A mostly positive review.

Only two previous visits both several years ago and both very short. Cover was 10 this time. I first looked into the nude side and saw three or four girls working over there at about 11 pm. One of them had a small, unshaved patch. I'm thinking it has been a long time since I've seen that on a nude dancer. Maybe my memory is bad.

Mostly I sat at the bar and observed. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive which was a nice contrast to time spent at Jags. The servers and bartenders were all smiling. Even one of the security guys said something one of the times he passed by. I'm not going to go as far as complaining about service at my preferred clubs but it was really great to see the warm attitude.

The dancers were generally very attractive. It probably leans toward thin, white girls though that's really not a problem for me. It was really an even mix of enhanced vs non-enhanced. I didn't spot any of the exotic girls mentioned in a previous post. The DJ was a little hard to understand when I tried to catch some of the girls' names. A lot of dancers were also smiling my way and that might have been their invitation to stop one of them. As it was, none of them tried to engage me and I didn't necessarily want that. I'm confident that taking a floor seat would have opened the door.

Before I took off I popped back into the nude side for just a few minutes which was enough time for a guy to come over and inform me that I needed to buy a drink. Since I was headed out I didn't want one and so I just left. Although he wasn't rude I don't really feel that I should have to buy a non-alcoholic drink especially after I've already spent money on the other side. That was the biggest negative mark.I like C Folds because it's on the way home from work and they don't charge until 8 pm. I'm more of a daytime, early evening guy so I can't speak on the night time festivities. But the exotic dancers I've mentioned I think work during the day and may stay until 10 pm. I know the mix black and white one Nu Nu works late. Pretty girl, but can have a funky attitude at times. The others don't stay late I think, unless maybe the weekend.

For a while I was seeing Chanel a lot so I think she might have changed her schedule up. Can't really offer advice on when to catch her.

She has never exuded much warmth to me and I've never gotten any dances. I've caught her a few times in street clothes and she looks really great in those too. Without the heels she's very petite. She also chopped off a lot of that long hair that she used to have. And It's interesting that she doesn't identify with the rest of Club Cubana.

I've thought about posting my thoughts about her several times except that it just never seemed to add up to much of anything useful.I visited Bandaids last Saturday early afternoon. I have never been on a Saturday before, but thought I might see some new talent. I sat at the bar nursing a brewnoggin for most of an hour without seeing any interesting dancers. There were several latina dancers who all looked oddly the same (maybe the effect of the 2nd brewnoggin).

I finally decided to visit the main room before I left. I noticed this very thin dancer working a guy on the south wall. From across the room she appeared to be a black girl.The DJ called out Chanel to the #1 stage and this girl gets up there. All I can say is WOW!.

Unfortunately my time was up, had to leave wishing I could have had a few dances with her. She obviously had a full dance card.

I never see her early afternoons weekdays, but will make a point of getting a fix on her schedule.

Unfortunately so many dancers come & go. They will tell you they work every day, but then you never see them again.

Anyone know the hours for Bones? On the FB page said opened up at 12 (on Saturdays at least). Tried to call the # on the fb page to verify (figuring it would just be a recording of hours anyway) and number did not work. Then I had some stuff to do in the area / neighboring area anyway. Went down at 1 and closed, got the other stuff done by 3 thinking they would definitely be open by then and went back. Still closed! I still do want to check it out, but am more of a daytime shift guy. Is there an afternoon shift that anyone knows about? Maybe it was just an odd day. This was last Saturday the 30th. I did see the guy driving the Skin van and asked him if they were open (this was at 1) and he was just like don't know just switching vehicles. Oh well you win some, you lose some. And at least I did see one very HOT girl. She was going into Triangles! Wonder if she was a Bones or Skin dancer probably laughing at me since I did stand outside for a couple of minutes!

I'll answer my own question, but I'm not talking to myself. No really I'm not. Or am I?

Just kidding. Anyway on the fb page when I checked yesterday it said (off to the side) we are now open 7 days a week starting at 9 PM (it still says open at 12 in the hours section). That is not what I was hoping for, but oh well. Not really my thing to pay a $20 dollar cover (plus the thought of possible valet / valet charges).

I prefer days at clubs as I don't really like huge, fight for a seat at strip club kind of crowds. And that parking lot is small. But I might check it out when it's not so "new". Maybe by the end of the year they'll even expand the hours! One can always hope. I hate all the rap and hip hop in the strip clubs, but the Flame has been much better in that regard the last two times I've been in at least (February and recently).

Not to throw bones at any potential excitement about this club, but the strip club activities will still be governed by the Puritanical City of Scottsdale.

I suspect that adding live music to this location is planned to generate some $ for the owners.

The only 2 clubs I've been able to enjoy up here are hiliter and bourbon st.
Both had some sweet women and some playful action in the VIP section. Hiliter was suggested to me by 2 dancers I met I tucson who became regular outside friends. I never did run into them at the club though.IMO there's almost nothing objective about SCs. You found two clubs that work for you. BSC is usually my last choice for clubs but some other folks thinks it's the greatest (I'm talking about you Bigtim47 - grin). OTOH, I would prefer BSC to dealing with the a-hole manager / bartender at Sugar 44 who acts like he's doing me a favor by filing my drink order.

The clubs in scottsdale have hot women but nothing ever comes of it. Pun intended.I think many here would agree with your opinion, but you only need to look back a couple of posts to see that someone here likes them. That's OK. There are people here who don't like my preferred clubs.

Our clubs in tucson are much more fun. You have the better massage parlors and sweeter selection of BP honies.Interesting to hear. I always like hearing opinions and updates on clubs.

Changing popular music tastes and infiltration of "urban" music. There's a heavy concentration of Hip Hop / Rap at clubs like Chicas, Essex, T&A, and Exotica. The clubs and DJs pay attention the local demographics. Those last few are heavy on the Hip Hop but Chicas has a big rotation of Latin banda.

Some Bandaids DJs will pay very close attention to the current mix of customers. They also try to please the dancers, so the latina on the main stage might get a nice spanish language song in the Reggaeton style but one of the black dancers might get some urban.

After the big remodel and rebranding at Sugar 44, at least one DJ there played what I'll call "hipster" club music.

Various comments.

I think Bones is appealing to a slice of the Scottsdale demographics. There is a younger segment that comes to the Valley and they like Rock and Roll but the older demographic are the ones who will say "Honey, I'm going out with the boys and we're going to a Rock and Roll club".

Also, only a years ago, the owner of Bandaids discouraged the DJs from playing Hip Hop. Now it's a big part of the mix. BTW, the Bandaids DJs will often take requests. Just walk up the DJ stage and ask. I put a couple of bucks in the tip jar. Not long ago, I asked for Depeche Mode "Enjoy the Silence", then something more current, Polica's "Chain my name", but I probably crossed a line with Roxy music's "More than this". One of my faves said it was difficult to dance to.

About ten years ago, I was sitting at a table in the Hi Liter and the DJ played UB40's version of "Red, Red Wine". I was drunk and walked up to thank him. He said that he had to persuade the dancer taking the stage that he would play a nice song (the one I'm referring to), and she reluctantly accepted it. (oh what is this, or that, generation coming to? (smile)

I like a variety: I thank God for being exposed to Don Omar and Reggaeton enough to add them to my music collection. That being said, I would suggest that the pendulum has swung too far in one direction. There is tons of new and interesting music outside the Urban / Hip Hop genre but the DJs aren't playing it. OTOH, the DJs are playing what's popular and fitting the demographic for the local club.

The demographics would be different for Nashville and Minnesota. I would be interested in hearing from Bigtime47 about the music in rotation in the latter.

Also, regular denizens of Desert Flame: what music is regularly played out in Apache Junction ?

Gentlemen,

Higgs wants me to comment on the music played at strip clubs. I'm afraid I'm not the one to ask. Like Sargent Schultz said, "I know nothing" For me the music stopped in 1970. As a child of the '50's and '60's, that was the heyday of music that I know. So I put up with today's tunes. All the songs that Higgs mentioned are alien to my recollection. Sorry, I guess I'm not a "hip cat". I go to clubs for the dancers, and put up with the music. However, I do believe that the style of music played caters to the crowd that the club is targeting.

The music played at Bourbon, my favorite club, suits me fine. Some Rolling Stones, a Jimi Hendrix, "foxy lady", etc, now and then. And yes the "Girls, Girls, . " suits me fine also, no matter how cheesy some my think it is. At 9 PM I get to see most of the possible talent for the evening. Most DJ's suck, though, and are hard to understand. They play the role of a cool radio DJ, and fail to enunciate properly when naming the dancers. Pet peeve of mine.

The music at Desert Flame is typical of most clubs, but way, way too loud for the size of the room. I can only be in the dance room for a while before I have to retreat to the bar area. Another peeve is the foul language of rap crap. I go into a gentleman's club, and try to follow the rules they have and act like a gentleman. I find the F bombs and the like to be disrespectful to the dancers. But maybe I'm too old fashion or maybe it's not a gentleman's club.

The music at the club I generally go to in MN is basically all new stuff, as the dancers get to pick out their own songs. The DJ is a good friend of mine, and is the best I have heard, as he worked at regular radio stations for many years. He works hard promoting the dancers after their set on stage. I usually spend most of mine time there visiting with the DJ in the upper booth, talking, arguing about sports, porn, politics and the like, in between songs. Their music library is somewhat limited as they only subscribe to one of the royalty sites, like ASCAP, I believe. Do all clubs pay these fees??

Years ago at a well know Twin Cites club, I heard strange songs that I have never heard at any other clubs, like Dave Dudley's truck driving song, "Six days on the road! Can anyone dance to that? So what are some of the other crazy songs that anyone else has ever heard at a strip club?

So I went to Bandaids for the fight last Saturday. I was hoping for the turn out like last time, but I was really disappointed. It wasn't even crowded. You can get a seat easy. The crowd picked up later on but the fight was already over.

The dancers were nothing like the ones like last time. The only bright spot was Sin who waitress and also dances. But I was ready to go till I saw this beautiful Half Black, Mexican chick. Wow. Reminded me of Miami. I forgot her name mainly because of the you call its and the blaring music.

Last trip to phx a few months ago I headed to the good old Hi-Liter. Really hot asian dancer busy all night, took in a few tabled dances until a xanax'd out hispanic girl won my attention by grabbing my package aggressively during the dance (can't remember her name but she had glasses). Went for the VIP and she stroked me to completion with no tip discussion (actually she talked about being a pet lover mostly until it got serious). OK atmosphere and service, what do the monger-leaning folks on this board favor for a strip club with HE experience? Don't want to get suckered in a champagne room scheme like a Dream Palace (at least back in the day STAY CLEAR).

I was standing alone and headed to BM as it has always been reliable. Gorgeous (ethopian?) black girl with big hair who I've seen around a couple times is interested. Do a lap dance but things are a bit too comfortable as I've seen her at a popular area coffee shop. Move on quickly and the next girl (one of several hot black girls) goes straight to telling me she will give me HE or (B?) BJ for 20 and 40 respectively. Not sure if I mentioned this but I was at Jags and I asked the manager when are they going to bring back the regular tables instead of the high top tables. He looked at me and seemed slightly pissed and said "NOT going to HAPPEN". I laughed loud and walked out.

It's a shame. That was really a VIP section without paying $20 or so a song. Had lots a fun but a guess a few others did to which sparked the change too high tops.

I usually go to Bandaids, but was getting a little bored with their lineup. I had never been down to Chicas until last week. I have been back 3 times since! I have gone on a Tue, Wed and Mon afternoon. No cover, bottle of water is $5. 00. I like the mellow vibe of the place. I LOVE the dances here. $10.00 in the little booths / couches along the wall. Plenty of privacy and very liberal touching policy. Have not had a bad dance yet. Had dances from Rosie (shorter hispanic lady, mid to late 30's, huge 36 FFF tits!. Natural! Alissa? (thick white girl, huge tits, looks hispanic a bit), Kayla (kind of looks like Khloe Kardashian, thick with a nice ass, younger, also works at Jaguars), Elijah (Filipina and Mexican, nice tits, friendly personality) and Chloe (Mid 20's, tall, light skinned Mexican, great pierced rack, great legs). Like I said earlier, have not had a bad dance yet! This is going to be my regular club going forward. They don't clip songs, manager is laid back and cool, and there are plenty of girls with huge, natural tits! Only seen one white girl here (Alissa), the rest are either Hispanic or Black. If that is your thing, Chicas can't be missed! Can't wait to go tomorrow after work!

The ASCAP and related organizations supposedly have people who visit places and "stick it" to places who don't comply with the rules. Many years ago I was in a small casual restaurant in Sedona and I liked the song that was playing. I asked the owner what band it was and he asked if I was with ASCAP. I understand business pay annual license fees to ASCAP and other organizations and they can play almost anything.

Some DJs are very careful about these things. I was at the Pink Rhino one early evening a few years ago before the crowd showed up and the only dancer present told me to request a song with the DJ who was using YouTube as a music source. Well, I had The Stranglers running through my head, so I requested a particular video (do a search on YouTube for "Stranglers London Lady First Pogo" An obvious home video of a baby dangling from a door jamb with Grandpa's recording of the Strangler's London Lady playing. The DJ's question was: "Is this an official video", meaning was it released under the auspices of the group that owns the rights. Obviously not, but Grandpa was having fun reliving his days on the dance floor through his grandchild. The DJ didn't play that song.

Quick and disjointed overview of the previous month.

