the massage, so in those cases I might as well see an independent and save myself the house fee.
Like Sanamp, I wish there were more RT options around. A place that provides a solid massage with a nice HE. We used to have a TON of those in north county about 3-4 years ago.
As for why there are no KAMP RT places, I'm guessing because the KGirls hear from their friends how much money they can make providing F / S. There isn't as much stigma, so they just go all out.
I'm from L. A. And the price up there are still $ for half hour FS session. I can't understand why the AMP's in S. D. Is soooo overprice. Even for a full hour massage (in LA) w / FS, they ask to $ on tips.
The problem in San Diego is that customers are paying those high prices. If you think about it, the customers can help drive the prices down by only paying at least. 20 below what they say. Then eventualy three rates may go lower.

I imagine the only way SD prices will eventually go down is if the AMPs continue to struggle / shutdown due to a lack of repeat customers. The Escondido AMPs have been able to flourish all these years in part because their prices have remained reasonable so mongers can afford to return repeatedly for their fix. Too bad the SD AMPs can't put two and two together and realize that if they reduced their door fee and insane tip amounts, they'd actually get more business. But I guess the SD girls don't want to work more for their dollar.
Went to Ami's this afternoon. Asked for jennifer (heard great things about her) got coco instead. 30 min. 6 entry. Massage was lame, brushed the boys a few times. Wanted $.2 for FS but was completely turned off by the smell that was coming out of her legs. I opted out of everything.

It can happen. I jumped around to some of the legitimate AMPs on Convoy for a while and finally decided to just go to one. I won't say which one because I don't want to lose it.
Started out as just a great massage. It took awhile but my regular provider gives HE every visit. Just keep plugging away. I always get a 90 minute so. 6 +.4 tip.
Ventured to this AMP yesterday Tues nooner. Got an hour w / Linda (late 30's, see-cup) C-provider. Massage was non-existant. At the flip, she was hesitant at first but after my hands started to roam, she got got in heat to know what I wanted. I ask for HJ but ended up getting BJ for fifty. She was totally in to me, but I can't say the same about her. Don't think I'll be back here anytime soon.
Just a tip to all mongers, leave you're wallet in the car and bring $ for tip. Just to make the pricing drop down in Escondido.

I've done my research here and a couple of other monger sites and come up with the following as (I think) good possibilities for massage and happy endings+++, and I'the like your opinions on where I should spend my money.

Well I decided to give A-1 in Escondido a 2nd chance last night and this time I was not disappointed. I got Erica this time and wow she is worth it. I paid $.5 to the house and $.8 for tip and got full service. Erica really knows how to take care of guys and what I like about her is that she didn't bring up price or negotiate and saw what she offered. At the end before I left I just handed her the cash and she didn't count it in front of me.
Also I found out A-1 is closing and they are moving to a new place called Niagara Spa. Here is the info:

Just got back in town from Hartford, Conn. And Virginia Beach, VT and nothing was happening on the AMP scence so I figured I'm in San Diego so why not hit up a old spot I used to got to quite often for an old reliable HE. Well they have the Grand Opening sign up and its apparent the older lady who used to basically run the shop by herself is gone. Get led to my room by Jenney and she looked good. About a 5/6 spinner. Session started with me laying and Jenney came right in and went to work didn't bother to put a towel on me which was a good sign. Decent massage. She finished quickly with the massage and then offerred the menu. Lets just say for me the best bargin continues to be in the Great city of Escondido. Jenney was great but my credit card is not an option and neither is $1. 40 for me. Negotiate the HE for. 40 plus the door of. 60. Jenney let the hands touch the nice C cup product a a quick touch of the great land below. I would go back but the recession is a killer for overpriced AMP's.

Live out on the east coast last 5 years, but got back in town recently and figure I would stop by a few AMPs and do a report or two for sure. I know my way around having lived here 20 years, but not alot of AMP experience in San Diego, just didn't have the opportunity or time before to try out very often.
Ended up going to Hana, follow 163 to Clarememont Mesa, right across from Dunkin Donuts. Now when I called ahead mamasan said we got "hot girls today" so I figured why not. So out walks Candy, maybe 5-3, nice body, mid 20's, very attractive. Did 60 upfront and added another 200, (same as I do in Providence. And overpay off the standard 60 plus 140) , visits mostly concentrated ouit there in later fall to early spring period when I have the time and opportunity to go. Two locales as far as I can tell really aren't really that much difference in price range, but in San Diego I see the half hour offers here, uncommon in Providence.
Started right in with message, but told her I was more comfortable on my back, so didn't take along to setup for the CBJ, and mixedc in with some good convo, talked about Chargers (last time I was in town a year half back I went to a game with my ex Navy buddies, and those Charger Girls are something man) and Candy is fairly intreresting to talk with. The name of the establishment comes back as Kia not Kiaa. And the address is just across the driveway from Burger King, just where Hana is.

