Over the course of a three day sting, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says they netted over thirty people trying to hire hookers, some of them prominent individuals in the community.
JSO arrested 33 people in the sting, which ran from Monday to Wednesday, one of them confirmed to be a lieutenant with Jacksonville Fire and Rescue.
According to sheriff’s office sources, JSO set up a fake escort service and advertised on the internet and newspapers. When people arrived at the hotel for the service, they were arrested.