Newbie80 and I got together one night at a standard bar to get caught up on things and cry out: "When is Bigtim47 returning to Phoenix?" We then debated what to do next. Not surprisingly, the subject of strip clubs arose. I suggested VLive (formerly Xecutive) but Newbie80 made a pitch for Essex, probably my second favorite club. It didn't take much convincing. At Essex he found a dancer who split time between that club and Bandaids. I was hunted down and subdued by Honey, who went by Beautiful at Chicas.

One Saturday evening, I swung by VLive (formerly Xecutive) around 8:30. Previously, not much would be happening at that time but I'd have a beverage or two while waiting for the dancers to get dressed. This evening I found the front door not yet open but the security guys were hanging out in one corner of the parking lot. (more on VLive below). Decided I wasn't going to hang around to wait.

Hanging out and visiting some clubs in support of my faves:

Exotica has had some interesting dancers. (Warning: they often close up early on Monday nights.) The place is fairly dead most evenings, perhaps 4-6 dancers and a few customers show up, stay awhile, leave, and are replaced by other customers. Maybe one or two dancers are white, the rest black. Half of the dancers are very hot: typically a couple of them have that very fit, but not muscular, build which I like. Not fitting that description is Karma who has a beautiful booty and a / b breasts. Pretty face. Look for her mostly during the day. I was lucky, catching her there on a couple of nights. One night there was a dancer, name unknown, who had some of the largest and beautiful natural breasts I've even seen. Note to the daytime club enthusiasts: dancers there told me that Exotica is very busy during the day. One of my faves who is constantly looking for the pot of gold, found out that Exotica is crammed full of dancers in the daytime but "only" about 20 customers at one time. That's the dancer viewpoint.

One of my faves wanted to survey the situation at local clubs. She called VLive and she was told that the cover charge on a Saturday was $35 (She's so considerate, she vetoed the idea of me paying for the cover for both of us at VLive. We went to Chicas instead. (I appreciate Hambone78's review. Here's another perspective). This fave used to be a regular dancer at Chicas before it went full Latino. We went in on a Saturday night. The music volume was overwhelmingly loud. I can tolerate most music but my fave was not happy with the Banda music or the volume. It's quite overpowering. The black dancers were trying to leave. The latino customers typically don't tip the stage dancers very well and I didn't see a lot of table dances. As the black dancers tried to leave in their street clothes, the management would persuade then to stay. My fave and I decided to move on.

Azul has returned with reinforcements, I mean, enhancements. She was small before and did not go outrageously large.

Another gentleman had told me that Kelly has moved on to another club. I think he said Centerfolds but I managed to not care enough to remember it. I believe he referred to her as something like "Kelly, you know the one who was rude to everybody".

I've had run into several Bandaids girls talking about trying out Centerfolds. I assume that several of them decided to stay over there. Maybe you should head there if you're looking for one if them. But watch out for the aforementioned blonde.

Got off work early yesterday (Friday, June 3rd) and decided to head down to Chicas. Much more crowded than my previous visits. It was definitely a pay day as a lot of people were packed in there. Got my water for $5. 00 and then took a seat. As soon as I sat down, the DJ called every girl up to the stage for a "showcase" and then did "2 dances for $5. 00 each". I got dances with Alissa. The songs were clipped though and barely seemed like even one song. The ol razzle dazzle. Think you are getting a good deal, but it turns out that the 2 song "special" is really about the length of one regular song. Saw a few new girls in there today, none that really appealed to me. There were quite a few more black dancers today. I spoke with a girl named "Kitty" for awhile. Didn't get a dance from her, but she was friendly and we shot the shit for a few. Decided that I wanted to head over to Bandaids so I got in my car and went.

Bandaids- Got there around 4:30. $6. 00 cover. Anyone know what time they start charging that cover? The lady taking the cover at the front has HUGE tits. Wish she would dance! Anyways. It was pretty crowded in there and I got my water and went to stand under the arch leading to the back room and the white dude security guard told me that I couldn't stand there (first time I've been told that). I move, and then he proceeds to stand there. WTF? Anyways. Saw the usual suspects there (Cuban clan, Estrella, a couple others I have seen before). I was standing by the 2nd stage (below the DJ) and tipped one of the Cuban girls. Black hair, younger, skinny, nice B cup tits. Told me her name, but forgot it already (I want to say its Monica? According to Grand Jury indictment two officers interfered with a drug investigation of employees and patrons of Essex.

The pair are accused of warning employees and customers at the club of "impending discovery, apprehension, prosecution or conviction," according to the indictment filed Maricopa County Superior Court.

The investigation involved sale or transport of narcotics. The indictment specifically mentions marijuana as a target of detectives. It is unclear if other illegal substances were also a part of the case.

The two officers have resigned according to abc15 news.

Fox 10 reports:

Documents show Officers xx and xxx tipped off club employees that detectives were about to move in on the club involving a drug investigation.

Phoenix Police Chief Joe xxx says he is extremely disappointed by their action.

The Essex club previously had a deadly shooting in December of 2015 in which two men were shot, one killed.

I was in the area for a few days, including last weekend. While there I went to see one of my old favorite places. While there, I had a nice time where I had plenty of attention from the ladies without them being too intrusive. Anyway, I had a couple of dances with a nice asian lady, I think from the Philippines. My interest being perked by a few recent posts, I visited this establishment last Thursday, early afternoon. I entered and sat at the bar. Pretty quiet inside. Visited again this afternoon. The parking lot was nearly full. Unfortunately most of the vehicles belonged to patrons who were playing pool.

That Essex place had a shooting in the Winter and apparently there have been numerous shootings in Maryvale in the last several months. Probably gang related or illegal immigrants or both. The government policies have seen to it that felons and gang members are the only ones allowed to have weapons.

6/22/2016 - Phoenix police served a search warrant early Wednesday morning to a strip club under suspicion for prostitution.

The Sunset Strip on University Avenue was raided by police around 7 am.

The raid damaged parts of the building and witnesses say shut down University Avenue for some time.

"We got in this morning and everything was blocked, can't get in," said xxxxxx who owns the auto repair shop next door.

He said the adult entertainment club has been a longtime staple on University Avenue.

He said that he's met the owner of the Sunset Strip and doesn't believe anything illegal was happening inside.

Police say at least five people were transported and questioned by police. None of them appeared to be underage, officers said.

No word on how many people were officially arrested or if the owner will face charges.

Chicas is getting a lot of positive press on here so I'll pass this along. They're having a "Customer Appreciation Day" on Thursday. Penny drinks and dollar table dances and a two thousand dollars in prizes. I guess if you were already going to go it might be worth shooting for that day.Did anyone check this out? Frankly, I'm very skeptical about "customer appreciation days". The Hi Liter used to have them on occasion, promoting table dances for only $5. In reality the DJ would cut the songs to 2 minutes or less. IMO all it did was to promote customer cynicism.

We're way into the Summer service industry slowdown. It's my belief the strip clubs have had declining attendance every year and have never recovered from the housing bubble. Dancers were complaining before the summer and now it's gotten even worse. About three weeks ago I was at Bandaids and a dancer I know was complaining and venting about things including her perception that certain groups of dancers were give special treatment by management. I doubt that is true but she was definitely worked up and inside of 15 minutes almost went toe-to-toe with another dancer. One of the security guys had to step between them.

My take: if you have particular favorites among dancers, your generosity may help her make it through the Summer. They have the same rent to pay even when things get slower.

No matter what club you go to, it will probably be busiest on Friday afternoons. I have been tempted by DN and others who reported about good things at Centerfolds. I've had some nice experiences with dancers there in the past but sometimes it's been a dud which was the case on an evening a couple of months ago.

Recent economic reports support the premise that Arizona lags behind most of the US in recovering from the Great Recession. I expect Fox's, or any renamed club in that location to stay empty. Personally, I don't see how Dirty's stays in business. Competition in the vicinity from ABC to the south and Essex to the west is intense in that area.

Say what you want about Chicas and Essex, they're each focusing on core but separate groups of customers. They go to Chicas for the banda music and larger dancers and go to Essex for the hip hop / urban sounds and booty. At Essex you'll see people "make it rain" for the dancers on stage, at Chicas, well, most of the latinos will just stare and drink their coronas. If a dancer is lucky at Chicas she'll find a regular or two.

Back to Bandaids, someone here referred to a security guy who gave our hero a hard time for standing at the entrance to the lounge area. That was probably Matt who is a bit of a stickler for rules and decorum. One evening I sat on the edge of the unused DJ stage because there were no open seats or stools. He arrived for work and informed me that this was not permitted. The DJ intervened. Most of the security guys at Bandaids are pretty nice if you take a moment to say hi. Matt seems to lack certain social courtesies.

I was at Bandaids around 10:30 PM Saturday night and things were dead in the lounge area. Just peering in from the entrance, there were several dancers who perked up when I appeared, one inviting me to have a seat. There were a couple of interesting dancers but I joined one of my faves at the bar.

So if the club offered sexual conduct in exchange for money then it is a criminal enterprise. I think its good that they shut it down because it and other clubs along that corridor are rip off places. (Except the studio. Which was in the neighborhood but was not a ripoff). At least they shut it down due to it ripping off hobbyists.

Got out of work early on Friday and headed down to Chicas. Fridays are packed! No parking of course, but then the security guard had one "VIP spot" open for $5. 00 (traffic cone blocking the spot, he moved it for me) and I took it. What is odd is nothing that looks related has showed up on Joe's site. I believe Sunset is in Phoenix (not Tempe) and reports were Phoenix PD. So booking should be done by the Sheriff.

Unless they were only able to charge as adult entertainment violation (like for swing clubs), it should show up and since it would most likely be a felony I am looking for names so I can follow the case in Superior Court which is full of felony prostitution cases I'm trying to keep up with but am way behind.

It is possible there is no mug shot yet if Phoenix bypassed the direct complaint and instead from evidence found from all the records taken the State is going for an initial Grand Jury indictment which could name many more than just those mentioned in the media reports. This would explain why mug shots didn't show up. If it goes that way, defendants may voluntary surrender and avoid being arrested with mug shots.

In most cases, initial arrests are made on a direct complaint and then an intervening indictment with more charges and often more defendants from the records obtained by search warrant during the initial raid.

The problem is indictments are sealed until arrests. I had long discussions in the Temple case that thought he was maybe in the indictment since name was in order between a those arrested but his name was not shown in the records. His attorney was only able to find out it was him with attorney's informal meeting in the hallway discussion with the prosecutor. Fortunately, he was one of only two in the 39 indicted that his charges were dropped before he was arrested.

Thanks to someone here, I have the name of the owner so can watch the court records for him. However, if indicted his name will not show up until arrested.

My visits have been infrequent but I can't recall seeing any more than 20 customers at one time. The floor plan is very odd. It makes me wonder if it was something else before a strip club. The location could just as well be a future used car lot as anything else. Look at all that parking.

This section: Outdoor work crew hours, seasonal work, the Arizona economy, why strip club dancers dance.

I thought it was strange how this is a daytime club till they said most of the construction workers get off like 1 here. Here in the Sonoran Desert, the companies with outdoors workers typically assemble the crews while it's still dark. This includes building and construction trades, the landscapers, and road repair crews. The idea is to finish the work day before the hottest time of the day. This is why you'll find the crews down at Chicas still dressed in their work clothes at 1 or 2 PM.

I never been to a city where the strip clubs were slow in the Summer. I've heard it was because of the Snow birds going back and people going on vacation, but for it to be that slow is crazy.All the Phoenix area service industries take a hit in the Summer. This includes hotels, restaurants, the resorts, the rye-seeded golf courses, taxis, etc. It's a combination of the exodus of the long term seasonal residents who come to escape the winter climate elsewhere, the absence of vacationers from other states, and Phoenix residents going elsewhere for vacation. I like to say that people don't come to Phoenix for Summer vacation, they LEAVE Phoenix for Summer vacation.

Seems like dancers should try to put some money away for the summer time since it's so slow.This is a problem for many seasonal workers and especially those on the lower rungs of the economy. It's not easy to do for most dancers. The reality is, the regular dancers aren't doing this as a hobby or personal excitement. Sorry to disappoint you guys. Some do it to supplement other income but for many it's their sole income. Many are struggling just to pay rent and barely keep up with the other bills. Many come from disadvantaged backgrounds or situations. Keep your ears open, listen, and you'll discover many are single mothers. My dancer contacts tell me stories about women breaking into tears because the rent or utility bill is already overdue. Most dancers work hard, are honest and many put lots of time and thought into the work. Some, not as much.

Part of this situation is due to the peculiarities of the Phoenix area. Arizona lags the rest of the country in economic recovery, the State has done little to support education (or even withdrawn support), and done little to keep low income families from failure. Children from low income families were denied healthcare for a long time due to the AZ Senate. The AZ Legislature cut assistance for low income families from two years to one year. While women might try dancing for income, the rest of the populace doesn't have the money to spend at the clubs. The housing industry collapse in Arizona really did a number on the economy and the tech industry here is waning. Witness the cutbacks at a certain well-known technology company in Chandler {Int*l} Another large technology company {H*oneyw*ll} based in Phoenix laid off workers and is asking all employees to take unpaid furloughs. The airline US A*rways had its HQ here but moved to Dallas after it bought the other airline. Those much lauded Silicon Valley companies coming to the Phoenix / Scottsdale area do not employ a lot of people. It's to be seen how much the big insurance company moving to Tempe will boost the economy but it's not a bad thing. Overall, we're still stuck in the seasonal patterns of Winter flush and Summer bust. The road construction crews at Chicas don't spend much money. So we have lots of women looking for earnings and not enough males to spend money at the clubs.