I just checked out the website and am not that impressed. They even had a review about Cafe Lu, a Vietnamese Coffee Cafe. I. E. Look but no touch, no massages here. I sure hope Rubmaps is what you are really looking for.

It varies by AMP but you often don't need to take the girl you are offered and it never hurts to ask. At one extreme the mamasan will not know (or claim not to know) the phony English names of some of the girls. I often ask for a girl by name because even if she is not working that day it helps with your credibility that you have been there before. Next I ask the names of the girls that are available and try to match them (in my mind) with the research I have done to know who is recommended or not. And especially if there is someone at the AMP who I do not want to repeat with I would rather do it with the mamasan than wait until she shows up in the room.
If there is someone you want to see all the AMPs that I have tried this with will let you make an appointment to see her. However, some are not very good about honoring the reservation and if someone shows up with cash in hand they won't turn him away if "your" girl is the only one available. They hope you will wait or come late and I am sure the noshow rate is also pretty high.
I don't do this but if you are very aggressive you can ask to see a lineup (i.e. all the girls) and some places will do that. You can also "reject" someone when they come into your room and ask for someone else but they are likely to say there is no one else available and since you have already paid the house fee you will be in a bad position. However, if you see someone else when you come in that looks a lot prettier it is an option to try.

It seems like its first come first served at AMPs and you get who ever is available at the moment. Is that always the case? I suppose once you've met somebody you liked you might be able to request that person? Maybe even make an appointment? Is there any way to make the same determination at an AMP beforehand?

You go in and basically open a tab with the receptionist. They usually have a juice bar there where you can get soft drinks, but no alcohol. It's like a high school dance on steroids. The girls usually sit in a row of chairs around a dance floor, and the guys hang out at the juice bar checking out the girls. The dancers typically are a mix of hispanic and asian girls. When you see one you like, you ask her to dance and she goes on the clock with the receptionist since the customer must pay for the time he's with the girl. Usually, you dance for a little while and get to feel up the girl. Then you ask her to sit with you, which usually is in a booth area, kind of dark, in the back of the club. Hopefully, you've chosen the right girl and extras are available. I've gotten HJ and BJ but never FS. Price for the service is negotiated with the girl. Once done, the girl clocks out and you pay the receptionist for her time. It's an interesting experience but not something most guys will do more than once or twice, although I got the cell number of a nice latina once and she turned out to be a steady and cheap lay when I was in LA for several years.
There also are hostess clubs in Honolulu which are bars and are much wilder.

Times must be tough all around even for me. Not a whole lot of disposable cash. Last Thursday I had a couple of extra dollars so I stopped by Asia to check out Candy. Been hanging with Candy for sometime now so regulars sometimes get a hook up. It's around 7:30 and Candy tells me business is slow all day only two HJ's and one BJ. Based on DeezNuts' recommendation below and a visit to another facility slightly south on the same street (suite 126) , I can say that while you might not get FS, you can certainly depart in a much better mood than when you entered in Rancho Bernardo.

I live near PB and I was wondering if you guys ever check out MP near PB or Point Loma or Downtown. Are they more likely to have unwanted attention? It had been awhile since I had been to San Diego, so I spent a couple of hours figuring out where to go (special thanks to all the contributing members of this board). I finally decided to go back to Sakura and see Lisa. I got there mid-day, and they didn't seem busy at all. After taking care of the house fee (.5 for 30 minutes) , she came in. Yep right there in Escondido I made a stop Wednesday evening before I read the article that was in the nctimes regarding the new ordinances for MP's in Escondido. Well I had happy and since I do know the real mamsan not the old mamsan she told me she would send me someone good. Been RTFF in advance of visit from out of state this weekend and sounds like Sakura has 'them beat these days, for the most part, in terms of AMPs. Are we talking Miramar Road. Off the 15? Please let me know if I've got the wrong place.

Yes, it's optional not mandatory.So I finally went for the 60min with Maya last week and had an excellent time in true Maya fashion. This is my second time seeing her. After my cash and dash disaster the night before (see the BP report I just added) , I was out for some redemption the next morning (three weeks ago now) at my friendly neighborhood AMP.