The big highlight (setting up a pun), may be one club: the Hi Liter. I had to pass the club several times on Thursday before the 4th of July holiday. The parking lot was full from 3 PM to 8 PM, and again after 9 PM. In my observations, the club attracts a lot of white collar workers, the people who can take 4 day weekends.

Probably at least 10 Cuban girls at Jags now. They hire a lot of ladies over there that aren't exactly my type but for some reason I still pop in occasionally to check it out. Not necessarily an endorsement of dancers or attitude, this group is overall very hot, IMHO, with a couple in particular that really push the average up. One is decent with English. As far as I can tell, the others not so much.Wow Cuban invasion in AZ in the strip clubs looks like. Didn't care for them in Miami, so I won't be partaking unless it's the mulatto ones. I went to Jags this past Saturday during the day and spent some time with a Half Puerto Rican / Filipina. Very sexy. Due to being in the Valley for awhile, you guys get credit for for the 101 and 102 parts of this program unless you still don't know Avenues versus Streets. Then you get sent back to remedial.

This section: Outdoor work crew hours, seasonal work, the Arizona economy, why strip club dancers dance.

Here in the Sonoran Desert, the companies with outdoors workers typically assemble the crews while it's still dark. This includes building and construction trades, the landscapers, and road repair crews. The idea is to finish the work day before the hottest time of the day. This is why you'll find the crews down at Chicas still dressed in their work clothes at 1 or 2 PM.

All the Phoenix area service industries take a hit in the Summer. This includes hotels, restaurants, the resorts, the rye-seeded golf courses, taxis, etc. It's a combination of the exodus of the long term seasonal residents who come to escape the winter climate elsewhere, the absence of vacationers from other states, and Phoenix residents going elsewhere for vacation. I like to say that people don't come to Phoenix for Summer vacation, they LEAVE Phoenix for Summer vacation.

This is a problem for many seasonal workers and especially those on the lower rungs of the economy. It's not easy to do for most dancers. The reality is, the regular dancers aren't doing this as a hobby or personal excitement. Sorry to disappoint you guys. Some do it to supplement other income but for many it's their sole income. Many are struggling just to pay rent and barely keep up with the other bills. Many come from disadvantaged backgrounds or situations. Keep your ears open, listen, and you'll discover many are single mothers. My dancer contacts tell me stories about women breaking into tears because the rent or utility bill is already overdue. Most dancers work hard, are honest and many put lots of time and thought into the work. Some, not as much.

Part of this situation is due to the peculiarities of the Phoenix area. Arizona lags the rest of the country in economic recovery, the State has done little to support education (or even withdrawn support), and done little to keep low income families from failure. Children from low income families were denied healthcare for a long time due to the AZ Senate. The AZ Legislature cut assistance for low income families from two years to one year. While women might try dancing for income, the rest of the populace doesn't have the money to spend at the clubs. The housing industry collapse in Arizona really did a number on the economy and the tech industry here is waning. Witness the cutbacks at a certain well-known technology company in Chandler {Int*l} Another large technology company {H*oneyw*ll} based in Phoenix laid off workers and is asking all employees to take unpaid furloughs. The airline US A*rways had its HQ here but moved to Dallas after it bought the other airline. Those much lauded Silicon Valley companies coming to the Phoenix / Scottsdale area do not employ a lot of people. It's to be seen how much the big insurance company moving to Tempe will boost the economy but it's not a bad thing. Overall, we're still stuck in the seasonal patterns of Winter flush and Summer bust. The road construction crews at Chicas don't spend much money. So we have lots of women looking for earnings and not enough males to spend money at the clubs.

The big highlight (setting up a pun), may be one club: the Hi Liter. I had to pass the club several times on Thursday before the 4th of July holiday. The parking lot was full from 3 PM to 8 PM, and again after 9 PM. In my observations, the club attracts a lot of white collar workers, the people who can take 4 day weekends.

Higgs.Thanks for the insight about the summers here in Phoenix. So true, I never heard of anybody flocking to Phx in the summer for vacation, so this makes a ton of sense. I know this might sound bad, but I don't have a bleeding heart for dancers. Ha ha. I mean I know plenty of single mothers hustling that 9 to 5 and even getting a part time gig on top of that. So when they complain that it's slow, seems to me they should venture into something else. I remember one dancer told me she made $200 for the whole day and worked 2 pm To 2 am You have to really ask yourself is it worth it.

Another surprising thing was that quite a few dancers have a regular 9 to 5 and dance part time. That is something new to me, because most dancers I know from where I am from just dance. So it explains the mad looks I got when I first got here when I asked about extras with some dancers. LOL.

I went to Hilighter Saturday during the day and it was pretty calm. Saw this dancer I always call Asian Booty since I can never remember her name. Ha ha. The drinks have went up a lot also.

I never been to a city where the strip clubs were slow in the Summer. I've heard it was because of the Snow birds going back and people going on vacation, but for it to be that slow is crazy.I happened to drive past Bandaids early evening on July 4. The VIP parking area where management and dancers park their cars was full. The rest of the lot was empty. It's a typical family BBQ stay at home holiday but in most cities there would still be enough customers to put a few customer cars in the parking lot. I wish I could have stopped by myself but I had other obligations.

I passed by Fox's a couple of times today {Friday} and it appears something is going on. The first time there was a flat bed work truck with a large SUV. The second time there were about three or four SUVs parked next to the club. It may be prepping to open again. They better have something fantastic. Last time the manager was previously at Xecutive and called in favors with some really nice dancers from that club. That lasted about a week and the dancers left for more productive clubs. Considering the changes at Xecutive {now VLive, with supposedly model level dancers} that approach might be interesting. Starting during the summer might be tough. One of the previous Fox's revivals, the owner / manager had some promo arrangement with a local radio station with people showing up on a party bus. It looked pretty busy for awhile, then died.

Bigtim47, we need to add this to your list. You probably won't like the music or the dancers but it will propel you to 200 clubs.

T&A is open if anybody wanted to know. I hear that only one dancer (referred to as "an employee" in the news video) was hurt. So maybe it wasn't two after all and neither story got it quite right.

I agree with the assessment of declining business. I keep hearing about bleak Friday and Saturday nights at Bandaids. Dancers have their own biases when it comes to "there's nobody here" but I take the servers' and bartenders' comments as a better gauge.

And about rude security and the entryway: Back several years ago it would get pretty crowded on a typical Friday afternoon. There would be no seats and a big jam around the doorway. The whole idea of keeping it clear makes sense, the servers to be able to get through and without dumping a tray of drinks, yet it's hard to get around the reality that the place just isn't huge. (I've both received and witnessed attitude even when the place is nearly empty too.) Maybe next time it's that busy they'll remember it's a nice problem to have, especially after they've collected the door fee and let all those guys inside in the first place. And on that note, several guys have told me they were surprised to have to pay to get in early on Fridays. Looks like they've been consistently starting up at 3 the past month or two.

As for sitting on the stage, I've had girls try to get me to sit down next to them and I was always confident that would quickly get me in trouble. Pretty sure there's a city ordinance that only permits dancers to be up there. Of course there are other ordinances they don't exactly follow to the letter. Maybe insurance is a factor too? A lot of girls climb on and off the stage without using the steps and the rail and I've wondered about it. Honestly, I think I've seen more falls from the stairs though.

And related to that I'm hearing that they've been more strict on rules lately. Supposedly they're looking to a purchase of another club in town that had some legal troubles and it sounds like they're braced for some scrutiny of the potential buyers. I did see some of security getting on dancers for small things, nothing on the patrons though. It does definitely appear there's more hovering over VIP going on though. Maybe not even connected but there are some other ways they've tightened up on security the past two months or so that I could name.

Bourbon Street- on about 28th and Thomas. Just north of downtown. Is the safest club to bring along a girlfriend. Beautiful, fit dancers. Although many mongers will say too many injected boobies. Reasonably priced drinks, and private dances in the upper area in the back for $20. That fits my needs in a strip club. Not sure how busy it is in the summer, or the dancer line-up, as I'm only a part time snow bird.

Report back with your observations on whatever clubs that you go to. Any and all information is appreciated.

I went to Skin a while back and the girls did rub breasts on my face during a dance. I ended up with a runny nose the next day due to germs collecting on breasts from prior customers so I don't recommend the table dance and its much safer to just get a BJ I think so I think the City of Scottsdale may be on to something with the no touching law.

Higgs.Don't get me wrong I love petite, but fake boobs and flat booty's are a no no in my book, but to each is own. I went to this club twice and it's not for me, but those drink specials are phenomenal. The second time I went, I was rekindled with on of my ATF from Tootsies. Couldn't believe that Venezuelan dime piece was out here in Phoenix and had such a good time with her. Outside the club of course. *grins widely* No flat booty and all natural.

It was becoming my favorite, but it fell off. The reason being is because no real rotation with the women. I stopped going there for about a month and a half and I see the same ol girls. I guess they like keeping the same nucleus and sprinkle a few new girls that don't stay very long.

Went last night and stayed about an hour and left.

I still would like to thank all of you who have saved me time and money but not going to Scottsdale clubs. I sincerely appreciate your reports. From the sounds of it. I think any Scottsdale club would be girlfriend friendly.

I'm going to patronize the dancers I like and find attractive. Not some hag with fake boobs who can't even be pleasant.

Wedesday evening I stopped by Bandaids for a quick stop on the way to elsewhere. I was a little surprised they were asking for a $6 cover when the place was almost empty. Since I was literally stopping by for about 15 minutes, I decided to use one of the passes I received a week earlier. Stayed long enough to place a few bucks in the side of the thong of one of my faves when she took the stage.

The same evening, I walked to the end of the bar and almost bumped into a woman in street clothes and her face was incredibly familiar. She said she'd go back to the dressing room and remove her clothes so I'd recognize her. Though I think she decided the club's attendance wasn't worth her changing into costume, I realized it was Cash / Cache, who I hadn't seen for about 9 or 10 months.

On recent discussion on rules and security, it seems to run in cycles. Manager Dale and security guy Matt can be a bit rigid in enforcing rules. Most of the security guys are easy going as long as you treat dancers with respect. Dave was angry with security guy Damian for quite a while. Damian could be sort of strict but has not been there for a long time.

Referring to our earlier discussion about posted signs on drugs on premises, no re-admittance, etc. Bandaids keeps things safe and secure. I have never seen or heard of a uniformed police officer making a visit in or outside the club, and I'm not aware of any "situations" beyond a customer deciding to take on the security guys. They are quickly escorted out. The security guys have stated that the pictures of trouble-makers are shared between the 3 sister clubs and they are banned from all three.

IMO, the posted door sign about no re-admittance makes a lot of sense. Really, just what might a strip club management think is going on if groups of customers are repeatedly visiting a car in the parking lot? Speaking of parking lot, there is always a security guy making the rounds out there, and they will escort a dancer to her car if requested.

The ownership of the three sister clubs are in this for the long haul and take a lot of precautions. If you haven't noticed the mirror opposite the Bandaids bar, the text says "established 1969". I doubt any other club in the Phoenix area can claim that longevity. I'm sure the ownership had conniptions with the recent incidents at Essex and the Hi Liter but that's nothing compared to what has happened at other clubs.

Then some of entitlement issues like you should be there often and give them money, not take breaks. Ha ha. The one that just kills me is when they get mad if you get dances from other dancers. So let me get this straight. I'm only supposed to get dances from you, but it's ok for you to leave and get dances from other guys and don't come back unless I'm getting dances. Ha ha. Too funny.

Crazy you had that lip service from the older one, I would expect them to be the most quiet and willing to do anything for you since they have to compete against hot young tail. Cash is the light skinned black girl right? If it's the one I'm thinking of.

No we are definitely talking about the same Chanel. Mulatta meaning black and white mix which typically results in light complexion. She is Cuban. So basically there the white Cubans like you always see at Bandaids. Mulatta like Chanel, then fully black is how Cubans run. I haven't seen her in awhile. I like her.

I've never had any issues with security. I'm typically laughing and joking with them. Even if they come off as a little rough at first. Dale is pretty cool, but since I'm a day time guy mostly. Nick looks out for me. He isn't going to like me too much when my NFL plays his this year. LOL Also they are opening the Pink Rhino back up and maybe why this is one of the reasons they are being a little more strict.

Yeah Bandaids seems to be doing something right to be around that long. Definitely my fav spot out of all the clubs here.

I had picked up a stripper from work there (Sugar 44) a while back and we had to go to the McDonalds drive through. Never again. I was embarrassed by her arguing with the drive through worker.

After reading some reports about Westside clubs, I decided to visit Essex today. Actually a nice club. I entered early afternoon, and was the only customer. One dancer on stage was doing stretching and yoga positions.

I had a brew and decided to leave. But then the yoga girl 'Divine' came up to me and we chatted for awhile. I got the tour and there are some nice VIP rooms available with no entry fee. She was from Tucson and worked at Curves.

Next stop: Chicas. The place was packed. Paid the 5 bucks for VIP parking. I visited with a cute girl originally from the Marshall Islands but can't remember the name. Uneventful floor dances.

Then I noticed a tiny spinner black chick. She eventually came to my booth and we had a great time. Name was 'Viva'. Cute as all get out, sexy and works days. Made my trip worthwhile.

Man. I have to say this club is my favorite. It is definitely hit or miss. I was told the nights suck. I still go if I'm in the area. The club was barely full. Tonight had they had three sexy ladies that caught my eye. I'm trying to figure out how they get these girls to work here. They have a mean con game because these girls look better than a lot of clubs I've been to out here. Sky is a half black / white petite girl with a phat butt and cocoa complexion. Chandler SC that I have visited once before. Mid-Afternon, sat at the bar and ordered a brew.

I have to say that this a very nice club inside. Outside not so attractive.

One girl on stage who was ok but not my taste. When she was done she went to the bar and her 'date' eventually came in and they went to VIP.

They apparently have some seriously nice and dark VIP areas in this place. One other dancer was unattractive to me, but she went off to the VIP with a customer.

Probably when the 'urban carpet' moves closer to them, it could be a good place.

So that's it, two dancers 12 guys having beers and I am outa there.

My review of Chicas from Wed night 7/27. Deboinair, if you were there, we had to have crossed paths. I'm a tall white guy (probably gives me away right there, being at Chicas LOL) who was sporting a black hat. Cameron is definitely hot! All natural body, tall, smooth. Anyways. So. I had to pick up a family member at the airport, and had a few hours to kill. I decided to head on down here to Chicas. This was the first time I would come here at night. Always went in the daylight hours previously. I drove down and got there about 8:30 pm. I parked in the lot, and went inside. It was an $11.00 cover. I was also patted down before entering. About that. Even though this club is not in the nicest part of town, I felt completely safe at night. The pat down was very thorough and more hands on than any other place I have been to. They search your waistband, sides and legs really well. Also, all of the security guards I saw, had guns. After getting in there, I bought a water for $5. 00.

It wasn't too crowded at 8:30 with maybe 10 customers and 10 or so girls. A couple of the girls I had seen before, but there were some new ones, too. Nobody really spectacular. There was a girl named "Lollipop" who was pretty hot and probably the best looking of the bunch (Latina, fit body, fake tits) I chilled for about 30 minutes and saw a familiar face come out of the VIP area. It was my girl with the huge cannons, Rosie! She went in the back immediately after VIP and came out about 10 minutes later. I approached her, made our greeting and then went over to one of the booths. Had 6 dances with her and tipped her $20.00. I have said it before, and I will say it again. If you love big naturals, there are none better in Phoenix! Would love to see her outside the club. Chilled for about another hour, and then I was out. The place never got too crowded and it was pretty mellow. I like the vibe of the place. You can sit and chill if you want without being bothered, or you can get some attention for a few bucks with tips on the stage.

Chicas is slowly but surely becoming my favorite club in Phoenix! I'll be back soon enough.

So, if you have read my previous review (s) of Bandaids, you know that almost a year back, I had an epiphany to stop there. I was picking up my brother at the airport and had some time to kill, stopped in, saw my favorite dancer in all of Phoenix (Kaya. Didn't even know she worked here at the time) working, and had a good time. Fast forward to last night.

I was at Chicas earlier in the evening to kill some time before I had to pick up my mom at the airport. I left Chicas a bit early in order to head down to Lou Malnatis to grab a pizza (Chicago thin crust, sausage and onion. Not bad. Not bad) before heading to the airport. On my way down to Lou's, my mom called me and let me know that her flight was delayed, and that she was just leaving Los Angeles. A bit of a bummer, but it gave me an extra hour and a half to find something to do. I don't drink alcohol anymore, so a bar was out of the question. I only brought $140.00 with me for the night, and dropped about $100.00 at Chicas. After the pizza, I had about $24.00 left in my wallet. Figured, that I would hit Bandaids. Cover is $6. 00, water is $4. 50, I would have about $13.00 to throw a couple of ones if need be.

I like how Bandaids is super chill and you can just hang at the bar and watch Sportscenter if need be. The place was pretty dead. There were only 3 guys in the back room with the main stage, and a bunch of local guys hanging out in the far right corner of the bar near the entrance to the dressing room. I sipped my water, and chilled for awhile. I saw a few girls that looked ok (There were a lot of AA dancers tonight. Majority). I am more into Latina chicks, so I was waiting for someone to get up on the bar stage so that I could throw some singles. Lo and behold, the DJ announces this, "Kaya up next on the bar stage! What? Could it be? No fucking way! She comes out of the dressing room, and I start to smile. I will describe her again for those who have not read my previous reviews. Visited Bandaids today at 3 pm. Met at the door by a new guy who wanted to scan my DL. Over my objections as being a long time contributor to this dump, he refused to budge. Sunday night I decided to take a break from my usual hangout, Bandaids. My faves have been taking breaks during the summer slowdown.

I entered the club, was assessed a minor cover charge ($7, $8, I don't remember), and I proceeded to the bar to order, yes, a beverage. With my beverage in hand, I fell into conversation with a regular male customer seated nearby. I lamented that not many dancers were visible and my new acquaintance said something about them all being out on the smoking patio. (Surprise, surprise). We decided to head out there but on the way he paused to say hello to a dancer seated on a couch. Nice! Future wife material. I scrapped the patio visit and settled in next to this lovely woman who was named Trouble. Despite the name, she was very personable, sexy and nicely built. We closed down the club after conversation and a few dances on the $10 VIP couch. I found a reason to return to Dirty's very soon.

It appears that the VIP section at the HL has been completed. It's much more private now, it's floor level now and you can no longer peep in while walking past (or have someone peeping you from the wall seats). The walls are much higher now too (they added some dark plexiglass to the top of the walls) so people can't just peep over the top of them. $25 a dance there, well worth it with the right girl.I wonder how they comply with the in line of sight of a manager rule in the strip club ordinance. Hit both of these clubs on Saturday evening around 5. Quick hits and misses.

T&A- Got there, nobody at the door. Walked right in, no cover. Paid $4. 00 for a water and chilled in the back. Saw 3 dancers I would have loved to get dances from, but they were occupied the whole time there. Since the dances are so cheap here ($5. 00), girls get tied up in 4-8 song sets and are with the same customer FOREVER! Only stayed about 30 minutes, threw a couple of singles on the stage and then was out. While LE is aggressively going after massage places, companions / escorts they fortunately have for the most part left strip clubs alone.

The Phoenix ordinance was last changed in 2012 but nothing significant from the fight in 1999. It would be nice if the city is backing off on strip clubs because the purpose of the law was to protect "children, neighborhoods and morality". The morality part was determined not to be a legitimate basis for law in the Lawrence vs Texas Supreme Court case. However, it was a split 5-4 decision. If we get a new conservative replacement on the Court the 5-4 split on a similar issue could be the reverse.

In the long city counsel meeting that went late night in 1999 with probably 90% speaking against the new law (including myself), only the Christian Group and "church lades" supported it. But in the end the City passed it immediately with emergency label so would take effect immediately without the usual 90 day waiting period, including the outlawing of swing clubs which Club C challenged at the 9th Circuit and lost. I was on the legal committee of Club C.

The Christian group is still active helping thousands of city pass similar laws around the USA To "protect children, neighborhoods and morality. ".

Had some time to kill before the Guns and Roses concert (awesome BTW! So I decided to stop by T&A. I was there on Saturday, and pretty much had the same experience this time. Been meaning to post an update.

Bandaids has rearranging chairs and tables a little. I was standing there on a busy Friday afternoon a few weeks back when the manager had them hauling a couple booth seats through the crowd from the smoking patio into the main lounge. At first I figured there was some VIP group they were trying to accommodate but now they've moved them all in.

So there are a total of four of them situated around the room. Two are near the VIP entrance. At first there were new traffic jams because of the slightly adjusted table positions but I think they must have removed one. I doubt this effected anyone's favorite seat and I think it's a pretty nice tweak. Of course smokers get the uncomfortable chairs now.

The had also taken out all the high seats by the first stage. I think they also had some new chairs stacked up outside. Hopefully those made their way to the lounge since cushion is always nice.

Security has continued to be uptight. Girls not of drinking age are wearing wristbands and now they're not even supposed to be at the bar.

I think you'll get the typical list of clubs.

I can never talk myself into going to Christie's so I can't say much. Location is obviously great for you and it's gotten the occasional good review.

Le Girls is good on location too. Has the benefit of alcohol and nude. Cover is higher. Nude side was pretty boring to me. I've only seen it on slow nights so can't say much there either.

Most of Sonny's reviews are pretty bad.

I recently gave a positive review to Centerfolds. Obviously it's a long drive back to Tempe.

Jags will be busy on Saturday. Doesn't sound like your scene though.

Dirty's had potential which is a surprise when you consider the neighborhood. If you want food it's a good choice. You're probably crossing these off just because of the distance.

I think Bandaids is showing the MMA fight on Saturday. Cover will be a little higher for that and there are usually a few more girls around.

Christie's Phoenix on 32nd Street still has the sign directing people to the Tempe club. I drove by yesterday and possibly spotted a truck on the north side that could be related to construction. It's been closed for several months now.

I keep thinking about doing Christie's Tempe myself so here's a compilation of some of the recent reports.

Its closed for renovations, I haven't in years but, went to the Tempe one on Friday evening and had a blast and was offered a lot more fun in the VIP but didn't partake. There was a nice selection of white, brown, black, yellow most pretty decent looking some really good. Phillipino girl was very friendly and was about a 6-7, a couple of Cubans were there and they were like 8-9's but had big ol' fake ones which can be fun but I like natural. I wish I would have gotten there a little earlier because it was a $12 dollar cover after 6, I think. It was pretty busy until around 8 pm and the shift change came in and everyone left, I did also.

I went Monday during the day on a whim. It was blah. I had only 2 ladies ask me to dance and a 3rd I tipped on stage to come over during a 2+ hour span. I'm a decent looking business man with money to burn in my pocket. They seemed to dance on stage and disappear? Mileage on the floor is lacking and won't do VIP if the floor dance is weak. I'd much rather have the "want to dance" of some clubs than that ghost town.

On Saturday I was in the Tempe area with a buddy and he suggested that we should go here. Like most have said cover is $12 which seems kind of steep Lady at the front said I could pay some ridiculous number to buy a year pass but I really don't count on going there enough for it to pay for itself. When we got it I ordered a gin and tonic which was terrible. It was super cheap gin and I think soda water instead of tonic that was $6. So within 10 minutes probably had every dancer in the place approach us asking for a dance. Each time we said maybe later and we mean maybe later kind of want to scope out the ladies before. Well the dancers there take that as a big no and none of them ever came back to ask us for dances. We would literally have to get up and walk to girls to have them come back to give us dances. I had a super hot blonde girl give me two dances which are $10 a piece. Towards the end of the second I started to smell a little BO which I understand its a workout giving dances but kind of ruined the mood. The second girl was a half white half asian girl who was a lot of fun I told her to come back in a little while but she never did (is it because I didn't tip at all? Not sure how Arizona strip clubs go). After a couple hours of sitting there we left was kind of boring because of the lack of attention girls were giving. I think we spent more money on the cover charge and drinks (which other than my gin and tonic was beers because we didn't want another bad mix drink) than on girls. This was the first strip club I ever went to back when I was 21 and I got to say it is definitely not the same.

Went to Christie's in Tempe on Friday night looking for Bridgit, who I had seen before and enjoyed my time with. Arrived around 9:00PM, Vanessa the waitress remembered me and took care of me all night, very good waitress and hot enough to work the stage if she wanted. Sat along the back wall and got some good dances from Juliana while waiting, at around ten Vanessa let me know that Bridgit wasn't working that night. Ended up getting several high-mileage dances on the floor with Rebecca, who seems like she'd be a go-er in the VIP room. Also got some dances from Sasha, nice high mileage as well. Lots of very attractive women there, but I was in the mood to be picky and ended up leaving at around midnight.

For safe and opulent, you can also try Christies' Cabaret on Baseline, near the I-10. This club also has a reputation for very beautiful dancers.

I really can't do the "Elite type clubs" It just doesn't have the strip club feel. It's like they expect you to treat them like you are their girlfriend in places like that.
You will definitely get something better from your girlfriend than from any of the dancers here doing table dances.I notice the repeated complaint that girls ignore the customers. Dick North has also said he isn't a fan of the newest Christie's incarnations. Higgs and Deboinair probably summed it up well. I'll likely check it out eventually when I feel like wasting a pile of cash on women who expect to be paid by the minute. Maybe the only reason to go is for the perfect environment to conduct a behavioral study on self-entitled dancers and finally get them figured out. I'm sure no man in history has ever attempted that.

Ok, so I went out tonight for my birthday. By the time we decided to hit a strip club is was just me and a buddy and his wife. We got to bourbon street around 12:15. Waited for about 15 minutes to get in. Once we got in we were seated by the left stage by the VIP area. Its been a long time since I have been to a club, but after about an hour none of us had been approached. The body of a man shot dead while celebrating his birthday was found in some bushes outside a Phoenix nightclub early Sunday morning, police said.

Police confirm the victim was 26-year-old xxxx, also known as xxxxxx, a local up-and-coming rapper. He was with friends at the nightclub at Interstate17 at McDowell Road. Just after midnight, the man left the club. Later, shots were heard in the parking lot.

Bar patrons went to investigate and found the man's body in some landscaping near the Knight's Inn.

Police do not have suspect information at the moment, and details as to why the shooting occurred are unavailable as police are still investigating.

Friends were remembering the victim for his unbridled ambition. "He just wanted to be something in life, just like all the rest of us," said the victim's friend. "You just have to be cut from a different cloth to even have that type of ambition these days. " "He was living for his daughter, living for himself, trying to make a name for himself and be somebody to look up to," he said. He said he hopes his friend's death wasn't in vain. "hH was a role model, you know what I'm saying. He was somebody that anybody could look up to in this life as far as trying to better yourself in this life and trying to be somebody. Another friend, xxx, said xxx was a true "people person" who was cool with everybody. "My friend was a real cool dude," xxx said. "Everybody loved him. Visited today early afternoon. Pretty quiet when I went in and sat at the bar. The usual bevy of chubsters were there. Wasn't sure I would stay but then saw a very nice looking black dancer come in. I also saw "Carina" sitting with a friend in the back drinking Coronas.

Had some time to kill today. Hit a couple of clubs. Here is how they were.

Chicas- Got there right around 6:30. Had to be shift change. Only saw about 4 girls working. They had the same chick dance about 4 straight songs on stage and saw only one girl I had gotten a dance with before. Stayed for my bottle of water and was out of there in about 30 minutes.

T&A- Got there around 7:15. $7. 00 cover, tonight was "wet tshirt night" and they had some super soaker guns in the crowd. This place was PACKED! Standing room only for the most part. Ally?) from New Jersey. Not bad, but not great either. This place was pretty dead. Saw maybe 10 ladies working, most with customers, not a whole lot going on. Left after about 20 minutes.

Bandaids- Got there around 8:15. $6. 00 cover, had to buy a bottle of water. Bandaids was DEAD. Maybe 10 customer total in the joint. Lots of girls though, tonight! Easily 15-20 chicks. FL.Bandaids always scans IDs. Hi Liter, I have never had my I'd scanned there. Hit up Chicas. 90% of the time there, they don't even ask for an I'd LOL.

Several weeks later started receiving junk mail from DUI attorneys, liquor stores, adds for cheap rides if you had too much to drink etc.

I am not sure what other clubs the Bandaids ownership is involved with, but it doesn't matter to me as I immediately left that day. I returned a week or so later and entered with no problem. I asked Jesse about what happened the time before and she said they have started scanning ids at about 3 pm.

No way that I will visit a club that wants to scan my DL. These clubs are going to lose some serious $ if they keep this up.

They can pat me down, wand me and ask me to recite the alphabet backwards, but no scanning of ids.

Decided to stop by Bandaids today around 12 noon. Surprised that it wasn't more crowded with it being the first weekend for college football. Only stayed for about 30 minutes. On 7-29-16, when I bailed out of Bandaids because of the DL deal, I revisited the BM. Not bad, they remodeled again and everything inside looks updated and clean. The club is very dark and some nice ladies are available for some companionship.
I would recommend Eboni. Worth a revisit IMHO.

DN.Yes, it was scanned. The only time I have not had it scanned was a few years back, the door guy recognized me (fellow NY Giants fan) and just let me walk by. Every other time, its gone in the machine. They might only frisk / pat you down after 3 pm, but the license is pretty much always scanned.

Once had a doctors office want to scan and take a picture of mine. I refused. Told them it's against the law. They still saw me.

Before that I learned the hard way. Had a credit card I hardly ever used. Made a big purchase on it from a well known auto parts place in town. They also said they needed to scan my DL. A week later I got a call from Chase about some suspect charges on my card. 2 laptop computers transacted in Cali. Not mine. Coincidence? Are you willing to take the chance for a strip club? Just sayn, not arguing. None of my business.

Just a quick update to my fellow hobbyists. Stopped by win a buddy at Christies on baseline and place was about half full. Ordered a couple of drinks and seen about 3 Latinas, 2 Asians and a few Caucasians. Nothing too spectacular. Got a few dances from Brittany (Mexican descent I think) lot of grinding and rubbing and wanted me to go to the back room. Decided to pass and got a few more dances from shayla and Jessie. The quality has gone done imo since the last time I frequented this place, which is about a year ago or so. Going to try HL in a few days and will report back. Stay safe.

I did some more googling and allot of info that one really needs to dig through. The state won't even divulge some of what's on the bar code. Seems the main purpose of none LE / DMV use was for stores and bars etc. That need to confirm your age to buy some items (liquor, cigs, etc) since clerks generally lack the math skills to look at your I'd and figure it out. Supposedly it's against the law (at least in some states, don't know AZ) for those establishments (ie strip clubs) to have readers that capture anything but your age. And you have the right not to allow them to scan and just confirm your age by looking at the I'd. Again, if their scanner gives them anymore then your DOB they're breaking the law. Anyone can buy readers of any kind and info collection for sale to marketing companies or who knows what is uncontrollable except for you saying FU. Guess you could end up getting a flier in the mail for customer appreciation night. Ones SO would love that.

Face it, not even TSA scans your I'd. They look at your ticket, look at your I'd, look at you and off you go. Someone can look at my I'd that's it. Unless of course they're legit. If others want a scan or write anything down there's plenty of other places to take my business too. Of course in this high tech world people just say who cares; all your infos out there anyway. Maybe so, if you're the gov. or on facebook it pretty much is. Why voluntarily supply a possible missing piece to your identity puzzle. But again, none of my business.

I have no issue with SC scanning my DL. It does not have your social security number on it nor any credit card info. So don't really see the problem for I'd theft etc. There is nothing illegal about going to a strip club. Next I visited TDs West and was visually inspected and allowed to enter. After that I visited Curves and was wanded and allowed in.

My point is simply that these clubs do not have to be so intrusive. If they are concerned about weapons, then buy some wands or do some pat-downs. I visit many clubs in Phoenix and most do not check IDs. When they start that crap, I will refocus and work on my golf game.

Regarding Tucson, I visted most of the clubs like 10 years ago when I had a rep and an office in Tucson. It was mostly non-contact air dances at most or all of the clubs as I recall. But haven't been down (up actually) there for many years.

Of course still prefer the nude laps in Mississauga and especially the nude-reverse adult massage licensed legal places. But only to there about once a year. Of course, no I'd required.

I get to the Phoenix area once or twice a year and have enjoyed Highliters BM, and M10 in particular. Several years ago, I also had a good time or two at the old Candy Store in Tucson. I do have to agree with you about scanning your ID. Let's face it; you don't always have the most honest people working in these establishments. It is true that a Drivers License alone does not generally have enough personal information for identity theft, but with it an enterprising criminal very well may be able to couple it with enough other information to create some problems. Next time there, I may have to put more emphasis on my golf game too. After all the games are similar. With one you take strokes to get the ball in the hole and with the other you put the putter in the hole and take strokes!

I loved going to Bandaids on Sundays during football season. Looks like that will cease. No more football package and no more drink specials until after the games.

Wish I knew that before I took the hike out there. There was not any talent I liked enough to stay so I went to hi liter. Strange thing is they had the football package there. Doesn't make because hi liter is more a strip club strictly for dancing. Bandaids is more a dive bar slash strip club.

Visited blue moon recently and saw a Mexican chick with long curly hair. She was by far the best girl there. I give her a 8/10. Did the 30 min private dance off to the side and after that paid for the full hour. A lot of extras offered. The FS damage was 240. She gave me her number afterwards to meet up more in public. Miscellany. Part Un: Cheetahs.

Good and bad situation for me the past three months: a great work situation has made it difficult for me to visit the clubs. Too busy at work. Think of all the money I've saved on lap dances! No thanks to Bigtim47 who made a suggestion last month how I can quickly blow $200 and not even get any personal enjoyment. Thanks, Bigtim47 ! (grin).

Finally got out Saturday night. Decided to drop by Cheetahs for perhaps the first time in 3-5 years. Pulled into the parking lot around 9:30 PM. The lot was far from full and two women in another car, likely dancers, looking at me as I parked. I already knew there were few customers in the club and these two had either just left or had looked inside and were debating whether to stay and have to pay house fees or just leave. I've seen the look among dancers many times and heard the basic dialogue over many years. They decided to call it a night. They were gone by the time I locked my car.

I was there anyway and figured I needed to do the field research, so I proceeded inside. Inside the front entrance two very large security guards told me it was a $10 cover. They were nice enough considering they looked like they'd kill me for laughs except I'd be too easy.

Inside, it was just as I expected: maybe two or three other customers. As it always seems for this place, there was a dancer on stage, and the rest of the dancers were clustered at a table with a couple of guys. One of them I later found out was the owner. Granted, we're approaching the end of the summer slowdown but this is pretty much the scene on every visit at any time of the year. I'm obviously not visiting during the busy times. If anyone know when that is, let me know.

I sat at the bar and soon was mentally prepping to leave as the bar maid ignored me. Eventually she came out of her trance or whatever she was doing and asked me if I'd like something to drink. With beverage at hand, my departure was at least delayed for awhile. A server came by and asked me how I was doing. She gave me the lowdown on the VIP areas. This place has more VIP areas than any other I've encountered. There are at least five, each increasing in cost. Pricing starts at $10/ dance and no touching at the regular non-VIP tables out on the floor, goes to $25/ dance at the first tier. From there it goes up to as much as a $1000 entry in one VIP area. Do people actually use these spaces? OK, that's rhetorical. We all know someone uses them.

Soon I was joined at the bar by P!nk. I'm using the same punctuation as the performer and that is the name use by this attractive blonde dancer. Very tall in her heels and with the same sexy short hairstyle. You and I know where this is going: we engaged in small talk, she, going through the motions of being interested in me, though she made an attempt to learn about my background. I gently deflected that, not wanting to jeopardize national security. (grin). Suddenly, she needed to get a smoke. I'm sympathetic with smokers, it can be a real need, but I came damn close to just taking the opportunity to slip out the door. Another dancer came by and made small talk, delaying my departure. Don't misundertand. She was pretty and sexy enough but it seemed like a good opportunity to go. She returned and we agreed to adjourn to the lowest tier VIP area. It was nice enough but I couldn't help but think how much more mileage I could be getting at almost any other club during a regular floor dance.

Verdict: nice dance, but nothing to really get me (ahem) excited and a bit pricey.

Still waiting on Higgs to post part two so I'll break up the monotony for some breaking news from Bandaids.

They've replaced the old stage with a smaller one. While this is obviously good from a space perspective they also added seats around the stage perimeter. I'll guess you'll have to see for yourself to decide whether you like it better.

They also re-did VIP seats. They're wider and there's now more room for people to pass in front. Just make sure you don't lean back and hit your head on the mirror like I did.

Saturday evening I left Cheetah's and made my way to the Hi Liter, arriving around 10:30. The parking lot wasn't full but pretty close to it. At the door one of the security guys gave me a very complete physical examination, er, I mean, a pat down. I don't remember getting that kind of frisk at the Hi Liter before. Either he liked me a lot or we've reached a whole new level of national security. The woman taking my $10 cover gave my I'd a cursory look but didn't scan it.

Inside I was escorted to the seating by one of the security guys. I led the way and settled in at the bar and gave him a couple of singles to go away. This culture of near begging for tips by the security staff is usually my one complaint about the Hi Liter. Granted, I probably encouraged it that evening. The place was pretty full: every table was occupied from what I could see from my bar stool. Got my beverage from the attentive bar maid and continued to survey the scene. I now understand what others said about the expansion of the VIP area. The club took additional space from the south wall seating and also some table seating on the southeast side of the club. To recover some of the lost seating space, the club eliminated the pathway in front of the stage. Now, if you're sitting at the bar and have to "hit the head", you have to walk to the main entrance and circle your way to the opposite side of the club. It might be an illusion but space around all tables seem very tight. After I moved to a newly vacated table near the bar, I noticed a customer at a nearby table wrestling with chairs trying to make them fit the space.

Got some dances. First with a latina with moderately enhanced boobs. Nice enough but far from thrilling. Sorry, I forgot her name. I didn't feel a reason to remember it. I fended off a couple of dancers who didn't appeal to me. At the Hi Liter it can be tough getting the attention of dancers who intrigue you. Bigtime47 and I had that experience trying to get Missy to return to our table for a rematch when we were here last. This night it was Lacey for me. I spotted her by the bar and tried to make eye contact. Tough to do in the dim light. She's been at the Hi Liter for quite a while, perhaps two or three years. Black, medium complexion, pretty face, small / medium breasts and a butt that elevates my pulse rate. Eventually she noticed me as she walked by the bar. She briefly inquired about VIP but she graciously took my decision to stay where we were. Definitely enjoyed my reunion with Lacey. Sound interesting? She's there almost every night but she get's there late, like 10:30 - 11:00 PM.

Chicas items.

Chicas recently posted to it's Facebook page an offer of a month of no house fees for new dancers. For you Chicas customers, this is probably good news. For the next month or two, there's a good chance there will be a lot of new faces dancing at that club. Caution: if you run into a new dancer you can't live without, you better get her contact info because she might not be there after a month or even the next day. Current Chicas dancers are livid about the announcement. Chicas was a place that was willing to give dancers a break on house fees if the place was dead but lately the club has become hard-nosed about house fees, even demanding the fees when the dancers got zero business. The management is telling dancers they need to spend more time there to earn the house fees plus take home. Regular Chicas dancers not only are not getting any breaks on house fees but they have to contend with new dancers competing for the same customers but not liable for fees.

Chicas dancers I know, say business for them is terrible. The latino customers don't tip dancers on stage and rarely get dances. They sip bottled beer and watch the dancers on stage. They're entitled to do that but it's not paying the dancers' bills. Many dancers don't work deep into the evening because the business isn't there. OTOH, dancers like Joanna and Estrella can leverage their language skills.

Beware: acquaintances who dance at Chicas say there are a couple of dancers who are getting especially desperate. One story relates how a dancer, after a couple of dances in the VIP, claimed the customer owed her several hundred dollars. Mayhem ensued. Security overreacted and hit the nonviolent customer with pepper spray. I strongly recommend testing the waters in the booths on the north side of the room at $10/ dance before agreeing to the elevated VIP area. But that doesn't guarantee anything.

Not helping matters is a subset of customers who have run out the back door without paying for dances, and an ugly incident involving a customer's loogie. I don't want to even picture it.

Forgive me for not having time to work in David Cronenberg's cult classic move "Scanners". (1981).

I posted about this happening at Bandaids on 07-29-16. I arrived at 3 pm. The new guy at the door said that they needed to scan my DL to check if there had been any 'issues' at other clubs. I am not sure what other clubs the Bandaids ownership is involved with, Bandaids, Hi Liter and Essex are owned by the same family. Other places may be added in near future.

What's all the hubbub? Where have you been hiding the past 2 or 3 years? This is not a new development. Essex has been scanning IDs for about 3 years and Bandaids has been doing it a long time. It's been posted and talked about here previously. I thought you RTF. Good to know you're alive and in high spirits. I respect your position and you've made your point. Some of us on the board appreciate that troublemakers at any of the three sister clubs, will get banned from all three. I also appreciate the ownership's efforts to make the clubs as safe as reasonably possible. This is why you have I'd checks, pat downs, and drug warnings at the three sister clubs, and regular parking lot patrols at Bandaids and Essex. (very thorough pat-down during my recent Hi Liter visit). As previously referenced, "since 1969" is imprinted on the Bandaids mirror across from the bar. No other set of clubs in this valley has been under continuous ownership and management. Various clubs around the valley have been shut down, changed ownership, lost liquor licenses, and had LE raids for drug transactions but not these three clubs. Local LE like the clubs because they rarely, if ever, have to make "business calls" as at other clubs. I intend to support those three clubs even if it means getting my I'd scanned but that's my choice. If others are bothered by the scan, I suggest taking your business elsewhere. I'll continue to cite Bandaids and the other two clubs as generally safe places to people who want to know about which clubs to visit.

In related news, I understand that Pink Rhino will reopen under three sisters' management. Having no objections from, perhaps even support of, the local LE goes a long way to getting a liquor license approved. Not sure what the current situation is but last heard that it might become a latino nightclub. I understand ABC is also discussing ownership changes.

Started at Bliss was dead, but picked up later around 10 pm. Not impressed, quite a few girls from Centerfolds dance there now. I find it so amazing how these dancers bounce from club to club out here. I never saw that before. Whole purpose of trying another strip club is to NOT see the same dancers. LOL.It's the Summer doldrums and dancers are desperately looking for the gold mine club since their current club is dead. You're looking for new fresh hot dancers and they're shifting clubs to find the customers who will buy laps all night. All the clubs are dead with the possible exception of Chicas but money for the dancers is not forthcoming at that location either. Last summer I took a dancer acquaintance for a strip club tour encompassing about 6 clubs over a period of a week, looking for that goldmine or pot of gold. Her conclusion: they're all dead. The same person brought up the subject of another SC recon tour just last week and I had to remind her of last year.

2:00- Chicas. (edit) I have been here probably a dozen times, and I can't remember ever seeing her. I am a tit man, and these tits were huge! Not as big as my girl Rosies, but still pretty fucking huge! I tipped her about $4. 00 on stage and asked her to come over for a dance after her set. Asked her name and she said Estrella. She was hot! Mexican, fake tits but a fantastic implant surgeon. Felt incredibly real and squishy. Might have had fake ass implants too but they felt great. She is probably in her mid 30's, says she's been doing this for about 14 years. Had 6 dances with her and they were incredible! Had full access to the her whole body. Gave her $80 and was on my way. I hope to go back and see her again, soon. She instantly catapulted into my top 3 strippers in Phoenix (Kaya-Bandaids, Rosie-Chicas, Estrella-Chicas).The likely reason you hadn't seen Estrella there before is because she's normally at Bandaids. Almost every Bandaids customer, day or night, has been approached by Estrella. She approaches me about a dance every time we've both been at Bandaids, even if I only told her no the day before. She is very persistent but also nice. She believes that a customer might say "no" but will remember that she was nice about it. (Most of us have experienced the b*tches who demand a dance, try to cheat you, or be otherwise nasty) Estrella also sells sandwiches to other dancers and customers. From personal experience I can tell you she makes a tasty sandwich. This is not meant to be a pun because I told her that I would never get a dance from her again if she got a boob-job. I like her but I meant what I said. I do buy her sandwiches. She's another dancer suffering the Phoenix area service industry summer slowdown. There are lots of dancers struggling to make rent, pay utilities, etc. Estrella will likely be back at Bandaids as the strip clubs emerge from the summer slow-down. Look for her there in October, or before if she disappears from Chicas.

She approaches me about a dance every time we've both been at Bandaids, even if I only told her no the day before. .Yep! Estrella is / was an institution at Bandaids. Liked her much better before the implants. She is quite nice, good body except for bolt-ons but quite mechanical in routine. The likely reason you hadn't seen Estrella there before is because she's normally at Bandaids. Almost every Bandaids customer, day or night, has been approached by Estrella. She approaches me about a dance every time we've both been at Bandaids, even if I only told her no the day before. She is very persistent but also nice. (Most of us have experienced the b*tches who demand a dance, try to cheat you, or be otherwise nasty) Estrella also sells sandwiches to other dancers and customers. It's been posted and talked about here previously. I thought you RTF. Good to know you're alive and in high spirits. I respect your position and you've made your point. Some of us on the board appreciate that troublemakers at any of the three sister clubs, will get banned from all three. I also appreciate the ownership's efforts to make the clubs as safe as reasonably possible. This is why you have I'd checks, pat downs, and drug warnings at the three sister clubs, and regular parking lot patrols at Bandaids and Essex. (very thorough pat-down during my recent Hi Liter visit). As previously referenced, "since 1969" is imprinted on the Bandaids mirror across from the bar. No other set of clubs in this valley has been under continuous ownership and management. Various clubs around the valley have been shut down, changed ownership, lost liquor licenses, and had LE raids for drug transactions but not these three clubs. Local LE like the clubs because they rarely, if ever, have to make "business calls" as at other clubs. I intend to support those three clubs even if it means getting my I'd scanned but that's my choice. If others are bothered by the scan, I suggest taking your business elsewhere. I'll continue to cite Bandaids and the other two clubs as generally safe places to people who want to know about which clubs to visit.

In related news, I understand that Pink Rhino will reopen under three sisters' management. Having no objections from, perhaps even support of, the local LE goes a long way to getting a liquor license approved. Not sure what the current situation is but last heard that it might become a latino nightclub. I understand ABC is also discussing ownership changes.

Why all the acrimony? I view and read this site for strip club info and recommendations. We should all be into clubbing and reading about it to gain new information and having fun. If it isn't fun, find another hobby. I understand we all have different tastes. I go to Bourbon and Hi-Liter as my favorite, comfortable clubs. I occasionally do club tours with a few select friends and go to clubs that I would not ordinarily patronize, like Chicas, Essex, etc. As an example, one of my least favorite clubs is Bandaids. I don't hold that against those that like it.

The only club that I have been to that looks at my ID is in Fargo, No Dak. The gal just looks at the name on the ID and checks it against a master list of all those banned, so no problem.

So, I don't see any need for such acrimony and personal insults. We all have our own opinions. Chill out. And don't be pissed off; this is only my little ol opinion.

After living here almost two years. Did the tours of the clubs several times and I have to say in my experience Chicas is the best for me. Mainly because they satisfy my exotic look obsession. Went there Saturday afternoon. Spoke briefly to a half black / Puerto Rican dancer named Venus I think. She is from Vegas. She had to go on stage and a guy snatched her up when she got off. But I met Bella a half black / white sexy dancer which it was only her second day. Spent some time and got some high mileage dances. Definitely worth it. I got contact info. This is the main thing that you have to do here. Get contact info because the sexy ones don't stay long. This has been my golden ticket for OTC. I notice that a lot of dancers at least the ones I've hooked up with were from out of town. Dancers that lived in Phoenix for many years or from Phoenix I don't connect with I've noticed. I think the day shift girls are actually better looking than the night girls, it's much easier to get a dance in the daytime too. Overall, IMO the best looking girls in town day or night and not even really close. You can probably get a better dance elsewhere, but IMO you sacrifice some quality and I'm all about the quality, that's not to say you can't have fun with the right girl either. I was surprised not as busy as usual at this time. I had come here a few weeks ago about the same time and very crowded, gave up on being approached for dances after about 30 minutes then.

This trip started out slow and boring but at least they don't force you do buy a drink. But it got great after about the first 20 minutes.

As others have noted the remodeling takes away some space and narrows walk by the new VIP booth and believe the stage jets out further which in my view was totally unnecessary. The seating other than at the outer edges is very cramped and hard to get to. I found an edge seat and moved some chairs around trying to make an easy access path to my lap!

I did turn down 1st gal that approached with huge breasts which turns me off. Hopefully, other dancers didn't notice my "no thanks" to avoid me.

I keep thinking it would be nice to have separate sections or someway to separate guys interested in possible dances vs those that have no interest as so many good looking gals got turned down by others but never approached me until.

Yep, that's what's been going on at many clubs for years. (hope you are not pulling our collective legs here! :)) Centerfolds has the floor dances, VIP and Champagne dances available. Similar situations with Sugar44, Bandaids, Chicas etc. Most have variations on the VIP policies and setups, but your mileage will increase with that band on your wrist or your paid VIP fee. Some clubs don't charge admission to VIP like Bandaids, but you will pay more per dance.

Had the chance to get away for a bit today and headed on down to Chicas. Got there about 1:30 pm and right when I walked in, I noticed it was incredibly dark in there! I looked around and noticed that there were no more TVs on the wall near the DJ, no more "VIP" cubicles below the DJ, and even the small TVs at the bar were not on either. It was nice that those "VIP" cubicles are gone. It allows for more seating and made the place feels less cramped. I saw 2 girls I had seen before dancing on stage during my first half hour there. I saw about 3 girls walk in at 1:45 for their shift at 2 pm. Right about 2 pm on the dot, the new girls emerged from the dressing room. One of them was my new favorite, Estrella. She went up on stage and danced and I gave her about $3. 00. After she was done with her songs, she moved to the secondary stage and was dancing some more. I got my ass up and walked over and gave her another $3. 00. When I did that, she asked if I wanted a dance. Why of course! Does a bear shit in the woods?

Dances were great! She has an amazing pair of tits and a jiggly ass. She is a bit older (mid / late 30's, maybe?) than a lot of the strippers there, but she makes up for it in pure sexiness. There is a public post from a dancer that Phoenix clubs have been warned about their VIPs by the Feds. She says some clubs are shutting down their VIP's.

It would be good to have any reports on any clubs doing this to confirm this or not.

I have zero interest in any extra VIP activities but could ruin the mostly non-enforcement of the basically no contact 1999 strip club law still in effect and how lap dances couldn't be in laps but the straddle over the chair with legs silly positions that was enforced for a few years after the law change. That resulting in owners association led by Damian owner of Alaskan Bush, where I represented the old Stevi's Secret club (bought out by T&A years ago).

How they would get a strip club VIP could come in a number of ways. As you suggest the hardly ever enforced Phoenix strip club law (adult entertainment facilities) is a licensing violation only. Layouts of clubs VIPs have to be presented and approved by the City, have to be in eyesight of a monitor (not sure if camera coverage is enough) and of course no sex.

There could be ways to make it criminal but hard it would seem. If someone recommends the VIP it can be felony promoting in AZ if prostitution such as a handjob can be alledged or more. Or, dancer sits with undercover (UC) and solicits the VIP and says the wrong thing. Or UC goes into VIP and dancer asks if wants a sex act. LE is very clever with all the grant money they get to trick you into breaking the law. Not like Sheriff Joes goones in the old days where they were easy to detect since they were so obniousious when called for escorts or massage.

In the almost 10 years of these joint task force operations led by the Cook Cty Sheriff nationwide I have never heard about strip club arrests.

Went to HiLiter around 2 pm yesterday. Parking lot seemed quite packed but maybe about 12 guys inside. Took a chair right in the middle surrounded by a sea of tables and chairs in disarray. Whoever said it reminded them of the Haunted Mansion was spot on. Anyways took advantage of the 2 for 1 drinks special. Got a Jack and Coke (2) for $8 and later a Vodka Press (2) for $8. So a total of 4 drinks for $16 which aint bad. Had a few of the $10 LDs. The only ones worth writing about are Missy, Cali, Sasha, and Dominique. Sasha was by far the best out of the bunch. Lots of mutual 2 way touching, grabbing over the pants. Asked about VIP and services went up to $$ for her. I just got back from a research trip to Hi-Liter and then briefly to Bandaids.

My interest in clubs is further reduced. New restrictions at Hi-Liter which I experienced. Very few customers Thur about 5:30-6:30. I know the hard facts confirmed by about 5 dancers and some rumors, like some dancers were fired doing too much on the floor. Basically no contact on front side above the hips seems to be what most are doing.

I have often warned about taking a good thing too far and spoiling it for all.

Bandaids. Some dancers have heard about it but they have not had the 2 hour? Lecture on rules.

I'm pooped after prior to the clubs spent a few hours updating the zillions of massage parlor and escort felony cases in Superior Court. Only got to a small number of the active cases I am following. Will to a more complete review later.

Hi-Liter "Raid" = New Restrictive Rules.

There have been many reports, rumors, etc. Of the "raid" a week or so ago first posted by a dancer on another board.

I have always been concerned about activities that went too far bringing in more enforcement of the 1999 strip club law which bans any contact with bad body parts. When first enforced dancers had to sit with their legs over the chair arms and could not be in a customer's lap. Technically a close full body hug with both fully clothed would violate the licensing ordinance.

On 10/27 I made a "research trip" to see if I could get some dancer to talk! Many don't want the bad publicity to get out since it may be bad for business.

I talked to 5 dancers, the guy with the clipboard and then went to the sister club Bandaids and talked to dancers and the doorman.

I got various "stories" and have tried to separate the facts as best I could vs. The rumors.

One unconfirmed rumor from a dancer that was not working that night said she heard that some dancers were ticketed based on illegal contact on floor dances. One dancer that was there says they were detained for over 2 hours during the "raid. ".

What is pretty much agreed upon by those there that night and other dancers that heard from others is:

1) The "raid" was by the liquor commission, not LE. This seems odd to me, but that is what all the dancers said.

2) Dancers had their licenses checked and were "lectured" on such dangerous acts against the morality of society such as touching breasts, genitals, and no grinding. Further, of course, nothing sexual could be in the VIPs (assume similar restrictions).

TI recall the 1999 ordinance was passed to "protect children and neighborhoods. " Somehow breast massage that I get such great response from most dancers (especially pecs) is dangerous to society.

Getting lap dancers on the floor from five dancers at Hi-Liter in all cases except 1 did not allow frontal contact above the waist.

Background of the law that has not been enforced for many years but now seems moving in this direction:

I spoke against the new laws at the packed city council meeting and in public hearings of late 1999. Both the strip club ordinance and the law banning swing clubs was passed that was written by the Christian group even though the citizens speaking at the hearings were overwhelmingly against it other than a few "Church Ladies" and of course the Christian group leader. Late night at packed city council chambers after the public comment was over both new ordinance were approved unanimously by the City Council with emergency urgency so would be effective immediately instead of the usual 90? Day period to be effective. The reason was the silliness of "to protect neighborhoods and children.

I represented Stevi Secrets Club. Before sold and now T&A. At the strip club owners association led by Damien, owner of Alaskan Bush at the peak of the outrage of club owners. I knew some of the other owners including one that had to shut down for as I recall a week or two to avoid hefty fines.

I was also on the Club C. Legal committee which challenged the law outlawing swing clubs but we but lost at the 9th Circuit, and the Club was forced to close, or owners would be arrested.

Widely reported in the media LE detectives would spend long hours at clubs looking for the slightest touch of bad body parts. A TV crew went to Club C and panned the industrial area it was in asking "where are the children and neighborhoods. ".

Review of Hi-Liter experience.

I was at the club between about 5:30-6:30 PM. I have been here at this time many times, and it is usually quite busy. I was amazed how few customers were in the club. There was an overwhelming number of dancers many just sitting together on the back wall chairs (for the higher cost dances) with as few customers as I have ever seen the club.

Since I have no interest in the stage dancing or drinking but having lap dances (never been in the VIP in 20 years of going to Hi-Liter) often I am bored when not approached for dances. It was the opposite tonight. Too many dancers approaching. As usual rejected those with big breasts or larger bodies but most dancers here are my type of more slender etc.

With the restrictions, I only did one dance with 4 and two with the 5th. With most of them, I had splendid communications talking about issues before dances. All were very nice, but I don't like the new restrictions for what I enjoy the most (and especially in Toronto / Mississauga area clubs I enjoy so much).

Ada nice face, taller nice. Angela very nice has worked here for six years, a bit older and mature which I like. Although not particularly my body type did dances with two Cuban's Hila and Jenny (nice smile friendly face), but both were rather non-connection in the way I like. Ironically my best experience was later at Bandaids with a slender Cuban. Communications hard since I have difficulty understanding their English. Finished off with Jean but no connection.

Since I have such a poor memory I have a little black book, I quickly write down names and some notes which I later record for future reference. At one point I had so many dancers coming to me since so few customers, I had to "escape" as I don't want to be too obviously in my note taking. I went to the back standing, and the notebook guy asked if I needed more light to take my notes!

As always mostly attractive nice dancers but not for what I enjoy which is respectful caring touch, massage pecs, back and a real intimacy connection for the moment that I have enjoyed from many dancers over the last few decades. More so in Canada without the restrictions but still non-sexual.

See my report on Hi-Liter raid. I was curious to see if the new restrictions were enforced at this sister club.

Usually, the door guy scans drivers license for all. But this time when I offered said that's OK, Old Dave is obviously over 21!

As others have noted the body types in general at Bandaids are less my preferred type vs. The more slender gals at Hi-Liter. Just like Hi-Liter the fewest customers, I think I have ever seen. Have no idea why. At one point I counted only six guys in the stage dance section but lots of dancers.

The best dance was the first with Cuban Lucy. Not much talk since so hard to understand her English. However, great "connection" in dances. My type of intimacy and connection for the moment (not sexual!) especially after doing my magic Very much my body type and a 4+ on my intimacy scale (0-5 with 5 very rare).

I "no thanked" at least four dancers who seemed nice but just too large or breasts too big for my tastes.

Did get dances with dancers from LA and Vegas (who was just bouncy wild type but had a nice discussion before dance). All were nice but no real connection like I had with Lucy.

Some of the dancers had heard of the Hi-Liter raid but did not involve Bandaids and no warning given them about restrictions like at Hi-Liter.

I'll start by stating that I've been visiting the local strip clubs for years. Just a few points about Dave's below posts. 1) Local strip clubs have been getting raided for years, and will continue to be raided for years to come, this is nothing new. Generally, they step up enforcement a bit for a short time (often close to election time), then as time goes by they ease right back up. If you are concerned by the lack of contact it's probably just time to take a break for a bit, save up some money, then get right back at it in a few weeks / month. 2) As for the HL, from my experiences it's busier during the afternoon hours and then again later at night, it's not uncommon for it to slow down during the shift change hours (5:00-8:00), especially early / mid week, so I'm guessing this is not some new trend it's just business as usual. 3) I wholeheartedly agree about using some discretion in your posts about names and activities, lets not kill the golden goose.

My understanding from talking to the one current owner I know is LE has dropped by to check licenses and in a few cases based ona complaint from an ex-boyfriend watched her and ticketed a specific dancer. The club owner told me they didn't even talk to the owner just ticketed the dancer in question.

The Hi-Liter is the first time ever heard of rounding up all the dancers and laid down the law on being more restrictive on touch. Also confused why it was liquor board related vs LE.

I agree things may return more to normal in a few months. Club owner's (the triad family?) doesn't seem concerned at least at one of its sister clubs.

The worry is the full ordinance might start being enforced like early 2000's with virtually no contact and those odd straddle position over the arms of chairs since can not sit in lap since would touch that nasty sex organ we are suppose to be so ashamed of in the view of the sick Christians that wrote the law here and in zillions of cities across the USA As they bragged.

The gals other than too many enhanced are on average far more attractive to me than most at Bandaids. Hi-Liter was about the same in my view for quality, but not interested now with restrictions. Of all the clubs usually had the easiest times getting dancers to approach me at Hi-Liter.

My dream would be separate areas or a wrist tag to show which guys are looking for dances vs the guys that just want to qawk and drink all night.

Getting lots more info on Hi-Liter. A person from today (Fri afternoon) says the club looks like a bomb went off inside so few customers and very upset dancers mostly looking for other clubs to move to.

Some of the regular dancers were suspended or terminated or left on their own.

VIP dances are no more than the very restrictive dances on the floor.

Management wagged finger at dancer seen doing a "stripper slide".

One report is that the liquor board has put one person in there every day at random times to look for violations.

The job has made it difficult to keep up on my strip club visits. Responsibility weighs greatly on my shoulders.

About 3 weeks ago on a Saturday night I made my first visit to Bandaids after an absence of 2 or 3 months. Waved through the front door screening by security thanks to the "hostess" who gave the nod to the security guy. He said she gave me the approval as "OK". I didn't recognize her but I put a couple of bucks in the tip jar.

I got my beverage at the front door and proceeded in the direction of the lounge and was immediately intercepted by Cashmere like a homing torpedo. She knows I'm good for a few dances. I like her thick figure but don't care for her nipple piercings. We got the dances out in the lounge space. Though she was hoping for more, I called "time". I wandered back out to the bar for another beverage and ran into the dark cuban Cathy (who had a great combination of medium-sized breasts and moderate booty. We moved into the lounge for some very enjoyable dances. In the midst of these dances, I notice one of the newer security guys peering at me, getting a good look at my face. I figured he was checking to see I was staying within the club's approved behavioral standards. Cathy and I finished the dances and I was still panting when the same security guy approached me. I figured I was getting a scolding but he told me that he had a dancer for me that I would love. Me: "Well, I don't know". Him: "I guarantee you'll like her". He said she hadn't been getting dances and was preparing to leave. I assented and he escorted her over. Cuban, light complexion, medium thick, pretty face. Sorry, I don't remember her name. A set of dances that I found acceptable but which didn't increase my pulse rate. A pleasant person.

Wednesday night this week I dropped by Alaskan Bush Company (ABC) to pick up a dancer acquaintance who needed a little help and transport home. While my friend paid her house fees, an enchantress appeared and took it upon herself to make sure I wasn't lonely. I returned later that evening for deeper discussion. I was not disappointed with this particular dancer. I have avoided ABC for years because 1- in my once every 4-5 years visits, most of the dancers have been consistently unappealing and 2 - the club has very restrictive "hands-off" rules. This visit was consistent with past experiences as I was first given a warning by the DJ who walked over to talk with me, then a very stern talking-to by a humorless security guy. The place was pretty empty on both topless and nude sides and this probably made us a little more obvious. Despite this, the warmth of my newly found friend may allow me to excuse the deficiencies of ABC in the interest of scientific exploration. Damn, I can hardly wait for the weekend.

In other rarely charted waters, I was on 19th Ave and found myself driving by Roxy only to see that the name on the sign has been painted over. The parking lot was cordoned off, and there was also one of the liquor or zoning hearing signs visible by the front door. It appears that ownership has probably changed. I will try to drive by again very soon.

I sort of arrange the table area so easy access to my lap vs chair away. Usual small talk but she was great at conversation and very cheerful. Off we went to VIP. Very great my type of "connection" and interaction. A 4 on my 0-5 intimacy scale with 5 being rare. Icy was warm / hot not icy.

Good Halloween decor but not overboard. Almost left the entry ticket with the fake guy by the door vs humanoid. Also in the dark an attractive looking dancer "dummy" at the entrance to VIP.

So basically they were told to limit the blatantly obvious groping on the main floor and are keeping a closer eye on the VIP.

Expect things to loosen up after some time passes. However, they may tone it down a bit for the long term on the main floor.

As to stories of VIP visits in the past, some may be exaggerated; yet it is certain an extra or two may have occurred.

My recent visit included reasonable VIP fun, yet my current favorite did exercise more caution than normal and even was slightly paranoid.

For this hobbyist, the street scene ended long ago (savings not worth risk of disease or arrest). With Aztec and the Studio gone, the MP scene is also abandoned. The dating sites require too much time, and I'm even leery of backpage these days. Hence, extras at the club, or take out is the only way to go (of course my success stories are all made up and exaggerated).I'd have to agree about VIP a tad bit exaggerated. If not then what they pay you are better off getting a escort. Going to the varies strip clubs here I've talked to a couple of guys and they pay. 150 and up. Sorry I'm not doing that just for foreplay and HJ. The guys that did get any action have went back with the same girl multiple times before they did anything.

I've never did the street thing for reasons that you said. All the BP I've ever did were predominantly with strippers or well reviewed escort so no worry about LE.

I was passing by Roxy the other day and decided to read the sign. It's a typical request for comment as part of an application for a liquor license. The business is listed as "Exodus Cabaret". IMO a rather odd name for a strip club. Sure we have an Xplicit, and had an Exotica and an Excaliber, but the EX- does not in itself evoke strip club businesses or activities. What's next: exegis? Extradition? I could back Extraterrestrial. Wouldn't mind going to an ET Cabaret.

Stopped by after work, around 3 pm and it was a little slow.
About 4-5 dancers, place looks nice.
I sat by the bar and got a drink, a petite blonde came over and we talked for a song or two. I got a dance which was all hovering, but what I really don't go for are the pasties. I forgot about certain clubs requiring them. Just headed home after that.City of Tempe. Same situation in Scottsdale. Owned by the same people who own Dream Palace. I'm surprised you didn't get the strip club tour when they show the areas of the clubs where things are supposed to get interesting, wink, wink. Don't bother. You're better off going to a club located in Phoenix.

That night I dropped by Bandaids. Usual I'd scan, I'd check, and pat down. Continued getting reacquainted with dancers I haven't seen the last couple of months. Got a dance with Cathy, the darker cuban. I was a little surprised when she asked for a tip after we concluded 6 table dances. I gave her a small tip. After thinking about it, I decided that if she asked again, I'd say, yes, while she's onstage.

Sunday night, a dancer acquaintance asked me to take her out to Jaguars. We arrived around Midnight and sat at a table in the back of the club. The place was packed. My perspective: few of the dancers were attractive but that's always subjective. For both of us: we were observing the large numbers of augmented butts. My estimate, 1/3 of the dancers had butt implants. Neither one of us got any dances. Lap or table dances were rare in the club. Most dancers seemed to be making their money through tips during their time onstage at the five stations. Conclusion for me: I had fun with my friend but I'd rather not return to Jaguars for a long time.

Tuesday: I dropped by Bandaids. Got some dances with Cathy again. She didn't bring up the subject of a tip. Spent lots of time with Charisma and Kylie. Nuff said.

Wednesday: one of my dancer acquaintances wanted to go to Essex. We arrived around Midnight and the place was jumping. Lots of customers, lots of dancers, and everyone was having fun. I'm going to have a tough choice for my next club visit. Bandaids for Charisma and Kylie, or Essex for the hot dancer with the rear who gave me a glimpse of heaven.

Hi-Liter too soon for info on latest raid however:

1) License up for renewal on 1/31/2017 which may be why the attention and now the very restrictive policies.

Pink Rhino Cabaret 11/2016 granted liquor license transfer from Stray Cat Bar and Grill in Tempe. After continued from prior month agenda due to City of Phoenix disapproval and public protest.

T&A. Exotica 10/2016 Big fight over application to transfer license from T&A on Grand Ave to Exotica Gentlemen Club at same of address (change of owner). City of Phoenix objected and represented by a City Prosecutor. Based on mutual agreement the application for change of ownership of license was withdrawn and the interim permit terminated.

T&A Cabaret III (2348 E McDowell) City of Phoenix disapproved and was supported to deny by a City Prosecutor, a female detective. By mutual agreement the license transfer application was withdrawn.

Great Alaskan Bush Co. Liquor dept protested application supported by two Asst Attorney Generals who provided the board legal advice. By mutual agreement the "agent change" application was with drawn.

Bandaids. In 2015 big fight for change of control related to the Trust of James and Timothy Z. Timothy withdrew application and then considered for 100% transfer of control just to James Z. City of Phoenix objected based on issues with Timothy and not James. Then ownership of the JZ Liquor (doing business as Bandaids) was filed with the Corporation Commission to have only James as owner. After filing and proof of ownership change the City of Phoenix withdrew its objection. It was noted that James has a history of owning at least four licenses, with no violations at least since 2004. Transfer of control was approved.

Dave notes looks like 4700 LLC has five family member trustees of their own Trusts last name Z. , Frank, Patrick, William, Robert, James and Timothy. 4700 LLC owns office building next to Hi-Liter and another company (Dow) owns the Hi-Liter and another adjacent property per County Recorder records showing the Z. Ownership as well as a couple in Tucson.

Doing a bit of research on family with somewhat unique foreign looking Z. Last name. Oh boy. Matching first middle and last names and from Phoenix Patrick was arrested after he shot and killed a Tucson police officer in 1996. Police said Z. Was in Tucson the night before the shooting to help his wife, who works at Curves Cabaret. He was already on parole for a prior federal drug felony after serving 12 years in prison. He claimed his wife owned the gun. He claimed he shot the police officer in self-defense. The police officer wearing dark clothing and a ski mask (assume undercover) got out of car and confronted Z. With a revolver. Z. reached into his truck for his gun and a shootout erupted. Police don't know who fired first, but both did. Police officer was shot in the head, killing him. Patrick was held in Phoenix on a parole violation. Felon having a weapon. (Source: Tucson Citizen).

In 2005 there was a big controversy when the Z. Family made a $4000 donation to New Mexico Appeals Court candidate that prompted a judicial complaint. The Abqjournal reports 4700 LLC of Phoenix, is controlled by the Z. Family. "Family members control other companies that operate topless nightclubs in Arizona and New Mexico. " It names the same family members and the felony and shooting of a cop in Tucson adding that the police officer A. Who Patrick Z. Shot once investigated a topless club in Tucson where Z. Worked. It also references the earlier drug charges from Flagstaff.

"The Republican Party realizes that it is not illegal for Judge V. To accept campaign contributions from convicted criminals," the complaint said. "We do question, however, why Judge V. Received a $4,000 contribution from an Arizona family with such strong ties to the underworld of drug dealing and a police killing. ".

A. (the dead cop) was off-duty, wearing dark clothing, a bullet-proof vest and carrying a gun that hadn't been issued by the police department. A. 's shoes were wrapped in duct tape and the license plate had been removed from his unmarked police car. Z. 's federal parole was revoked for carrying a pistol and he served an additional five months in prison. Neither of the two brothers with felony convictions are listed as officers or directors of the topless bars, according to state liquor license records in Arizona and New Mexico. New Mexico liquor records show that Frank, Timothy, James and Vincent Z. Lease the liquor license and building for TD's Showclub.

For the prior criminal enterprise / drug case Patrick appealed all way to the 9th Circuit but lost: 954 F. 2 d 728 (9th Cir. 1992).

Appears that brother Robert Z. Was also sentenced to 13 years for drugs and criminal enterprise selling cocaine at Northern Arizona University via Granny's Closet Bar and Restaurant, which the brothers owned in Flagstaff. Looks like they had another brother Brain (son of Frank) sadly died at age 47 who lived in Phoenix but from Flagstaff.

Heat Cabaret (2438 E MacDowell) sought license transfer from Ox Sportsbar (3209 E Pinchot). This goes back to 2015 with various continuances. City of Phoenix disapproved. The Reverend J. M. And I. M appeared on behalf of the applicant. The City was represented by tow Asst City Prosecutors. Was an error in the application and went to executive session for legal advice. The objection based on application error was overruled as was a motion based on a notice requirement. Applicant testified he changed the business sign, added traffic signs, upgraded outdoor lighting and upgraded the security. He testified he attended a Neighborhood Association meeting where they voted to approve the license.

On cross-examination he explained prior violations at Locas Showclub and Bottoms Up Gentlemen's Club.

I. M. Who lived behind the club testified applicant had worked with the neighborhood and has been responsive to her requests. Also two other neighbors supported the applicant.

There was board debate. License was denied by a 4-1 vote, based on errors in application, response to City's questions and history of liquor license violations at other locations. There was a high crime rate in the area and protests by other residents against the applicant.

I'm surprised you didn't get the strip club tour when they show the areas of the clubs where things are supposed to get interesting, wink, wink. Don't bother. You're better off going to a club located in Phoenix.

After leaving Hi-Liter last Thursday, I picked up one of the free Quest magazines. A big backpage ad for a new Scores club. Same address as Cheetahs, so I went to Cheetahs for the first time Saturday night to check it out. Still called Cheetahs until next weekend, then it's rebranded as Scores. For the grand opening they have a feature dancer, a miss nude universe 2016. I got a couple of dances, similar to Hi-Liter, only there are multiple VIP rooms, with different promises of fun. Maybe?

The Quest magazine featured pictorials show two gals supposed "Scores girls". A dancer friend who works at Elite, tells me they both are dancing at Elite. Scores is a more upscale club started back East, and now franchising the name, so can we expect great things from this club?

There was a another news article on Honeywell having additional layoffs and furloughs and I realized there was a connection with that Christies'. Honeywell's businesses includes avionics and they have or had a major site adjacent to the airport at 3131 E. Air Lane. Those who are savvy to how the address system works in Phoenix, we're talking about an easy walk to Christies' from that Honeywell site.

Given that the area around that is either impoverished or light industry, that club, will never really attract much business with the loss of Honeywell nearby. To make it worse, the club's recent management practices discouraged me and others from even patronizing the place. We've talked about this before.

IMO the odds are over 90% the this club will never reopen as a Christies' and maybe never again as a strip club. Being "closed for remodeling" is a good cover story while the owners figure out what to do or find a buyer.

Took a quick trip to Chicas to see one of my favorites. Got there around 2 pm, right when she started. I like the new look of the place. They have installed new chairs along the wall, a super bright led type dj podium, new flatscreens etc. They also have some crazy new wallpaper on the walls and some "king throne" type chairs in the room. There is definitely more room to chill now. Hell, they even redid the bathroom with 2 urinals now and new sinks. I like the upgrades! The best part is that the quality of dances still remains the same. $10.00, full length songs, and body parts were all in my face if you catch my drift. Spent about 45 minutes there, had 4 or 5 dances and then I was out. Probably my favorite club in Phoenix nowadays with Bandaids a close second.

Gang of 3 almost 4 with gal goes to Hi-Liter.

Great time Tuesday night with Higgs and BigTim / Tommy. We were supposed to be joined by a well-known escort that has gone wild with the dancers on another visit, but she had babysitter problems.

I was reluctant to go on Tues since I follow the election very closely on TV but kept up with the bad news on my phone. Very few customers but I quickly spot BigTim with a slender, attractive dancer in his arms.

I always admire BigTim for his social skills at getting real for the moment interactions with dancers. We are kind of the opposite personality types outgoing, joke telling vs. Me boring old Dave more into analytical fact stuff. My CPA background showing. But found for the right dancer my hands to much of the talking and the good responses to my touch. With these differences, we really get along great and compliment each other. Higgs, of course, is more like my quiet self but always winds up with great real interactions. I've known Higgs for many years as we strip club together.

We all had our laps full, especially since so many dancers vs. Customers. We all turned down a few but also found some gems. For the most part, the new restrictive rules were evident, although not quite to the extreme right after the raid.

Missy had a great body as did gal from Ukraine, although not as much of my desired intimacy connection, although good pre-dance conversation. I don't think any dancer just did the "want to dance" but at least for me, all asked if they could join me and if yes, sat nicely in lap / arms and had a conversation not just rushing into a dance. I believe it was mostly the same for Higgs and BigTim. I was too busy to watch them all the time!

I didn't record in my little black book names of a few other dancers, and I forget them when I get home!

The biggest winner of the night at least for myself and I believe BigTim was Brittany. Age 23 slender, maybe too much so for Higgs, but for me very nice and my preferred smaller breasts even if can't fully enjoy them with the new restrictions. She was cuddled in our arms, very responsive close to a five on my 0-5 intimacy scale with five being rare. I know BigTim really liked her but will let him say more if he chooses. Dynamite insisted he would destroy America (I would not go quite that far). My negative reaction changed after seeing her dance with Higgs and BigTim with more my type of dance. When she offered to go to VIP with both she both times said they were worried about my being left alone. Of course, I had no objection. What was odd, however, is she never came back for a dance from me even after having lots of good interaction with her.

The oddest situation where I looked over to Higgs almost wanting to say "HELP" I need help to get rid of her. Body nice not quite slender for my ideal. Forgot name since just wanted her to leave but didn't quite know how to nicely dismiss her so engaged more than I should have for her mostly nonsensical rants.

I believe I had initially said I was about to leave but ok to sit. From my phone saw I had a few panicked clients leaving me voice mails and e-mails based on election results. Dow futures were down 800 points and foreign markets were plunging. I never did any dance or any wiggle, just sat in my lap. I made some comment about the lack of customers which I understood was a problem after the raid! WRONG thing to mention! As I recall, she asked what I heard. I told her the reports from dancers; a lot left, and I had always been concerned that guys would go too far and spoil a good thing. She insisted very strongly that all the dancers were just making this up. The "event" was only due to someone under age. I mentioned they might have been concerned since the club was fined $8000 in May for touch etc. Violations. She said it never happened. I mention it is in the public record you can see for yourself. Want followed in my view was about how this is all made up, doesn't care about the club losing its liquor license since she has worked at lots of clubs since 1996 and took a few years off.

BTW, I do not recall ever hearing about under aged at clubs, and I checked the Liquor Board record for more than the last year. Many clubs do I'd checks, and of course, the dancers all have to be licensed. I also knew / know some of the club owners and never heard of any underage issue, although could have happened but that was not the issue in the latest raid per many dancers.

She said something about she hasn't watched TV in 10 years and doesn't want that kind of information intruding on her as if it was my fault for bringing up the facts in a nice discussion. It is very similar to the fantasy land where facts have no importance vs. Whatever you want to make up to get the crowd cheering and winning an election. At this point, I was trying to end the conversation which was very hard to do. I think I said I needed to leave and she went into a huge "sales pitch" on how wonderful she could be with me if I would go with her to the VIP. No, in fact, I have never been to the VIP in over a decade coming her, just not my thing. Well, I should have the new experience with her. I'm thinking is there any way I can signal Higgs to interrupt us some way but no clue how. BigTim I believe was off in you know where fully enjoying Brittany. We usually are helpful getting dances for each other not a secret clue to bail us out. When I finally thought I had ended the discussion, she wanted me to pay for all the time spent with her! Thankfully she finally left with my wallet and virginity intact.

The next dancer I believe was Mandy mentioned above. Believe it or not somehow the raid came up. She confirmed everything I had reported by other dancers about the raid and that basically no breast contact was strictly enforced as a result. We proceeded to a nice dance including above the waist, but I didn't try any breast massage that so many dancers enjoy and I enjoy doing.

Other than my wondering where Dynamite went since I would have explored a dance with her I was pretty much danced out and needed to get back to the election, listen to the pundits on three networks I had TIVO'd and prepare what I would write about it or discuss with panicked clients.

But I wanted to say proper goodbyes to BigTim and Higgs who kept having gals in their laps. Finally, after BigTim finished and Higgs just started with a nice black gal (who I earlier rejected but complimented her on her great smile), I said my goodbyes to both after an enjoyable evening (except for the election).

By underage you mean under age 19 which anyone who works at a alcohol strip club must be?

Or do you mean under age 18? I don't think specifically there is any particular law stopping under age 19 strippers at a non-alcohol strip club. The Arizona Revised Statutes allow nudist to be nude from age 0 to 100 I think.
